About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
We're looking for a Software Engineer to join the team building Claude Security. In this role, you'll take new security capabilities in frontier models and turn them into products that customers can rely on, working across the full stack from early prototype through production.
This role sits close to both research and go-to-market. You'll work with researchers on the team to understand what the models can do and where they fall short, and with customers and partners to understand which problems are worth solving for them. You'll be expected to form your own view from both and to own significant pieces of the roadmap, including deciding what not to pursue.
The right candidate is a strong generalist engineer with the technical depth to engage with research, the product instincts to know what's worth building, and the drive to move fast. Prior security experience is useful but not required; range across the stack and good judgment about what to build matter more.
Responsibilities
Build and ship user-facing and/or backend features for Claude Security
Build the agent loops, tool integrations, and enabling infrastructure for cybersecurity products
Collaborate tightly with product managers and go-to-market to understand user needs, shape feature scope, and make informed tradeoffs as you build
Iterate quickly based on user feedback and internal testing, improving the experience on a continuous basis
Collaborate with research teams to identify and develop new model capabilities for security applications
You may be a good fit if you:
Contribute across the stack, from front-end UI to back-end infrastructure
Are proficient in TypeScript, Python, and/or Go and have experience building distributed systems
Enjoy fast iteration and are energized by prototyping new ideas
Are comfortable working closely with research and go-to-market teams
Have strong communication skills and can work effectively across functions
Have 7+ years of experience as a software engineer
Strong candidates may also have:
Experience building client-side terminal applications
Experience developing cybersecurity products
Experience in incident response, reverse engineering, network analysis, penetration testing, or similar fields
Experience building skills, plugins, or hooks in Claude Code or similar tools
Experience building with Claude Managed Agents or similar frameworks
Deadline to apply:
None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$405,000
—
$485,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for Research Engineers to contribute to our ambitious research agenda spanning multimodal foundational models, interactive world modeling, and real-time generation. This role is highly collaborative and will touch many aspects of our broader research efforts, taking a full-stack approach across pretraining, SFT/RL post-training techniques, evaluation, and bringing models to production.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Run experiments to teach world models new behaviors — action following, scene manipulation, camera control, and beyond
- Develop and test new data strategies, architectural variants, and training techniques
- Design evaluations that measure model capabilities, and use them to drive model improvement
- Take features from research prototype to production, collaborating with product and creative teams to address application-specific gaps
- Contribute across the entire stack (data pipelines, modeling, production inference) to move projects forward
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 4+ years of experience in machine learning research or engineering
- Familiarity with the architecture, training, and inference of large-scale multimodal generative models
- Experience building robust data pipelines for pretraining and post-training
- Comfort working across the full research stack: data, training, evaluation, and deployment
- Proficiency with at least one ML framework (e.g. PyTorch, JAX) and experience with distributed training at scale
- Ability to context-switch quickly and drive projects forward in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
- Excitement about building AI that simulates the world

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
THE ROLE:
We’re looking for strong backend engineers who love building developer tools used by the largest AI companies in the world. You’ll be building for things at scale, but also for new AI workflows that change every day.
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You’ve built and shipped modern web applications end-to-end
- You’re comfortable working across the stack: TypeScript on the frontend, Python services on the backend, and ClickHouse for data and analytics
- You have deep knowledge of observability tools and patterns used for large-scale workloads such as custom sandboxes and training and inference for large language models (LLMs) and diffusion models
- You have experience with at least one of the following: billing/payments systems, B2B SaaS tooling, enterprise software, or LLM/diffusion model inference and training workloads
- You have strong product instincts and think about customer problems, not just tickets
- You’re able to participate in our on-call rotation and respond to production incidents
- You make good tradeoffs between shipping fast and building for scale
- You’re able to work in person in our NYC or SF office
Location: New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA
About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As a Strategic Account Executive (Asset & Wealth Management) at Anthropic, you'll join the foundational team introducing our frontier AI platform to the world's leading asset managers, wealth management firms, and institutional investors. You'll drive adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing strategic, enterprise-scale deals across asset management, wealth management, and institutional investment organizations. You'll leverage deep A&WM sales expertise to grow revenue while becoming a trusted advisor to industry stakeholders — helping them embed AI into research, portfolio management, client advisory, and operations workflows, and uncovering its full range of capabilities. Working closely with Product and Marketing, you'll continuously sharpen our value proposition, sales motion, and market positioning for A&WM decision-makers.
The ideal candidate is energized by building a new category in an established, highly regulated industry — identifying high-potential accounts across asset managers, wealth managers, and institutional investors, and running the strategies to win them. By driving deployment of Anthropic's emerging products into A&WM enterprises, you'll help these organizations unlock new capabilities while advancing the responsible development of AI.
