Job Description
About the role
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com is looking for an ambitious Staff Data Engineer to join our Data and AI Platform Team. Our team’s mission is to build a platform where you can create reliable, scalable, AI-powered streaming and batch data applications, and share data across Checkout.com http://Checkout.com to improve business performance.
The Data and AI Platform team is here to ensure internal stakeholders can easily collect, store, process and utilise data to build AI use cases and data products aiming to solve business problems. Our focus is on maximising the amount of time engineers spend on solving business problems and minimising time spent on technical details around implementation, deployment, and monitoring of their solutions.
We're building for scale. As such, much of what we design and implement today is the technology/infrastructure which will serve hundreds of teams and petabyte-level volumes of data.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stream processing technologies (Kafka and Flink) to build a continuously available large-scale event streaming platform
- Leverage subject matter and technical expertise to provide leadership, mentoring, and strategic influence across the organisation whilst building strong relationships with engineers and engineering managers
- Build tooling (modules/SDKs/DSLs) and associated documentation to foster the adoption of the streaming platform by enabling upstream teams and systems to easily publish data and deploy streaming applications
- Implement all the necessary infrastructure to enable end users to build, host, monitor and deploy their own streaming applications
- Provide consultancy across the technology organisation to drive the adoption of the platform and unlock event-driven use-cases
- Participate, translate, run and execute the collection of requirements and architecture/design initiatives into action plans
- Provide hands-on support for all event-based systems including incident triage and root cause analysis
About You
While experience with our specific tech stack is a plus, we welcome candidates with a strong background in data systems who are eager to learn. The core remit of this role is to own and scale our event streaming capability, not to serve as a general DevOps or infrastructure engineer.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with a proven track record of influencing engineering organisations
- Strong engineering background with a track record of implementing and owning event streaming platforms
- Hands-on experience working with stream technologies, ideally Kafka
- Experience designing and implementing stream processing applications with Flink
- Experience working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS (MSK, S3, Lambda, ECS, SNS)
- Experience with Kubernetes (either self-hosted or on the cloud)
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience working with Docker, container deployment and management
- Experience describing infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar) as well as designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent programming skills with at least one of Java or Python
Additional Information

Here, you’ll move fast, take on meaningful challenges, and be recognized for the impact you deliver. It’s a place where ambition gets met with opportunity, and where your growth is in your hands.
We work as one team, and we back each other to succeed. So whatever your background or identity, if you’re ready to grow and make a difference, you’ll be right at home here.

At ClickUp, we're building the future of work: the first truly converged AI workspace unifying tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search, all supercharged by context-driven AI. We are an AI-native company. Every team member is expected to leverage AI daily, and we evaluate AI fluency as part of our hiring process. Join us and help redefine what's possible. 🚀
ABOUT THE ROLE
ClickUp is hiring a Strategic Solutions Engineer to accelerate partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue across the APAC region. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise pre-sales, partner enablement, and solution architecture. You will serve as the technical force multiplier that enables upmarket partners (Solution Partners, GSIs, and enterprise resellers) to independently acquire, implement, and expand ClickUp within their customer base, driving ARR growth and net retention.
Your primary mandate is to increase the volume and quality of revenue that flows through partners, working alongside Partner Managers and Account Executives. You are a builder-scaler: standing up enablement programs from a proven playbook, iterating on them, and scaling them to drive repeatable partner-led revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner Enablement & Technical Development: Design and deliver structured enablement programs (workflow mapping, narrative decks, AI Agents, AI workflows, business process mapping, competitive positioning), coach partners on discovery, demos, solution design, and pricing, and drive partner certification and self-sufficiency across APAC.
- Co-Selling & Revenue: Serve as technical lead on partner-sourced deals from discovery through POC to post-sales handoff, coach partners to run standard deals independently, and tie all activities to measurable revenue outcomes (partner-sourced and partner-influenced iARR, win rate, deal velocity).
