Imunify360
is a leading developer of Linux infrastructure and security solutions. Our flagship product, Imunify360, is a comprehensive security suite that protects thousands of shared hosting environments, VPS, and dedicated servers worldwide. Our clients include industry giants such as Dell, GoDaddy, IBM, and Zoom, with over 4,500 customers globally. The company has more than 250 employees.
We are looking for an
engineer-architect
to build a
new product from scratch
. This is not a position within an existing team—you will single-handedly create a runtime protection layer for Node.js applications. The hosting market is rapidly adopting Node.js, and modern applications are increasingly generated by users with AI tools and little technical security expertise. Your mission is to make protection automatic, transparent to client code, and effective in real time.
This is a role with the highest level of
ownership
(Senior / Staff / Architect level), where you will make key architectural decisions and take full responsibility for the outcome.
Responsibilities
Define the technical approach for building runtime protection inside the Node.js process.
Design the detection logic to identify and block attacks during application execution.
Build and launch the first version of the product in real production environments.
Ensure the protection works
without requiring changes to client code
and without breaking legitimate applications.
Continuously improve the product based on telemetry, production feedback, and real-world incidents.
Achieve target values across four key metrics:
Runtime overhead
False positives
False negatives
Customer escalation volume
Requirements
The top priority is Security, not just Node.js.
Security experience outweighs general backend tenure.
Must-have:
Experience in Security Engineering or Security Research
(deep understanding of attack vectors and defense methods).
Have independently built and shipped a product/solution from scratch
(end-to-end ownership: from idea to production).
Ability to take an ambiguous problem, define a solution, and deliver a working result without constant supervision.
Experience designing architecture and making key technical decisions (Staff/Architect level is a strong plus).
English language:
Intermediate or higher
(written and spoken — all interviews are conducted in English).
Nice-to-have:
Security experience specifically in the context of Node.js (vulnerability analysis, securing, researching Node.js applications).
Experience with Linux in production and development environments.
Knowledge of Runtime Protection, WAF, instrumentation, malware analysis, and Incident Response.
Experience in managed hosting / VPS domains.
Experience with AI coding agents (Copilot, Cursor, etc.).
Important:
If you are a Security Engineer / Researcher who doesn't code on a daily basis, you must be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools and be capable of building an MVP with their help.
Who you are (mindset):
Builder:
You genuinely enjoy creating something new and seeing it run in production.
High ownership:
You don't wait for tasks to be assigned — you define the approach and own the results.
Practioner:
You write code (yourself or with AI), not just review and coordinate.
You understand
Detection Engineering
— how detection rules behave at scale across thousands of servers and the true cost of false positives.
We do NOT consider candidates who:
Have only theoretical or research experience without shipping real products.
Have general Node.js development experience but lack a security component.
Reside in countries with complex B2B tax reporting requirements (USA, UK, Canada, Germany, France, and others — to be clarified during screening).
Have frequent job changes (every 1–2 years) without valid reasons.
Benefits
Format:
100% remote work anywhere in the world.
Legal setup:
B2B only (contract with your sole proprietorship or company).
Budget:
Up to $12,000 gross/month (before taxes, under a B2B agreement).
Company:
A stable, established international product company with 15+ years in the market.
Role:
A key position in building a new product line from the ground up.
Location: Warsaw, Poland; Belgrade, Serbia; Limassol, Cyprus; Yerevan, Armenia; Barcelona, Spain

Job Type
Full-time (Remote, working full UK business hours)
Engagement: Independent Contractor
About the Company
Our client is a growing UK digital marketing business managing paid media for a portfolio of external agency clients and more than 12 companies within its wider group.
Their focus is primarily on SMEs and local service businesses, so this role is ideal for a Paid Media Specialist who understands how to generate meaningful results with smaller, carefully managed advertising budgets—not someone whose experience is limited to large brands with significant media spend.
The team values accountability, commercial thinking, accurate tracking, and clear communication with clients.
Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Paid Media Specialist to take ownership of Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns across multiple SME client accounts.
Google Ads will be your immediate and primary focus, with Meta Ads becoming an increasingly important part of the role as additional accounts come online.
This is not a strategy-only position. You'll personally build, audit, restructure, optimize, track, and report on campaigns.
