ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for forward-thinking, high-performing AI Engineers who are excited to pioneer the future of AI-driven engineering at Paysend. In this role, you will work hands-on with Claude Code and the Anthropic API to design, harden, and ship agentic systems that write, review, test, and deploy code. This is a high-impact, build-and-own opportunity: you will take cutting-edge AI prototypes and turn them into resilient production infrastructure - directly empowering our global engineering teams, accelerating our product velocity, and helping us solidify Paysend as the definitive end-to-end payment infrastructure for the modern world.
THE ENGINEERING PROBLEM
The problem is not to make an LLM generate code. The problem is to make AI-assisted and agentic software delivery reliable enough to become part of normal engineering work.
These systems operate inside real software delivery workflows. They need to deal with incomplete context, failed execution, incorrect assumptions, external dependencies, changing repository state, and cases where an agent should not continue on its own. This means designing clear execution boundaries, decision points, observability, recovery and escalation paths, not only the agent behaviour itself.
The role includes shaping how these systems work, not only implementing integrations with existing AI tools.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design end-to-end AI-assisted delivery workflows, including agent responsibilities, execution boundaries, decision points, human intervention, failure handling, recovery, and escalation
Design and refine AI-driven pipelines that automate coding, code review, testing, and deployment tasks
Build and optimise agentic workflows using Claude Code and the Anthropic API, including custom tooling, MCP server integrations, sub-agents, and stateful orchestration logic
Engineer robust prompts, benchmark suites, and automated eval datasets; measure and improve pipeline accuracy, latency, and API costs
Define workflow-specific success criteria and operational evidence, including correctness, reliability, intervention and escalation rates, failure modes, and recovery effectiveness
Integrate core Anthropic capabilities (tool use, structured outputs, prompt caching, batch processing) into internal developer platforms
Handle unglamorous production work: sandboxed execution, strict error handling, retries, observability, guardrails, and edge cases
Own these systems after initial implementation: observe how they behave in real engineering workflows, investigate failures and incorrect behaviour, and improve the system based on operational evidence
Partner with engineers across the org to identify automation opportunities and roll out agentic tools safely with human-in-the-loop review mechanisms
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong software engineering background, with experience designing, building, and operating production systems, and strong hands-on experience with Python or TypeScript
Ability to decompose end-to-end engineering workflows, identify decision boundaries, failure modes, dependencies, observability needs, and recovery paths
Direct, hands-on experience with Claude Code—you've used it beyond casual experimentation and understand its strengths, limits, and configuration (CLAUDE.md, sub-agents, hooks)
Experience building with LLM APIs: prompt engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, context window optimization, agentic loops, and evaluation
Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integration and custom workflows
Comfort turning prototypes into production systems: CI/CD integration, containerized execution, reliability engineering, and monitoring
Pragmatic judgment about where AI automation helps and where traditional deterministic logic or human oversight is required
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with agent orchestration frameworks or building custom agent harnesses/tooling
Track record shipping internal developer platforms or CLI tooling
Contributions to open-source AI frameworks, developer tools, or MCP servers

Location: Philippines
Workplace: Hybrid
Salmon is a technology-driven financial company building a banking and lending platform across Southeast Asia, starting in the Philippines.
We combine global fintech expertise with deep local market knowledge to make financial services simple, accessible, and useful for millions of people across the region.
7M+ app downloads. 2M+ monthly active users. 7,000+ partner stores. US$310M+ raised from leading global investors.
Manila-based, globally distributed, and hybrid-first — our team spans 45+ countries.
If you want to solve complex problems at scale and impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.
Southeast Asia's fintech moment starts here.
About the role:
You'll own the NPV and unit economics model behind Salmon's credit card business — the core logic behind how we price, size, and monitor profitability across the portfolio.