- Direct Customer Engagement: Support Account Executives on strategic direct opportunities, leading discovery, solution design, demos, and technical evaluations alongside the partner motion.
- Partner Acquisition & Development: Lead technical demonstrations and deep-dives for prospective partners, support recruitment as the technical closer, and elevate existing partners by showcasing new platform capabilities that expand their practice opportunity.
- AI & Certified Agents: Enable partners to identify, scope, and sell Certified Agent opportunities, deliver AI transformation workshops, and serve as the regional bridge between the internal AI/Agent team and the partner ecosystem.
- Events & Marketing: Lead or support partner-driven events (workshops, in-market tours, executive dinners), develop enablement content, and contribute to partner case studies and proof points.
- Reseller-Model Support: Support partner-owned billing, procurement, and renewal workflows, enable partners on expansion motions, and coordinate with Professional Services on co-delivery oversight and escalation paths.
- Internal Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Professional Services, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and global Solutions Engineering teams to resolve technical questions, assist with RFPs, and feed partner insights back into product and process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise pre-sales, solutions engineering, sales engineering, solutions consulting, or a comparable customer-facing technical role.
- 2+ years supporting or enabling channel partners, VARs, system integrators, or working in a partner-led go-to-market motion.
- Demonstrated ability to build programs from scratch (not just execute existing ones).
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to connect product capabilities and technical details to business outcomes for different audiences.
- Experience designing or explaining solutions involving APIs, web services, automation, integrations, workflow configuration, or lightweight technical validation.
- Strong background in business process mapping, including the ability to analyse, document, and improve complex business processes across diverse environments.
- Ability to create credibility with partners, AEs, and customers, handle objections thoughtfully, and act as a trusted advisor.
- Hands-on experience with AI & LLMs, integration platforms (Unito, Workato, Zapier, Integromat), web services, and APIs.
- Strong commercial judgment, structured problem-solving, and comfort managing multiple concurrent priorities with urgency and limited supervision.
- Up to 50% of travel is required for this role.
LOCATION
- This role is open to candidates across Australia, with Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane preferred.

Home services is one of our largest and fastest-moving markets, and we're looking for a Vertical Marketing Manager to own it. Think of the role as general manager for home services: you set the strategy, you own the number, and you're the company's go-to on this market.
You'll build the home services personas, positioning, and messaging, verticalizing our go-to-market narrative for this audience. From there you'll partner with demand generation, customer marketing, and content on how it comes to life, and work closely with sales, product, and leadership on what we build and say. Expect roughly equal parts strategy and execution.
Home services is not one market, though. A roofer, an HVAC contractor, a remodeler, and a landscaper run different businesses with different seasons, job values, and buying triggers. Building a real strategy for each priority subvertical, rather than one generic story, is where this role makes its biggest impact.
What You'll Do
You act like an owner.
Home services is your line of business. You know its performance, its risks, and its opportunities inside and out, and you carry the accountability that comes with it.
You bring an informed point of view.
You represent home services in cross-functional and leadership conversations, and your perspective carries weight because it's grounded in real expertise — what customers are telling you, what the data shows, what competitors are doing.
You advocate for what your market needs.
You don't wait for a door to open; you open it. When you see something we need in order to win in home services, you build the case for it, bring the rationale and the numbers, and champion it until it gets a real decision.
You go deep.
You're genuinely curious about this industry, its buyers, and the forces shaping it. You want to keep learning, testing, and refining what works.
What You'll Own
Home services strategy and business performance
Own the go-to-market strategy for CallRail's home services business, including which subverticals we prioritize, how we position and message to them, and the plan to hit our acquisition and revenue goals
Live in the numbers that define the health of the business: customers, new MRR, churn, ARPU, conversion rate, and product adoption. You'll spot emerging trends and issues early, work cross-functionally to understand what's driving them, and bring a plan when one is needed.
