Project Manager, Courier Onboarding & Compliance
to act as the single owner of courier and cargo onboarding flows, verification processes, and regulatory compliance across the Delivery Hub.
In this role, you will sit within the Supply department — which builds and protects our supply base across all geographies — and bridge the gap between regulatory rigor, product experience, and funnel conversion. Your job is simple to describe but difficult to execute: build a seamless, compliant onboarding machine that converts leads into active couriers while protecting the business against regulatory risks across diverse international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Own courier & freight onboarding & registration
Own the registration and verification funnel end-to-end, holding final accountability for the aha-moment conversion rate.
Develop the WatchDocs (registration platform) flow in close partnership with the product team and agree on per-country form configurations.
Monitor funnel metrics, diagnose anomalies, and run drop-off research (surveys, courier calls, field tests with local teams).
Drive platform migrations & scalability
Plan and execute WatchDocs data migrations from old to new platforms on a country-by-country basis.
Track migration impact on registrations and overall conversion, ensuring smooth transitions without supply disruption.
Lead supply compliance & risk management
Own KYC, identity verification, and document requirements for the Courier and Freight verticals, driving final accountability for the share of compliant GMV.
Drive compliance platform development with the engineering team and maintain central compliance dashboards.
Drive compliance platform features with engineering teams.
Represent Delivery Hub in cross-vertical & regulatory initiatives
Act as the primary advocate for Delivery Hub in cross-vertical compliance discussions, balancing legal and regulatory risk against funnel performance with data-backed arguments.
Prepare markets for upcoming regulatory changes (e.g., labor reforms in Kazakhstan, Colombia) and support new market launches in highly regulated environments.
Drive optimization projects & operating rhythm
Run supply funnel optimization projects, quantifying business impact (conversion, GMV, Net Revenue) in coordination with analytics.
Own onboarding and compliance streams in quarterly/annual planning, maintaining single-source dashboards and concise decision-oriented materials for senior leadership.
Qualifications
Experience:
4+ years in project management or operations within ride-hailing, delivery, or marketplace platforms. Hands-on experience with registration/onboarding funnels, identity verification (KYC), or regulatory projects is a strong advantage.
Technical & Data Skills:
Proficiency in SQL (BigQuery) for independent data extraction/validation, experience building BI dashboards (Tableau or similar), and project management tool mastery (Jira, Confluence).
Domain Expertise:
Deep understanding of KYC/identity verification flows and core delivery marketplace metrics (GMV, active supply, done rate, activation, funnel conversion).
Regulatory-to-Product Translation:
Strong ability to translate complex legal and regulatory mandates into clear product requirements while quantifying their business impact.
Stakeholder & Cross-Cultural Management:
Fluent in English with strong cross-cultural communication skills (working with local teams across Central Asia, Africa, LatAm, and South Asia). Confident pushing back on stakeholders with data when proposed requirements threaten conversion.

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

- Provide independent compliance input and advisory on significant product, payments, outsourcing, and operational changes.
- Deputise for the Head of Compliance & MLRO where required.

- Experience supporting compliance monitoring, control testing, issue management, remediation, or governance reporting.
- Working knowledge of UK and/or EU financial-services regulation, with the ability to apply requirements pragmatically in a fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with financial-crime controls such as customer due diligence, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, or record keeping.
- An interest in areas such as payments, safeguarding, outsourcing, operational resilience, or third-party oversight.
- Strong judgement and communication skills, with the confidence to identify issues, explain risk clearly, and work constructively with stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and partnering with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Risk teams.
- Curious about using AI responsibly to improve compliance analysis, monitoring, or documentation.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience in a UK payment institution, e-money institution, bank, card issuer, acquiring business, or payments fintech.

About the company
Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We were the first company to tokenize exposure to US Treasuries, and have since expanded into several other assets. We are also focused on incubating protocols that can support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto.
Founded by folks from Goldman Sachs Digital Assets Team, we’re backed by some of the best investors in the world including Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Tiger Global, and more. We are currently the leaders in the space in terms of AUM and are well capitalized to continue growing the firm. We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.
About the Role
We're looking for a Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen our monitoring and investigations program across both fiat and on-chain activity. You'll own transaction monitoring, secondary market and trade surveillance, investigations, and regulatory reporting, and you'll be a key partner to Legal, Product, Engineering, and Operations as we scale.
This role suits a hands-on investigator who's equally comfortable tracing funds through a blockchain explorer, analyzing trading patterns for manipulation, and writing a SAR narrative that holds up to regulatory scrutiny.
Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day transaction monitoring program for fiat and digital asset flows, including alert review, escalation, and disposition.
Design, tune, and document monitoring rules and scenarios based on the firm's risk assessment, typologies, and emerging threats.
Use blockchain analytics tools to assess wallet exposure, counterparty risk, and illicit-finance indicators such as sanctions, mixers, darknet markets, scams, and ransomware.
Track alert volumes, false-positive rates, and SLAs, and drive improvements in efficiency and coverage.
Build and run surveillance for trading activity on primary and secondary markets, including on-chain transfers, DEX/CEX activity, and OTC flows.
Detect and investigate potential market abuse, including wash trading, spoofing, layering, front-running, pump-and-dump schemes, and insider trading.
Work with Engineering and Data teams on surveillance tooling, data pipelines, and alert logic.
Maintain reporting procedures, quality control checks, and audit-ready documentation.
Support regulatory exams, independent audits, and responses to regulator inquiries.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in financial crimes compliance, with significant hands-on work in investigations, AML/BSA, and transaction monitoring.
Demonstrated experience with blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis (Reactor, KYT), TRM Labs, or Elliptic, and the ability to trace funds independently on-chain.
Strong working knowledge of the BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, FinCEN guidance, and OFAC sanctions requirements.
A track record of writing high-quality SAR narratives and investigation reports.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and spot anomalous patterns.
Excellent written and verbal communication, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
Nice to Have
Experience with trade surveillance or market abuse detection at a broker-dealer, exchange, ATS, or digital asset trading venue.
Familiarity with securities regulations (SEC, FINRA) and how they apply to tokenized assets or digital securities.
Experience building or scaling a monitoring program at a high-growth fintech or crypto company.
Experience managing or mentoring analysts.
Certifications such as CAMS, CCAS, CFE, or CCI.
What we offer
Competitive compensation including but not limited to salary, future token rights, and/or equity (according to your preferences) — We are well-funded and believe that great talent deserves great compensation.
Full benefits (medical, vision, and dental) and flexible vacation policy (PTO).
Remote-first team across many countries — You will be an early team member helping shape our vision, culture, and design practices.
A+ colleagues — Our team includes alumni from: Goldman Sachs, Blackrock, Two Sigma, Bridgewater, SpaceX, AWS, Meta, Google, McKinsey, Circle, Uniswap.
Best-in-class investors — We are proud to be backed by leading crypto experts and VCs, including Pantera Capital, Founders Fund and Coinbase Ventures.
