ROLE OVERVIEW
Welocalize is looking for a native-level Traditional Chinese speaker to join a large-scale AI and consumer technology programme.
It's a hands-on, on-site role that combines two things: evaluating a pre-release AI model in your language, and testing how it performs on a real device. You'll be among the first people to see this technology in Traditional Chinese, and your judgement shapes how well it works before anyone else uses it.
If you enjoy noticing the detail other people miss, this is work you'll find satisfying.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Review pre-release AI model output in Traditional Chinese and judge it on accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality — would a native speaker really say it this way? This includes fact-checking each response against the source material.
Location: Taiwan
Workplace: remote
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Content Reviewer to evaluate and refine AI-generated summaries for locations on a maps product. This freelance role offers flexibility, with task volumes varying based on project needs. If you have a strong language background and enjoy creating culturally accurate content, we’d love to have you on board as a language expert!

Metabase is the easiest way for people to get insights from their data, from tiny startups who get up and running quickly to major corporations with tens of thousands of users. That's why people love us.
We bring data tools with the elegance and simplicity of consumer products to the crufty world of enterprise business intelligence. We provide an opinionated open source starting point for how companies should measure, analyze and share their data, which is used by tens of thousands of companies.
About the role
Our Finance & Analytics team owns the authoritative view of Metabase's business performance, and the opinionated read on what's driving it. Internally, this is used to drive decisions; externally, this is used to meet our obligations to investors, auditors, and tax authorities.
We’re looking for a quantitative-minded generalist to lead a portfolio of analytical projects across the business and own an area of finance operations. Your analytical projects will focus on how we measure and understand the broader business: establishing authoritative definitions for key metrics and investigating what’s driving changes in the data. In your operational area, you’ll run the work and build systems that make it reliable and increasingly automated, drawing on external specialists for technical expertise.
This isn’t a traditional finance role: we’re a small team of generalists who think in systems, learn unfamiliar domains quickly, and reason through problems from first principles.
Responsibilities
Leading analytical projects that change how we understand the business. Examples include:
Adapting our ARR definition as our business model evolves
Evaluating the health of our sales and marketing funnel
Finding relationships between product initiatives and expansion or churn
Owning a traditional finance domain (such as Accounting or Tax). This will involve a combination of operational work, managing external experts, and evaluating the overall health of the operation
Automating the workflows in your domain so our operational and compliance requirements take as little manual effort as possible. Our aspiration is that areas of traditional finance are treated similarly to analytical systems: a set of inputs that are transformed via defined logic to produce a targeted outcome or insight
Leading cross-functional projects to tackle operational problems as they arise
About you
You think in systems: you understand how pieces fit together, build reliable processes, and automate repetitive work
You think in terms of numbers and are comfortable in a wide range of analytical domains, whether that’s financial modeling, doing intermediate statistical analysis, reviewing the methodology of external vendors, or transforming raw data. You can spot inconsistencies quickly, and enjoy getting to the right answer. SQL experience strongly preferred (nice-to-have: analytics engineering experience)
You know how to use AI to improve efficiency, and enjoy experimenting with novel applications of the technology. Just as importantly, you know the limitations of AI and don't use it as a substitute for your own thinking
You learn fast. For example, you don't need to be an accountant, but you can learn the rules of accounting (or other specialist domains) and apply them to day-to-day problems
You are adept at managing vendors, building strong relationships, and holding them accountable when needed
You have strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail: you enjoy checking items off your checklist, and can seamlessly balance multiple threads of work
Minimum 3–5 years experience, preferably in a high-growth startup
Strong quantitative undergraduate degree (nice to have: MBA)
Based in the US, Canada, or UK
Low-ego attitude: no job should be too small or too large
Nice-to-have: some familiarity with accounting principles or coursework
Compensation
The US base salary range for this role is $150K–$200K annually, plus equity and benefits.
Compensation is determined by role, level, location, and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, and scope of responsibility. Pay may vary by geographic location and other job-related factors.
