Job Summary
The Bugcrowd RL and Reasoning Team focuses on pushing the boundaries of autonomous cybersecurity by building authentic, verifiable reinforcement learning environments for world-leading foundational AI companies. As a Reinforcement Learning Engineer specializing in Reinforcement Learning from Verifiable Rewards (RLVR), you will design and scale automated verification pipelines that transform real-world software vulnerabilities into deterministic reward functions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between low-level security analysis and modern LLM reasoning models, engineering environments where AI agents learn to discover, exploit, and remediate software vulnerabilities with mathematical certainty. Instead of relying on subjective human feedback, your work directly powers the rigorous, verifiable reward signals that teach next-generation frontier AI models how to master complex cybersecurity domain logic. You will work at the intersection of fuzzing, dynamic program analysis, system exploitation, and scalable ML infrastructure to shape the safety and offensive/defensive capabilities of future artificial intelligence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy high-throughput RLVR (Reinforcement Learning from Verifiable Rewards) environments that evaluate LLM action sequences against deterministic execution outcomes.
Develop automated test harnesses, sandboxes, and verification engines that convert complex vulnerability research (e.g., memory corruption, web security, logic bugs) into binary pass/fail reward signals.
Integrate Bugcrowd’s Mayhem automated analysis platform and real-world vulnerability feeds into continuous, scalable RL environment generation pipelines.
Architect safe, isolated, and highly reproducible execution environments (using Docker, BuildKit, or Nix) capable of running thousands of simultaneous agent-driven exploitation and patching trajectories.
Collaborate directly with researchers at frontier AI labs including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Cohere to define standard benchmark formats, observation spaces, and verifiable evaluation metrics for cybersecurity tasks.
Implement precise telemetry, ground-truth verification algorithms, and trajectory logging to analyze agent reasoning paths and prevent reward hacking or false positives.
Build low-level instrumentation and debugging tools to monitor memory states, process executions, and network behaviors during agent interaction cycles.
Optimize infrastructure performance and environment reset latency to support massive-scale parallel sampling and distributed RL training workflows.
Benchmark and evaluate frontier AI model performance across diverse offensive and defensive security challenges, such as automated fuzzing, exploit payload generation, and patch validation.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understanding of RL training workflows used by modern LLM systems, specifically execution-based feedback or Reinforcement Learning from Verifiable Rewards (RLVR).
Proficiency developing applications in Python and low-level systems programming in C, with Rust experience being a strong plus.
Solid understanding of software vulnerabilities, binary exploitation, fuzzing methodologies, or program analysis.
Experience with DevOps pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), reproducible builds (Docker, BuildKit, Nix), and comfort working with Linux systems and low-level debugging.
Experience working with or building benchmark environments (e.g., CTFs, SWE-bench, security challenges, or execution sandboxes).
Preferred Experience
Experience designing custom reward functions, ground-truth verifiers, or automated grading engines for AI safety and reasoning models.
Background in low-level program analysis tools, sanitizers (e.g., ASan/MSan), compiler instrumentation, or automated exploit generation tools.
Proven track record of participating in or developing competitive cybersecurity benchmarks, CTFs, or open-source AI evaluation frameworks.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Sitting and / or standing - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Carrying and / or lifting - Must be able to carry / move laptop as needed throughout the work day.
Environment - remote, work-from-home 100% of the time.