What you'll do:
- Work directly with the Head of Economics to turn model logic into production-ready Python/SQL code
- Build and maintain the datasets that feed the model — cohorts, cashflows, losses, funding, fees, revenue — with help from other analysts
- Automate scenario and sensitivity runs so pricing, limit, and product decisions are backed by real numbers
What you'll own:
- Own the end-to-end NPV / unit economics model for credit cards — clean, testable, versioned logic
- Validate model outputs against actual portfolio performance and investigate gaps when they don't match
- Translate model logic into clear, implementation-ready specs when other teams need to build on it
- Step outside your immediate scope when the work calls for it — we value ownership over rigid roles
What makes you a strong fit:
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics
- Strong Python (pandas) and SQL — for data exploration and for implementing analytics logic in production
- Solid understanding of unit economics / financial modeling — cashflows, NPV, cohorts — through direct modeling experience or hands-on work with such models
- High attention to detail — small errors break economics in production
What we offer:
Ownership and flexibility
- Stock option plan — four-year vesting with a 25% cliff after the first year
- Hybrid-first work environment
- Company-provided tools and equipment
- Office in Bonifacio Global City, Manila — a modern, walkable district at the centre of the Philippines' growing tech scene
Health and time off
- Medical insurance support for you and your family through co-funding or reimbursement, depending on your location and subject to policy limits
- Access to an internal mental health support specialist
- 22 vacation days, Philippine public holidays, and 15 sick days
- 105 days of paid maternity leave and up to 14 days of paid paternity leave for employees relocating to Manila
Relocation and family support
- Relocation support for you and your family — including flights, two weeks of accommodation, visas, paperwork, and logistics
- Reimbursement of eligible pet relocation expenses
- USD 2,500 per year for flights home
- Baby and family stipends for employees relocating to Manila: USD 1,000/month per child under two, USD 500/month per child aged two to 18
Growth and team experience
- Opportunities to learn and share your expertise through internal expert meetups, external conferences, speaking opportunities, and industry publications
- Company-sponsored trips to Manila to meet and work with your team in person
- Regular team offsites, sports activities, and team events
- High-performing teams can earn a dedicated beach house week in Southeast Asia
We believe strong teams are built by people with different backgrounds, experiences, and points of view. Salmon is an equal opportunity employer, and we make hiring decisions based on skills, experience, and potential.

Our mission is to become the leading exchange in Singapore, offering seamless and efficient trading experiences to our clients and partners.
The Controls and Governance function at OKX SG works across business, product, legal, risk, and compliance to ensure our operations remain safe, resilient, and compliant with Singapore’s regulatory expectations. We embed operational and conduct risk management practices, strengthen internal controls, and act as business partners to help functions make informed, risk-aware decisions.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a
Controls & Governance Manager
to support the continued development of our business controls, conduct risk, and governance framework in Singapore.
Reporting to the Controls & Governance Lead, you will play a key role in strengthening controls across client-facing and commercial activities, including sales practices, customer communications, client classification, product governance, and business conduct monitoring. You will also support broader risk governance, regulatory implementation, issue management, and assurance activities.
This is a business-facing controls role suited to someone who understands how regulated financial services businesses operate in practice. You should be comfortable partnering directly with Commercial and Product teams, using data to identify potential risks, translating regulatory expectations into practical controls, and providing constructive challenge while enabling the business to move forward.
What You’ll Be Doing
Business Conduct & Front-Office Controls
Partner with Commercial, Product, Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to design and strengthen controls across client-facing activities, including sales practices, customer communications, client classification, conflicts of interest, product governance, and fair customer outcomes.
Define local requirements for sales surveillance and business conduct monitoring, partnering with central teams to implement appropriate monitoring capabilities while owning local review, investigation, escalation, and remediation of identified risks.
Support controls around front-office activities, including representative conduct, customer interactions, sales incentives, product distribution, and the appropriate treatment of different customer segments.
Translate regulatory and conduct requirements into practical business controls, processes, and product requirements, partnering with Product and Operations teams through design, testing, implementation, and post-launch review.
Customer & Controls Optimisation
Analyse customer complaints, onboarding and KYC issues, incidents, sales activity, and operational data to identify emerging risks and root causes.
Partner with Product, Operations, Compliance, and Risk teams to improve customer journeys while maintaining appropriate regulatory and control standards.
Identify opportunities to strengthen control effectiveness while simplifying processes and reducing unnecessary customer or operational friction.
