Our financial system is broken. High fees, low rates, and too few ways to actually grow your money. We’re fixing it. And we’re moving fast.
We’re an all-in-one financial services platform that brings together banking, high-yield savings, credit cards, point-of-sale lending, investing, and crypto in one place. We also partner with employers, HCM providers, gig platforms, and others to deliver embedded financial services to millions of employees and frontline workers.
We’re backed by Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, and Ribbit Capital, one of fintech’s most respected investors, giving us rare scale, distribution, and the opportunity to build something truly category-defining.
But what really sets OnePay apart is how we move. Our customers don’t have time to wait… and neither do we. This place moves fast, and we’re looking for people who are:
- Ready to run
- Hungry and driven by urgency
- Exceptional at what they do, with low ego
- Comfortable operating in motion
THE ROLE
As a Finance Intern at OnePay, you’ll work alongside the Finance team and cross-functional partners to support financial planning, analysis, and operations initiatives. You’ll contribute to active projects by analyzing financial data, supporting reporting and forecasting efforts, and helping evaluate business decisions. On the Finance team we immerse ourselves in the data to get the facts, then partner with the Business to drive direct action for our customers.
- Team Integration: You'll be paired with the Finance team and work alongside FP&A, Accounting, and Treasury partners on day-to-day deliverables, gaining exposure to how a fast-moving fintech manages its books and plans ahead.
- Real-World Projects: You'll build and maintain financial models, assist with month-end close and variance analysis, and help prepare materials used in budget reviews and investor reporting. All of this is to drive action, everything we do must pass the “so what” test.
- Skill Building & Career Growth: Throughout the internship, you’ll attend workshops focused on technical skills, resume building, interview prep, and professional development. You’ll also have the chance to engage with company leadership during networking events.
- Mentorship: Receive guidance and feedback from your manager, as well as a dedicated mentor who will help you navigate your internship experience, ensuring continuous learning and growth.
YOU BRING
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree: You’re a current student expected to graduate in the Fall 2027/Spring of 2028 majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or have significant extra curricular experience related to Finance) .
- Prior Experience: You've completed at least one previous internship, or have built substantial personal or academic projects you're excited to talk through.
- Availability: This is a full-time, 8-week program running June 21 - August 13, 2027. You are available to work in our New York City office at least 3-4 days a week throughout the entire program.
- AI Native: You use AI daily in your work – Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc. whatever best fits the task. Your default for analyses and model building is to use AI from the start. You understand AI as a tool, where it is stronger and weaker, and how to check/test for accuracy.
- Proactive & Collaborative Attitude: You have an act-like-an-owner mentality, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and enjoy working with others to achieve collective goals.
- Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving Skills: You enjoy tackling complex challenges, analyzing problems, and developing solutions. Clear communication of ideas is one of your strengths.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: You’re a keen listener with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excited to Learn & Grow: You are passionate about being part of a rapidly growing organization and look forward to expanding your skills in a real-world setting. Added bonus if you are obsessed with the Fintech space and have a point of view on where it is heading next.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Early access to a high potential, high growth fintech

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a member of the Corporate Finance team, you'll own the consolidated view of Notion's financial performance — the corporate model, the monthly close-to-reporting cycle, and the numbers that reach our executive team, Board of Directors, and investors. You'll immediately take ownership of core corporate FP&A workstreams, which include the consolidated P&L forecast, the monthly budget-vs-actual and reforecast cycles, and the planning systems that produce them.
This role is based San Francisco. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Own the consolidated corporate model and the monthly reporting cadence — close actuals, budget-vs-actual, and the rolling reforecast — and connect reported performance to the revenue, headcount, and spend drivers behind it
- Maintain and evolve Notion's planning system, primarily Pigment: maintain the corporate model structure, run the monthly data loads and scenario snapshots, reconcile the P&L, headcount, and departmental views, and build new models and views as the business changes
- Assist in preparing and delivering presentations that effectively communicate Notion's financial performance and outlook to Notion's executive team, Board of Directors, and investors
- Raise the quality and scalability of our reporting infrastructure, using AI, automation, and stronger data workflows to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and surface insights faster — challenging existing processes and data inconsistencies that get in the way
- Work cross-functionally across Accounting, BizTech, People, and our Business Partnership (BP) Finance team to keep source data, mappings, and the chart of accounts aligned as operating complexity grows — tightening the handoffs between close and forecast along the way
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 2-5 years of experience across Investment Banking, Private Equity, Big 4, or corporate FP&A / Strategic Finance at a high-growth SaaS technology company
- Demonstrated ability to build and own rigorous financial models, ideally a three-statement or consolidated operating model for a recurring-revenue or SaaS business
- Hands-on experience with an enterprise planning tool (Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, Vena) or a clear track record of becoming fluent in new systems quickly
- Strong analytical judgment and the ability to move from detailed data to a clear point of view on performance, risks, and opportunities
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial audiences
- Ability to build finance processes from scratch and improve existing ones with a lens on long-term scalability and sustainability
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
By clicking “Submit Application”, I understand and agree that Notion and its affiliates and subsidiaries will collect and process my information in accordance with Notion’s Global Recruiting Privacy Policy https://notion.notion.site/Notion-Global-Recruiting-Privacy-Policy-fc3eb4e829354a26a2bb6fd5e289b550. https://dev.notion.so/a3ce416456924276a59de91bca740028?pvs=21

