We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
About the role
We are looking for a versatile corporate and regulatory lawyer to join Cohere’s Legal team. Reporting to our Senior Governance Counsel, this role will support a global portfolio of corporate governance, entity and intercompany matters, together with cross-border regulatory, trade and compliance workstreams.
This role is designed for a lawyer with a strong corporate foundation who has also developed meaningful regulatory and trade experience. You should be comfortable moving between different types of legal work including:
- supporting global corporate governance and entity matters, including subsidiary governance, entity establishment and restructuring, intercompany arrangements and delegated authorities;
- supporting cross-border regulatory workstreams, including foreign investment and national-security reviews, regulatory diligence and filing coordination;
- helping the business navigate export-control, sanctions and related compliance requirements; and
- supporting legal and regulatory issues arising from public-sector and regulated-market opportunities, particularly where sovereignty, procurement, security or other market-access requirements come into play.
You will work closely with colleagues across Legal, Finance, Tax, People, Security, Government Affairs and commercial teams, as well as with specialist external counsel in multiple jurisdictions. The role requires sound judgment, curiosity and the ability to take ownership of a workstream, identify when specialist advice is needed, and turn that advice into practical action.
What you’ll do
- Support Cohere’s global corporate governance and entity matters, including subsidiary governance, entity establishment and restructuring, board and shareholder matters, corporate approvals, delegated authorities, signing frameworks and ongoing entity maintenance.
- Support Cohere’s intercompany legal architecture, including intercompany agreements and other cross-border operating arrangements, working closely with Finance, Tax, People and local counsel to ensure Cohere’s entities are structured and operated appropriately across jurisdictions.
- Support cross-border regulatory workstreams, including foreign investment screening, national-security reviews, regulatory diligence, filing coordination and the implementation of regulatory commitments arising in connection with acquisitions, investments, restructurings and other significant matters.
- Support Cohere’s export-control, sanctions and related compliance matters, including coordinating specialist external advice and translating regulatory requirements into practical internal guidance, controls and documentation.
- Support legal and regulatory workstreams arising from public-sector and regulated-market opportunities, particularly where sovereignty, procurement, security or other market-access requirements need to be understood and operationalised.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and external counsel across jurisdictions, ensuring that legal and regulatory workstreams are appropriately scoped, progressed and implemented.
- Take ownership of matters within the role’s remit and help develop practical, scalable approaches as Cohere’s international footprint grows.
What we’re looking for
- A qualified lawyer with approximately 4–8 years of relevant experience, gained at a leading law firm, a sophisticated in-house legal team, or preferably a combination of both.
- A strong corporate and cross-border legal foundation, with experience across areas such as subsidiary governance, entity structuring and reorganisations, intercompany arrangements, delegated authorities, corporate approvals and other aspects of international corporate practice.
- Meaningful exposure to cross-border regulatory matters, particularly foreign investment screening, national-security reviews, export controls, sanctions, international trade or related corporate compliance issues. Deep specialism in any one of these areas is not required.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, including coordinating local and specialist external counsel and bringing different legal, regulatory and business inputs together into a coherent internal position.
- Strong judgment, range and commercial awareness, with the ability to get quickly up to speed on unfamiliar issues, identify what matters most and distinguish issues that can be handled internally from those requiring specialist advice.
- The ability to take ownership of an internal legal workstream, ask the right questions of specialist counsel, digest complex advice and translate it into clear, practical next steps for the business.
- Clear and practical communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Tax, People, Security, Government Affairs and commercial teams.
- A collaborative and pragmatic approach, with comfort moving between different subject areas and working across functions, jurisdictions and time zones.
- Experience in technology, AI or another regulated industry would be helpful, but is not essential.
- Exposure to public-sector, government-facing or regulated-market matters is a plus but is not a prerequisite.
Nice to have
- Experience in technology, AI, cloud or infrastructure, or another regulated industry.
