Location: Remote; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA Workplace: Remote We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science. We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world. World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached. Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you. *Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers. ABOUT THE ROLE Preferable to have someone near an office in NYC or San Francisco, but open to hiring around the world for the right candidate. Runway Creative is an all-in-one platform giving creators and businesses endless ways to generate and edit video, images, and audio. Our user base spans across professional creatives, as well as business owners and enterprise marketing and merchandising teams that come to Runway to generate videos, ads and other content to promote their products and services. We're hiring for a Senior Product Manager to build agent products. You’ll own new product development end-to-end, from customer and technical discovery, to product shaping and viability, to quality and feedback loops that make these products better. You’ll work at the frontier of agentic product development, shaping how Runway Agents help our customers grow their businesses. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Represent the customer: develop deep understanding of creative and marketing workflows through frequent customer engagement; synthesize findings on agent performance and behavior, and lead a team with clarity and conviction. - Lead Agent Development: run user interviews, competitive research, eval analysis, and prompt experimentation. Shape your findings into new product offerings that solve customer problems in new and novel ways. - Own agent quality: create eval infrastructure, monitor regressions, and ensure that agents improves with every release. - Shape the scope: scope ruthlessly to deliver exceptional user value on a fast paced release. - Ship, hands-on. ship your own PRs to improve the product experience. You'll be in the details daily and shipping regularly. - Create compelling launch moments: enable sales, support, and marketing with the context they need to communicate new agent capabilities effectively WHAT YOU’LL NEED - 8+ years in the software industry, with direct ownership of an AI or LLM powered product in a product management or engineering leadership role. A track record of moving revenue and adoption metrics, not just shipping features. - You thrive in an environment with rapid pace and a high accountability culture. You move very fast, make decisions with incomplete information, and instinctively gravitate towards shipping today, not writing docs for tomorrow. - Hands-on experience building and shipping agent-products - you understand tool use, planning loops, multi-step reasoning, and how and why agents fail. You have deep familiarity with prompt engineering and evaluation frameworks. - Excellent written and verbal communication. You can make a sharp, written argument and tell a compelling launch story. You confidently assess the state of the business, call out challenges and articulate your plans to solve them. Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide. There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. Location: Australia, Adelaide Why Sony Interactive Entertainment? Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity. About the role We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help shape and build the next generation of our network automation platforms. Our challenge is one of scale, complexity and criticality. We operate a massive global network supporting PlayStation Network, spanning more than 40 interconnection locations and 20+ data centres worldwide. Operating infrastructure at this scale safely and efficiently requires us to move beyond specialist-driven workflows and individual automation tools toward reliable, declarative software platforms. You will help make that transition. You will work on software that turns complex network and infrastructure operations into reliable, API-driven and increasingly self-service capabilities. This includes building control-plane services, declarative APIs and intent-based controllers that manage production infrastructure safely and consistently across our global footprint. This is a Staff-level engineering role with significant technical influence. You will combine hands-on engineering with setting technical direction: defining architectures, solving complex cross-system and distributed-systems problems, writing designs, driving alignment with senior engineers and architects, and mentoring engineers across the team. Your work will directly influence how one of the world's largest gaming networks is operated and automated, while establishing engineering patterns and platforms that can be reused across multiple network domains and services. What you'll do Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for network automation and infrastructure control platforms, treating the self-service network API as a product by working with users and partner teams to define outcomes, establish clear expectations for API behavior and reliability, align on team responsibilities, and ensure those commitments are met. Use domain-driven design with network experts, software engineers and API consumers to establish shared language and bounded contexts, then turn those agreements into versioned, testable contracts. Design and build APIs, services, controllers and reconciliation workflows that manage production infrastructure safely at scale. Build on the Kubernetes API, including custom resources and control loops