A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

As Senior Manager, Business Development, you’ll lead a North American Business Development Representative (BDR) team within Sales, balancing inbound lead qualification with proactive outbound prospecting. Reporting to the Director, Business Development, this role is based onsite in Austin, Texas, with occasional travel.
How we’re using AI today
Across GTM, we’re transforming the way we work with AI. We expect every seller, CSM, and team member to become a power user, using it daily to work smarter and move faster. AI is already embedded in how we operate – from real-time coaching that sharpens how we sell and interact with customers, to surfacing insights that help us anticipate needs – creating more time for meaningful customer engagement. If you’re excited to reshape how you think, make decisions, and drive growth with AI, you’ll feel right at home here.
Expectations of this role
This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to work from 1Password's Austin office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work from the office up to 5 days based on business needs.
Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
What we're looking for:
• Significant experience in business development or sales, including at least two years managing Business Development Representative (BDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams and delivering measurable performance and talent-development outcomes.
• A track record of leading both inbound and outbound motions, with particular strength in designing and improving outbound campaigns, pipeline generation, lead qualification, and forecasting.
• Experience coaching teams through ambiguity, adapting priorities as needs change, and contributing directly to team performance when hands-on support is needed.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust, provide clear feedback, and work effectively with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Enablement, and Channel partners.
• Working proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, along with the ability to evaluate Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled tools and workflows thoughtfully.
• A practical, team-first leadership approach that prioritizes shared outcomes, collaboration, and accountability.
What you can expect:
• Lead, coach, and develop BDRs across inbound and outbound activities, helping the team consistently build qualified pipeline.
• Inspect activity, conversion, pipeline, and forecast signals to identify opportunities, remove barriers, and improve performance.
• Design and scale outbound campaigns while improving lead routing, outreach, follow-up, qualification, and handoff processes.
• Build a strong talent pipeline by identifying development opportunities and preparing BDRs for future roles across Sales.
• Serve as a senior, visible leader in the Austin office by encouraging collaboration, supporting team connection, and helping address shared office needs.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Enablement, and Channel teams to improve messaging, processes, and Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) insights.
• Use sales technology and AI-enabled workflows to improve productivity, strengthen decision-making, and help the team adapt as the business evolves.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $121,000 USD and $175,000 USD, and is commission-eligible. This role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
Our approach to work
We recognize the power of both in person collaboration and remote work. Some roles are designated as remote-first, with an expectation that individuals work from their homes majority of the time, while others are designated as in-office roles, with an expectation of being on-site on a regular basis. We recognize that certain roles benefit from regular, in-person connection to support collaboration, team cohesion, and customer engagement.
For all roles, occasional travel may be required. This includes things like: department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events are typically held in varying locations across Canada, USA and/or EMEA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp's Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team is looking for a senior investigator ready to shift from running cases to scaling the systems that run cases. You've built real depth in TM Alerts, AML Investigations, Complex Fraud, and EDD Reviews; you know what a good escalation looks like, where analysts get stuck, and where automation actually holds up in production versus just looks good in a demo. In this role, you'll spend most of your time partnering with Engineering and the Head of FCC Tooling to turn that judgment into scaled AI systems: testing model outputs, labeling and calibrating results, and making sure every automated decision point is well-documented and properly governed. You'll stay close enough to FCC's day-to-day workflows and will partake in some of them, but this is fundamentally a builder role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner directly with Engineering and the Head of FCC Tooling on automation experimentation and AI initiatives across TM, sanctions, complex fraud, and EDD, moving prototypes from one-off calibration exercises to defined, repeatable evaluation processes.
- Design and run labeling and tagging workflows for model outputs (e.g., TM alert dispositions, sanctions/PEP hit review) building a structured, documented pipeline in place of today's ad hoc process
- Define and maintain test sets, scenario coverage, and evaluation frameworks for compliance AI/agent tools in partnership with the engineers building them
- Own the documentation and governance layer for every automated or AI-assisted decision point
- Work with the FCC team to understand current workflows to guide innovative solutions
- Recommend automation and AI adoption decisions with evidence and escalate control-posture or model-risk trade-offs to compliance leadership
WHAT YOU NEED
- 5+ years of financial services experience in compliance, AML, or related regulatory advisory roles, preferably in fintech
- Demonstrated senior-investigator experience across TM Alerts, AML Investigations, Complex Fraud, and EDD Reviews
- Direct experience testing, labeling, or evaluating AI/ML model outputs, or strong aptitude and demonstrated fast ramp-up if new to formal model evaluation
- Strong AI fluency and data analytics skills
- Comfort partnering with engineers day-to-day and ability to translate compliance judgment into build specs, test cases, and evaluation criteria engineers can act on
- Strong project management and documentation rigor
- Ability to scope an ambiguous automation problem, choose an approach, and deliver a durable outcome with minimal oversight
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Data science background
- Experience working with outsourced testing/QA partners on model tuning or signal collection
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend
UNITED STATES
- 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents
- One Medical annual membership
- 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp
- Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year)
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay
- Pet insurance
- In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more
- Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed)
CANADA
- Group medical, dental, and vision coverage through Sun Life
- Life, AD&D, and disability coverage
- Fertility drug coverage (up to $4,000 lifetime)
- Group Retirement Plan with employer match (RRSP + DPSP)
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay, with additional time available at reduced pay
- Employee Assistance Program and virtual care through Lumino Health
UNITED KINGDOM
- Private medical insurance through Freedom Elite
- Virtual GP and at-home care via eMed x Livi
- Workplace pension through Penfold, with salary sacrifice option
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay with additional time available at reduced pay

