About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
Note: this job post is for Fullstack Software Engineers only. If you are a Backend Engineer, please see our Backend Software Engineer post
here
.
About the role
We are looking for
fullstack
software engineers to help build safety and oversight mechanisms for our AI systems. As a software engineer on the Safeguards team, you will work to monitor models, prevent misuse, and ensure user well-being. This role will focus on building systems to detect unwanted model behaviors and prevent disallowed use of models. You will apply your technical skills to uphold our principles of safety, transparency, and oversight while enforcing our terms of service and acceptable use policies.
We have multiple teams that are currently hiring within Safeguards. Team placement occurs after the interview process, taking into account your interests and experience alongside organizational needs. This flexible approach allows us to match talented engineers where they'll have the greatest impact and growth potential.
Responsibilities:
Design and build the internal review tools analysts use to investigate abuse — dashboards, case queues, and evidence viewers that make high-volume, high-stakes decisions fast and accurate.
Build the interfaces where humans supervise agents: streaming output, interruption and approval flows, and clear provenance for every action an agent takes.
Surface abuse patterns to our research teams through the visualizations and exploration tools that make emerging patterns legible.
Own the frontend architecture for tools handling sensitive data at scale — performance under large datasets, correctness under real-time updates, and access controls enforced end to end.
You may be a good fit if you have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable experience
Proficiency in TypeScript and modern React; comfortable in Python for backend work
The ability to work across the stack
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong candidates may also:
8+ years of experience in a software engineering position, not including internships or co-ops
Have experience building data-dense internal tools or operator interfaces, not just marketing or consumer surfaces
Have experience with integrity, spam, fraud, or abuse detection and mitigation
Have experience building trust and safety detection mechanisms and intervention for AI/ML systems
Have experience with prompt engineering, jailbreak attacks, and other adversarial inputs
Have worked closely with operational teams to build custom internal tooling
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$405,000
—
$485,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Provectus is an AWS Premier Partner and an Anthropic Strategic Partner, working at the frontier of applied AI. We help enterprises turn Claude, agentic systems, and their own data into measurable business outcomes — through bespoke applications, managed services, and advisory engagements. With offices in North America, LATAM, and EMEA, we partner with clients worldwide.
Our work centers on two verticals — Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare & Life Sciences — where we deploy five pre-built AI Blueprints: Submission Flow, Portfolio Lens, Asset Flow, Revenue Flow, and Evidence Lens. Each Blueprint rebuilds a critical business process front to back, shipped from working code and tuned to a client's specific book, regulators, and operating posture.
Our team holds 100+ AWS certifications, is Claude Code certified, and co-delivers Anthropic's Agentic SDLC program, Cowork Activation, and AI Blueprint engagements.
Where this role sits
You will work in a senior pod alongside an FDE, an FDX, and Senior AI Engineers — contributing to real delivery work while building toward independent ownership.
Requirements:
Mindset
Proactive and self-directed; you push for clarity rather than waiting for a ticket.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable with some ambiguity, with support from senior team members as you take on more.
B2+ English, comfortable collaborating across distributed, multicultural teams.
Technical depth
Hands-on experience building or contributing to RAG systems, ideally in a production or near-production setting.
Solid engineering fundamentals; Python and/or TypeScript proficiency. Productive in an unfamiliar codebase with some ramp-up support.
Practical AWS experience (Lambda, S3, ECS, or similar); ready to grow into Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore .
Some experience with containers and CI/CD in real projects.
Exposure to evaluating non-deterministic systems — you've contributed to or run test/eval cycles, even if you haven't owned a full eval suite end-to-end.
Basic working knowledge of model/agent monitoring concepts.
Awareness of cost and latency trade-offs when working with LLMs.
Some hands-on exposure to the Claude ecosystem (Claude Code, CLAUDE.md, hooks, skills files) is a plus, or strong ability to ramp up quickly.
Practical experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or OpenAI) in real projects.
2+ years of software or ML engineering experience, including some exposure to production systems.
Solid AI/ML foundations — you understand what the models do well enough to reason about common failure modes.
Nice to Have:
Experience in one of the industries: financial services, insurance, healthcare.
Consulting, professional services, or other embedded customer-facing delivery.
AWS and Claude Code Certifications (or actively pursuing them).
A2A: Interest in agent-to-agent interoperability concepts.
CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Practical experience with one or more use cases from the following: NLP, LLMs, and Recommendation engines.