- Experience supporting a multinational organisation with a growing international entity footprint, particularly where legal, tax, finance and operational considerations intersect.
- Exposure to public-sector, government-facing or regulated-market matters, including procurement, digital sovereignty, security, accreditation or related market-access requirements.
- Familiarity with North American, UK or EU regulatory frameworks relevant to cross-border technology businesses.
What success looks like
- You can move comfortably between corporate and regulatory matters, identify the core issue quickly and make progress even where the work does not fit neatly into a single legal category.
- You can take ownership of a complex cross-border workstream, bring together the right internal stakeholders and external advisers, and drive it through to a practical outcome.
- You know when specialist advice is needed, can frame the right questions for external counsel, and can turn complex advice into clear, actionable guidance for the business.
- You become a trusted execution partner across Cohere’s corporate governance and regulatory portfolio, taking meaningful ownership of workstreams and creating capacity for more strategic, cross-functional and government-facing work at the senior level.

About the Job:
AI-powered workflows are only as good as the customer data underneath them. LaunchDarkly helps engineering teams ship software faster and more safely through feature management, experimentation, and AI delivery tooling. As our GTM Data Governance Manager (MDM), you will set the rules that make our core customer data (accounts, contacts, subscriptions, and users) accurate, consistent, and trusted across Salesforce, our billing and finance systems, marketing automation, product usage data, and the data warehouse.
This is an individual contributor role with real ownership of the data model and its standards. You will partner with Data Engineering, GTM Systems, Finance Systems, Legal, and Security to put those standards into production. Your work is the foundation for reliable reporting, accurate territory and segmentation, clean pipeline attribution, and the AI workflows that depend on high-quality data.
Responsibilities:
Own the MDM roadmap and operating model for the account, contact, and organization hierarchy domains.
Define golden record rules: matching, merging, survivorship, and parent/child hierarchies across CRM, billing, product, and support systems.
Set data governance standards, including ownership, stewardship roles, definitions, and quality SLAs, in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success. Run the processes for onboarding new data sources, handling change requests, and managing lifecycle events such as mergers, acquisitions, and customer reorganizations.
Design and monitor data quality rules, scorecards, and dashboards covering completeness, accuracy, duplication, and timeliness. Drive remediation and report data health, risks, and progress to leadership with clear metrics and business impact.
Specify integration patterns and acceptance criteria across Salesforce, the data warehouse, and enrichment providers, and work with Data Engineering and GTM Systems to build them. Recommend build vs. buy for MDM, identity resolution, enrichment, and data quality tooling.
Provide trusted, well-documented data products for analytics and AI use cases. Act as the data owner with Legal and Security on PII handling, GDPR and CCPA requirements, retention, and access controls.
Who You'll Work With:
Data Engineering and GTM Systems build pipelines and Salesforce configuration. Legal and Security own privacy and security decisions, and you inform them as the data owner. You own the rules, standards, and acceptance criteria that tell everyone else what "correct" looks like.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in data management, data governance, data engineering, or analytics, including 2+ years leading MDM or data quality programs.
Hands-on experience designing match, merge, and survivorship rules and golden record or hierarchy models, with results you can describe.
Experience with Salesforce data models and CRM data quality at scale.
Experience building and operating a data governance framework: policies, stewardship models, and SLAs.
Ability to translate business needs into data requirements and explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
A track record of delivering cross-functional programs without direct authority.
Nice to Have
Experience at a B2B SaaS company with a product-led or hybrid sales motion, including mapping product users and workspaces to CRM accounts.
Familiarity with enrichment and firmographic data, entity matching approaches, and ML-assisted or LLM-assisted matching and cleansing.
Working knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and security frameworks such as SOC 2.

Advise account managers, accounting, and management on best practices to handle billing disputes
Negotiate with customers and carriers with an understanding of resolution levers available as per contractual terms and industry norms
Identify, analyze, and handle fraudulent misuse (such as Artificially Inflated Traffic) and billing errors (such as rate differences) with both vendors and customers
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of customer and vendor disputes from intake of disputes to initiating disputes, tracking progress, and ensuring timely, documented resolution

Dig into call and messaging data to identify why bills don’t match or find evidence of fraud
Build dashboards that communicate key metrics related to the lifecycle of disputes
Read contracts and interpret what should be the invoice versus what it is
Act as the primary point of contact to negotiate dispute resolutions, settlements, and payment terms in accordance with company practices
Partner closely with data analytics, engineering, and accounting to reconcile accounts
Qualifications
Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

Desired:
Understanding of the A2P SMS ecosystem, international traffic routing, international revenue share fraud (IRSF), artificially inflated traffic (AIT) and the ecosystem profit chains.
Understanding of industry standards with respect to AIT and fraud handling such as frameworks from i3forum, GSMA, MEF or ITW Global Leaders’ Forum.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Enterprise Trust & Governance team builds the control plane that lets the world’s largest organizations deploy Perplexity broadly and with confidence. Computer and our agents work across a growing share of our customers’ environments, tools, and models. For administrators, that makes precise, enforceable control essential: who can do what, with which data, through which agents, and within what usage limits. This team makes those controls easy to manage, reliable and consistent across every product, and transparent to the people accountable for them.
This is a product and platform engineering role with end-to-end ownership, from shaping the architecture and policy models to shipping the experiences our customers’ administrators and security teams use every day. You’ll work across product and infrastructure teams to turn complex enterprise requirements into reusable primitives and intuitive controls. The scope spans identity and provisioning, fine-grained role-based access across connectors, tool actions, and models, customer-managed encryption keys, admin APIs, audit logs, and policy and usage controls. Strong governance helps enterprises move from pilots to company-wide rollouts and gives them the confidence to entrust agents with greater responsibility over time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own enterprise identity and provisioning, including SSO (SAML/OIDC), SCIM, WorkOS integrations, and support for identity providers such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Build the permissions platform, with fine-grained roles and permissions for connectors, tool actions, models, and model effort levels, enforced consistently across products and agent workflows.
- Design and ship secure, well-documented admin APIs for audit logs, members, groups, roles, and settings.
- Build policy controls for model and feature availability, staged rollouts, model deprecations, usage and spend limits, alerts, and cost-center allocation.
- Build admin-facing analytics for adoption, usage, spend, and policy enforcement, helping organizations measure value and manage their deployments.
- Deliver audit logs and change notifications that help administrators investigate activity, track configuration changes, and support compliance.
- Set the technical bar for authorization correctness and reliability, with fast, consistent, explainable permission checks, well-defined failure behavior, and strong tenant isolation.
- Partner with Product, Design, Security, Sales, and Customer Success to translate complex enterprise requirements into reusable platform capabilities and intuitive admin experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of owning complex backend systems from design through production operation.
- Strong system design skills, including building reliable, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platforms with clear security and isolation boundaries.
- Strong proficiency in a backend language such as Python, Go, or Rust, and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Kubernetes.
- Deep expertise in at least one of the following:
- Enterprise identity and provisioning, including OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM.
- Permissions platforms, fine-grained authorization, and policy enforcement.
- Encryption, customer-managed keys, and key lifecycle management.
- Enterprise admin platforms, audit infrastructure, or usage and spend analytics.
- Experience building or integrating enterprise identity and access systems, including platforms such as WorkOS, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID.
- Sound technical judgment in security-sensitive systems, balancing threat models, authorization correctness, and failure behavior with usability and delivery speed.
- A track record of leading ambiguous, cross-team initiatives from architecture through adoption, setting technical direction for shared platforms, and raising engineering quality through mentorship.
If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every qualification. We value demonstrated impact, deep ownership, and the initiative to turn ambiguity into results.
- Функциональное тестирование платформы OpenMetadata. - Проверка процессов сканирования источников данных (ingestion), профилирования данных, управления тегами и глоссариями.