Report on performance to leadership with the insight and executive presence to explain what's changing, what it means, and what you're doing about it
Market and competitive expertise
Be CallRail's subject matter expert on the home services market: the buyers, the workflows, the seasonal and operational realities, the vendor landscape, and the economics of how these businesses grow
Own the home services buyer personas and the value propositions, positioning, and messaging built on them — the work that differentiates CallRail in an increasingly crowded lead engagement and AI voice market
Track the competitive set continuously: who's winning, who's new, where they beat us, where we beat them, and what we should do about it. Feed that intelligence to product, sales, and leadership
Regularly surface the headwinds and tailwinds shaping the vertical and translate them into implications for our strategy
Validate market requirements through customer interviews, surveys, win/loss analysis, sales insight, and usage data
Be the face of CallRail in the home services market: trade shows, industry speaking engagements, webinars, panels, podcasts, etc.
Subvertical strategy and expansion
Decide which subverticals we invest in and in what order, with a clear view of market size, our current traction, and where we're positioned to win
Build distinct strategies, positioning, and messaging for each priority subvertical.
Know the operational differences that shape how each subvertical buys
Build the subvertical-specific proof that makes the case credible — customer stories, benchmarks, and ROI framing that speak to that trade rather than to "home services" in general
Cross-functional leadership
Serve as the hub between sales, product marketing, customer marketing, demand generation, and product development, feeding market insight into each function and making sure everyone is marching in the same direction
Serve as the messaging authority for home services: consulting across marketing for campaign and content development
Pressure-test the work happening across teams against a simple bar: does it solve a real home services customer pain point, strengthen our competitive position, resonate with the segment we're targeting, and drive measurable results?
Partner with product development teams as the voice of the home services customer, bringing market insight that shapes the roadmap
Enable sales and support: train them on the problems we solve for home services buyers, and work with sales enablement to build the internal tools and external collateral they need
What You'll Need
BS/BA and 4–6 years of experience in a strategic marketing role, with direct experience in home services tech, the trades, field service software
A track record of owning a strategy end to end and being accountable for the results, not just executing someone else's plan
Strong analytical instincts and genuine comfort with data — you can get to the story behind the metric and build a case around it
Excellent written and verbal communication, and the confidence and presence to represent your point of view to senior leaders and to external audiences
Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional partners without formal authority
Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where you'll prioritize, make tradeoffs, and shift between strategic thinking and hands-on execution in the same day
If you do not meet all the requirements listed, we still encourage you to apply! No job description is perfect, and we may also have another opportunity that aligns with your skills and experience.

The Position
CallRail is looking for a
lead engagement platform: we show businesses which marketing drives their calls, forms, and chats, and we help them answer, qualify, and route those leads around the clock. We're looking for a Vertical Marketing Manager to own a portfolio of our emerging markets, with automotive at the center. Think of the role as general manager for that portfolio: you set the strategy, you own the number, and you're the company's go-to on these markets.
You'll build the personas, positioning, and messaging for these verticals, verticalizing our go-to-market narrative for each audience. From there you'll partner with demand generation, customer marketing, and content on how it comes to life, and work closely with sales, product, and leadership on what we build and say. Expect roughly equal parts strategy and execution.
Automotive is the priority. It's one of our fastest-growing segments, and the aftermarket — repair and service businesses, tire and quick-service shops, collision centers, and the parts suppliers and retailers who serve them — is where you'll go deepest. Alongside it, you'll own a portfolio of our emerging small business verticals. They sit at different stages and require different levels of investment, and determining where to focus is a core part of the role. What connects them is the customer: small businesses that win or lose on the leads they capture.
What You'll Do
You act like an owner.
These markets are your line of business. You know their performance, their risks, and their opportunities inside and out, and you carry the accountability that comes with it.

You go deep.
You're genuinely curious about this industry, its buyers, and the forces shaping it. You want to keep learning, testing, and refining what works.
