We offer creators a variety of ways to engage with their fans and build a lasting business including: paid memberships, free memberships, community chats, live video, and selling to fans directly with one-time purchases.
Ultimately our goal is simple: fund the creative class. And we're leaders in that space, with:
- $10 billion+ generated by creators since Patreon's inception
- 100 million+ free memberships for fans who may not be ready to pay just yet, and
- 25 million+ paid memberships on Patreon today.
We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Contract Technical Sourcer to support our mission.
This role can based in New York or San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 3 days per week on a hybrid work model.
About the Team
The recruiting team is dedicated to bringing in the people who will help creators thrive. We partner closely with leaders across the company to understand their goals, anticipate future needs, and build diverse, thoughtful teams. As advocates for both candidates and hiring teams, we design an inclusive, transparent hiring experience that feels true to Patreon's values. Above all, we believe that every great employee experience starts with a great candidate experience - one rooted in respect, clarity, and genuine connection
About the Role
- Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and technical leadership to define and run sourcing strategy for Engineering, Product, and Design roles across a range of levels, from early-career to senior and staff-plus
- Run intake conversations with hiring teams to understand the technical needs of each role, translate them into target profiles, and set clear sourcing goals and timelines
- Proactively identify and engage passive talent through LinkedIn, GitHub, open-source communities, technical forums, portfolios, conferences, and other channels where technical talent spends time
- Write personalized, compelling outreach that earns responses from in-demand engineers, product managers, and designers, and continuously test and refine messaging based on what works
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates in the early stages of the process, providing a warm, responsive, high-touch experience that reflects our brand
- Build and maintain talent pipelines and talent pools so we have qualified candidates ready ahead of demand
- Build sourcing strategies that expand our reach and bring in diverse slates of qualified candidates
- Track and report on pipeline health and funnel metrics (response rates, conversion by channel, time to submit), and use that data to improve how we source
- Improve our sourcing and early-stage processes by identifying bottlenecks, testing new approaches, and sharing best practices with the broader talent team
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate data and activity in our applicant tracking system
What you’ll need
- 3+ years of experience sourcing for technical roles (Engineering required; Product and/or Design a plus) at high-growth technology companies or startup
- Strong understanding of the technical landscape: you can speak credibly about roles, stacks, and levels (for example, backend vs. frontend vs. mobile vs. infrastructure/ML) and evaluate profiles against a role's core requirements
- Hands-on experience with sourcing tools and channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, social media, and technical communities and forums. Juicebox souring strongly preferred
- Experience with an applicant tracking system; Ashby experience strongly preferred
- A track record of crafting creative, data-informed sourcing strategies that build a consistent, diverse pipeline of qualified candidates
- Excellent written communication, with a demonstrated ability to write outreach that gets responses from passive talent
- Comfort partnering with recruiters and senior technical stakeholders, and influencing hiring strategy rather than just taking requests
- Strong organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches at once
- Demonstrated ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are still being built
- A genuine passion for the creator economy and the people who make a living doing what they love
About Patreon
Patreon powers creators to do what they love and get paid by the people who love what they do. Our team is passionate about making this mission and our core values come to life every day in our work. Through this work, our Patronauts:
- Put Creators First | They’re the reason we’re here. When creators win, we win.
- Build with Craft | We sign our name to every deliverable, just like the creators we serve.
- Make it Happen | We don’t quit. We learn and deliver.

If you need a reasonable accommodation during the interview process, please let us know via email at accommodations@patreon.
Patreon operates under a hybrid work model, where employees based in office locations are expected to come into the office three days per week, excluding sick time and paid leave. The goal of this policy is to be intentional about the in-person time we spend together to strengthen the feeling of community at Patreon. Candidates hired into remote-eligible roles are not expected to meet the same requirements.
At Patreon, we believe in fair and transparent pay. In compliance with New York and California pay transparency laws, we are sharing the expected salary range for this role.
The posted salary range is dependent on the location and the level. This range may encompass multiple levels within the role’s job family. The final offer will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, competencies, and geographic location, aligning with the appropriate job level within Patreon’s leveling framework. For remote employees located outside CA and NY, salary may vary based on location and local market conditions.

