Perplexity is looking for a dynamic and innovative contributor to join our team to help advance the business, improve the products we’re building, and revolutionize the way people search and interact with the internet. This unique role offers significant responsibility to apply and strengthen your technical background and combine your legal experience, and offers growth potential in other areas of an in-house practice group.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We seek a technical lead to join our legal operations team to drive infrastructure development across our legal and operations team and support our ambitious growth trajectory within our rapidly growing AI technology company. This unique role will report to the Legal Operations Manager and partner with the General Counsel and VP, Operations on strategic planning, architecting, delivering, and transforming high-volume legal workflows into scalable, automated systems. We're seeking a sharp, innovative technical operations professional with strong business judgment, practical problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of high-growth startup environments. Ideally, this person also brings legal expertise alongside technical know-how. You’ll build scalable processes and establish foundational systems that will scale with our growth. Success requires someone who is inquisitive, has entrepreneurial drive, and the agility to thrive in our fast-paced environment while shaping our non-technical orgs from the ground up at a cutting-edge AI technology company.
ABOUT THE ROLE
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect and build Perplexity's Legal and Operations Engineering platform — a coherent stack of agents, workflows, and evaluation infrastructure that replaces manual, high-volume legal work across commercial contracting, e-discovery, enterprise redlining, subsidiary governance, vendor onboarding, and litigation and matter management.
- Own the enterprise contracting automation system end-to-end.
- Ship the in-product legal surfaces built on Perplexity and Computer itself
- Consolidate today's ad-hoc legal bots, prompts, and scripts into a documented, observable, and reusable platform with clear conventions for personas, tools, evals, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
- Serve as the technical partner to the General Counsel. Translate complex, judgment-heavy legal workflows into engineered systems, and translate engineering constraints back to non-technical stakeholders.
- Evaluate, retire, or replace third-party tools where a purpose-built internal system gives us a structural advantage.
- Be the case study for forward-deployed engineering in non-engineering functions at Perplexity. Success here becomes the playbook for Legal, Recruiting, People, Workplace, and Operations.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 3+ years of backend software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems at meaningful scale.
- A working knowledge of legal concepts, with some experience in legal operations or paralegal work is desired.
- Strong business judgment and practical problem-solving; comfortable making operational calls with incomplete information and calibrating risk in real time.
- Track record building scalable processes and foundational systems from scratch, not maintaining a mature function.
- Fluency with modern legal tech and AI tools; disciplined human-in-the-loop practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work directly with senior legal, finance, and executive stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial drive, intellectual curiosity, and agility to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience at an AI-native, SaaS, or consumer technology company operating at Perplexity’s pace.
- Familiarity with e-billing platforms (e.g., Brightflag), matter management, CLM, and entity management systems.
- Comfort with ambiguity, rapid context-switching, and a builder mentality.

Are you an engineer who loves diving deep into ML models, building standalone CLI tools, and exploring how far AI agents can go in autonomous coding? Do you want to rethink how software is built and use the tools you create every single day?
About JetBrains
We create intelligent software development tools for developers and teams. More than 15 million users, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100 rely on our products to solve real, complex problems. Our mission is simple: make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale.
What you’ll do
We build Junie, our AI coding agent, available across JetBrains IDEs and as a standalone CLI. We're combining the latest advancements in AI and LLMs with our decades of software development expertise.
We are working in three main areas: growing Junie CLI into a general-purpose agent independent of any IDE, optimizing model ensembling and setups for the best cost-to-intelligence ratio without compromising code quality, and pushing next-level autonomy so Junie can own, maintain, and evolve entire subsystems over multi-day horizons.
You’ll have end-to-end ownership over these initiatives, taking work from early research to production code while shaping the future of autonomous development.
Day to day, you will:
Develop and ship new features for Junie across CLI and model integrations.
Experiment with model setups, ensembling, and cost efficiency strategies.
Build and test autonomous agent behaviors for long-term project maintenance.
Own the full development cycle from initial research to production-ready code.
Use Junie daily to continuously iterate on its quality and user experience.
What you’ll bring
Comfort taking full ownership of decisions and implementation.
The curiosity to challenge assumptions and experiment with new ideas.
The ability to learn new concepts quickly and adapt quickly.
A mindset focused on long-term impact rather than short-term workarounds.