Benefits
We offer meaningful equity and a comprehensive US benefits package, including fully employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance (with 75% coverage for dependents), a 401(k) with employer match available to enroll after the first 30 days, flexible and unlimited paid time off including sick time, and an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
We're a global team (50% outside the US), fully distributed (from Thailand to California), who get things done asynchronously, with plenty of uninterrupted time, supporting each other to do the best work of our careers. We offer flexibility (define your own schedule and work from wherever you want), autonomy, and an environment that fosters growth, learning, and development. We're relentlessly user-focused and believe in building long-term value, not short-term hacks. And we raised a $30M Series B to take our approach to the next level for years to come.
For U.S. applicants: Metabase participates in the federal E-Verify program, which confirms employment authorization of newly hired U.S. based employees. E-Verify is not used as a tool to pre-screen candidates and is only initiated upon hire.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
Before you apply, we encourage you to explore our culture page https://www.kraken.com/culture to understand what drives us and how we work.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Join our Regulatory Legal team, the group responsible for maintaining and growing Kraken's product offerings across every region we operate in and for advising the business on its day-to-day regulatory obligations. We are a tight, experienced group of lawyers from tradfi (traditional finance), fintech and crypto backgrounds who move fast, stay curious and take pride in the commercial accountability of our advice. We partner directly with Compliance, Product and senior leadership to keep our licensed entities running smoothly and our regulators well served.
This is a remote role based in Hong Kong or Singapore, supporting our growing volume of regulatory work across the broader APAC region. You will operate as a practical legal generalist with a focus on Product legal advice: supporting launches and product changes across APAC, including derivatives and over-the-counter ("OTC") options, tokenised equities, earn and staking products, custody, and card and payments offerings.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Provide product legal support for APAC launches and enablement across the entire Payward product suite, including xStocks, OTC options, institutional custody and execution, and cross-regional products rolling out across APAC
- Act as a gatekeeper for new APAC outside counsel engagements: scope the work, estimate the cost, and sign off before matters are routed externally, so that outside counsel is used where local-law advice is genuinely required
- Translate complex regulatory frameworks into pragmatic, actionable guidance for the business, favouring plain-English communication, measurable risk trade-offs and decision-ready recommendations
- Use AI-assisted tools (for example for multi-jurisdiction licensing analysis, first drafts of regulatory submissions and matter tracking) to raise the speed and consistency of the team's work
- Own the APAC regulatory workload under the direction of the APAC regulatory lead, including licence variations, client and broker agreement documentation, licensing structure questions and routine regulator correspondence
- Take ownership of geography-specific licensing in markets such as Kazakhstan, Pakistan and the Philippines, instructing and supervising local counsel in region and in time zone, and supporting other APAC markets (for example South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia) as they arise
- Support Payward Group licensing initiatives in key APAC markets such as Singapore and Hong Kong, including preparing application materials and coordinating with outside counsel
WHAT YOU BRING
- Qualified lawyer admitted in Singapore, Hong Kong, England and Wales, or an equivalent common law jurisdiction
- 10 or more years' post-qualification experience ("PQE") in financial services regulatory law, gained at a regulated financial services institution (for example a bank, broker-dealer, exchange, derivatives dealer or crypto services provider), at a law firm supporting such clients and/or at a relevant regulator
- Demonstrated ability to independently own regulatory relationships and business-as-usual regulatory workstreams, including notifications, information requests and supervisory correspondence
- Strong experience with the financial regulatory landscape in a major Asian financial centre (eg, Singapore and the MAS, Hong Kong and the SFC/HKMA)
- Proven ability to instruct, supervise and manage the cost of local counsel across multiple jurisdictions, including in markets where you are not admitted
- Working knowledge of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing ("AML/CTF") obligations and regulatory expectations
- Outstanding analytical, drafting and organisational skills, with crisp, plain-English writing
- Ability to distill complex legal and regulatory issues into clear, actionable guidance for non-lawyer stakeholders
- A pragmatic, commercially accountable approach to legal and regulatory risk that gives stakeholders a useful range of options and a clear recommendation
- Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving, remote, multi-time-zone environment, owning a broad workload from day one
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience advising on virtual asset regulation in one or more APAC jurisdictions
- Familiarity with the regulation of derivatives (including OTC options), equities and emerging tokenised financial instruments
- Experience supporting change-of-control notifications or other regulatory aspects of corporate transactions
- Experience with payments, e-money or card regulation
- Working proficiency in a second APAC language
- An authentic interest in crypto and digital assets, and familiarity with Payward's and competitors' products
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll be one of the founding data scientist on Replit's Growth team, working with Product and Engineering leadership across acquisition, activation and recommender systems, and helping shape how Replit experiments.
This role is for someone who doesn't wait to be asked. You spot problems and opportunities before anyone else does, bring a strong point of view, and push it until it changes what we build.
YOU WILL:
- Own data science for major growth areas, partnering with PMs and engineers from problem framing and sizing through launch and readout
- Make fast decisions trustworthy: we ship weekly and need a decision within days, but retention takes weeks to show up. You'll design the experiments and metrics that close that gap; for example, variance reduction (CUPED), sequential testing, and short-term proxy metrics validated against long-term retention and revenue
- Help set the experimentation standards teams rely on for Replit's highest-traffic surfaces: how metrics and guardrails are defined, and the checks that catch a broken test before it misleads anyone
- Use quasi-experimental designs (difference-in-differences, synthetic control, regression discontinuity) where randomization isn't feasible, such as pricing changes and regional launches
- Help define the data science behind an emerging personalization and recommendations workstream: problem framing, offline and online evaluation, and measuring incremental lift
- Model the economics of a freemium, usage-based product: credit consumption, conversion, and how pricing and limits change behavior
- Develop user and project segmentation from behavioral and content signals (e.g., embeddings and clustering) so growth analysis reflects what people are actually building
- Partner with Data Engineering on a shared metrics layer and experimentation tooling
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years in data science, with significant time on growth or experimentation for high-scale prosumer, PLG, or self-serve products
- Data science experience at a fast-growing startup, where you built metrics, datasets, and experimentation practices without much existing infrastructure
- Deep expertise in experimental design and statistical inference, including reaching reliable decisions when readout windows are short and the outcomes that matter are slow
- Experience establishing experimentation standards or platforms adopted by multiple teams
- Expert SQL and Python
- A track record of analysis that changed what a team shipped, and of influencing senior Product and Engineering leaders
- Heavy, practical use of AI tools to move faster in your own work
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Comfortable building your own datasets in dbt;
- Pricing, packaging, or monetization analysis for usage- or credit-based products
- International or mobile growth experience
- MS or PhD in statistics, economics, computer science, or another quantitative field
BONUS POINTS

About Peec AI
Peec AI is the analytics platform for AI search. People increasingly discover products and make buying decisions through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews instead of traditional search, and most brands have no idea where they show up in those answers. Peec gives marketing, SEO, and growth teams the data to see exactly that: how visible their brand is across AI platforms, how they compare to competitors, and where to win. We are defining this category, and the market is moving with us. Peec is a Series A company backed by 20VC and Singular, that went from $0 to $15M ARR in 18 months, with a 100+ person team across our Berlin HQ and our New York office.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
About the Role
As the Engineering Manager for Governance & Access, you will lead the team responsible for building the security, governance, and access capabilities that let Render's customers manage teams, permissions, and environments with confidence as they scale.