It's also a highly client-facing performance marketing role. You'll be responsible for turning a client's budget and objectives into a structured campaign, accurately tracking results, and personally presenting performance to clients—including explaining what happened and what you're changing when results fall below expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day management of Google Ads campaigns across multiple SME client accounts
Build, audit, restructure, and optimize Google Ads accounts from the ground up
Manage Search, Performance Max, and Display campaigns
Structure campaigns effectively, including account architecture, keyword strategy, and match-type separation

Build and verify conversion tracking from scratch using Google Tag Manager
Implement and troubleshoot call and lead conversion tracking
Build and manage Meta Ads campaigns, including Meta Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI) implementation
Monitor performance and flag underperforming accounts within 48 hours, rather than waiting for month-end reporting
Produce monthly written performance reports for each account with clear commentary explaining what changed, why it changed, and what happens next
Lead client performance and review calls
Communicate campaign wins, challenges, and underperformance confidently and professionally
Provide weekly internal summaries covering spend, conversions, CPA, and overall account performance
Recommend landing page and conversion-rate improvements based on campaign data
Brief internal creative resources on required ad creative and video assets
Feed paid search insights into organic search and SEO targeting
Maintain accurate daily time records for internal billing
Work with tools including GoHighLevel and Apollo where relevant; significant prospecting or list building is not expected, as target company lists are provided
Requirements
Proven hands-on experience managing Google Ads across multiple client accounts
Strong experience working with SMEs, local businesses, or smaller advertising budgets
Demonstrable experience personally executing campaigns—not simply overseeing or delegating execution
Hands-on experience with Google Search, Performance Max, and Display
Experience managing Meta Ads campaigns
Practical knowledge of Meta Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI) setup
Ability to build conversion tracking from scratch, including Google Tag Manager
Strong understanding of campaign structure, bidding strategies, budget pacing, CPA, conversion optimization, and attribution
Experience presenting campaign performance directly to clients
Confidence discussing underperformance and difficult results—not only campaign wins
Fluent spoken and written English with excellent client-facing communication skills
Highly self-directed and capable of identifying problems and restructuring accounts without constant instruction
Strong reporting discipline and ability to consistently meet fixed reporting deadlines
Comfortable with daily time tracking

Reporting Line
Reports directly to the
CEO
.
Leads a compliance function that includes the Group Paralegal (direct report) and all compliance personnel embedded across the CXM Group of Companies.
Location
Remote (EU timezone preferred)
This is a fully remote role. EU timezone alignment is preferred to ensure effective overlap with key offices across the CXM Group. Occasional travel may be required for regulator meetings and visits to regional teams.
General Purpose
CXM Group is building a compliance architecture across six business lines and multiple jurisdictions simultaneously — this role owns that build.
The group is at an inflection point: multiple licensing processes are running in parallel, including a Norwegian crypto exchange being structured for MiCA passporting, a South African broker-dealer acquisition, a VARA application in the UAE, and prospective acquisitions in LATAM and Southeast Asia. The CCO exists to hold this together — ensuring that a fast-moving, multi-asset, multi-jurisdictional expansion programme stays regulatorily sound, that new entities are acquired and integrated without compliance exposure, and that the group's licensing pipeline converts into durable, operating authorisations across FX, CFDs, crypto, prediction markets, prop trading, and education.
This is a role for someone who has operated across tier-one and emerging-market regimes simultaneously and has the regulator-facing credibility to show for it.
Specific Objectives
Build and deploy a group-wide compliance reporting framework
Within the first three months, establish a structured compliance reporting framework covering all regulated entities across the CXM Group — including defined reporting lines, cadences, and escalation paths that give the CEO and board clear, timely visibility of the group's regulatory posture.
Create an AI-enabled legal document database
Within six months, deliver a searchable, indexed, and cross-referenced repository of all legal documentation across the group — structured for AI-assisted retrieval so that agreements, licences, policies, and regulatory correspondence can be surfaced and compared at speed.
Establish and embed internal legal SLAs
Within the first three months, define and operationalise service-level agreements for all internal legal workflows: standard contract reviews turned in 24 hours; new contract drafting completed within 48 hours; policy creation on agreed timelines. Compliance with these SLAs to be tracked and reported.
Deploy legal and compliance risk monitoring tools
Within six months, implement risk monitoring tooling across all business verticals and target markets — covering FX, CFDs, crypto, prediction markets, prop trading, and education — providing structured, ongoing visibility of regulatory and legal risk exposure across the group.
Drive the live licensing and acquisition pipeline to defined milestones
Own delivery against the group's active regulatory and M&A programme: South African broker-dealer acquisition and VARA (UAE) licence obtained by Q3 2026; VARA application submitted by Q4 2026 and licence granted by Q3 2027; MiCA passporting for the Norwegian crypto exchange secured by Q2 2027; LATAM and Southeast Asia acquisition targets scoped and structured by Q1 2027.