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
We are looking for an experienced Partnership Manager to join our Accountant Partnerships team in France, specifically focused on building and developing relationships with accounting firms and accountant networks.
The core purpose of this role is to turn accounting firms into long-term Alan partners and advocates. You will help them recommend Alan to their clients, improve their day-to-day experience with health insurance and payroll administration, and generate qualified business opportunities for Alan’s Sales teams.
The accountant ecosystem represents a significant growth opportunity for Alan. France has approximately 22,000 accounting firms supporting around 3.5 million companies, and Alan’s existing Accountant Partnership channel has already generated significant ARR through a relatively small number of partners.
The team is now entering a new phase of development. We are hiring new Partnership Manager to help build a scalable, high-performing partner network and contribute to Alan’s ambition to make Accountant Partnerships a strategic growth channel.
Here is how your key outcomes will look like:
1. Build and grow a strong partner network: Identify, prioritise and develop relationships with high-potential accounting firms and networks.
2. Drive partnerships from discussion to activation: Lead partnership discussions, onboarding and launch, ensuring that Alan creates value for both accountants and their clients.
3. Activate partners and generate business opportunities: Build engagement plans, support partner enablement and work closely with Sales to turn recommendations into qualified opportunities.
4. Help scale the Accountant Partnerships model: Manage partner performance, share insights with internal teams and contribute to the development of scalable playbooks, tools and processes.
⭐ IS IT YOU WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for someone who combines strong partnership and commercial skills with the ability to build trusted relationships in a complex and evolving B2B ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing partnerships from initial contact to activation and long-term development. They should enjoy working autonomously in an environment where there is still a lot to build.
You may be a great fit at Alan if you have/are:
- 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, account management or customer success in a B2B environment
- Experience managing partnerships throughout the full lifecycle, from prospecting and closing to activation and ongoing relationship management
- Experience managing a portfolio of partners, ideally in a fast-growing company
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
- A data-oriented mindset, with the ability to track performance and prioritise opportunities
- The ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Product, Data and Operations teams
- An entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership and the ability to work autonomously
- Full professional fluency in French and professional fluency in English
Experience working directly with accounting firms, payroll providers, HR software or insurance companies would be a strong plus.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience with B2B distribution partnerships, where a third party recommends or distributes a solution to its own customers. Experience limited to technology integrations, co-marketing or visibility partnerships would be less relevant for this role.
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the C0-D level https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.
Everything else is a plus. We care about having a diversity of experiences, profiles and backgrounds in our team.
🙌 PERKS & BENEFITS https://alan.com/about/life-at-alan/a/perks
At Alan, we believe that being in good health is a basic need, and it starts with our employees. This is why Alaners are provided with a stimulating environment and perks ensuring they are happy, efficient and spend only high-quality time with co-workers.
Therefore, we offer:
- Fair rewards. Generous equity packages complement your base salary, for permanent contracts only.
- Flexible office with hybrid setup. Amazing office space at our Paris HQ or sponsored co-working hubs in Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Annecy, Nantes or Biarritz.

- Personal growth through coaching: At Alan, coaching isn't just a perk - it's core to who we are. Every Alaner is paired with a dedicated coach from day one, who helps maximize their impact, nurture engagement, and navigate Alan's values to develop their full potential. Learn more about our coaching culture https://alan.com/en/blog/discover-alan/a/alan-culture-excellence-through-coaching.
- Parental leave. Extended parental leave for all new parents, for permanent contracts only.
IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE NOT ROLES.
After reading this job description, if you feel like you don’t have all the necessary prerequisites but that it matches where you are now or what you'd like to grow into in your next position, we encourage you to apply!
Not everybody will enter our recruitment process, but all, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply as it can only bring learnings or success.