that continuously converge actual state toward declared intent. Own the operational Kubernetes path: CRD rollout, RBAC and admission, controller health, Helm packaging, deployment drift and incident diagnosis. Design distributed workflows that operate correctly under eventual consistency, at-least-once delivery, concurrent writes and partial failure, with idempotency and safe recovery as fundamental properties. Design stable APIs, schemas and data models used across team boundaries, including versioning and backwards compatibility. Develop patterns for multi-tenant infrastructure platforms, including tenant isolation, authorization, policy enforcement and safe automation boundaries. Establish strong approaches to testing, observability and change safety for software that changes live infrastructure. Improve software delivery practices through automated CI gates, versioned artifacts, controlled promotion, and safe deployment and recovery strategies. Lead complex migrations and modernization of existing automation, services and data models, evaluating when components should be evolved, replaced or rewritten, and ensuring safe coexistence, behavioral compatibility and retirement of legacy paths. Drive technical alignment across software engineering, networking, operations and architecture teams; lead decisions within your area of accountability, contribute constructively to decisions owned by others, and make technology choices based on long-term company and product value. Mentor engineers, lead technical and design reviews, and raise software engineering standards across the wider organization. What we're looking for Must have Deep expertise in a backend language such as Python, Go, Rust or Java, including asynchronous concurrency, static typing, data modelling and validation, API development, packaging and tooling. Strong experience building Kubernetes controllers or operators, including custom resources and reconciliation/control-loop patterns. Strong experience building event-driven distributed systems, particularly eventual consistency, at-least-once delivery, idempotency, optimistic concurrency and partial-failure handling. Experience designing and building self-service, multi-tenant platforms, including tenant isolation, policy and access control. Strong API and schema design skills, including versioning and schema evolution for interfaces consumed by other teams and systems. Demonstrated technical leadership across team boundaries, including driving architectural designs, building agreement among senior technical stakeholders and mentoring other engineers. A track record of taking ambiguous, technically complex problems from architecture through to reliable production systems that manage large-scale infrastructure, such as networks, compute or cloud resources. Nice to have Networking fundamentals, particularly BGP, IP fabrics and VXLAN/EVPN/L3VPN. Working knowledge of Go, sufficient to understand and contribute to adjacent services and controllers. Experience designing testing and observability strategies for production infrastructure automation, including systems and backends that cannot be fully reproduced in CI. Experience with graph databases, or with source-of-truth systems that model infrastructure and its relationships. The impact You will help establish the architecture and engineering practices behind a new generation of network automation, moving from individual scripts and specialist-driven workflows toward declarative, model-driven and reliable platforms. At Staff level, your impact is expected to extend beyond the code you personally deliver. You will help shape the APIs and designs other teams build on, develop other engineers, and establish technical patterns that can be reused across multiple network domains and services. Please note, Sony Interactive Entertainment conducts background checks at the offer stage for all new employees (which may include criminal background checks for some roles) and will need to process personal information to support these checks. Please refer to our Candidate Privacy Notice for more information about what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your data protection rights. Equal Opportunity Statement: Sony is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All persons will receive consideration for employment without regard to gender (including gender identity, gender expression and gender reassignment), race (including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin), religion or belief, marital or civil partnership status, disability, age, sexual orientation, pregnancy, maternity or parental status, trade union membership or membership in any other legally protected category. We strive to create an inclusive environment, empower employees and embrace diversity. We encourage everyone to respond. Sony Interactive Entertainment is a Fair Chance employer and qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for employment.