THE OPPORTUNITY

- Evaluate AI tooling, drive build-vs-buy decisions, translate requirements into technical roadmaps, ensure secure deployment, measure ROI, and lead integrations.
- Establish metrics, dashboards, and controls for workload, demand, spend, cycle times, efficiency, risk, and outcomes.
- Design and operate intake, triage, and demand-management frameworks, including prioritization models, service tiers, SLAs, and self-service pathways.
- Optimize vendor and contractor management, spend controls, billing review, performance measurement, and work allocation.
- Design, implement, and adopt AI-enabled legal workflows at scale.
- Evolve the Legal knowledge management strategy (playbooks, templates, decision trees, guidance) for reuse and automation.
- Prioritize operational, process, and technology initiatives based on impact, risk reduction, and ROI.
- Lead change management, training, and adoption for new processes, technologies, and AI systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Maintain operational controls to reduce legal, regulatory, and model risk.
- Enable attorneys to focus on legal judgment, strategy, and advisory work.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 10+ years in Legal Operations, legal technology, process design, finance-adjacent operations, or operational leadership.
- Experience scaling legal operations, legal technology, financial management, and data-driven execution.
- Experience driving automation and AI initiatives from strategy through deployment, governance, adoption, and ROI measurement.
- Understanding of legal workflows (contracts, regulatory, litigation, investigations, intake, outside counsel management) and process redesign.
- Hands-on experience optimizing legal technology platforms (CLM, matter management, spend management, intake, knowledge management, AI tools).
- Ability to translate requirements into technical roadmaps and operational plans.
- Experience establishing metrics, dashboards, controls, and OKRs.
- Communication skills to influence legal leaders, executives, and technical teams.
- Experience operating in ambiguity and leading transformation in high-growth environments.

- Experience in fintech, crypto, financial services, or regulated industries.
- Background in enterprise AI governance, model risk management, or secure AI deployment.
- People management experience in Legal Operations or adjacent functions.
- Experience benchmarking Legal Operations practices, tooling, and cost structures against industry standards.

Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.

OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

Experience using R, Python, or Stata to clean, manipulate, and analyze data, including working with multiple data sources (e.g., survey or administrative data)
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., programs/operations, product, or research) and external partners to implement projects and solve problems

The position involves participation in all stages of work on an automated content generation system: from stabilising the existing vertical video pipeline for YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram Reels to developing the agentic architecture, launching the virtual AI creator direction and building analytics on the results. Working with the team means applying cutting-edge generative models and agentic tools to a real production product every day, seeing the direct effect of your work in content metrics, and learning from the inside how the games industry, the creator economy and content-driven game promotion work. The developer will work with a live system that has a real audience and measurable results, make technical decisions independently, build expertise in generative AI and take on the role of the project's technical owner as it grows.
Responsibilities
Take over the existing vertical video generation pipeline (script → voiceover → visuals → subtitles → editing → auto-posting → tracking links) for YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram Reels, understand it from the docs and code, and bring it to stable operation.
Grow the pipeline: improve content quality and virality, scale up generation volume, reduce cost and turnaround time per video.
Keep track of new generation models and services (video, image, voice, LLM), test them quickly and replace outdated parts of the pipeline with better or cheaper ones.
Launch and develop the virtual AI creator direction: a consistent character, voice, style and content plan.
Design and improve agents: write and debug prompts and sub-agent roles, validation between phases, context and cost control.
Build a dashboard for running generation and tracking content analytics (views, clicks, conversions, cost per video).
Automate publishing: platform integrations, posting from mobile devices, scaling channels.
Write clean, testable, documented code, including unit and integration tests.
Requirements
Solid Python, basic bash.
Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, etc.) and agentic pipelines: a real project, pet project or hackathon entry you can show and talk through.
Experience using Claude Code, Cursor or similar tools as a working environment, not just as autocomplete.
Understanding of prompt engineering basics: defining an agent's role, limiting context, getting stable structured output.
Understanding of Git, team development and Docker basics.
Ability to work with REST APIs and webhooks, basic understanding of databases (SQL).
Understanding of vertical content: games, creators, streams, TikToks, Shorts, how video discovery works, what shadowbans are, how mobile posting farms are set up. A big plus if this is your hobby: your own channel, editing, streaming, experiments with AI generation.
Ownership: the ability to take a task end to end and deliver a result without external supervision.
Initiative: your own proposals on improving the pipeline, new models and automation, and the readiness to implement them yourself.
Ability to figure out someone else's system from code and documentation, reconstruct the logic and ask the right questions.
Independence in technical decisions and openness in communication: flag problems immediately.
Product thinking: measuring results by content metrics (views, retention, clicks) and cost per video.
Ability to explain the system's capabilities and limitations to non-technical colleagues.
Experimental mindset: fast hypothesis testing and the willingness to drop what did not work.
Desire to grow with the project: from stabilising the current pipeline to becoming its technical owner.
English at the level of reading technical documentation (Intermediate+).
Nice to have
Experience with video and image generation via API (
fal.ai
, Kling, Runway, Seedance, Nano Banana, etc.), TTS and speech recognition (Whisper and similar).
ffmpeg: assembly, normalisation, subtitles, overlays.
Experience building reliable calls to paid APIs: retries, idempotency, cost tracking.
n8n or other workflow tools.
Telegram bots, YouTube / TikTok / Instagram / Discord APIs.
Android / mobile device automation.
Supabase or PostgreSQL.
Experience with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes.
Observability and monitoring (Datadog, OpenTelemetry).
Your own channel, pet projects, open-source experience or hackathon participation.
Benefits
Convenient working tools:
New Mac laptop and any other necessary equipment for your efficient work.
Google Workspace, Atlassian, Jira, Slack
Professional growth:
Exchange of experience between employees within the company
Opportunity for professional growth within the company and department
Obtaining expertise in various areas and products of the company
More perks
Possibility of flexibility working