Experience in an additional language (Go, TypeScript, or Rust).
Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Kafkа.
Experience with the Claude ecosystem — Claude Code, CLAUDE.md, hooks, skills files. Spec-driven development — writing the intent, constraints, and acceptance criteria before you let an agent build.
MCP: you can say why an agent would prefer it to a REST integration, having authored a server is an additional plus.
Responsibilities:
Build and contribute to RAG system components under senior guidance, with growing autonomy.
Write tests and help build out evaluation harnesses for the features you work on.
Write production code across the stack (AI, backend services, data pipelines) with code review support.
Help integrate AI components into backend services and RESTful APIs.
Support deployment of systems to AWS (containerized, CI/CD), taking on more of this independently over time.
Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and client handover materials.
Participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions, with an eye toward taking on more of this independently.
Support model evaluation efforts and help investigate and improve failure modes.
Take on increasing ownership of components and technical decisions as you grow in the role.
What We Offer:
The chance to shape how leading enterprises across LATAM, Europe, and North America adopt AI, from strategy through first deployment
A forward-deployed model working in small, senior teams alongside FDE and FDX
A growing AI delivery practice where you help build the tooling and frameworks, not just use them
Remote-friendly culture
Internal training programs with full support for Claude, AWS, and other professional certifications, conference attendance
Career growth; we actively develop our engineers
Access to the latest AI tools and premium subscriptions
Long-term B2B collaboration
Private medical insurance or a budget for your medical needs
Paid sick leave, vacation, and public holidays
Equipment and all the tech you need for comfortable, productive work
How we hire:
Intro conversation. The role, your background and aspirations, tech questions.
Technical interview with live engineering sessions. Real problems, your own editor, you may use an LLM assistant
HR Interview. Soft skills and expectations
HM interview. Tech questions; a live engineering session is also possible

adjoe builds the technologies behind mobile apps growth and monetization. With our core product Playtime Arcade, we've become the global leader in rewarded advertising, an ad unit built on a simple premise: users earn real in-app rewards for engaging with new apps. The result is one of the most effective value exchanges in adtech, connecting advertisers and publishers with over 770 million users annually.
Architecting Intelligence to Optimize 200M+ Daily Decisions
As the intelligence core of our engineering organization, our Data Science team doesn't just deploy models, we engineer the fundamental decision engine that powers our platform. At a scale of 770 million users and 100,000+ predictions per second, we are solving a multi-objective optimization problem that balances user incentives, advertiser ROI, and long-term platform health in real time.
Our architecture is built on a 1PB+ behavioral data lake, providing the high-fidelity input necessary to train deep learning models that predict individual user engagement with precision. We aren't just optimizing clicks, we are dynamically calculating optimal reward structures to sustain a global value exchange.
Engineered for performance, our stack leverages PyTorch for model training, NVIDIA Triton to achieve sub-100ms inference. We own the full ML lifecycle from high-level research and feature engineering to deployment and A/B experimentation. Here, you will find the autonomy, the data depth, and the massive scale required to solve the most complex optimization challenges in the adtech ecosystem.
The data infrastructure behind this runs at real scale: 2TB ingested in real time every day, 100+ Airflow jobs and data pipelines, and ML models handling p99 latency of 100ms across 100,000+ predictions per second.
What you will do:
- Analyze and evaluate the performance of our machine learning models using user-level and aggregated data, identify inefficiencies and failure patterns, and turn findings into actionable recommendations for our Data Science teams.
- Investigate how our ML models perform in the real world and compare model assumptions and predictions with actual user and business behavior. Identify gaps between offline model performance and online outcomes and help the team close them.
- Define and improve metrics for measuring ML model performance and business impact, working closely with Data Scientists and Product Managers to ensure we optimize for the right outcomes.
- Design, prepare and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to measure the impact of new models, features and algorithmic changes. Assess statistical significance, experiment quality and practical business impact.
- Build dashboards and automated reports that make ML model performance, experiments and key business metrics transparent and easy to understand for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Act as a bridge between Data Science, Product and Business teams, translating business questions into analytical problems and turning complex ML insights into clear recommendations and decisions.
- Challenge product and technical decisions with data, bringing an independent analytical perspective to model development, experimentation and product strategy.
- Document your analyses, methodologies and findings and build reusable analytical approaches that can be applied across models and experiments.
Who you are:
- You have a degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, economics, analytics, or a similar quantitative field.
