RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build n8n's Deal Desk function from scratch, AI- and automation-first: intake, approval workflow, and pricing guardrails.
- Advise Sales on deal structure and pricing to protect margin without slowing down the sales cycle.
- Maintain a simple set of discount and pricing rules that Sales can apply on their own, without escalating every deal.
- Run a monthly and quarterly deal war room to keep deal velocity high, especially around month-end and quarter-end close.
- Handle contract redlines and non-standard terms directly, keeping most negotiations out of Legal's hands.
- Build a redline clause library of accepted and rejected language, so AI can suggest fallback terms on routine deals.
- Automate approvals and quoting in CPQ, and use AI to triage incoming requests and flag which deal changes actually need re-approval.
- Own Salesforce data quality and executed-contract hygiene for every deal.
- Support Customer Success on non-standard renewal and expansion structuring.
- Coordinate security and compliance requests (DPA, SOC 2, security addenda) between Sales, Security, and Legal.
- Report monthly on deal desk performance: cycle time, discounting, and exceptions.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 📈 Deal desk knowledge: You have in-depth experience developing and operating a deal desk function, not just executing a process someone else fully designed.
- 📐 SaaS commercial fluency: You have a strong understanding of SaaS pricing models, revenue recognition and ARR reporting principles, and enterprise contract structures.
- ⚖️ Contract negotiation and redlining: You can negotiate and redline order-form-level terms directly with a customer and know when to involve Legal.
- 🛠️ CPQ/ Salesforce hands-on: You've configured and operated both a CPQ and Salesforce yourself, not just used what someone else set up.
- 🤖 AI-native working style: You default to AI and automation in your own work, with concrete examples of deal or approval workflows you've automated.
- 🤝 Stakeholder management: You have outstanding communication skills and can influence and manage complex stakeholders such as Sales, Legal, RevOps, and Finance.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🏗️ 0-to-1 builder: You've spun up a deal desk or similar function from the ground up, defining the underlying processes and policies yourself.
- 🔧 Modern CPQ/billing exposure: You've worked with Salesforce CPQ or modern platforms like Hyperline or Solvimon.
- 🧩 Product curiosity: You're curious about n8n and ideally have already successfully built a workflow.
n8n is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
We can sponsor visas to Germany; for any other country, you need to have existing right to work.

✨ ONE PLATFORM, A WHOLE WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY
The best jobs have always clustered in a handful of the world's wealthiest cities. But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere.
We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time
- Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek
- A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance
- The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023
Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.
Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires at least 3-4 hours of overlap with Central European Time (CET/CEST) business hours to support collaboration with the team.

You'll also contribute to the strategic development of our employment-as-a-platform model.

Knowledge of immigration rules and employee benefits is a plus. Beyond legal expertise, we're looking for someone who translates complex issues into clear, practical guidance for non-legal audiences, balancing compliance with pragmatic problem-solving, anticipating emerging risks, and partnering strategically with the business to deliver outcomes that are both legally sound and operationally effective.
We also value candidates who embrace AI and other technology tools to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and scale the impact of their legal expertise.
Key Responsibilities

- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments globally, assess their impact on Oyster's products and operations, and drive implementation of required changes.
- Partner closely with Product, People team and other cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement compliant employment solutions that balance legal requirements with business objectives.
- Advise on a broad range of employment law and compliance matters across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, compensation, leave, performance management, terminations.
- Support strategic initiatives such as Direct Expansion, indirect-to-direct migrations, and the launch of new employment products and features.
- Research complex employment law issues and translate legal analysis into clear, practical, and business-focused recommendations.
- Develop and maintain employment guides, knowledge resources, and compliance documentation to support scalable operations across Oyster's global footprint.
- Support labor inspections, audits, regulatory inquiries, and other employment compliance initiatives.
- Use data, stakeholder feedback, and operational insights to identify risks, improve processes, and enhance the effectiveness of Oyster's employment compliance framework.
- Identify and champion opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and process innovation to improve team efficiency, reduce manual work, and enable the scalable delivery of employment compliance and legal support.
