ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a sharp, user-focused UX Researcher to help shape and improve the overall player experience. You’ll act as the voice of the user by conducting research, uncovering behavioral insights, and turning those findings into clear, actionable product decisions.
You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Data teams, ensuring that product decisions are driven by real user needs and behaviors rather than assumptions. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys working with ambiguity, finding meaningful insights, and turning research into measurable product outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- User Research Operations — Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies including user interviews, surveys, usability tests, and diary studies across the full player journey.
- Behavioral Analysis — Analyze user behavior across our platform using analytics tools, session recordings, heatmaps, and funnel data to identify friction points and opportunities.
- Competitor & Market Research — Conduct structured competitive analysis of sweepstakes casino products to benchmark our UX against industry standards and identify gaps.
- Wireframing & Prototyping — Use Figma or Visily to translate research insights into wireframes, user flows, and low-to-mid fidelity prototypes that guide product and design decisions.
- User Personas & Journey Mapping — Develop and maintain player personas, customer journey maps, and mental models that inform product strategy and prioritization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work directly with Product Managers, Designers, and Developers to embed user insights into the product lifecycle from ideation through launch.
- Stakeholder Reporting — Document and present research findings clearly to stakeholders, making complex insights accessible and actionable.
- UX Standards — Champion user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and usability best practices across all product initiatives.
- Continuous Discovery — Proactively identify new research questions, monitor industry UX trends, and propose process improvements to keep our research function sharp.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in UX research, with a portfolio or case studies demonstrating research-to-product impact.
- Proficiency in Figma and/or Visily for wireframing, prototyping, and user flow design.
- Proven experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, and surveys — both moderated and unmoderated.
- Familiarity with analytics and behavioral tools such as Mixpanel, Hotjar, FullStory, or Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical mindset — ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear, prioritized insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present research clearly to non-research audiences.
- Advanced AI user — comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, generate interview guides, and surface patterns at scale.
- English fluency required.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in sweepstakes casino, online gaming, fintech, or consumer subscription products.
- Experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.
- Exposure to game mechanics, reward loops, or player psychology research.

About the Team
Research & Insights is the team that helps Salmon understand its customers, market, and business opportunities. The CX/UX Research team sits within it and works side by side with Product and Design, turning customer evidence into better product decisions.
As Salmon continues to scale, the need for hands-on, in-depth customer understanding grows with it. This team works closely with Product, Design, Marketing, Strategy, and Operations to make sure decisions are informed by real user behavior, not assumptions.
We're looking for curious, hands-on researchers who enjoy getting close to users, uncovering insights, and helping teams act on them.
About the Role
As a CX/UX Researcher, you will expand hands-on research capacity across Salmon's product portfolio. You'll work closely with product designers and PMs to run studies from kickoff to readout, including interviews, usability tests, and journey mapping, and help teams make decisions based on evidence.
This is a hands-on role. You'll run your own fieldwork, recruit participants, moderate sessions, and write reports. You'll also help build the research infrastructure: intake standards, a methods library, and a research repository the whole product team can use.
This is an excellent opportunity for a researcher who wants to see their work shape products used by real customers, and to help build a research function from an early stage.
What You'll Do
Research Planning & Execution
- Plan and run moderated usability tests, in-depth interviews, and quantitative/unmoderated studies
- Own assigned studies end-to-end: recruitment, moderation, analysis, and reporting
- Maintain a research backlog together with the research lead, and align priorities with product and design teams
Participant Recruitment & Fieldwork
- Recruit and screen participants, and manage logistics including panel vendors, screeners, and incentives
- Run virtual and in-person fieldwork and ensure a positive participant experience
- Conduct field research directly with users, which is expected and resourced
Collaboration with Product & Design
- Work closely with product designers and PMs: participate in team rituals, discuss research priorities, and align on study scope and timing
- Facilitate synthesis workshops, insight reviews, and journey mapping sessions with design and product teams
- Negotiate research priorities with stakeholders, and push back when needed
Journey Mapping & Insights Reporting
- Build and maintain customer journey maps for prioritized product areas
- Write clear, decision-ready reports and present findings to product teams
- Drive change based on research: track whether insights are actioned, follow up with teams, and escalate blockers to the research lead
Research Operations
- Contribute to research repository standards, the intake process, and the methods guild
- Help build the processes and tools that make research faster and more reusable across the product team
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- 2+ years in UX research for consumer products
- Track record of running moderated tests and in-depth interviews independently
- Experience facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions with design and product teams
- Ability to discuss and negotiate research priorities with PMs and designers, and comfort pushing back when needed
- Experience creating journey maps, personas, or service blueprints
- Proven ability to drive change based on research: you track whether findings are actioned, not just delivered
- Comfortable operating with limited process; you help build it rather than wait for it
- Clear, concise writing for non-research audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Filipino/Tagalog
Knowledge & Domain Expertise
Interest or familiarity with:
- UX and customer experience research
- Qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Customer journey mapping and service design
- Research operations and repository management
- Evidence-based product decision-making
Bonus
- Experience in credit, lending, payments, or fintech
- Exposure to banking, technology, or consumer-focused industries
- Experience working with panel vendors and research recruitment platforms