Strong interest in autonomous AI systems and software engineering tools.
What you’ll need
A proven track record of developing and shipping machine learning or full-stack software products.
Hands-on experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows.
The ability to write high-quality production code across the full development lifecycle.
Practical experience building or fine-tuning ML models.
What success looks like
In this role, success means taking bold experiments in agent autonomy and cost efficiency and turning them into reliable, production-ready capabilities. You'll know you're succeeding when Junie can tackle complex multi-day engineering tasks autonomously and the tool you build every day actively improves your own engineering workflow.
Why join JetBrains?

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
We’re looking for a
Sr Software Engineer
to join the Platform Ops team (Platform Engineering) and enable developer productivity by building and improving developer tooling and environments, and by improving other productivity tools around observability. Our team builds the shared systems and workflows engineers rely on every day—internal developer environments and self-serve tooling that makes the recommended way to ship changes the easiest way. This is a platform tooling role with a focus is on reusable capabilities and self-service workflows adopted across teams.
You’ll also help develop AI-based workflows for productivity and efficiency, including automation that improves infrastructure operations (for example, faster triage, automated runbook steps, and better self-service for common issues). You’ll prioritize the highest-impact problems by looking at where time is being lost today (slow builds, flaky tests, manual release steps, repetitive operational work) and turning that into concrete projects. You’ll set clear success metrics up front and use them to guide design decisions and rollouts.
Expect to partner closely with engineering teams to drive adoption, document changes, and iterate based on feedback. You’ll drive cross-team work across internal tooling, developer environments, observability, and reliability, focusing on measurable improvements (for example: shorter lead time, fewer incidents, and faster recovery). You’ll add automation and enable developer workflows across all three major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
Over time, you’ll own medium-sized projects end-to-end: identify the highest-friction workflows with partner teams, build and ship improvements, roll them out safely, and iterate based on adoption and measurable outcomes (for example: faster builds, fewer flaky tests, shorter time to debug, and less operational toil). You’ll collaborate closely with Platform Engineering, Release Engineering, Security, and product engineering teams to make improvements that are easy to adopt and maintain.
What You’ll Do
Build internal tools and services in
Python
and/or
Go
Build tooling for our internal developer platform (self-service workflows, shared patterns, developer-facing interfaces)
Add automation and enable developer workflows across all three major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP)
Develop AI-based workflows that improve developer experience and reduce repetitive manual work, including efficiency gains in infrastructure operations
Improve developer feedback loops through better observability (metrics/logs/traces), making failures easier to diagnose
Automate common engineering workflows (scaffolding, environment setup, releases, operational runbooks)
Improve observability for platform services (metrics, logs, traces) to make issues easier to detect and debug
Integrate tools into existing workflows (CLI, Slack, GitHub, dashboards) where it reduces time-to-resolution
Participate in on-call/incident response as needed and drive follow-up automation to prevent repeat issues
Skills We’re Looking For
Professional software engineering experience in
Python
and/or
Go
Experience building developer productivity tooling (CI systems, build tooling, developer portals, workflow automation)
Experience with at least one cloud provider (
AWS
,
Azure
, or
GCP
)
Strong fundamentals: testing, code review, debugging, and operating production services
Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-team environment
You'll have an edge if you have:
Kubernetes experience
Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu), including reusable modules and safe state management

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a marketing professional who combines strategy and execution, owning demand gen programs and campaigns for the SMB sales segment and startups in Japan. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including the Japan sales org, Japan and global marketing teams, and external agencies—to plan and deliver programs that drive results.
In addition, this role supports growth of Notion’s startup program by building awareness and driving trial acquisition, partnering with the Global/APAC startup team to execute marketing activities and recruit partners.
You may also support other marketing initiatives to unlock the full potential of the business in Japan.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Develop a strong understanding of the Notion product and the SMB user/buyer journey to identify the highest-impact plays for the segment. Partner with SMB Sales leadership to set program priorities, define target audiences and goals, and align on campaign plans—proactively communicating progress, results, and learnings to stakeholders.
- Own end-to-end execution of events and webinars—from planning and logistics through day-of delivery and post-event lead management—translating the agreed program plan into flawless execution. Partner closely with SDRs to ensure timely follow-up, clean lead handoffs, and maximum pipeline impact.