RevenueCat gives app businesses the infrastructure and tools to build, run, and improve their monetization. Since graduating from YC's S18 batch, we've grown into the default monetization platform for mobile.
We're in 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $16B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo developer to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.
We're a remote-first team of 150+ people across 25+ countries, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance.
This isn't the right fit for everyone. The systems you’ll build here manage billions of dollars and touch hundreds of millions of end users, and we don’t take that lightly. You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading.
The role
We’re looking for a GTM Operations Manager to build and improve the workflows that connect our go-to-market teams.
A promising account signs up. Does the right person find out, with enough context to act? A customer becomes eligible for a new product. Do they receive useful guidance? A data sync fails overnight. Do we catch it before it affects a campaign, account handoff, or business decision?
You’ll help make those things work reliably.
You’ll join an existing GTM Operations team, working closely with @Nathan Bellehsen on Salesforce and Sales systems and @Masha Tsaryk on Marketing and customer-lifecycle systems. Your initial focus will be lead handoffs and lifecycle execution: the data, automation, quality checks, and reporting that turn customer signals into useful action.
This is a hands-on individual-contributor role. You’ll own agreed projects from understanding the problem through building, testing, rollout, and ongoing improvement. Experienced teammates will provide context, help set priorities, and partner with you on architectural decisions. Within that direction, we expect you to make progress independently and flag problems early.
Our stack includes Salesforce, Customer.io http://Customer.io, Clay, Looker, automation tools, and a growing set of AI workflows. You don’t need to know every tool. You do need to understand how systems connect and enjoy figuring out why something isn’t working.
Why we’re hiring for this role now
RevenueCat’s GTM organization is growing across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Growth. We’re developing more deliberate ways to identify promising accounts, help customers adopt our products, and turn successful one-to-one work into programs that reach many more people.
Our operations team already supports the systems behind that work. We need more capacity to take important workflows from “this could work” to something dependable that people use every day.
You’ll help us ship those improvements while making the existing operation easier to run: fewer manual handoffs, clearer ownership, more trustworthy data, and less time spent solving the same problem twice.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Own selected GTM workflows end-to-end. Translate a business problem into a practical solution, agree how success will be measured, build and test it, and stay responsible after launch.
- Make lead and account handoffs dependable. Build and improve enrichment, qualification, routing, alerts, and follow-up visibility. Help ensure important signals reach a named owner, and make missed or failed handoffs visible.
- Put lifecycle programs into production. Partner with Marketing and Customer Growth on audience definitions, triggers, exclusions, data syncs, campaign QA, and measurement. Turn repeatable requests into workflows and templates teammates can use.
- Keep data connected and usable. Trace how account, contact, and product-usage data moves between systems. Investigate stale records, duplicates, mismatched relationships, and failed syncs; fix what you can and work with the relevant system or Data owner on deeper issues.
- Build automation that holds up in everyday use. Test realistic scenarios and edge cases, monitor failures, and make it clear how to recover when something breaks. Bring consequential changes to the relevant system owner before rollout.
- Use AI where it improves the work. Build or improve workflows for tasks such as enrichment, research, qualification, and quality checks. Evaluate the output, understand the failure modes, and measure whether the result saves time or improves quality.
- Make what you build understandable and useful. Document your workflows, enable the people using them, gather feedback, and improve adoption. Share knowledge so another teammate can operate and troubleshoot your work. Keep documentation current as workflows change, and fill gaps in the existing processes you take on.
- Make operational performance visible. Build and maintain reports that help teams understand workflow health, handoff gaps, campaign execution, and adoption. Work with senior Ops teammates and Data on consistent definitions.
What you’ll need to be successful
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in GTM, revenue, marketing, sales, or customer operations.
- Practical Salesforce experience. You understand objects, relationships, fields, flows, and how data moves through the system. You have built or changed things yourself.
- Experience building in a marketing automation platform such as Customer.io http://Customer.io, HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, or Iterable, including segmentation, triggers, and integrations.
- Experience building something useful with AI. You can explain the problem, your contribution, how you checked the result, what failed, and what you changed. A sanitized walkthrough is welcome; we don’t expect confidential work from a previous employer.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical judgment. You can trace a problem across systems, check your assumptions against data, and distinguish a symptom from its cause.
- Ownership and follow-through. You can take an agreed problem, work through ambiguity, communicate tradeoffs, and deliver without needing every step assigned.
- Clear written communication. You keep stakeholders informed, document decisions, and explain technical problems in language others can act on.
- Care for the details. You think about the wrong audience, missing record, duplicate trigger, or failed handoff before it becomes someone else’s problem.
- Learning agility and adaptability. You can transfer what you know to unfamiliar tools and adjust your plan when priorities change, while keeping commitments and stakeholders informed.
Ideally, you
- Have worked in a product-led or usage-based business with both self-service and Sales-assisted customers.
- Have connected CRM, marketing automation, customer-success, or product-usage systems.
- Can use SQL, APIs, webhooks, or lightweight scripts to investigate data and connect tools.
- Have improved adoption of an internal tool or replaced repeated manual work with a maintained workflow.
- Have supported customer onboarding, product adoption, lifecycle education, or account-coverage programs.
What success looks like
Within the first month, you’ll:
- Learn how customers move through RevenueCat and how our GTM teams support them.
- Map an initial workflow with @Nathan Bellehsen and @Masha Tsaryk, including its data sources, owners, dependencies, and common failure points.
- Ship your first useful improvement as part of RevenueCat’s “first ship” tradition.
- Agree your initial ownership area and a prioritized set of problems to solve.
Within the first three months, you’ll:
- Own the day-to-day operation of an agreed set of lead and/or lifecycle workflows.
- Deliver an improvement from scoping through rollout, with clear documentation and stakeholder feedback.
- Establish baseline measures and monitoring for the workflows you own.
- Give another teammate enough context to support your work when you’re away.
Within the first six months, you’ll:
- Demonstrate measurable improvement in a core workflow, such as fewer missed handoffs, faster campaign delivery, fresher data, or less manual effort.
- Turn recurring operational requests into reusable processes.
- Show that the people your workflows serve are using them successfully, and improve what isn’t working.
Within the first twelve months, you’ll:
- Independently deliver projects across systems within your areas of ownership.
- Have a track record of reliable workflows, useful automation, and improvements that make GTM teams more effective.
- Help shape the next priorities using evidence from users, operational performance, and customer needs.
- Be developing deeper expertise and taking on progressively more complex work.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator
- 10-year window to exercise vested equity options
- A fully remote environment designed around autonomy and flexibility
- 4-5 weeks of flexible time off annually
- Paid desk at a co-working space
- Workspace budget and continuous learning stipend