An overview of this role As a Staff Renewals Operations Manager at GitLab, you'll help own the operational engine that makes renewals predictable, measurable, and efficient at scale. Reporting to the Director of CX Operations, you'll be the Renewals team's go-to business partner for processes, tooling, forecasting and insights, consumption and subscription data, and the steps required to quote and close a renewal. This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports. You'll lead through ownership and influence, connecting teams and workflows, turning ambiguous problems into clear next steps, and driving improvements that others across the revenue organization depend on. What you'll do Own and continuously improve the end-to-end renewal operating model; from renewal identification, assignment through risk management, quoting, through to close and post-renewal data hygiene processes. Develop and improve the operating cadences that guide the renewal business, with a focus on efficiency and process improvement. Define, maintain, and evolve retention reporting with cross-functional partners, including gross and net retention, churn and downgrade analysis, and the drivers behind each. Partner with Revenue Technology, Revenue Analytics, Finance, and other stakeholders to improve Salesforce and the systems and data flows supporting customer relationship management (CRM), subscription and entitlement records, quoting, orders, billing, and reporting. Translate business needs into requirements, validate solutions, and strengthen data quality and operational controls. Simplify and scale the renewal motion through automation, standardized workflows, alerts, playbooks, and self-service insights that reduce manual effort and improve execution consistency. Support renewals planning and capacity management, including segmentation implementation, coverage models, productivity assumptions, capacity modeling, supporting target setting, and scenario planning. Own and mature the Renewal Operations case-management program, including intake, triage, routing, service-level visibility, resolution, and root-cause analysis. Requests may include user migrations, de-duplication, Renewal Manager ownership changes, compensation exceptions, and Salesforce or data issues. Raise the operating standard in your domain by documenting processes, mentoring others on how the renewal motion works, and contributing to broader Revenue Operations initiatives that need the renewals perspective. What you'll bring Experience in Renewals Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, management consulting, strategy, or a similar analytical and problem-solving role, with ownership of operational improvements and cross-functional initiatives. Hands-on experience with both consumption and subscription renewal motions, including renewal forecasting, retention reporting, and the contractual and process mechanics that govern how renewals close. Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills. You can break down ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and move them forward. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. You're highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, can build and validate models from scratch, and can translate analysis into clear recommendations and action. Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) or equivalent data-querying tools is preferred, not required. Systems thinking and experience using Salesforce for pipeline and renewals reporting. You understand how changes in one part of the go-to-market motion affect others, including how CRM, subscription or entitlement records, quoting, and billing relate to one another, and you design solutions accordingly. Sound commercial judgment and an understanding of renewal complexity, including co-terming, amendments, expansions, downgrades, price changes, multiyear agreements, auto-renewals, procurement requirements, and approval policies. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. You build trust with stakeholders at all levels, including field teams and senior leadership, and influence without direct authority. Curiosity, sound judgment, and a bias toward action. You learn new domains and tools quickly, move from insight to implementation, and follow through until improvements are adopted and sustained. About the team You'll work within CX Operations, partnering closely with Renewals and Customer Success leadership, Sales, Finance, Revenue Technology, and Revenue Analytics. These partnerships connect renewal execution with the processes, systems, and data that support it. In GitLab's all-remote, values-driven environment, documentation, iteration, and cross-functional partnership are core to how you'll work. Location: United States of America What We Do: Cybercrime is growing, and more businesses are getting hit by threats that used to target only the biggest organizations. That pushes defenders like us to operate at the highest level, and it deepens our need for good people who want to make a meaningful impact. Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress is a remote-first team working to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. We work closely with security teams and service providers protecting complex environments, often without the time or headcount to handle it all. That’s why we build our technology in-house and back it with a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center (SOC). As a result, our platform is never disconnected from the experts who manage it, ensuring our customers' protection. Huntress now secures more than 6M endpoints and 16M identities worldwide. Those numbers keep growing because more businesses rely on us to help carry the load and operate with more confidence. Every day, you can see that commitment in how we stand with our customers and how we show up for each other. Reports To: Director of Product Management, Platform Location: Remote US Compensation Range: $230,000 to $250,000 base, plus bonus and equity What You’ll Do: Set the integrated product vision and strategy for both the Core Platform and Platform Value teams in partnership with the Director of Product Management, engineering leadership, design, customer-facing teams, and other product leaders. Own and communicate a roadmap that balances shared platform foundations with partner-visible