Risk Governance & Controls
Maintain the SG risk register and coordinate the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), working with business teams to identify and assess key operational, regulatory, and conduct risks and controls.
Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and support periodic control testing to assess control effectiveness, identify gaps, and drive remediation with control owners.
Support the implementation of local policies, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and control frameworks, ensuring requirements are effectively embedded into day-to-day business activities.
Issues, Assurance & Regulatory Implementation
Coordinate investigation and root cause analysis of incidents, conduct issues, and control deficiencies, working with relevant teams to develop practical corrective actions and drive issues through to resolution.
Support internal and external audit engagements, regulatory reviews, and assurance activities, including documentation requests, walkthroughs, management responses, and remediation tracking.
Support the implementation of evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards, assessing business impact and working cross-functionally to embed appropriate processes and controls.
Outsourcing & Governance Coordination
Support governance of intra-group and third-party outsourcing arrangements, including maintenance of the SG Outsourcing Register and ongoing reviews in accordance with MAS requirements and internal policies.
Support key governance forums, including the Token Listing Committee, and prepare clear and timely risk, controls, conduct, and issue reporting for the SG Management Committee and other relevant forums.
What We Look For In You
At least 4 years of experience in business compliance, front-office controls, conduct risk, sales surveillance, regulatory compliance, or related roles within capital markets, securities, brokerage, trading, wealth management, fintech, or other regulated financial services.
Good understanding of Singapore financial services regulation and MAS expectations, particularly across business conduct, client classification, sales practices, product governance, conflicts of interest, and customer outcomes.
Hands-on experience designing or executing sales surveillance, conduct monitoring, or front-office controls, including identifying issues, investigating exceptions, and driving remediation with business stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use client, transaction, or activity data to identify risks and translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, processes, or product enhancements.
Strong stakeholder management and execution skills, with experience partnering across front-office, Product, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to provide constructive challenge and drive outcomes.
Experience in digital assets or crypto is a plus; familiarity with broader operational risk, RCSA, outsourcing, audit, and governance frameworks is advantageous.

About Huzzle
At Huzzle, we connect exceptional talent with top opportunities at leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Our clients include fast-growing startups, digital agencies, SaaS companies, and tech-enabled businesses across industries such as MarTech, FinTech, EdTech, and eCommerce. Unlike traditional outsourcing agencies, we place you directly with innovative companies where you become a valued member of the team.
Job Type
Full-time (Remote, working full UK business hours)
Engagement: Independent Contractor
About the Company
Our client is a growing UK digital marketing business managing paid media for a portfolio of external agency clients and more than 12 companies within its wider group.
Their focus is primarily on SMEs and local service businesses, so this role is ideal for a Paid Media Specialist who understands how to generate meaningful results with smaller, carefully managed advertising budgets—not someone whose experience is limited to large brands with significant media spend.
The team values accountability, commercial thinking, accurate tracking, and clear communication with clients.
Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Paid Media Specialist to take ownership of Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns across multiple SME client accounts.
Google Ads will be your immediate and primary focus, with Meta Ads becoming an increasingly important part of the role as additional accounts come online.
This is not a strategy-only position. You'll personally build, audit, restructure, optimize, track, and report on campaigns.
It's also a highly client-facing performance marketing role. You'll be responsible for turning a client's budget and objectives into a structured campaign, accurately tracking results, and personally presenting performance to clients—including explaining what happened and what you're changing when results fall below expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day management of Google Ads campaigns across multiple SME client accounts
Build, audit, restructure, and optimize Google Ads accounts from the ground up
Manage Search, Performance Max, and Display campaigns
Structure campaigns effectively, including account architecture, keyword strategy, and match-type separation
Manage bidding strategies, budgets, and daily spend pacing
Build and verify conversion tracking from scratch using Google Tag Manager
Implement and troubleshoot call and lead conversion tracking
Build and manage Meta Ads campaigns, including Meta Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI) implementation
Monitor performance and flag underperforming accounts within 48 hours, rather than waiting for month-end reporting
Produce monthly written performance reports for each account with clear commentary explaining what changed, why it changed, and what happens next
Lead client performance and review calls
Communicate campaign wins, challenges, and underperformance confidently and professionally
Provide weekly internal summaries covering spend, conversions, CPA, and overall account performance
Recommend landing page and conversion-rate improvements based on campaign data
Brief internal creative resources on required ad creative and video assets
Feed paid search insights into organic search and SEO targeting
Maintain accurate daily time records for internal billing
Work with tools including GoHighLevel and Apollo where relevant; significant prospecting or list building is not expected, as target company lists are provided
Requirements
Proven hands-on experience managing Google Ads across multiple client accounts
Strong experience working with SMEs, local businesses, or smaller advertising budgets
Demonstrable experience personally executing campaigns—not simply overseeing or delegating execution
Hands-on experience with Google Search, Performance Max, and Display
Experience managing Meta Ads campaigns
Practical knowledge of Meta Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI) setup
Ability to build conversion tracking from scratch, including Google Tag Manager
Strong understanding of campaign structure, bidding strategies, budget pacing, CPA, conversion optimization, and attribution
Experience presenting campaign performance directly to clients
Confidence discussing underperformance and difficult results—not only campaign wins
Fluent spoken and written English with excellent client-facing communication skills
Highly self-directed and capable of identifying problems and restructuring accounts without constant instruction
Strong reporting discipline and ability to consistently meet fixed reporting deadlines
Comfortable with daily time tracking
Ability and willingness to work full UK business hours on a long-term basis
Google Ads certification
Paid media experience with lead generation and local service businesses
Experience using call tracking platforms such as WhatConverts
Microsoft Advertising experience
Familiarity with GoHighLevel
Familiarity with Apollo
Benefits
💰 Competitive salary based on experience
🌎 100% remote work environment
📈 Long-term stability within a growing group of companies
🚀 High-impact role with significant autonomy
🎯 Opportunity to work across a diverse range of industries and brands
Location: United Arab Emirates; Cyprus; Poland; Romania; United Kingdom; Georgia
Reporting Line
Reports directly to the
CEO
.
Leads a compliance function that includes the Group Paralegal (direct report) and all compliance personnel embedded across the CXM Group of Companies.
Location
Remote (EU timezone preferred)
This is a fully remote role. EU timezone alignment is preferred to ensure effective overlap with key offices across the CXM Group. Occasional travel may be required for regulator meetings and visits to regional teams.
General Purpose
CXM Group is building a compliance architecture across six business lines and multiple jurisdictions simultaneously — this role owns that build.
The group is at an inflection point: multiple licensing processes are running in parallel, including a Norwegian crypto exchange being structured for MiCA passporting, a South African broker-dealer acquisition, a VARA application in the UAE, and prospective acquisitions in LATAM and Southeast Asia. The CCO exists to hold this together — ensuring that a fast-moving, multi-asset, multi-jurisdictional expansion programme stays regulatorily sound, that new entities are acquired and integrated without compliance exposure, and that the group's licensing pipeline converts into durable, operating authorisations across FX, CFDs, crypto, prediction markets, prop trading, and education.
This is a role for someone who has operated across tier-one and emerging-market regimes simultaneously and has the regulator-facing credibility to show for it.
Specific Objectives
Build and deploy a group-wide compliance reporting framework
Within the first three months, establish a structured compliance reporting framework covering all regulated entities across the CXM Group — including defined reporting lines, cadences, and escalation paths that give the CEO and board clear, timely visibility of the group's regulatory posture.
Create an AI-enabled legal document database
Within six months, deliver a searchable, indexed, and cross-referenced repository of all legal documentation across the group — structured for AI-assisted retrieval so that agreements, licences, policies, and regulatory correspondence can be surfaced and compared at speed.
Establish and embed internal legal SLAs
Within the first three months, define and operationalise service-level agreements for all internal legal workflows: standard contract reviews turned in 24 hours; new contract drafting completed within 48 hours; policy creation on agreed timelines. Compliance with these SLAs to be tracked and reported.
Deploy legal and compliance risk monitoring tools
Within six months, implement risk monitoring tooling across all business verticals and target markets — covering FX, CFDs, crypto, prediction markets, prop trading, and education — providing structured, ongoing visibility of regulatory and legal risk exposure across the group.
Drive the live licensing and acquisition pipeline to defined milestones
Own delivery against the group's active regulatory and M&A programme: South African broker-dealer acquisition and VARA (UAE) licence obtained by Q3 2026; VARA application submitted by Q4 2026 and licence granted by Q3 2027; MiCA passporting for the Norwegian crypto exchange secured by Q2 2027; LATAM and Southeast Asia acquisition targets scoped and structured by Q1 2027.
Key Activities
Oversee group-wide legal and compliance communications
Manage all inbound and outbound communications across the compliance and legal function — ensuring consistency of position, appropriate escalation, and clear audit trails across all CXM Group entities.
Monitor brand, regulatory, and compliance risk
Run ongoing monitoring of online brand exposure and regulatory risk signals across all business verticals and target markets, using dedicated tooling to surface issues before they become regulatory events.
Research target markets and emerging regulatory requirements
Conduct structured research on new and existing jurisdictions — tracking legislative developments, regulatory guidance, and enforcement trends across FX, CFDs, crypto, prediction markets, prop trading, and education to keep the group's risk exposure visible and current.
Build and maintain reporting infrastructure with Ops and IT
Work cross-functionally with Operations and IT to design, implement, and maintain the compliance reporting systems and dashboards needed to give leadership real-time visibility of the group's regulatory posture.
Inventory, organise, and analyse all group legal agreements
Own the end-to-end legal document function: audit existing agreements across all entities, build and maintain the AI-enabled document repository, and ensure all contracts are indexed, cross-referenced, and accessible for rapid retrieval.
Manage regulatory relationships and respond to inquiries
Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators across all jurisdictions — preparing responses, managing ongoing dialogue, and coordinating regulator visits or meetings with appropriate precision and consistency.
Set and enforce contract throughput standards
Define the SLA framework for all internal legal workflows — 24 hours for standard contract reviews, 48 hours for new contract drafting — and hold the Group Paralegal and compliance staff accountable for delivery against those standards. The CCO personally handles high-stakes, novel, or regulator-facing agreements; standard throughput runs through the team.
Requirements
Key Competences
Two competences are non-negotiable (and typically take a decade of multi-jurisdictional work to build) — everything else can be ramped. If you don't have these, the rest of the profile doesn't matter.
Non-negotiable
Multi-jurisdictional regulatory knowledge
Demonstrated command of tier-one regimes (CySEC, FCA, NFA, ASIC) and offshore/emerging-market frameworks (UAE, Mauritius, Seychelles, SVG, Cambodia), with working knowledge of MiCA and crypto licensing regimes globally. This is the core of the mandate — live deals are already in motion.
Regulator-facing credibility
Confidence and competence in direct regulator engagement — managing inquiries, coordinating responses, and representing the group's compliance posture with consistency across jurisdictions. The group has active regulator relationships that need an owner from day one.
Strong advantage
M&A and licensing fluency
Ability to support acquisition structuring and entity integration from a compliance perspective — assessing regulatory exposure, coordinating with external counsel, and managing parallel licensing processes without dropping threads.
AI-enabled legal operations
Experience deploying AI tooling in legal workflows — document retrieval, contract review acceleration, risk monitoring — is a strong advantage. Candidates without a deployment track record must demonstrate a concrete plan for rapid adoption and the aptitude to execute it.
Function leadership and SLA ownership
Ability to set standards, delegate effectively, and hold a team accountable for throughput — running the contract and compliance function at scale without becoming the bottleneck. Personal involvement reserved for high-stakes, novel, or regulator-facing matters.
Likely Current Job
Chief Compliance Officer (multi-jurisdictional broker or crypto exchange)
The closest equivalent — already holding a CCO title across FX, CFDs, or crypto at a group with multiple regulated entities and active regulator relationships. If your current seat is steady-state and you're ready to own a live build across six asset classes and a dozen jurisdictions, this is the step up.
Head of Compliance (tier-one regulated broker)
One level below CCO at a CySEC, FCA, or ASIC-regulated firm — strong regulatory depth, ready to move into group-level ownership. If you've hit the ceiling of what a single-jurisdiction, single-entity compliance role can teach you, this is where the complexity scales.
Regulatory Affairs Director (fintech or crypto)
Licensing and regulator-facing experience across multiple jurisdictions, possibly without the full compliance function remit yet. If you've been the technical expert behind the licensing programme and want to own the outcome end-to-end, this is the mandate.
M&A Compliance Lead (financial services)
Embedded in acquisition structuring and entity integration at a PE-backed or multi-entity financial services group. If you've been supporting deals from the compliance side and want a seat where M&A fluency is a core expectation rather than a secondary contribution, this is it.
Senior Legal Counsel / Head of Legal (retail broker or crypto exchange)
Contract-heavy, regulator-facing, with compliance responsibility baked in — a common feeder at smaller multi-jurisdictional groups where legal and compliance sit close together. If you've been carrying both functions informally and want a title and mandate that reflects the actual scope, this role makes it official.
Benefits
Employer Value Proposition
Most CCO roles at this level are maintenance jobs — one regulator, one entity, one asset class. This one is not.
Genuine architectural ownership across six asset classes and a dozen jurisdictions
FX, CFDs, crypto, prediction markets, prop trading, and education — running simultaneously, across tier-one and emerging-market regimes, with live licensing and M&A deals already in motion. The compliance architecture doesn't exist yet at group level. You're building it. By the end of year one, you'll be able to say you built a multi-jurisdictional compliance architecture from scratch, closed live licensing deals across MiCA, VARA, and emerging markets simultaneously, and stood up an AI-enabled legal ops function before almost anyone in the segment has done it. That is a résumé paragraph no single-jurisdiction maintenance role can produce.
Direct line to the CEO — and the mandate authority that comes with it
This role reports directly to the CEO, not to a CLO or CFO. In a live licensing and M&A environment where decisions need to move fast, that access matters: no layers between compliance judgment and executive action. Many group-level CCO seats don't offer this — this one does.
A live deal pipeline, not a hypothetical one
MiCA passporting, VARA in the UAE, a South African broker-dealer acquisition, and prospective acquisitions in LATAM and Southeast Asia — these are active, not aspirational. You'll be in the room on deals that will define the group's regulatory footprint for the next decade.
A first-mover opportunity in AI-enabled legal ops
The mandate includes building the AI-enabled legal ops function at group level — document retrieval, contract throughput acceleration, risk monitoring — in a segment where almost nobody has done it yet at this scale. If you've started deploying AI in legal workflows and want a seat where that capability shapes the entire function, this is it.
Group-level mandate, not a function-level seat
Functional authority over compliance personnel across all CXM Group entities. The scope matches the title — and the title reflects the actual job.
Fully remote
No relocation. No commute. Occasional travel when it matters — regulator meetings, regional teams — and otherwise, work from wherever you do your best thinking.
A genuinely uncommon opportunity
Multi-asset, multi-jurisdictional, M&A-active, AI-forward, fully remote — and at a scale that is still early enough for you to leave a visible mark. Roles with this combination of complexity and ownership don't come up often.
Compensation
Compensation is bespoke to the hire. We'd rather understand what you bring to the table and have a direct conversation about expectations than anchor the discussion prematurely. The package will be competitive with the scope of the mandate and consist of base + bonus that is tied to hitting agreed KPIs.
Assessment Process
This process is designed to match the weight of the mandate. A seat with this scope — live licensing, active M&A, and a compliance architecture being built from scratch — deserves a rigorous hire, and we make no apology for that. Every stage is purposeful, and every interviewer is there for a reason.
Group Legal Counsel
— regulatory and legal technical depth across jurisdictions, plus practical M&A case questions to assess acquisition structuring judgment.
CHRO
— leadership style, function-building track record, and cultural alignment with CXM Group's operating style.
CEO
— strategic judgment, mandate clarity, and the candidate's vision for the compliance architecture they'd build and own.
Board members
— select Board involvement at final stage, focused on governance credibility and long-term fit at group level.
The full process is designed to run within one month. We move quickly and respect that your time is finite — every stage is as much your opportunity to assess CXM as ours to assess you. If you take your next move as seriously as we take this hire, that's exactly the kind of conversation we want to have.