- Contribute to a highly collaborative, remote-first team culture and help drive continuous improvement across Employment Products.
Core Requirements
- Law Degree (e.g. JD or equivalent) and admission to practice law in one or more jurisdictions.
- 4+ years of experience practicing employment law, preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house practice.
- Deep expertise in employment law, including hands-on experience with standard employment processes: drafting and reviewing contracts, managing templates and policies, advising across a wide range of employment matters and interpreting local labor regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Understanding of the EOR model and ability to anticipate and navigate its unique legal challenges; prior experience working with or within an EOR is preferred.
- Experience managing multi-jurisdictional and/or cross-border employment matters, with the ability to work across diverse legal systems and regulatory environments.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to distill complex legal concepts into clear, practical, and actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders; creativity and pragmatism in risk mitigation are essential.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and research skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for engineers to join the team building Spark, a lightweight implementation of Supabase written in Rust. It runs on an embedded SQLite-based engine with a Postgres-compatible SQL layer, and ships a PostgREST and Auth compatible API, so applications written against @supabase/supabase-js work as-is. It exists because AI builders and platform partners need a database they can give to every prototype without the cost or the wait: sub-second provisioning, a footprint small enough to run inside a sandbox, and an upgrade path to full Supabase when an app graduates to production.
This is a role with a lot of agency. Small team, working product, patterns still to be set. You'll own large areas end to end and make real decisions from day one.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
In this role, you'll:
- Grow API compatibility with the Supabase client, keeping behavior faithful to hosted Supabase and backed by conformance tests
- Bring more of the Supabase stack to Turso/SQLite
- Find and work around gaps in the underlying database engine, with minimal repros and tests
- Build and harden the path for upgrading a project from Spark to full Supabase
- Own the developer experience end to end: the CLI, local tooling, and docs
- Build and harden the hosted offering while keeping the low cost structure in mind, kept loosely coupled so the implementation can be swapped without a rewrite
- Work directly with design partners and turn real-world migration and integration friction into a sharper product
- Engage with the open-source community and contribute back to the broader Supabase stack
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Have substantial backend or full-stack experience with strong fluency in Rust, have shipped production Rust, and have built or contributed to a backend system, framework, or developer platform before
- Are a strong generalist, comfortable moving across the stack from API design to storage internals to infrastructure, and picking up whatever the problem needs
- Read unfamiliar code without friction. A lot of the work means studying reference implementations in other languages, such as GoTrue in Go, PostgREST in Haskell, and matching their behavior in Rust
- Have a solid grounding in SQL and relational databases, experience working close to a database engine (transactions, MVCC, type systems), and the curiosity to dig into where Postgres and SQLite differ
- Know Postgres well enough to use it as the reference for correct behavior
- Have run services under tight resource limits (multi-tenant, serverless, or embedded)
- Have a bias toward compatibility and correctness, and reach for tests and specs to prove behavior
- Think around corners. When everyone reaches for the standard playbook, you look for the simpler path that fits a smaller box. You break a complex system down to the 20% that covers 80% of the need, then make it run somewhere far smaller than it was designed for
- Care about developer experience: clean APIs, fast feedback loops, and tooling that makes the right thing the easy thing
- Are comfortable owning ambiguous, early-stage work and making sound calls that inform and define the spec. This is a founding role on a brand-new team
- Are comfortable working in public repositories on a remote, async team
- Communicate clearly in writing
- Bonus: experience with the Supabase stack, building developer CLIs, a track record of open-source maintenance, or contributions to Rust database or web projects
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits
Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.
- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.
- ~400 team members
- 60+ countries
- 20+ languages spoken
- Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F)
- 540,000+ community members
We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.
Responsibilities
— Own the Czech market as the first local salesperson, across all customer segments.
— Work with the base of direct contacts (existing clients and warm leads): develop, close and reactivate.
— Handle inbound: qualify quickly, run discovery, and convert interest into paying customers.
— Drive outbound to larger and high-potential accounts through cold outreach, own network and industry communities.
— Run the full sales cycle end to end — prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, close — and own the number.
— Be the voice of the market: systematically gather customer needs, objections and pain points and feed them to product and marketing to tailor the offering to Czechia.
— Test and iterate positioning, messaging and channels to find what resonates with Czech buyers.
— Temporarily provide light customer-success care to the clients signed, until a dedicated CS person is in place (with a small servicing bonus).
— Keep the CRM clean and share regular insight on pipeline, win/loss reasons and market signals.
What we're looking for
— Czech at native or near-native level (C2), spoken and written — daily conversations, calls and written correspondence in Czech.
— Strong Czech-speaking Slovak candidates are also welcome.
— Working English for internal communication.
— Senior experience in B2B / SaaS sales (or strong service sales), with a hunter mindset.
— A self-starter who can grow a market and bring product feedback from the field.
What we offer
— Base salary of EUR 2,000/month (Net).
— On-target earnings from EUR 4,000/month with no upper cap — commission-based reflecting real sales performance.
— Official employment in Hungary (Altegio Europe KFT).
— Budapest-based; relocation considered — a relocation package is available for the right candidate.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
Render's mission is to eliminate the undifferentiated work that goes into building software products by offering an easy-to-use, powerful cloud platform for developer teams of all sizes.
We are building out a Object Storage team to build and maintain a object storage product for our millions of users. This is a very early stage product, so we’re looking for people who have built this out before and can evolve object storage over time. While we are starting with basics, we expect our customer’s needs will continue to evolve and the product needs will as well.
User experience is our primary focus and drives everything we do. As a product engineer at Render, you will take complete, end-to-end ownership of full stack projects. You should already have experience building a storage platform.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Operate and maintain the object storage fleet.
- Collaborate closely with design, product, other engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Help evolve and mature the Render storage product as it scales and increases in complexity over time.
- Participate in team planning, roadmapping, and goal-setting.

We do this with courage to innovate, commitment to outcomes, collaboration across 50+ nationalities and 7 markets, and a customer-led approach that puts real people first. Add a desire to win – and you get a culture that's ambitious, fast-moving, and built on trust.
Our brands – including AutoTrader, OLX, Otomoto Property24, and more – are loved by millions. And we're backed by Prosus, one of the world's largest tech investors.
Join OLX and see how far you can go.
This role will be based in Poland, and you need to be residing in the country already.
As an Engineering Manager, you'll lead software engineers building and scaling critical platforms that power the OLX engineering ecosystem. You'll combine strong people leadership with enough technical depth to guide major projects, shape technical direction, and help the team solve complex platform challenges.
This is not a generalist Engineering Manager role. Previous experience leading an engineering team in a Platform environment is mandatory. We need someone who understands what it means to build platforms for other engineers and the unique challenges that come with balancing developer experience, reliability, scalability, standardisation, and team autonomy.
You'll capture requirements, shape ambitious but balanced project scope, lead technical initiatives, and partner across teams to solve technical problems and ensure smooth adoption and implementation of platform solutions. Our Platform environment is a mix of software engineering, APIs, distributed systems, infrastructure, DevOps, scalability, and reliability.
We're looking for someone who can operate at both levels: developing people and leading a Platform team, while providing the technical and organisational leadership needed to make the platform successful.
What you will be doing:
Lead by example and manage a team of talented engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and career development support;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science and data engineering managers, and product managers to define project goals, scope, and deliverables;
Drive the end-to-end development process, from design to implementation and deployment, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions (with controlled cost);
Identify and prioritize technical initiatives, considering ROI, scalability, and performance requirements;
Implement modern software development practices, including agile methodologies, continuous integration, and deployment, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery;
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the platform meets customer needs and provides an exceptional user experience;
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What you have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
Track record of proven people management experience (3+ years) focused on developing and growing people;
5+ years of professional experience in software development.
Proven experience in designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic systems;
Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Streaming architectures);
Strong knowledge of data structures, and software design patterns;
Good understanding and ideally successful application of AI/ML;
Experience with modern software development practices, such as agile methodologies, continuous integration, and deployment;
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Our benefits:
Monthly salary and an annual bonus (20%)
Training and conference budget, and free access to Udemy courses
A benefits package with 300 points on the Mybenefit platform per month, private medical care provided by Luxmed, Ask Henry services, and much more
IP rights’ costs - 60%
100% remote work (as well as the possibility of working from our offices in Poznan and Warsaw)
At OLX, we unlock value in our people. We invest in ourselves and each other to reach our full potential. We avoid bureaucracy and empower our teams to innovate; with opportunities, training and leadership behaviors a focus for all. Our commitment to inclusion ensures we listen to a diverse range of voices when making decisions. And, we combine the spirit and agility of a startup with our global scale and the backing of Prosus, one of the largest consumer internet groups in the world.
We also unlock value for our stakeholders. We are proud of the positive contribution we make to our planet, by enabling more conscious consumption and helping the world make the most of its limited resources through more efficient trade.
And last but not least, we love to unlock value for our customers. Every single month, over 300 million people use our platforms to easily, safely, and conveniently find their perfect home, buy or sell a car, find a great job, sell things they no longer need, or strike a great deal on something they need. And we help thousands of entrepreneurs and businesses find their customers too.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at OLX
OLX values diversity and welcomes applicants of all races, ethnicities, disabilities, ages, genders, sexual orientations, religions, backgrounds, and experiences to apply. If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet all the requirements - you may be just the right fit for this or other opportunities with us!
OLX will process your personal data to assess your fit for the applied position. You may optionally consent to store your data for up to 12 months after the application process for consideration in future OLX roles. We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
The Opportunity
Grafana's Demand Generation team creates and accelerates pipeline across the full customer journey. We run a modern, AI-forward operation: lifecycle email programs driven by an AI engine, territory-level buying signals surfaced directly to sales leaders, and agentic workflows that handle work that used to take teams of specialists.
Our webinar program is one of the highest-leverage things we run: technical, practitioner-first sessions on a weekly cadence across AMER, EMEA, APAC and LATAM, putting the product in front of the people who would actually use it. Hands-on sessions, not sales pitches.
We're hiring a Webinar Program Manager to own it. This is a specialist seat, not a generalist one. You'll inherit an established program with a documented process and a full handover from the person who built it, and you'll own the operating rhythm from there: the calendar, the presenters, the build and promotion of every session, the follow-up, and the reporting.
This is not a "run the playbook" role. Sessions run in parallel at a pace no one could manage by hand, so the way to raise quality is to keep automating the mechanics. We expect this person to build with AI as a default and treat automation as a first-class deliverable, not a side project.
You'd be joining a demand gen team that is genuinely rebuilding how the function works, where AI agents run real production programs and the people on the team design the machine rather than turn the crank. The webinar program already produces, and much of the pipeline it touches starts with a session rather than a seller. You're not here to prove webinars matter. You're here to make each one produce more with less manual work behind it.
What You'll Be Doing
Own the webinar calendar end to end.
Presenter booking, registration pages, campaign setup, promotion, live delivery, follow-up, and the flip to on-demand, across multiple regions and time zones.
Keep sessions practitioner-first.
Brief technical presenters, shape the outline, and keep a session useful to the audience that registered for it.
Bring data to topic planning.
Use past performance and downstream pipeline quality to recommend what we run and what we retire, and lock the plan with demand gen and product marketing each quarter.
Automate the production line.
Extend the automation behind session setup and promotion, and keep pushing into the parts of the process a person shouldn't be doing by hand, including repurposing recordings into other content.
Report
on what happens after the session. Registrations are the input. Connect sessions to product adoption and pipeline, report it honestly, and flag what isn't producing.
Grow the program's reach.
Expand into additional languages and formats where the numbers justify it.
What Makes You a Great Fit
4+ years in demand generation, event marketing, or lifecycle marketing at a B2B software company (open source or developer-focused a plus).
Hands-on ownership of a recurring webinar or virtual event calendar across multiple regions. A cadence you were accountable for hitting, not a handful of one-off sessions.
Hands-on with a webinar platform (ON24, Zoom Webinars, Contrast, Goldcast or similar) and the plumbing behind it: CRM campaigns, registration sync, attendance data, follow-up triggers.