- You have 2+ years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Product Analytics, Experimentation, Data Science or a similar role. Experience in AdTech, mobile apps or ML-driven products is a strong plus.
- You have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy digging into data to understand why something happens, not just what happened.
- You’re proficient in SQL and comfortable working with large datasets.
- You have strong Python skills and are comfortable using them for data analysis and statistical modelling.
- You have a solid understanding of statistics and experimentation, including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, statistical significance and A/B test analysis.
- You have an understanding of machine learning concepts and model evaluation and are comfortable working with Data Scientists. You don't necessarily need to build ML models yourself, but you should understand how to assess their performance and limitations.
- You have experience working with model and business metrics, and can connect technical model performance to real-world business outcomes.
- You have excellent data visualization skills and experience building dashboards using tools such as QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau, Streamlit or similar.
- You are comfortable communicating complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

About the role
As Anthropic's models grow more capable, so does the interest of people who want to attack or misuse them. The Detection and Response (D&R) team spots those threats and responds to incidents across every layer of Anthropic's technology stack.
The team is early-stage, so you'll help build our detection and response capabilities from the ground up and work closely with our security and research teams.
Key responsibilities
Lead incident response across a range of domains, from external attacks to insider threats, spanning all layers of Anthropic's technology stack
Build and deploy tooling, including tools that use large language models, to improve how we detect and respond to threats
Create and tune detections, playbooks, and workflows to catch and respond to incidents quickly
Review incident response metrics and procedures, and drive improvements
Work across security and engineering teams
Take part in an on-call rotation
Minimum qualifications
Experience handling security incidents and investigating anomalies as part of a team
Working knowledge of EDR, SIEM, SOAR, or similar security tooling
A solid understanding of cloud environments and operations
Experience working with engineering teams in a SaaS environment
Proficiency with a scripting language such as Python and query languages such as SQL
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Able to lead projects with little guidance
Able to pick up new languages and technologies quickly
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of software engineering experience, or 7+ years of detection engineering, incident response, or threat hunting experience
Security operations or investigations involving large-scale Kubernetes environments
Experience analyzing attack behavior and prototyping high-quality detections
Experience with threat intelligence, malware analysis, infrastructure as code, or forensics
Experience contributing to a high-growth startup environment

WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a design engineer to help build and maintain Waypoint, our design system, across both the Figma library and the production codebase. This is not a "designer who codes a little" or an "engineer who dabbles in Figma" role. You should be genuinely fluent on both sides, comfortable defining a component's behavior and states in Figma one hour and shipping the same component to npm the next.
You'll take direct ownership of the Figma side of our library (structure, variants, tokens, documentation) while also contributing to the core Waypoint system: our component packages, our token pipeline, and the tooling that keeps design and code in sync. If the idea of being the single point of continuity between a Figma frame and a production component sounds exciting rather than exhausting, this is your role.
We're also thinking beyond the system we have today. Waypoint isn't just meant to serve designers and engineers, it's meant to become something a model can read, reason about, and build with directly. We want someone who can help us get there: grounded enough to do the unglamorous work of making today's system solid, and forward looking enough to help define what an intelligent design system looks like next.
WHY THIS ROLE
Waypoint is still early enough that the decisions you make now will shape how the system scales. You'll have real ownership, not just a queue of component tickets, and you'll be working alongside a team that treats design and engineering as one discipline rather than two departments that hand work back and forth. And you'll be helping define what a design system becomes when it has to serve a third audience: the models that will increasingly build with it.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and evolve the Figma library for Waypoint: component structure, variants, properties, and documentation, so it stays a reliable source of truth for design teams.
- Build and maintain core Waypoint components, contributing directly to our component packages alongside the design engineering team.
- Work across our token pipeline, keeping design tokens in Figma and their code representations (CSS custom properties, Tailwind config) tightly synced.
- Partner with product designers to translate new patterns into system components, and with product engineers to make sure those components are easy to adopt correctly.
- Help define and refine the workflows and tooling that connect Figma and code (sync scripts, plugins, documentation sites) rather than relying on manual handoff.
- Write clear documentation and usage guidance so the system scales without you being the bottleneck.
- Weigh in on system architecture decisions: when to add a new component versus extend an existing one, how to version and package changes, how to keep the system consistent as it grows.
- Help shape how Waypoint evolves to serve a third consumer beyond designers and engineers: the model itself. That means thinking about how components, tokens, and patterns get structured so they're legible to AI systems, not just to humans.

NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience building or contributing to design-to-code sync tooling (Figma plugins, token pipelines, MCP-based workflows, or similar).
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to bake them into components rather than bolt them on.
- Experience packaging and versioning component libraries for multiple consuming teams (npm scoped packages, semver, changelogs).
- Exposure to multi-platform design systems work (iOS/SwiftUI, Android/Jetpack Compose, or token build tools like Style Dictionary).
- Experience in an AI native product environment or genuine interest in how AI changes the way design systems get built and used.
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:
- A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch.
- Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health.
- RRSP matching, 401K, Pension Scheme.
- 100% Parental Leave top-up for up to 6 months, for either parent.
- Annual enrichment benefits:
Arts & culture, fitness/wellness, quality time, and a workspace improvement credit.
Education & learning stipend for conferences, courses, and coaching.
- 6 weeks of paid vacation (30 working days!)
- Budget for traveling to other offices if you are remote, plus an annual company offsite.
HOW AND WHERE WE WORK:
- Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon.
- For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events.
- For those not near an office: a co-working benefit so you can work alongside others in your city.
- Everyone receives a $500 home office stipend to set up your workspace properly.
If any of the above doesn’t line up exactly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply.
We strive to create an inclusive work environment for all; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/12a6IrLdF3kI2nonKSr4tiFuz18rLQbaeYV-JM9L4o9Q/edit, and we will work together to meet your needs.
We may use AI-enabled tools to screen and assess applicants against the criteria for this position. This helps our recruiters identify potentially qualified candidates, but it doesn't limit the applications our recruiters may review or consider.
Beware of Scams: Cohere will never ask for payment or third-party services (e.g., CV writing) as part of our hiring process.
About the role
Anthropic is growing quickly across EMEA, and we need recruiters who can help us hire exceptional people into the teams that bring our work to customers. We’re looking for a Recruiter, GTM to join our Talent team in Dublin and own full-cycle recruiting across our Go-To-Market organization, with a particular focus on Applied AI.
This is a full-cycle individual-contributor role. You’ll partner with Applied AI and GTM leaders to define what great looks like, build pipelines in markets where these roles are still new, and close candidates who have competing offers. Some of the roles you’ll run won’t have an established market benchmark, so you’ll help build the playbook as well as follow it. Priorities shift quickly, and you’ll have real ownership of the searches you run.
Key responsibilities
Own full-cycle recruiting for Applied AI and broader GTM roles across EMEA, with a focus on London, Paris and Munich, from intake through offer and close
Run intake sessions that scope the role, calibrate the bar, and challenge hiring managers where expectations don’t match the market
Screen candidates against the JD with enough technical judgment to separate strong from merely well-presented
Source and engage active and passive candidates, building diverse and competitive pipelines in markets where talent is scarce
Run structured, rigorous and candidate-centric interview processes that uphold Anthropic’s hiring bar
Work with the broader Talent team, People Partners and Compensation to structure offers and guide candidates to close
Own pipeline health, tracking conversion, calibration and time-in-stage, and use the data to give hiring managers clear recommendations
Help build and document the Applied AI and GTM hiring playbooks as the team scales
Minimum qualifications
4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a track record of closing strong candidates in competitive markets
Demonstrated experience recruiting GTM or customer-facing roles in the UK and European markets, with working knowledge of local talent dynamics, compensation norms and employment practices
Strong stakeholder partnership: you build trust quickly with senior hiring managers in fast-moving environments
Willingness and ability to build technical depth quickly enough to run credible intake sessions and screens for Applied AI roles
Proven ability to maintain quality under volume pressure and manage multiple searches at once
Comfort with ambiguity and with building something new rather than running an established playbook
Self-starter who works autonomously while staying aligned with global hiring strategy
Genuine interest in Anthropic’s mission and an understanding of the role recruiting plays in achieving it
Preferred qualifications
Experience hiring technical customer-facing talent (Solutions Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers, Sales Engineers, or Applied AI/ML-adjacent roles) at an AI, SaaS or high-growth technology company
Experience recruiting across Sales, Partnerships or Marketing in addition to technical GTM roles
Experience scoping roles that have no established market benchmark
Experience hiring across multiple EMEA markets, including the UK, France and Germany
Familiarity with Greenhouse or similar ATS platforms
Additional European language skills (French or German especially)
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
€125.000
—
€170.000 EUR
In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit