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS

Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. At ClickUp, we're building the future of work: the first truly converged AI workspace unifying tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search, all supercharged by context-driven AI. We are an AI-native company. Every team member is expected to leverage AI daily, and we evaluate AI fluency as part of our hiring process. Join us and help redefine what's possible. 🚀
About the Role
ClickUp is looking for an FP&A Manager to serve as the financial business partner across three functions: R&D, G&A, and Corporate. You'll own the full cycle of forecasting, month-end close, and budget vs. actuals reporting for each, partnering directly with department leaders and the accounting team. This is a high-autonomy role on a lean Strategic Finance team where you'll have real ownership from day one.
What You'll Do
- R&D: Own expense management, vendor and invoice approvals, headcount planning, non-headcount forecasting, cloud infrastructure cost tracking, and month-end variance analysis and leadership reporting.
- G&A: Drive expense forecasting, headcount planning, vendor approvals, and month-end close activities including variance analysis and BvA reporting for G&A departments.
- Corporate: Prepare board of directors, QFR, and investor-ready reporting decks. Manage billings actualization and forecasting, and deliver monthly finance readouts to executive leadership.
- Partner with Accounting through the monthly close cycle, including soft close, hard close, and results review with budget owners.
- Maintain rolling forecasts, provide variance commentary for material deviations, and lock forecasts on a monthly cadence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with recruiting, procurement, and department leaders on headcount and spend decisions.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate forecasting workflows, variance commentary, and ad-hoc analysis, setting the bar for AI-augmented FP&A on the team.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of FP&A or strategic finance experience, ideally in a high-growth SaaS/tech environment.
- Experience owning multiple cost centers or business lines simultaneously.
- Fluency in SaaS financial metrics (ARR, NRR, gross margin, CAC, CLTV) and the ability to connect operating metrics to financial outcomes.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and budget-to-actual analysis skills.
- Comfort with enterprise planning tools (Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar), ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), and procurement platforms (Coupa or equivalent).
- Experience preparing materials for board, executive, and investor audiences, distilling complex data into clear, actionable narratives.
- Ability to operate independently across multiple stakeholder groups with minimal direction.
- Strong business partnering instincts: you make department heads sharper, not slower.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a high-growth, pre-IPO environment.
- Genuine AI fluency: you actively use AI tools to accelerate modeling, analysis, and communication in your daily work.
- Familiarity with AWS/cloud cost tracking and COGS reporting.
- Experience with HRIS/ATS systems (Workday, Ashby, Greenhouse) for headcount management.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead global finance operations. Accounting and reporting, month end close, financial controls, regulatory reporting, local audit, and regulatory reporting all sit under you. You'll lead a team of 30+ professionals across 15 countries and be accountable for the quality, timeliness, and defensibility of everything that comes out of it.
Partner with the regional C-suite on what's next. Business strategy, exchange listings, infrastructure investment, and M&A — you'll be in the room, and you'll be the one putting numbers behind the options. Capital planning and investor relations sit with you, as do external partnerships that carry a financial dimension.
Price the decisions before they're made. New products, new markets, new licenses. Each one gets a financial evaluation from your team — unit economics, capital requirements, tax and regulatory cost, downside cases. Leadership should be able to trust that analysis without re-running it.
Tighten controls and risk frameworks across crypto and fiat. This is the part most finance leaders haven't done before. Internal controls, SOX readiness, audit, and global regulatory obligations have to work across digital-asset custody and movement as well as conventional banking flows. You'll build the frameworks that hold up in both worlds.
Own external relationships. Regulators, banking partners, payment providers. These relationships determine what the business can and can't do in a given market, and they need a senior finance voice who regulators and bank credit committees take seriously.
Standardize the plumbing. Global finance policies, a single reporting architecture, consistent close and consolidation processes.
Sit on leadership committees at both the global and local entity level, including boards and governance bodies where a licensed entity requires it.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional financial regulations and cryptocurrency market developments.
What We Look For In You
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Deep technical foundation in IFRS and US GAAP. CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent certifcation
15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a cryptocurrency exchange, fintech, or financial services company.
Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset accounting.
Expertise in financial regulations of various global jurisdictions (e.g., NYDFS, MAS, VARA, MiCA, FCA).
Proven experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) and automation tools.
Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience managing multi-currency operations and intercompany transactions.
Ability to lead and develop teams in multiple jurisdictions and work across different time zones.