- Execute demand gen campaigns in our marketing automation platform (e.g., nurture/engagement programs), including audience/segmentation setup and campaign builds, in coordination with Japan + global marketing teams on content and messaging (e.g., gated offers).
- Partner with APAC Marketing Ops and BizTech to keep GTM systems running smoothly (marketing automation platform, Salesforce, Outreach, Sansan)—including intake/ticketing, operational processes, and system governance (e.g., lead scoring changes, integrations, and best practices).
- Own lead and pipeline reporting for the SMB segment, tracking key KPIs and regularly assessing pipeline health to inform optimizations across programs.
- Increase awareness of the Notion for Startups program among early-stage startups and drive acquisition of startup trials through localized, high-velocity campaigns.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 5–7 years of experience managing and executing demand generation programs and campaigns for B2B companies.
- Proven track record of hitting aggressive growth goals by leveraging campaigns such as email and webinars, with expertise in end-to-end campaign development, execution, and measurement.
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, SFDC, Outreach, Sansan and Figma.
- Customer-centric and insight-driven. You understand the customer journey and each influencer in the decision-making process, and you use customer insights to design campaigns.
- Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills. You’ve worked closely with sales, content, SDRs and operations partners.
- Experience planning and executing webinars from start to finish.
- Previous experience working with global teams.
- Proficient in fluent-level Japanese and business-level English, both written and verbal.
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.
- A builder mindset
NICE TO HAVES:
- Be a Notion power user and are already an advocate for the tool.
- Track record of interacting with startup founders, VC firms, and incubators

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion’s global Outcomes organization is focused on helping customers achieve business objectives with Notion. As the Growth Strategy & Programs Lead, you will help design and scale the programs, operating rhythms, and cross-functional initiatives that make install-base growth more explosive and repeatable globally.
This is a high-impact strategy and programs role. You will create the clarity, structure, and execution systems that help the business grow existing customers more deliberately.
You will bring analytical rigor to how we understand growth, translate insights into scalable programs, and help teams execute with consistency while still allowing for local market nuance. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building a model, writing a crisp recommendation, aligning executive stakeholders, and turning a strategy into a practical field motion.
This role will be based in San Francisco. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
IN YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS, YOU WILL:
- Learn Notion's post-sales operating model, regional execution model, and current install-base growth priorities.
- Partner with RevOps, Data Science, Finance, Sales, Outcomes, and Services leaders to develop a practical view of the key drivers and leading indicators behind retention and expansion.
- Identify a focused set of priority growth programs or plays to support the business in the near term.
- Build the initial program plans, success metrics, stakeholder map, and operating cadence for those priority initiatives.
- Partner with regional teams to understand how global programs should be adapted for local execution.
- Create clear documentation, field-facing materials, and executive-ready updates that help teams align and act.
- Establish a repeatable rhythm for reviewing progress, capturing learnings, and improving
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Help build a clear, shared view of the drivers behind expansion and adoption across Notion's customer base.
- Design and scale global programs that support customer adoption, value realization, cross-sell, upsell, and durable growth.
- Partner with regional and functional leaders to turn local learnings into repeatable playbooks, programs, and operating cadences.
- Create measurement, reporting, and review mechanisms that help teams understand what is working and where to focus.
- Support the design of customer growth motions that connect Sales, Services, and Partners.
- Help codify best practices so growth becomes part of the standard operating rhythm, not a set of one-off campaigns.
- Bring structure to ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives and drive them from idea to operational execution.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Experience in management consulting, investment banking, business operations, or post-sales GTM operations.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; you can turn ambiguous business questions into clear frameworks, insights, and recommendations.
- Proven ability to design and manage cross-functional programs from strategy through execution.
- Strong stakeholder management across senior leaders and operating teams, with the ability to align people around a shared plan.
- Excellent written communication, including crisp strategy docs, program plans, executive updates, and field-facing materials.
- Comfort working in a global organization where programs need a strong central strategy and room for regional adaptation.
- Ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and bring structure to fast-moving, ambiguous work.
- Strong business judgment and curiosity about what drives customer adoption, retention, and expansion.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Familiarity with usage-based, consumption-based, or product-led growth models.
- Experience building or scaling global programs across multiple regions or customer segments.
- Exposure to pricing, packaging, services, partners, or monetization initiatives.