value, including clear sequencing, tradeoffs, dependencies, and investment cases. Lead strategy and discovery across platform capabilities such as identity and SSO, RBAC, accounts and organizations, audit logging, shared services, product enablement, and platform system-of-record concerns. Lead strategy and discovery across partner-facing experiences such as reporting, reporting delivery and sharing, dashboards, onboarding, action workflows, cross-product views, and other experiences that help partners demonstrate and act on Huntress value. Treat MSPs and their clients as first-class users: understand their operating models, workflows, permissions, organizational structures, reporting needs, and jobs to be done. Partner closely with design to research user problems, test concepts, produce wireframes and prototypes, and build intuitive experiences for complex technical workflows. Bring a strong UX point of view to platform work, ensuring that backend capability is paired with an experience that users can understand and successfully complete. Translate ambiguous customer, partner, and internal stakeholder needs into clear product outcomes, principles, requirements, epics, and user stories. Work with engineers, architects, and designers to shape product specifications and technical approaches for durable, reusable platform capabilities. Establish and steward interfaces, shared objects, APIs, and product contracts that enable other teams to build on the platform without bespoke implementation work. Make platform investments legible to executive stakeholders by connecting technical work to customer outcomes, partner value, product velocity, operational efficiency, and business growth. Establish measurable outcomes for both platform effectiveness and partner value, such as time to enable a new product, completion of identity and access workflows, report generation and sharing, dashboard adoption, and time to action. Participate as a key contributor through the full product lifecycle, from discovery and research through delivery, launch, adoption, and iteration. Protect capacity for reliability, usability, instrumentation, and technical debt while making disciplined tradeoffs against feature pressure. Create alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, Support, Sales, Marketing, Security, and other stakeholders through clear written and verbal communication. Mentor and raise the quality of product management practice through example, coaching, reusable approaches, and thoughtful product reviews, while remaining an individual contributor. Responsibilities: Huntress is building a unified platform that helps product teams ship faster, gives partners a more coherent experience, and makes the value of Huntress visible and actionable. We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead the connected product strategy across Core Platform and Platform Value. This is one integrated platform leadership role. You will own the shared foundations that products depend on and the user experiences through which partners understand, configure, and act on the value Huntress delivers. Your scope will include platform services and system-of-record surfaces such as identity, SSO, RBAC, accounts, organizations, auditability, product enablement, and shared platform capabilities. It will also include partner-facing experiences such as reporting, dashboards, onboarding, action workflows, and other surfaces that help MSPs demonstrate and operationalize security outcomes for their clients. The role is especially important to Huntress because our customers are often managed service providers. You will need to understand the MSP business model, including how partners manage multiple organizations, delegate access, standardize workflows, demonstrate value to clients, and scale operations across their customer base. This is a hands-on Staff-level individual contributor role. You will set direction, create clarity in ambiguous problem spaces, work deeply with engineering and design, and influence product teams across Huntress without relying on direct authority. You will operate at both strategic and executional altitude—from platform vision and investment cases to user research, prototypes, requirements, launches, and measurable outcomes. What You Bring To The Team: 7+ years of experience in a product management role, with a track record of increasing scope and impact. 2+ years of direct experience with the MSP business model and workflows. You understand how service providers manage multiple customers, users, organizations, permissions, reporting, and operational scale. 3+ years of prior experience as a platform product manager, with ownership of shared services, backend systems, APIs, data models, or interfaces consumed by multiple product teams. A demonstrated track record of building and launching platform capabilities—not only managing roadmaps or coordinating delivery. Strong UX product management experience. You have personally led user research, workflow design, prototyping, usability testing, or the creation of customer-facing interfaces. Experience building products for complex B2B users, administrators, operators, or technical professionals. The ability to connect technical platform investments to clear user outcomes and business value. Strong product judgment in ambiguous environments, including the ability to distinguish foundational platform work from one-off feature requests. Experience working closely with engineering, architecture, and design teams to make difficult technical and product decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear product narratives, requirements, epics, and stories that align teams around intended outcomes. Comfort operating as a hands-on individual contributor who can move between strategy, discovery, UX details, execution, and stakeholder leadership. Experience working in an agile development environment using modern product and engineering tools. Strong analytical, creative, and critical-thinking abilities, with comfort in defining metrics and using evidence to make prioritization decisions. Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or another complex B2B technology environment; experience with products serving MSPs, MSSPs, or channel partners is required. What We Offer: 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015 Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays 12 weeks of paid parental leave Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans 401(k) with a 5% contribution regardless of employee contribution Life and Disability insurance plans Stock options for all full-time employees One-time $500 reimbursement for building/upgrading home office Annual allowance for education and professional development assistance $75 USD/month digital reimbursement Access to the BetterUp platform for coaching, personal, and professional growth Huntress is committed to creating a culture of inclusivity where every single member of our team is valued, has a voice, and is empowered to come to work every day just as they are. We do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran status, genetic information, marital status, or any other legally protected status. We do discriminate against hackers who try to exploit businesses of all sizes. Location: Remote (United States | Canada) Workplace: Remote 1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $500M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing. About 1Password At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work. If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future. Our Infrastructure Services organization is responsible for the underlying infrastructure that powers the 1Password application. It includes Compute Services, Network and Edge Services, and Stateful Services. As a Senior Staff Cloud Platform Engineer, you set the multi-year technical strategy for Infrastructure Services. You decide where the organization invests, define the architecture and standards that every infrastructure team and internal tenant builds on, and make sure our compute, network and edge, and stateful platforms evolve as one coherent system rather than three separate ones. You partner with engineering and product leadership, security, and finance to balance reliability, security, cost, and delivery speed, and you are the senior technical voice for infrastructure across the company. This is a hands-on role. You write design docs, prototype, review the hardest designs, and step into the most serious incidents. But your main impact comes from making many teams more effective and from the decisions that hold up for years. How we’re using AI today Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US. What we're looking for: - You have set technical direction across multiple teams. You have owned an infrastructure strategy or architecture spanning several teams or an entire organization, and you can point to the multi-year outcomes: what others adopted, what shipped, and what measurably improved. - You have operated Kubernetes at production scale. This includes multi-cluster, multi-tenant, customer-traffic-bearing environments (EKS or similar managed platforms preferred). You know it deeply, from autoscaling and admission control to GitOps, workload identity, and fleet-wide cluster upgrades. - You combine depth with breadth. Beyond Kubernetes, you have working fluency in networking and edge and in stateful data systems, and you understand how a decision in one layer affects the rest. - You have made reliability a standard, not a project. You defined SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, and you got multiple teams to adopt them. You have improved incident response, post-incident learning, and disaster recovery across an organization, not just on your own team. - You have cut cloud costs through engineering. You can show measurable, real-dollar impact from work such as capacity automation, right-sizing, architecture changes, or commitment strategy, and you have worked with finance on forecasting and tradeoffs. - You build security in by design. You have driven practices such as workload identity, least-privilege IAM and RBAC, credential rotation, and strong isolation in multi-tenant environments, and you have partnered with security teams on risk decisions and compliance requirements. - You still build. You are proficient in Go (or a similar language) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and you have a track record of automating complex, high-toil operational workflows at fleet scale. - You influence without relying on authority. You write clear strategy and design documents, present to senior leaders, resolve technical disagreements between teams, and build alignment on difficult tradeoffs. - You grow other engineers. You have mentored Senior and Staff engineers, raised the bar on design review, and helped shape how your organization hires and evaluates technical talent. Bonus points for: - Hands-on experience with service mesh and service-to-service networking, such as Linkerd or Amazon VPC Lattice. - Experience operating scalable database technology, such as MySQL, Postgres, or DynamoDB. - Designing developer platform abstractions for internal teams, such as paved-road service toolkits and production readiness frameworks, that measurably improved usability