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's customer-facing teams are often the first place a customer sees what Claude can do. As a Demo Engineer, you'll build the demos, reference implementations, and reusable tooling that help those teams make new capabilities tangible, relevant, and trustworthy, ideally within days of a product launch rather than weeks after.
This role sits between product engineering, technical storytelling, and GTM execution. You'll own ambiguous, high-leverage problems end to end: prototyping an agentic experience for a new capability, then hardening it into something reliable that other teams can run on their own. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and our sales and solutions teams, and you'll bring what you learn from customer-facing work back to the people building the products.
Because a demo is frequently someone's first impression of what our models can and can't do, accuracy and honesty matter as much as polish. Success in this role looks like customer-facing teams demonstrating new capabilities sooner and with more confidence, recurring requests becoming reusable assets rather than one-off projects, and field insights shaping product and launch-readiness decisions.
Responsibilities
Own demo readiness for new and priority Claude capabilities, including environments, integrations, synthetic data, evaluations, reliability checks, and fallback paths
Build prototypes, agents, and reference flows that make complex capabilities concrete and tie them to clear customer outcomes
Turn recurring requests into reusable accelerators such as companion apps, templates, Skills, plugins, and self-service demo packages that scale across customer-facing teams
Partner with GTM colleagues on high-impact customer moments, unblock critical technical gaps, and spot the patterns worth turning into shared assets
Build internal agentic systems that automate demo preparation, validation, and asset maintenance, so demos stay current as products change
Translate patterns from customer-facing work into product feedback, launch-readiness priorities, and systemic improvements with Product and Engineering
Define and raise the bar for demo quality across accuracy, safety, reliability, usability, and adoption
Decide when a customer need calls for a bespoke build and when it should become a shared capability
You may be a good fit if you have
Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience shipping working software end to end
Hands-on experience building applications or agents on top of LLM APIs, including prompting, tool use, and retrieval
Experience designing integrations with third-party APIs, data sources, and services
The ability to take an ambiguous capability or customer need to a working prototype quickly, and then make it reliable
Clear communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including sales and solutions teams
Comfort collaborating across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and GTM teams
Experience in a demo engineering, solutions engineering, sales engineering, forward deployed engineering, developer relations, or product engineering role
A track record of building reusable internal tools, templates, or self-service assets that other teams adopted
Hands-on experience with Claude Code, the Claude Agent SDK, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Skills, or plugins
Experience building evaluation or validation harnesses for AI systems, including reliability checks and graceful fallbacks
Experience building always-on or scheduled agentic systems that automate internal workflows
Experience building synthetic or sanitized datasets that make demos realistic without exposing sensitive information
Front-end or product design skills that help demos feel polished and intuitive
Experience supporting product launches or running launch-readiness programs
A history of turning field feedback into concrete product input that influenced a roadmap
A passion for making powerful technology safe and beneficial, and a commitment to representing model capabilities accurately and honestly

Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

An overview of this role
This is an overnight shift role with working hours of 12:00am - 7:00am EST.
As a Support Engineer on our U.S. Government Support Engineering team, you operate at the critical intersection of Support and Engineering, enabling public sector organizations and United States government agencies to run GitLab in some of the most secure and constrained environments in the world. Your work directly supports national security missions, including customers operating within FedRAMP-authorized, air-gapped, and classified or semi-classified environments where traditional troubleshooting approaches are not always possible.
In this role, you will engage deeply with GitLab through the command line; analyzing logs, system behavior, and application performance with strong Linux fundamentals and an understanding of how GitLab’s components interact end-to-end. You may partner with Product and Engineering to reproduce and document edge-case defects using sanitized or redacted data, or contribute directly to the product by opening merge requests that resolve customer-impacting issues. Beyond resolving individual cases, you’ll help strengthen GitLab by improving documentation, support workflows, and institutional knowledge, ensuring that lessons learned in highly regulated environments benefit the broader platform; all while working in a fully remote, highly collaborative environment built on trust, autonomy, and shared ownership.
Some examples of our projects:
A tool to quickly analyze strace output

About the team
At GitLab Federal, LLC, the U.S. Government Support Engineering team partners with public sector organizations and United States government agencies to support GitLab in highly secure, mission-critical environments. Our work directly enables national security outcomes, supporting customers across the Intelligence Community, Department of War, and other federal, state, and local government entities operating within regulated and restricted boundaries.
We are embedded within Support Engineering and work closely with Product, Development, Infrastructure, Customer Success, and Sales to solve complex, high-impact technical challenges. Our team frequently dives into code, logs, and architectural behavior to understand not just what is failing, but why; especially in environments with sanitized data, limited visibility, and strict compliance controls such as FedRAMP. We collaborate asynchronously across time zones and through structured pairing and discussion to share knowledge, strengthen solutions, and continuously improve how GitLab supports secure, air-gapped, and regulated deployments, while upholding GitLab's standards for rigor, transparency, and technical excellence.