What You'll Own
Portfolio strategy and business performance
Own the go-to-market strategy across your automotive & other SMB verticals: how we position and message to each audience, and the plan to hit our acquisition and revenue goals
Decide where your time and our investment go. These markets won't all need the same thing, and setting that balance — then making the case for it — is yours to own
Live in the numbers that define the health of the business: customers, new MRR, churn, ARPU, conversion rate, and product adoption. You'll spot emerging trends and issues early, work cross-functionally to understand what's driving them, and bring a plan when one is needed.

Own the automotive buyer personas and the value propositions, positioning, and messaging built on them — the work that differentiates CallRail in an increasingly crowded lead engagement and AI voice market
Build the proof that makes our case credible: customer stories, benchmarks, and ROI framing grounded in how these businesses actually operate
Track the competitive set continuously: who's winning, who's new, where they beat us, where we beat them, and what we should do about it. Feed that intelligence to product, sales, and leadership
Regularly surface the headwinds and tailwinds shaping the market and translate them into implications for our strategy
Validate market requirements through customer interviews, surveys, win/loss analysis, sales insight, and usage data
Be the face of CallRail in the automotive market: trade shows, industry speaking engagements, webinars, panels, podcasts, etc.
Your broader vertical portfolio
Own the positioning and messaging for the other emerging small business verticals, scaling the depth to the opportunity.
Keep a live read on each: where we're winning, where we're losing, and which ones are showing early signs of becoming a bigger bet
Size and pressure-test opportunities, in these markets and in ones we haven't entered: how big, how winnable, what it would take, and what we would have to be right about
Bring recommendations with a clear case for investing or passing. Knowing which markets to walk away from matters as much as knowing which to chase
Run early, lightweight tests where the signal looks promising — positioning, messaging, and proof — and build a repeatable approach the team can use the next time we look at a new vertical
Cross-functional leadership
Serve as the hub between sales, product marketing, customer marketing, demand generation, and product development, feeding market insight into each function and making sure everyone is marching in the same direction
Serve as the messaging authority for your verticals: consulting across marketing for campaign and content development
Pressure-test the work happening across teams against a simple bar: does it solve a real customer pain point, strengthen our competitive position, resonate with the segment we're targeting, and drive measurable results?

Enable sales and support: train them on the problems we solve for these buyers, and work with sales enablement to build the internal tools and external collateral they need
What You'll Need
BS/BA and 4–6 years of experience in a strategic marketing role focused on small business buyers, including direct experience marketing to automotive businesses
A track record of owning a strategy end to end and being accountable for the results, not just executing someone else's plan
Experience entering or evaluating a new market: sizing the opportunity, building the case, and standing up positioning where none existed

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As a Customer Success Manager on Anthropic's Public Sector team, you will be the post-sales trusted advisor helping national security customers realize the value of Claude and turn their investment into mission impact. You'll combine your customer success expertise with technical fluency to drive adoption of Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Government (C4G) on classified infrastructure delivered through a cleared cloud provider, while maintaining our high standards for safety, security, and discretion.
Working closely with our Sales, Applied AI, Product, Engineering, and Policy teams, you'll guide customers from deployment through enablement, model migration, renewal, and expansion. You'll develop genuine partnerships with customers' AI leadership, platform and compute teams, security and accreditation officials, and mission operators—and with the cleared cloud providers and system integrators that deliver alongside us. Your understanding of their mission, how they accredit and govern capabilities on classified fabrics, and how they evidence value to oversight will help them deliver decision advantage.
Drawing on both your national security expertise and technical knowledge, you'll serve as a strategic advisor throughout their journey with us—helping them navigate constraints that don't exist in commercial or federal civilian deployments: classified-fabric accreditation, fixed compute capacity, compartmentation, limited telemetry, and need-to-know discipline. Much of this work happens onsite, in the customer's spaces, on their systems.