and productivity. - Helping build AI-assisted operations tools, such as auto-remediation or AI-assisted diagnosis, rather than only using them. - Operating highly available, multi-region services in a large SaaS environment, including capacity planning and performance optimization at scale. - Experience in a security, identity, or other high-trust product environment. What you can expect: - Set the multi-year technical strategy and architecture for Infrastructure Services, working with directors and senior engineering leadership to shape roadmap and investment decisions, including build versus buy. - Define the patterns, standards, and guardrails across compute, network and edge, and stateful services that internal teams depend on for years. - Represent Infrastructure Services in cross-organization reviews with product engineering, security, and finance, and serve as the senior technical voice for the platform. - Serve as an escalation point for major incidents, and drive organization-wide improvements to incident management, reliability targets, and disaster recovery. - Lead cost, capacity, and efficiency strategy for our cloud footprint, with measurable goals. - Drive adoption of automation and AI-assisted operations to reduce toil across the organization. - Mentor Staff and Senior engineers, raise the bar on design review and engineering practice, and help us hire and develop the next generation of infrastructure leaders. USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $230,000 USD and $334,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $202,000 CAD and $293,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set. This posting is for an existing vacancy. Our culture At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first. You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results. How we work with AI We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password. This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others. Our approach to remote work We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events. What we offer We believe in working hard, and rewarding that hard work through our benefits. While not an exhaustive list, here is a glance at what we currently offer: Health and wellbeing 👶 Maternity and parental leave top-up programs 🩺 Competitive health benefits 🏝 Generous PTO policy Growth and future 📈 RSU program for most employees 💸 Retirement matching program 🔑 Free 1Password account Community 🤝 Paid volunteer days 🏆 Peer-to-peer recognition through Bonusly 🌎 Remote-first work environment *Some roles in our GTM team are currently being hired for in-person hybrid work in Toronto and Austin. These roles will specify on the posting. You belong here. 1Password is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse and equitable workplace that is built on trust, support and respect. We welcome all individuals and do not discriminate on the basis of gender identity and expression, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, colour, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, marital status, pregnancy, sex, citizenship, education, languages spoken or veteran status. Be yourself, find your people and share the things you love. Accommodation is available upon request at any point during our recruitment process. Location: Belgrade; London; Berlin Workplace: Hybrid Perplexity is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to advance how AI systems search, reason, and work together to solve complex problems. Our work spans search and retrieval, LLM post-training, multi-agent training, and the harnesses that make these systems effective. We control the full stack: the models, the agent harnesses, and the search infrastructure underneath. That gives us the freedom to develop new approaches across all three training models to use search more effectively, designing tools and execution environments around learned behavior, and improving retrieval to support how agents actually work. RESPONSIBILITIES - Push search and agent quality forward through improvements to models, training data, tools, and system design. - Develop LLM post-training methods, including reinforcement learning, to improve reasoning, search, tool use, and task completion. - Train and evaluate multi-agent systems, exploring how agents divide work, share information, and coordinate effectively. - Design and build agent harnesses around the tools, context management, execution environments, and orchestration that support reliable work over many steps. - Improve retrieval and ranking models and the search interfaces agents use to find and assess information. - Build datasets, reward signals, and evaluations that expose meaningful failures and guide improvements. - Own experiments end to end, from a clear hypothesis to scalable training, deployment, and measurable gains in quality, latency, and cost. - Collaborate with AI, Search, Infrastructure, Data, and Product teams to bring new capabilities into production. QUALIFICATIONS - A strong track record of building and shipping ML systems, with deep experience in one or more of LLM post-training, reinforcement learning, search and retrieval, or agent systems. - Strong software engineering skills and the ability to work across model training, experimentation infrastructure, and production systems. - Experience designing rigorous evaluations, diagnosing failures, and translating experimental results into practical improvements. - Comfort with open-ended problems that require both research judgment and hands-on engineering. - A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and the drive to carry an idea through to a working system.