You'll design these capabilities for a world where agents, not just humans, operate on Render, turning emerging agentic use cases into simple, reusable platform primitives across identity, authorization, credentials, and delegation. The problems span traditional IAM and emerging agent infrastructure, which is what distinguishes this role from a typical security or IAM job. You'll shape the team's structure as much as its roadmap. You'll also join at a formative moment: the team is small, the architectural foundations are still being defined, and the systems you build will become primitives used across millions of users.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and grow the Governance & Access team
- Own the roadmap for governance, identity and access management, roles and permissions, and related compliance and security capabilities
- Define how these capabilities extend to agents operating on Render, not only human users
- Partner with the dedicated product and design partners already on the team to align roadmap with customer and platform needs
- Build a strong hiring and interview process as the team scales, calibrating closely with recruiting and cross-functional partners
- Make key technical and architectural decisions for access, identity, and governance systems
- Coach and develop engineers, through performance management and career growth
- Coordinate with the adjacent Security team and the rest of the Growth and Expansion org as the platform evolves
- Balance security, usability, and speed, making pragmatic decisions about where strong guarantees are required and where the team can iterate
What We’re Looking For
- Strong people leadership - the top priority for this role
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, with the flexibility to adapt and grow as the team's scope evolves
- Experience building and scaling a team from an early stage
- A track record of managing and developing engineers, including hiring and performance management
- Ability to partner closely with product and design without needing to fill those functions yourself
- Background from either a startup or a larger company is fine. What matters is the ability to operate at pace
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in security, governance, or access management (IAM, RBAC, compliance)
- Exposure to building for AI agents or agentic systems
- Experience managing senior (IC5-level) engineers
- Background in developer platforms or B2B SaaS products
This is an opportunity to help define what secure access looks like when software increasingly acts on behalf of people.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the Role:
We're looking for a People Systems Manager, Workday to join our People team and build the foundation for how People technology operates at Vercel.
We've recently implemented Workday as our system of record, and we're just getting started. As we expand its capabilities and build toward public company-ready operations, we need someone to own the architecture, security, business processes, and governance behind it.
We're building a headless People technology experience, with Workday as the engine behind it, not a traditional HR technology stack. Employees and managers will initiate transactions, access their data, and navigate People processes directly from the tools they already use. You'll make that possible, working closely with integration engineers to connect Workday's security model and Business Process Framework to the experiences we're building.
This is a hands-on IC role with real ownership over how Workday operates at Vercel. You'll set standards, make architectural decisions, and build systems that scale, reducing manual work, strengthening controls, and creating data our growing People analytics function can trust.
If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.
What You Will Do:
Own the configuration, security architecture, and Business Process Framework that power Workday at Vercel, and make the architectural calls that balance flexibility, scalability, and control as we grow.
Partner with integration engineers to design business processes and security configurations for transactions initiated through Slack, internal apps, and other tools, making Workday accessible beyond its native interface without compromising governance or data integrity.
Establish role-based security, segregation of duties, change management, and audit controls from the ground up, and automate what's needed for SOX, SOC 2, and public company readiness without adding friction.
Configure and optimize business processes for core People operations, equity, commissions, one-time payments, and clawbacks, partnering with Finance, Total Rewards, Payroll, and Legal to bring new capabilities into Workday accurately and auditably.
Set standards for data governance, reporting architecture, calculated fields, and data quality, so Workday stays a reliable source of truth as our analytics and self-service reporting mature.
Own release management, regression testing, and configuration change control. Find the root causes of recurring friction and fix them through better configuration, automation, and process design, and partner with auditors on evidence, walkthroughs, and remediation.
About You:
5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience across security, business processes, reporting, and core configuration.
Strong grasp of Workday's security architecture and Business Process Framework, including role-based access, security groups, business process policies, approvals, and segregation of duties.
Experience building or evolving a Workday environment, including configuration standards, governance frameworks, and scalable business processes in a growing organization.
Experience designing and implementing Workday security, governance, and internal controls that support SOX compliance and audit readiness.
Workday reporting and data management experience, including calculated fields, advanced and composite reports, data validation, and reporting governance.
Experience in interconnected HR technology environments, understanding how Workday security, business processes, and data architecture affect downstream systems and automated workflows.
Bonus If You:
Have experience with Workday Payroll or complex compensation processes, including equity and commission payments.
Have helped a high-growth technology company scale its People Systems infrastructure or prepare for an IPO.
Have used AI or automation to improve system administration, data quality, controls, or operational efficiency.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $167,000 - $204,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.