Key Activities
Oversee group-wide legal and compliance communications
Manage all inbound and outbound communications across the compliance and legal function — ensuring consistency of position, appropriate escalation, and clear audit trails across all CXM Group entities.
Monitor brand, regulatory, and compliance risk
Run ongoing monitoring of online brand exposure and regulatory risk signals across all business verticals and target markets, using dedicated tooling to surface issues before they become regulatory events.
Research target markets and emerging regulatory requirements
Conduct structured research on new and existing jurisdictions — tracking legislative developments, regulatory guidance, and enforcement trends across FX, CFDs, crypto, prediction markets, prop trading, and education to keep the group's risk exposure visible and current.
Build and maintain reporting infrastructure with Ops and IT
Work cross-functionally with Operations and IT to design, implement, and maintain the compliance reporting systems and dashboards needed to give leadership real-time visibility of the group's regulatory posture.
Inventory, organise, and analyse all group legal agreements
Own the end-to-end legal document function: audit existing agreements across all entities, build and maintain the AI-enabled document repository, and ensure all contracts are indexed, cross-referenced, and accessible for rapid retrieval.
Manage regulatory relationships and respond to inquiries
Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators across all jurisdictions — preparing responses, managing ongoing dialogue, and coordinating regulator visits or meetings with appropriate precision and consistency.
Set and enforce contract throughput standards
Define the SLA framework for all internal legal workflows — 24 hours for standard contract reviews, 48 hours for new contract drafting — and hold the Group Paralegal and compliance staff accountable for delivery against those standards. The CCO personally handles high-stakes, novel, or regulator-facing agreements; standard throughput runs through the team.
Requirements
Key Competences
Two competences are non-negotiable (and typically take a decade of multi-jurisdictional work to build) — everything else can be ramped. If you don't have these, the rest of the profile doesn't matter.
Non-negotiable
Multi-jurisdictional regulatory knowledge
Demonstrated command of tier-one regimes (CySEC, FCA, NFA, ASIC) and offshore/emerging-market frameworks (UAE, Mauritius, Seychelles, SVG, Cambodia), with working knowledge of MiCA and crypto licensing regimes globally. This is the core of the mandate — live deals are already in motion.
Regulator-facing credibility
Confidence and competence in direct regulator engagement — managing inquiries, coordinating responses, and representing the group's compliance posture with consistency across jurisdictions. The group has active regulator relationships that need an owner from day one.
Strong advantage
M&A and licensing fluency
Ability to support acquisition structuring and entity integration from a compliance perspective — assessing regulatory exposure, coordinating with external counsel, and managing parallel licensing processes without dropping threads.
AI-enabled legal operations
Experience deploying AI tooling in legal workflows — document retrieval, contract review acceleration, risk monitoring — is a strong advantage. Candidates without a deployment track record must demonstrate a concrete plan for rapid adoption and the aptitude to execute it.
Function leadership and SLA ownership
Ability to set standards, delegate effectively, and hold a team accountable for throughput — running the contract and compliance function at scale without becoming the bottleneck. Personal involvement reserved for high-stakes, novel, or regulator-facing matters.
Likely Current Job
Chief Compliance Officer (multi-jurisdictional broker or crypto exchange)
The closest equivalent — already holding a CCO title across FX, CFDs, or crypto at a group with multiple regulated entities and active regulator relationships. If your current seat is steady-state and you're ready to own a live build across six asset classes and a dozen jurisdictions, this is the step up.
Head of Compliance (tier-one regulated broker)
One level below CCO at a CySEC, FCA, or ASIC-regulated firm — strong regulatory depth, ready to move into group-level ownership. If you've hit the ceiling of what a single-jurisdiction, single-entity compliance role can teach you, this is where the complexity scales.
Regulatory Affairs Director (fintech or crypto)
Licensing and regulator-facing experience across multiple jurisdictions, possibly without the full compliance function remit yet. If you've been the technical expert behind the licensing programme and want to own the outcome end-to-end, this is the mandate.
M&A Compliance Lead (financial services)
Embedded in acquisition structuring and entity integration at a PE-backed or multi-entity financial services group. If you've been supporting deals from the compliance side and want a seat where M&A fluency is a core expectation rather than a secondary contribution, this is it.
Senior Legal Counsel / Head of Legal (retail broker or crypto exchange)
Contract-heavy, regulator-facing, with compliance responsibility baked in — a common feeder at smaller multi-jurisdictional groups where legal and compliance sit close together. If you've been carrying both functions informally and want a title and mandate that reflects the actual scope, this role makes it official.
Benefits
Employer Value Proposition
Most CCO roles at this level are maintenance jobs — one regulator, one entity, one asset class. This one is not.