We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 YOUR MAIN GOAL WILL BE TO BUILD AND OPERATE N8N’S SHARED CONTEXT INFRASTRUCTURE — OUR “COMPANY BRAIN” — SO BOTH PEOPLE AND AI AGENTS CAN RELIABLY ACCESS ACCURATE, WELL-STRUCTURED, AND APPROPRIATELY GOVERNED KNOWLEDGE ACROSS THE COMPANY.
To make that happen, you’ll shape how our knowledge is structured, contributed, accessed, and maintained as we build the context layer powering n8n’s agentic future:
DESIGN OUR INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
- Define the taxonomy, structure, contributor guidelines, and templates that turn fragmented company knowledge into reliable, reusable context.
- Establish standards that make knowledge easy to navigate, maintain, and use without creating duplication or another layer of content sprawl.
- Evolve these standards as our functions, knowledge sources, and agentic use cases grow.
ONBOARD & ENABLE TEAMS
- Onboard functions to the company brain and train designated champions to structure and maintain their own knowledge over time.
- Give non-technical contributors the guidance, templates, and support they need to contribute high-quality context independently.
- Partner with the Internal AI Enablement Lead to develop a shared network of champions who help scale strong knowledge practices across n8n.
OPERATE OUR CONTEXT PLATFORM
- Configure and operate ingestion from qualitative sources such as Slack, Gong, Drive, and Notion using our context platform’s tooling.
- Own day-to-day platform configuration and basic troubleshooting, escalating genuine engineering challenges to our Automation team or vendor when needed.
- Partner with IT, Security, and Legal to define requirements for how people and AI agents access sensitive company knowledge.
BUILD FOR LONG-TERM TRUST & REUSE
- Keep content structures, contributor guidelines, and knowledge freshness current as n8n and the platform evolve.
- Work with functions to ensure the company brain becomes a trusted source of context rather than another parallel knowledge repository.
- Provide product feedback to our context platform vendor and anticipate shared context patterns and capabilities that future agents will need.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🗂️ Information architecture: You have proven experience designing structured content or knowledge programs at scale, including taxonomies, style guides, contributor guidelines, templates, or information architecture.
- 🧠 Knowledge systems experience: You’ve worked hands-on with knowledge or context systems and understand what it takes to turn fragmented qualitative information into something others can reliably use.
- ⚙️ SaaS platform fluency: You’re comfortable configuring and operating SaaS knowledge or context platforms, working with APIs and integrations, and independently troubleshooting basic issues.
- 🎓 Stakeholder enablement: You have a track record of training non-technical stakeholders and enabling them to confidently maintain high-quality content themselves over the long term.
- 🔐 Governance collaboration: You’re comfortable partnering with IT, Security, and Legal on access requirements and compliance-sensitive data flows without needing to own the underlying technical architecture.
- ✍️ Communication: You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can set a clear quality bar for how company knowledge is structured, documented, and shared.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🤖 Context platforms: You’re familiar with Qontext.ai http://Qontext.ai or a comparable agent-context platform.
- 🔌 MCP: You have experience with or a strong understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- 🏷️ Knowledge governance: You have a background in knowledge management, metadata, or data governance.
Why join us?
At n8n, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how an entire company’s knowledge becomes usable — not only by people, but by the AI agents increasingly working alongside them. You’ll build a capability we don’t have today and help establish the context layer that future agentic initiatives across n8n will depend on.
You’ll have real ownership over how company knowledge is structured, governed, and maintained, while working closely with teams across IT, Security, Legal, Data, and AI & Automation. You’ll also have the support of a strong technical team and vendor partner, so your focus can stay on creating a trusted, scalable knowledge system rather than building every piece of infrastructure from scratch.
As n8n grows, you’ll help turn fragmented knowledge into a shared company brain that teams can contribute to confidently and agents can depend on reliably.

