ABOUT THE ROLE
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com is actively looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior Analyst, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) to join our growing global team.
In this role, you will play a key part in protecting our business by conducting thorough due diligence and risk assessments on our external suppliers. You will work closely with a team of experienced TPRM professionals, reporting to the TPRM Manager, contributing to best practices, ensuring high-quality risk assessments, and being actively involved in strategic process improvements.
If you have a knowledge in vendor risk, an understanding of information security, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Risk Assessments & Due Diligence: Conduct end-to-end third-party risk assessments, minimum due diligence, and control evaluations.
- Evidence Validation: Review and analyze vendor compliance documentation, including control reports, certifications, and security policies, to validate their cybersecurity and operational resilience postures.
- Gap Analysis & Remediation: Identify control gaps in vendor environments. Collaborate directly with vendors to agree on appropriate remediation actions and track them to completion.
- Workflow & SLA Management: Manage an active pipeline of vendor assessments, ensuring that reviews are completed efficiently, accurately, and within agreed-upon service level expectations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a reliable point of contact for internal business owners and Procurement, guiding them through the TPRM process and escalating complex risks to internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) or senior team members when necessary.
- Process Improvement & AI Integration: Be actively involved in the wider TPRM team's strategic initiatives, supporting efforts to leverage AI and automation tools, execute system migrations, and maintain data hygiene without the expectation to lead these projects independently.
- Ad Hoc Initiatives: Participate in agile, ad hoc risk management projects as they arise, adapting quickly to business needs and delivering prompt, high-quality results.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in Third-Party Risk Management, IT Risk, IT Audit, or a closely related Information Security Governance role.
- Framework Knowledge: Knowledge of global security and risk frameworks, including ISO standards and SOC reporting, alongside a foundation in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) methodologies, cybersecurity principles, and data privacy regulations.
- Accountability & Time Management: Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership. You effectively manage concurrent workloads, organize your time seamlessly, and consistently deliver prompt results.
- Team Collaboration: A proactive self-starter who excels at working alongside peers. You will actively collaborate, share knowledge, and support broader team objectives.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You excel at taking complex technical or compliance concepts and explaining them in plain, actionable language for business stakeholders.
- Problem Solver: Highly analytical with a track record of supporting process standardization and adapting to evolving regulatory landscapes.
- AI & Technical Skills: Experience with, or a strong aptitude for, utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation to optimize risk assessment workflows, streamline data analysis, and scale TPRM operations.

The role & impact
You will run the Networks team in Cloud Capabilities, the group that looks after Xero's cloud network, DNS and CDN. You will set the team's direction, deliver against our Cloud Capabilities goals for the year, grow and support your engineers, and balance roadmap work with support requests and incidents. You will work closely with Product, Security and the other Cloud Capabilities teams.
The Networks team underpins connectivity, name resolution and content delivery for every Xero product, so your work shapes reliability, security and cost at global scale. Together with your team, you will shape a multi-year network strategy across AWS and edge providers, with real ownership and a clear mandate to modernise. It is a chance to Go Further in running critical infrastructure your way.
The team & how they connect
You will join a team of seven engineers at a range of levels, reporting to the Head of Engineering, Cloud Capabilities. The team works in fortnightly sprints, shares a support rotation and reviews incidents without blame. Written decisions and open technical debate are part of how we Go Together.
Initially, you will focus on
- Getting to know our network architecture, risks and support load, and building trust with the team and partners.
- Agreeing a prioritised roadmap and ways of working with the Head of Engineering.
- Shaping a multi-year network plan across AWS and edge providers, including DNS and CDN.
- Reducing reliability and tech-debt risks while sharing support and incident work fairly across the team.
Where and how you can work
This is a permanent role based in Australia or New Zealand with a preference for Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland or Wellington. Our Boost days are a chance to connect, recharge and learn from one another.
Here are some of the things we are looking for
- Your background includes guiding engineering teams that run production infrastructure, from hiring to performance conversations and career growth.
- You bring a solid grounding in cloud networking (VPC, routing, DNS, CDN and load balancing) to support your team well and Go Further.
- You are comfortable setting direction, delivering against roadmaps and OKRs, and handling planned and unplanned work side by side.
- You Go Bold by modernising critical infrastructure with care, weighing up priorities and trade-offs as you go.
- You Go Together by building trust with stakeholders and explaining your thinking clearly in writing.
- A cloud certification such as AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, or formal management training, would be a bonus.
Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.
Xero uses AI to help screen applications based on job-related qualifications. These tools assist our recruiters but do not make automated hiring decisions. A real human recruiter reviews all candidates before any hiring action is taken.
- Опыт от 1 года в продуктовой команде, в аналитике, e-commerce. - Понимание продуктовых метрик и воронки: конверсия, CTR, контакты, заявки, одобрения.