Your role focuses on driving consumption and adoption of Claude across mission workloads, standing up enablement and change management suited to a cleared, mission-driven workforce, identifying and hardening the workloads that matter most to the mission, and demonstrating value in unclassified terms that can leave the building and support renewal and expansion.
The insights you gather will directly inform our research priorities, product roadmap, and national security strategy—making you a key voice in shaping how Anthropic builds and delivers AI systems for the most demanding missions.
Key responsibilities:
Partner with the account executive and Applied AI architect to deeply understand the customer's mission requirements and translate them into an account and success plan, ensuring alignment between mission objectives, the customer's investment, and technical implementation
Serve as the primary post-sales advisor to the customer throughout their Claude adoption journey, from deployment through enablement, model migration, renewal, and expansion. You will need to build trusted relationships across the customer's senior stakeholders—AI leadership, platform and compute teams, security and accreditation officials, contracting, and mission operators—and coordinate internally across multiple teams and with cleared cloud providers to drive customer success
Support customers building with Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Government on classified infrastructure—managed configuration, capacity and throughput planning, and workload onboarding—with a working understanding of accreditation requirements (FedRAMP High, IL5/IL6, classified-fabric accreditation)
Create and deliver compelling enablement and executive content tailored to different audiences. You will need to spread the gamut from hands-on Claude Code enablement for engineering teams (Train the Trainer, managed configuration as the "paved road," Center of Excellence development) up to mission-value conversations with senior agency leadership, in unclassified language that can leave the building
Help the customer develop evaluation frameworks and measure adoption and value without direct telemetry—provider capacity reports, customer-run dashboards, workload registries, and agreed leading indicators—and guide model migration and release readiness: eval gates built from their workloads, staged cutovers off end-of-support models, and realistic expectations about what lands on their fabric and when
Drive consumption and adoption: separate under-pacing from burst saturation of a fixed compute pool, smooth and onboard workloads before asking for capacity, discover new mission workloads across compartmented organizations, and document value realized in mission-outcome terms (decisions accelerated, coverage, timeliness, findings produced)
Own Executive Business Reviews that function as discovery and alignment—leaving executives with sponsor commitments, mutual next steps, and a mission-outcome narrative that supports the renewal decision—and serve as the primary conduit between the customer, cleared cloud providers, and Anthropic
Identify common adoption and integration patterns and hero workflows that demonstrate mission transformation, and contribute insights back to our Product, Engineering, Research, and Policy teams—while maintaining strict separation of classified and unclassified channels and escalating correctly (e.g., 'Claude cut a high-volume analytic triage queue from days to hours')
Work onsite frequently at customer facilities for enablement, workshops, and relationship building, on the customer’s systems and within their security and need-to-know rules
Maintain strong knowledge of the latest developments in LLM capabilities, agentic and Claude Code implementation patterns, and national security AI policy
You may be a good fit if you have:
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, this position requires U.S. citizenship and an
active TS/SCI security clearance with a current full-scope polygraph
(a TS/SCI with CI polygraph may be considered where crossover is supportable)
Must have prior experience working with US national security
(defense and/or intelligence)
agencies
—ideally at the level of AI leadership, platform, and compute teams rather than a single program office—and a working knowledge of how national security agencies accredit, budget, govern compute, and measure mission (including the difference between FedRAMP High, IL5/IL6, and classified-fabric accreditation, and the role of cleared cloud providers and system integrators)
5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles such as Customer Success Manager, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, or Consultant, with experience navigating complex stakeholder environments; able to work onsite at customer facilities in the National Capital Region 3-4 days per week
Experience driving success with consumption-based products (tokens, throughput, capacity) as well as seat-based products, including measuring adoption and value when you cannot see usage directly
Technical fluency with AI/ML concepts, API integration patterns, and agentic tooling such as Claude Code; familiarity with common LLM frameworks, tools, and evaluation approaches, and hands-on experience building something with an LLM API or coding agent, is a strong plus
Exceptional ability to build relationships with and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, from engineering and platform teams to security and accreditation officials to senior national security leadership
Judgment and discretion: never over-promises on dates, capabilities, or documentation; practices need-to-know as a reflex; keeps composure under political and competitive pressure; strategic mindset to identify mission transformation opportunities and translate them into actionable expansion plans
Excitement for engaging in cross-organizational collaboration, working through trade-offs, and balancing competing priorities—advocating for customer needs across internal (Applied AI, Policy, Research, Security) and external (cleared cloud provider, system integrator, program office) stakeholders
Passion for thinking creatively about how to use AI in a way that is safe and beneficial for the national security mission, and ultimately furthers the goal of advancing safe AI systems
A knack for bringing order to chaos and an enthusiastic 'roll up your sleeves' mentality—you're a true team player

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
Who we want
This is a role for someone who wants to work on a hard problem, deliver real impact and be pushed to be the best version of themselves. As a Strategy & Operations Manager, you’ll be embedded in the Strategy & Operations team and report directly to the VP of Strategy & Operations.