Key responsibilities
Own a book of strategic, high-value accounts across asset management, wealth management, and institutional investment organizations, carrying and exceeding an individual revenue target
Engage personally with C-level and senior technical stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Research, Heads of Data/AI) — building business cases and value narratives, and navigating complex procurement, security, regulatory, and legal review through to production deployment and expansion
Identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities within your accounts, building and executing account plans that turn strategic relationships into committed revenue
Run a disciplined pipeline and forecasting cadence — accurate deal inspection, clear next steps, and predictable, coachable execution across a high-value, long-cycle book of business
Partner closely with Applied AI, Solutions Architecture, and Product to design solutions, prove value quickly, and translate A&WM-specific needs — research, portfolio management, client advisory, operations — into product and roadmap input
Codify winning use cases, proof points, and reference stories from your deals, partnering with Marketing and Enablement to help scale them across the broader FSI motion
Orchestrate cross-functional and partner motions with Customer Success, Legal, Partnerships, and cloud partners to deliver a seamless customer experience, and represent Anthropic as a visible, trusted voice with customers and at industry events
Minimum qualifications
5+ years of enterprise sales experience in asset management, wealth management, or institutional investing, with demonstrated success covering buy-side or wealth advisory organizations
A track record of carrying and exceeding quota in enterprise sales of technical, complex products (API-first platforms, cloud infrastructure, data/ML platforms, or enterprise SaaS)
Experience winning and growing strategic enterprise accounts, including building C-suite relationships, within asset and wealth management
Operational rigor across complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles — balancing velocity with deal quality and forecasting accurately in fast-changing environments
Credibility with technical buyers and builders — CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, Heads of AI/ML — and experience pairing effectively with solutions architects and applied AI teams
A genuine interest in deploying AI responsibly and motivation to advance Anthropic's mission of building safe, beneficial AI
Driven, coachable, and on a steep growth trajectory
Preferred qualifications
Experience bringing generative AI or LLM-based products, or other emerging platform technologies, to large asset managers or wealth management firms
Deep familiarity with regulated-industry selling — data governance, fiduciary/compliance-driven procurement, security review, and the governance expectations of buy-side and wealth organizations
Experience selling with and through cloud and ecosystem partners such as AWS, Google Cloud, and global systems integrators
Familiarity with consumption- or usage-based commercial models and value-based pricing conversations
Experience navigating long, multi-stakeholder enterprise cycles typical of institutional investment and wealth advisory procurement
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$380,000
—
$450,000 USD
Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a mid-level Data Engineer for our team.
Become a part of a team of data specialists who take care of massive amounts of data and groundbreaking technologies. Your work will be driving and empowering efficient and successful decentralised domain data ownership and data consumption, for example, around car pricing intelligence or deliveries. When needed, you can participate in the evolution and optimisation of our data stack, helping domains to ingest, process and consume data across the company. You will also play an active role in driving our agentic evolution roadmap.
While being part of a central team of data engineers across Portugal, Poland and Spain, you will be embedded in cross-functional packs on a rotational basis. You will work closely with product managers, software engineers, product analysts, data scientists and regional business partners to identify and design new data projects and guide them through successful delivery and validation from end to end.
What you will be doing:
Enable efficient consumption of domain data as a product by delivering and promoting strategically designed actionable datasets and data models
Build, maintain, and improve rock-solid data pipelines using a broad range of technologies
Support teams without data engineers in building decentralised data solutions and product integrations.
Build data pipelines in our Lakehouse using Medallion architecture.
Act as a data ambassador, promoting the value of data and our data platform among engineering teams and enabling cooperation
Cooperate with product teams to look for opportunities to integrate data into our end products and streamline source data so that data is cleaner earlier in the process
Follow and promote data mesh principles around decentralised data ownership and ‘data as a product’
Promote and uphold privacy-by-design principles, ensuring sensitive data is managed in strict compliance with established security and privacy standards
Increase data literacy of the engineering organisation by hosting training and mentoring other engineers (both less experienced data engineers and software engineers)
Help advance agentic systems tailored for data engineering through the creation of specialized skills and agents.
Who we are looking for:
+2 years of experience building complex data pipelines and working with both technical and business stakeholders.
Ability to think creatively; highly driven and self-motivated
Master of SQL language regardless of the underlying data technology. Writes efficient, easy-to-read, and crisp SQL code.
Familiarity with Medallion architecture.
Experience with designing for scale and data growth in terms of storage and performance
Business and product understanding (why over what) and the ability to deal with ambiguity
Consistent track record of successful data projects delivered and managing their lifecycle
Potential to build rock-solid Python applications - writes understandable and maintainable code
Experience with cloud data technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud), such as Redshift, Spark, Trino, Iceberg, Airflow.
Knowledge and curiosity about other big data technologies and tools
Experience with analytics teams and translating business terms and KPI to technical requirements
Experience with defining and measuring data quality such as Monte Carlo or Great Expectations.