Founded in 2022 in Senegal, Tanel is the first digital health insurer in francophone West Africa, operating in Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire. With 30,000+ members, a network of 1,200+ health facilities and 400+ pharmacies, and revenue multiplied by 7 in 2025, Tanel has proven real product-market fit.
In 2026, Alan, Europe's prevention-first health insurer (€950M+ revenue, 1M+ members in France, Belgium, Spain and Canada), acquired Tanel to accelerate its expansion in Africa. Together, we are building the reference health insurer in francophone West Africa, aiming for $200M in revenue by 2030.
🚀 WHY JOIN NOW?
Care is our members' first point of contact, and today it runs on the energy of a small, committed team: about 5 people across Dakar and Abidjan, answering members, HR admins and providers on WhatsApp, phone, email and the app.
What got us here will not get us to the next stage:
- Scale: our member base is set to grow several times over in the next 3 years.
- Expansion: after Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire, we plan to open new countries in the coming years.
- Integration: we are moving Care Africa onto Alan's ways of working (KPIs, rituals, playbooks) and, in 2027, onto Alan's tools and platform.
- Performance: we need to structure our KPIs: what we measure, why, and how we act on it, from response times to member satisfaction.
This is a rare chance to shape a Care organization from the ground up, with the backing of a Care Ops team that has already done it in several countries (France, Belgium, Spain, Canada).
⭐ THE ROLE
As Care Ops for Alan Africa, you are the most senior Care person on the ground. You do not manage the team directly: our crew lead does. You own the transformation: how the team is organized, how it grows, how it performs, and how it converges with the rest of Alan. You are part of Alan's global Care Ops team, and you bring local reality into global decisions as much as you bring global practices to Africa.
Your missions include:
1/ Design and roll out the target operating model
- Turn Alan's Care model into a version that works for Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire: how agents split their time between members and improvement work, opening hours, weekends, service levels we commit to.
- Define the team structure for the next 3 years: roles, tiers, one team or one per country.
- Set up outsourcing where it makes sense, and manage the performance of our external partners.
- Build the hiring plan with the crew lead and take part in recruitment, including final-round validation.
2/ Lead the integration with Alan
- Bring Alan's KPIs, rituals and playbooks to the local team, and make sure they stick through training and follow-up.
- Help the crew lead grow the team and coach agents into Care Experts who own improvement projects.
3/ Own operational performance, quality and tools
- Structure our KPIs and reporting: what we measure, why, and how we review it every week, including member satisfaction on WhatsApp and phone.
- Diagnose root causes behind delays, backlogs and member pain points, and turn them into concrete actions.
- Make sure our tools (ticketing, WhatsApp, phone) are set up and fully operational, and lead the transition to Alan's stack with Product, so local needs are built in.
- Provide the inputs (volumes, hours, productivity) that feed our staffing model and budget, and challenge the outputs.
4/ Be the bridge between local and global
- Represent Care Africa in Alan's Care community: share what works, raise what doesn't, contribute to global projects.
- Contribute to Care's strategic plan, for Africa and at global level.
⭐ YOU WILL EXCEL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU
- Have 5+ years of experience in customer service or customer experience operations, including structuring, scaling or turning around a team.
- Have led change in teams or functions you did not manage, and know how to earn buy-in rather than impose a playbook.
- Are data-fluent: you set and track the right KPIs, read and challenge an analysis, and use numbers to make decisions. You do not need to build forecasting models.
- Are fluent in French and work comfortably in English, written and spoken.
- Know the West African context and adapt your approach to the people and the market you work with.
- Are structured, autonomous and at ease with ambiguity: much is still to be defined, and you will help define it.
- Care deeply about access to healthcare and want to have a real impact on members' lives.
Strong pluses: experience in health, insurance or assistance; managing outsourcing partners; leading a CRM or tooling migration; running WhatsApp or phone-heavy support; speaking Wolof.
🎁 WHAT WE OFFER
- Permanent contract, full time, based in our Dakar office, with regular trips to Abidjan.
- A central role in a fast-growing African healthtech, backed by Alan's global Care team.
- Comprehensive health insurance through Alan for you and your family.

- Learning and training opportunities: a flexible policy, budgets for books and conferences.

And beyond.