Help Figma grow and innovate by delivering strategic research and recommendations and materially influencing the vision and strategy for Figma Design

Ability to balance speed, rigor, and competing inputs — pivoting direction, weighing user research, strategy, business insights, and team input in decision-making, and seeking solutions in creative ways
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
2+ years in product design, user centric product management, product development, and/or front end engineering

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐️ THE USER RESEARCHER ROLE ⭐️
At Alan, research is not a checkpoint. It's a compass. Our User Research team sits at the intersection of product, design, and engineering, making sure every decision is grounded in what our members actually need, feel, and experience.
As a User Researcher at Alan, you will gather and prioritize the most important questions from across the company, and design the right research to answer them. That means running interviews, diary studies, surveys, and usability sessions throughout the full product cycle, not just at the end. You'll then turn those findings into insights that are clear, compelling, and genuinely useful to the teams who need them.
You'll work hand in hand with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers, and collaborate closely with our analytics and data science teams to tell a complete story about our product. You'll also help grow research culture across Alan, sharing your craft and mentoring teammates along the way.
At Alan, great research drives great product. If you love figuring out what people truly need and translating that into decisions that matter, this role is for you.
⭐️ IF YOU HAVE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING, YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT ⭐️
You may be a great fit at Alan if you have:
- 4+ years of experience as a product/user researcher in a tech environment, with strong hands-on expertise in qualitative methods: interviews, diary studies, think-aloud usability testing, and direct observation
- Solid quantitative research skills: you're comfortable with survey design, sampling, crosstabs, and core statistical concepts
- Sharp critical thinking: you quickly identify what research is worth doing, scope it efficiently, and deliver insights that are focused and actionable
- A strategic mindset: you know how to partner with product stakeholders, communicate the value of research, and tie your findings to concrete business impact
- Compelling communication skills: you turn complex findings into clear narratives that resonate with any audience
- Experience mentoring junior researchers or non-researchers, with the ability to give clear, actionable feedback that helps others grow
- You're close to AI. Either you've built AI products, or you follow the space closely and have a clear view on where to leverage and how LLM systems behave in production.
- You care about healthcare. Alan's mission has to genuinely matter to you. For us this is essential, not a nice-to-have.
- English fluency, written and spoken
- (As a plus) Fluency in French, Spanish, or another European language
For this role, we hire within the D-E level range.
🌍 HOW WE WORK
- Based in (or within commuting distance of) one of our hubs (Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Brussels, Madrid, or Barcelona), with the ability to work onsite twice per week.
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application!

The Figma Research team is hiring an experienced researcher for our Rapid Research program. We're product builders who bring research expertise to the team, working closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to clarify problems, test ideas, and recommend what to change—often in one- to two-week sprints.
You'll rotate across product areas, ramp up quickly, and build relationships as you go, energized by unfamiliar products and ambiguous problems and ready to take initiative rather than wait for a fully scoped brief. You bring strong opinions about what makes a great experience, grounded in the needs of the people using it, spot connections across product areas, and combine deep qualitative and quantitative research expertise with a flexible, resourceful approach to moving quickly without sacrificing rigor. Beyond individual studies, you bring a clear point of view on what to build or change, tailor your communication to your audience, and are willing to challenge assumptions and say the hard thing with care—asking for help when you need it and offering it when others do.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
Scope and run focused research in quick sprints, using sound methods to answer the questions most likely to change a product decision
Turn findings into specific recommendations a designer or PM can act on, working through tradeoffs and helping the team put them into practice
Present product recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership, telling the story behind the data, not just reporting insights
Rotate across product areas and teams as needed, building credibility and relationships quickly without being embedded long-term
Contribute beyond research studies by using our products, joining design reviews, and helping teams recognize when they have enough information to act
Bring clarity to ambiguous problems, challenge assumptions, and adjust the scope or approach as you learn
Experiment with tools, templates, and workflows to make research faster and sharper
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
7+ years of experience in research at high-growth product organizations, UX/design agencies, or strategic consultancies focused on digital experiences
Proficiency in mixed methods research, including qualitative approaches such as interviews and quantitative approaches such as surveys and data analysis
Strong product judgment, with examples of specific recommendations you made and how they shaped the product, backed by strong communication and storytelling skills with a track record of securing executive buy-in
Experience ramping up quickly on new projects and delivering clear recommendations in one- to two-week research sprints, turning ambiguous problems into clear questions and a practical path forward
A scrappy, flexible approach, adapting to changing priorities and tight timelines while maintaining sound research methods, including active use of AI tools to improve speed, quality, or scale
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
Proficiency in designing and prototyping, ideally within the Figma suite of tools
Familiarity with researching design tools, developer tools, creative software, or other products people use to build things
A background in product design, product management, or engineering
Ability to combine product analytics with qualitative research to inform recommendations
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