🎯 YOUR MAIN GOAL WILL BE TO TURN N8N’S INTERNAL AI AND AUTOMATION CAPABILITIES INTO SOMETHING EVERY FUNCTION CAN CONFIDENTLY USE, BUILD WITH, AND LEARN FROM.
To make that happen, you’ll create the programs, experiences, and foundations that help teams across n8n build their AI and automation fluency:
DRIVE HANDS-ON ENABLEMENT
- Run weekly, role-specific workshops, prioritizing less-technical functions such as Legal and Customer Support.
- Lead hands-on sessions where you build live alongside teams, helping them turn real workflows and challenges into working automations.
- Run Build Along Office Hours and Bounty Hunts that give teams regular opportunities to learn, experiment, and solve problems together.
- Help teams identify useful automation opportunities, understand the process they are changing, and decide when to reuse an existing solution, build themselves, or involve the Automation team.
OWN DOGFOODING & EXPERIMENTATION
- Own our monthly Dogfooding Day end-to-end, from planning and coordination through execution and follow-up.
- Design and run hackathons and other experimentation initiatives that encourage teams to explore new ways of working with AI and automation.
- Turn learnings and outputs from these initiatives into reusable assets that help other teams move faster.
SCALE AI FLUENCY & COMMUNITY
- Own periodic AI fluency survey cycles alongside the People team and help calibrate what fluency means across different functions.
- Build visibility around internal wins and reusable solutions so teams can learn from what others have already created.

- Turn outputs from workshops and office hours into reusable templates and resources that teams can easily discover and adopt.
- Actively help teams reuse existing solutions rather than reinventing them, making automation more accessible and scalable across n8n.
- Check whether the things built are still in use four weeks later; provide evidence that teams reuse existing assets and can make routine changes without handing everything back to the Automation team.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🛠️ Practitioner-level n8n fluency: You’ve built real, meaningful automations in n8n and are comfortable building live alongside others.
- 🎓 Technical enablement experience: You’ve run structured, recurring enablement programs such as workshops, office hours, or build-alongs.