Comfortable working with technical presenters. You can brief an engineer or solutions architect and hold the line on what the audience came for.
Hands-on with AI in your actual work: you've built automations or agentic workflows (or are visibly on that path), and you think about AI as leverage, not a threat or a buzzword.
Comfortable with data: you can pull your own numbers, sanity-check them, and build a program readout a VP would trust.
Strong program management fundamentals. Twenty-plus moving pieces at once is a logistics job before it's a marketing job, and you ship on time without needing a coordinator.
Bonus Points For
Content repurposing at scale: clips, blog, social, on-demand libraries.
Localized program experience, and a view on when translation earns its cost.
Familiarity with the observability, monitoring or open source ecosystem.
Customer.io, Salesforce and a modern data stack (BigQuery or similar).
Experience with product-led motions alongside sales-led ones.

How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
- Strong experience building backend services in a modern language (e.g. Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python)
- Deep experience with React and/or TypeScript in customer-facing web applications.
- Ability to operate autonomously, drive initiatives forward, and influence technical direction across teams.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a growth mindset and a bias toward continuous improvement.

- Partner closely with product, design, and data to refine hypotheses, define measurable outcomes, and interpret results.
- Balance rapid iteration with long-term architectural health and security.
- Set an example in code reviews by evaluating code quality, architectural alignment, performance, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and pairing.
- See your work directly influence measurable customer and business outcomes.
Bonus points for:
- Security experience with understanding of security-focused development practices, threat modeling, and building systems that handle sensitive data
- Experience working with containerized services and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Experience working with transactional email systems at scale, including ESPs and SMTP relays such as Amazon SES and SendGrid.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $153,000 USD and $214,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $144,000 CAD and $202,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
Our approach to remote work
We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events.

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
We are seeking a Senior Developer on our Open Source Team, focused on strengthening 1Password's open source posture and making our developer tools easy to use directly inside developers' workflows through agentic IDE integrations: our Agent Hooks and IDE plugins. You'll serve as a technical leader on the team, owning architectural decisions and driving cohesive execution on medium-to-large projects, from initial planning through development and into customer support.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- Significant professional software development experience, with a track record of independently owning and delivering medium-to-large technical projects end to end.
- Advanced, hands-on command of a modern development toolchain (Git, IDEs, terminal, debugging and testing tools) and the languages relevant to the team's work; comfortable reading, writing, and reviewing others' code.
- Experience designing extensible, maintainable systems, ideally developer tooling, IDE extensions, agent integrations, or actively maintained open source projects.
- Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and make architectural decisions that keep products scalable, secure, and high quality.
- A track record of working effectively in public, engaging with external contributors and upholding a high quality bar in community-facing repositories.
- Interest in agent-assisted development and building tools to make agent-assisted development smoother and more secure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make a project's impact and progress visible to engineering, product, and design stakeholders.
- A security-minded approach consistent with 1Password's principles.
Bonus points for:
- Experience maintaining a popular open source project or running open source community engagement.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled or agentic IDEs (e.g., Cursor) and the emerging agent-hook ecosystem.
- Experience contributing to an Open Source Program Office (OSPO) or similar function.
What you can expect:
- Contribute large new features, significant product improvements, and critical bug fixes, such as extending our Agent Hooks across IDEs or building genuine in-IDE value beyond links to external docs.
- Make architectural decisions that keep our integrations and public repositories scalable, secure, and aligned to 1Password's existing security and authentication models.
- Contribute to the team's roadmap by identifying technical opportunities and risks up to ~6 months out, then lead execution aligned to team objectives.
- Raise the quality bar by identifying lapses in code quality and gaps in testing coverage, anticipating and reporting potential problems, and fostering a high standard of documentation across community-facing repositories.
- Ensure alignment with cross-functional partners (Partnerships, Product, UX, and the SDK/CLI teams), translating requirements into actionable work.
- Drive initiatives that better support 1Password customers on your platform and mitigate issues developers face.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment by modeling best practices, providing constructive feedback, and supporting a sense of shared ownership.