Genuine architectural ownership across six asset classes and a dozen jurisdictions
FX, CFDs, crypto, prediction markets, prop trading, and education — running simultaneously, across tier-one and emerging-market regimes, with live licensing and M&A deals already in motion. The compliance architecture doesn't exist yet at group level. You're building it. By the end of year one, you'll be able to say you built a multi-jurisdictional compliance architecture from scratch, closed live licensing deals across MiCA, VARA, and emerging markets simultaneously, and stood up an AI-enabled legal ops function before almost anyone in the segment has done it. That is a résumé paragraph no single-jurisdiction maintenance role can produce.
Direct line to the CEO — and the mandate authority that comes with it
This role reports directly to the CEO, not to a CLO or CFO. In a live licensing and M&A environment where decisions need to move fast, that access matters: no layers between compliance judgment and executive action. Many group-level CCO seats don't offer this — this one does.
A live deal pipeline, not a hypothetical one
MiCA passporting, VARA in the UAE, a South African broker-dealer acquisition, and prospective acquisitions in LATAM and Southeast Asia — these are active, not aspirational. You'll be in the room on deals that will define the group's regulatory footprint for the next decade.
A first-mover opportunity in AI-enabled legal ops
The mandate includes building the AI-enabled legal ops function at group level — document retrieval, contract throughput acceleration, risk monitoring — in a segment where almost nobody has done it yet at this scale. If you've started deploying AI in legal workflows and want a seat where that capability shapes the entire function, this is it.
Group-level mandate, not a function-level seat
Functional authority over compliance personnel across all CXM Group entities. The scope matches the title — and the title reflects the actual job.
Fully remote
No relocation. No commute. Occasional travel when it matters — regulator meetings, regional teams — and otherwise, work from wherever you do your best thinking.
A genuinely uncommon opportunity
Multi-asset, multi-jurisdictional, M&A-active, AI-forward, fully remote — and at a scale that is still early enough for you to leave a visible mark. Roles with this combination of complexity and ownership don't come up often.
Compensation
Compensation is bespoke to the hire. We'd rather understand what you bring to the table and have a direct conversation about expectations than anchor the discussion prematurely. The package will be competitive with the scope of the mandate and consist of base + bonus that is tied to hitting agreed KPIs.
Assessment Process
This process is designed to match the weight of the mandate. A seat with this scope — live licensing, active M&A, and a compliance architecture being built from scratch — deserves a rigorous hire, and we make no apology for that. Every stage is purposeful, and every interviewer is there for a reason.
Group Legal Counsel
— regulatory and legal technical depth across jurisdictions, plus practical M&A case questions to assess acquisition structuring judgment.

THE ROLE
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com is scaling a multi-cloud environment at pace, and security architecture is central to how we do it safely.
As Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you'll work closely with Engineering, GRC, Technology Risk, and Security Operations to embed security into every design decision and to make sure we can see what's happening across the estate once it's live.
You'll help embed security within the design phase and ongoing operations of our multi-cloud posture, define guardrails and policy-as-code standards, and support the strengthening of our SIEM and detection capability. You'll take on the most complex and ambiguous cloud security challenges in the business, and hold engineers to best practices.
This isn't a tool-monitoring role. You're here to lead security-by-design, set best-practice standards, and raise the bar.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and enforce reference security architectures, patterns, and blueprints for secure cloud adoption across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Conduct security assessments for new cloud services, defining preventative and detective controls (via security guardrails) to maintain secure posture and detect drift.
- Partner with Engineering teams to embed security guardrails early in design, ensuring compliance and resilience without adding friction.
- Evaluate engineering and platform architecture proposals, identifying security gaps and seeing remediation through to completion.
- Document and uphold secure-by-design principles and architecture governance, and enforce policy-as-code frameworks aligned with NIST, CIS, and PCI DSS.
- Set the monitoring scope and priorities for CNAPP/CSPM tooling (e.g. Wiz or equivalent), defining which misconfigurations and vulnerabilities matter most against CIS, NIST, and PCI DSS benchmarks, and holding engineering teams accountable to remediation outcomes.
- Work with Security Operations to shape cloud logging and detection requirements, ensuring our SIEM has the right visibility across the estate.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to articulate security risks and mitigations in terms that support business decision-making.
Skills and Experience We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with strong technical expertise and a genuine passion for security. Here's what we need:
- Risk-based decision-making and adherence to regulatory and internal security standards (PCI DSS, NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Broad knowledge across security domains and their capabilities within AWS, Azure, and GCP, with 6+ years' hands-on experience and SME depth in at least one platform.
- Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), API security, and IaC security (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
- Securing user and non-user access at scale, including Azure Policy and cloud-native IAM controls.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear, security-focused guidance, combined with excellent communication and senior-stakeholder engagement skills, and experience mentoring other engineers.
Nice to Have
- CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent certifications.
- AZ-500, AWS Certified Security, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent cloud security certification.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
- Experience integrating ATT&CK Navigator into SOC workflows.

You’ll shape technical direction across teams through clear written proposals and decision records, and partner with Product and Engineering leadership on platform roadmap and investment trade-offs.
Frontier AI Work:
You’ll lead adoption of AI-assisted and agentic engineering workflows and define the review, quality, security, and privacy guardrails that make them safe to rely on.
Autonomy:
You’ll thrive in our remote-first, asynchronous organization, where clear written communication and self-direction are the pillars of success.
What you’ll do
Lead Cross-Cutting Initiatives:
Lead the technical design and delivery of large backend initiatives that span teams, and identify and remove systemic bottlenecks across product and infrastructure groups.
Own Architecture Strategy:
Drive modular backend, service, data, and platform architecture. Lead modernization of the monolith and legacy backends toward modular, reusable, and appropriately independently operated systems — while preventing fragmentation and service sprawl.
Set the Standards:
Define and improve standards for APIs, contracts, compatibility, schema evolution, testing, security, performance, observability, operability, and maintainability — plus the build, test, deploy, release, rollback, and production-readiness practices needed to operate modular features safely.
Establish Shared Patterns:
Create the patterns for dependency management, data ownership, eventing, failure isolation, service maturity, and operational documentation. Establish Go service patterns and Kubernetes operating practices where they matter to our production estate, and guide Rust adoption where it solves a real systems, security, performance, or supply-chain problem.
Own What You Build in Production:
Take part in on-call and incident response for the systems your teams own, act as a technical escalation point during complex incidents, and turn what you learn into architectural and operational improvements that prevent recurrence.
Influence and Partner:
Shape technical direction across teams without formal authority, and partner with Product and Engineering leadership on platform-level roadmap decisions and investment trade-offs.
Grow Engineers:
Mentor Senior and Intermediate engineers, shepherd technical debt reduction and reusable patterns that improve throughput, and raise the technical capability of the wider team.
Lead AI Adoption:
Lead team-level adoption of AI-assisted and agentic workflows, including the quality, security, privacy, and operational guardrails, and help engineers direct, validate, reject, and course-correct agent output.
What you’ll bring
Cross-Team Technical Leadership:
A sustained record of technical leadership across more than one team or a broad product area.
Deep Architecture Experience:
Deep backend architecture and production experience in complex applications, services, or platforms, including scaling or governing APIs, service platforms, data systems, modular monoliths, or shared backend components.
Modularization in Production:
Experience modernizing a monolith or legacy backend architecture in production, and with modular architecture such as bounded contexts, package encapsulation, ports and adapters, service extraction, event-driven boundaries, or an equivalent approach.
Influence Without Authority:
A strong ability to create alignment through clear written proposals and decision records, so decisions are documented, understood, and adopted without constant escalation.
Product Judgment:
The ability to balance customer outcomes, delivery speed, technical health, reliability, and long-term platform investment.
Mentorship:
Experience mentoring engineers and shaping standards through code review, documentation, and example.
Agentic AI Leadership:
Production experience with AI-assisted or agentic engineering workflows, including the ability to evaluate and improve how a team adopts them.
Helpful experience

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Solutions Team are technical experts that work directly with customers and partners to provide world-class product, sales, industry, and domain expertise. WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Collaborate with Ramp Channel Partner Managers to showcase technical accounting features and benefits through customized product demos, workflow illustrations, and enablement creation to onboard and train Ramp's partners
- Help partners build service packages targeted at Ramp customers and identify opportunities for client-advisory services or managed-services. Develop product solutions based on a deep understanding of integration and configuration options, ensuring effective alignment with customer needs
- Architect, advise on, and validate custom API-based integrations between Ramp and third-party platforms — supporting partners in the design, build, and testing of reliable, scalable integrations.
- Support Sales and Post-Sales teams in executing advanced technical and accounting implementations for Ramp in conjunction with Channel partners
- Evaluate customer requirements for new partner opportunities, determining Ramp's suitability through use-case analysis, ROI assessments, and technical evaluations during customer discovery
- Work alongside Channel, Product, Product Marketing, and Product Operations to create and maintain technical assets and an internal knowledge base of customer use cases and best practices
WHAT YOU NEED
- 6+ years of experience in Partner Architecture, Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar customer-facing roles, focusing on implementing business SaaS solutions
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, accounting or related field