- 🌍 CET overlap: You’re based in a time zone that gives you strong overlap with Central European working hours, within a couple of hours of Berlin.
- 💬 English fluency: You have fluent or near-native English and can communicate clearly and confidently with audiences ranging from individual contributors to senior stakeholders.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🌱 Champion programs: You’ve helped build or run an internal ambassador, champion, or community program.
- 📊 Fluency measurement: You have experience running capability, fluency, or adoption surveys and turning the results into actionable programs.
- 🔐 Access & governance: You’re familiar with access or governance models and have worked with stakeholders responsible for secure environments and tooling.
Why join us?
At n8n, you’ll have the opportunity to build a brand-new enablement function from the ground up and shape how AI and automation become part of everyday work across the company. You’ll have a direct line to the Head of AI & Automation, high visibility across functions, and genuine autonomy to design an enablement model rather than inherit one.
As n8n scales, you’ll become a key connector between the people building our internal automation capabilities and the teams putting them to work. You’ll help create a culture where teams don’t just learn about automation — they confidently build, experiment, share what works, and help others do the same.
You’ll join a fast-growing, remote-first company that values autonomy, experimentation, and builder culture, with the opportunity to influence how we scale AI fluency across the organization.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Corporate Systems team runs the core collaboration platforms everyone here works in and builds the tooling and automation behind IT. That responsibility extends to the companies we acquire. Their people, devices, and systems have to come into Anthropic securely.
You'll own the IT side of Anthropic's acquisitions: due diligence, integration planning, and integration. Before close, you'll assess a company's IT environment and give the deal team a clear read on risk and effort. You'll define the technical integration plan and its requirements: what moves, where it lands, in what order, what has to be ready on day one, and how each security gap gets closed. After close, you'll carry out that plan and bring the company's people, devices, and systems onto our stack. This is a hands-on engineering role. You'll hold admin, write code, build automation, run the cutovers yourself and bring in other teams when the work calls for their expertise or support. You'll lead this work for IT Engineering and partner with Security, Corporate Development, Legal, People, and Finance at every stage.
M&A will be your primary focus and responsibility, but you'll be a full member of the Corporate Systems team; taking part in planning and reviews, using and contributing to the team’s tooling, and contributing to the roadmap. Early on, M&A will be most of your work, including using Claude to automate the repeatable parts of diligence and integration. As that automation matures, and when M&A load is light, you'll contribute to other parts of the team’s roadmap.
Responsibilities
Lead technical IT due diligence: assess a company's identity, applications, endpoints, and infrastructure, and brief the deal team on risk and effort before close
Find the gaps between an acquired environment and Anthropic's security model, rate them, and build the mitigations into the integration plan
Define the technical integration plan and its requirements: what moves, where it lands, in what order, and what has to be ready on day one
Run the integration: take over administration, migrate people, devices, and data, and retire what's no longer needed, with support from other IT Engineering teams as required.
Work with Business Technology, Client Platform, Corporate Network, IT Operations, and Security on their parts of each integration
Keep Corporate Development, Legal, People, Finance, and the acquired company's team clear on where IT stands
Build a repeatable IT M&A playbook and automate as much of it as possible with Claude
When M&A work is light, contribute to core Corporate Systems projects
You may be a good fit if you have
8+ years as a hands-on engineer in corporate IT. You have designed and shipped systems, carried out migrations or integrations yourself, and owned at least one area end-to-end, with experience supporting other areas: identity, applications, endpoints, or corporate infrastructure
Experience administering enterprise identity and collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, and an SSO provider, and working code in Python or similar against their SaaS APIs
Working knowledge of endpoint management and security concepts, enough to lead diligence on an unfamiliar fleet
A proven ability to understand an unfamiliar IT environment quickly and deliver a prioritized view of risk to non-specialists
A record of leading technical projects that span several teams and run to a fixed date, while doing much of the engineering yourself
Comfort working autonomously, with ambiguity and confidential information
Clear communication with executives, legal and corporate development teams, and engineers at acquired companies
Strong candidates may also have
Prior M&A, carve-out, or company-to-company migration experience
Experience across the full stack: endpoints, systems, applications, and infrastructure
Hands-on experience managing a device fleet or running an MDM
Experience working in or alongside a security team
A record of building tooling that replaces manual IT work
Using Claude or similar tools as a core part of how you work
Representative projects
Assess an acquired company's IT environment that nobody here has seen and produce a prioritized integration plan within days
Design a way to size integration effort and risk for a company of any shape or size
Automate bringing acquired people and devices onto Anthropic's identity and device management
Write the IT risk memo for a live deal and present it to Corporate Development and Security leadership
Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be received on a rolling basis.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About Beneficial Deployments
Beneficial Deployments ensures AI reaches and benefits the communities that need it most. We partner with nonprofits, foundations, and mission-driven organizations to deploy Claude in education, global health, economic mobility, and life sciences — focusing on raising the floor for those who need it most.
About the Role
We're looking for an Applied AI Engineer to join our Beneficial Deployments, Life Sciences team. Our goal is for Claude to close the loop on scientific discovery, and a significant part of this is helping Claude to drive scientific hardware and software. You'll help deploy the Model Hardware Standard (MHS) to labs doing the world’s most important research. You’ll scale what you learn in the field by contributing back to the standard, building scalable assets, and driving associated internal product and research direction.
Responsibilities
Work with labs to automate their experiments end-to-end with Claude - from advising, to prototyping, to writing production code.
Drive product, engineering and research direction based on field experience - e.g. building evals to measure limitations of our models in the physical world (capabilities and safety), developing new features on MHS, etc.
Scale your impact to the long tail of labs through reusable cookbooks, documentation, and other assets.
Be an EMEA ambassador for Claude in the lab - you’ll both inspire and build trust with scientific audiences, from small settings to large conferences.
This role will require significant travel
You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have
Hands-on experience connecting software to lab robots and instruments (liquid handlers, plate readers, scheduling software, LIMS), ideally in an automated lab.
Strong engineering skills: you can take an LLM-powered tool from prototype to production code, and write evals to measure its performance.
A scientist's instinct for how experiments work: you can spot what's worth automating, and where AI might fail or be unsafe in the physical world.
Experience working directly with external customers or partners in a technical role.
Clear written and verbal communication: you’ll write docs other labs can use without you and give talks that inspire and earn researchers' trust.
A scrappy mentality–comfortable wearing multiple hats, building from scratch, driving clarity in ambiguous situations, and doing whatever it takes to further the mission.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