This talented and motivated self-starter will be responsible for executing a diverse array of strategic initiatives across the business, with a focus on areas of high priority for Garner’s leadership team. You’ll be responsible for deploying management best practices and have the chance to learn what it takes to operate in a high-performance and high-impact environment.
What you will do
Execute strategic projects across the business; dive deep into areas of high priority for Garner’s leadership team
Take on a portfolio of operational processes - that you will develop and deploy - in close collaboration with subject matter experts across Garner
Rotate through a variety of high impact initiatives providing you with broad exposure across the company
Support Garner’s strategic operating rhythm, including managing company KPIs and driving our annual/quarterly planning processes
Work directly with Garner’s leadership on high-visibility initiatives for the business
What we're looking for
2+ years of experience in a strategic problem-solving role; prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, or an early-stage startup environment.
A strong ability to break down unstructured problems into their component parts, recommend solutions, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to implement them
A combination of high ownership mentality and detail orientation that has resulted in a track record of delivering operational initiatives
Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize insights from complex data
Interest and/or experience working in healthcare, with a mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system
A desire to do work that matters: and to be held to a high standard while doing it. You're energized by a mission with measurable outcomes, not just good intentions.
What you’ll get here
You’ll work on problems that matter, in an environment that builds you faster than anywhere else through candid feedback and real ownership, alongside high achievers who genuinely want you to do extraordinary things. An overview of this role
As a Senior Backend Engineer, Performance Enablement, you'll make performance testing and analysis easier for engineering teams to adopt and own. You'll build platforms, tooling, guidance, and artificial intelligence-assisted workflows that help teams identify performance risks during development and before they roll changes out to production.
We're moving from a hands-on consulting model to a self-service model. Service teams own their performance tests, analysis, thresholds, and evidence. We provide the paved road, documentation, skills, and expert support for challenging problems and new capabilities.
This is a backend and platform engineering role with room to grow in scope and influence. You'll help shape how Performance Enablement supports engineering teams, using artificial intelligence thoughtfully to accelerate design, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and automation.
You'll support work such as:
Enabling modular feature teams, including Orbit and Artifact Registry, to run performance testing through their own development and continuous integration workflows
Building reusable performance tooling, including component-level testing, load testing, performance analysis, and artificial intelligence-assisted engineering skills
Improving performance results, reporting, and trend visibility so teams can make informed decisions from their own evidence
Establishing the documentation, templates, and guidance needed to expand self-service adoption across research and development
What you’ll do
Build and evolve reusable backend platforms and tooling for performance testing and analysis.
Create self-service workflows, documentation, templates, diagnostics, and artificial intelligence skills that reduce the need for bespoke support.
Use development practices that apply artificial intelligence to accelerate implementation, testing, debugging, and technical documentation.
Influence engineering teams to make performance testing part of normal development and release preparation.
Turn early hands-on engagements into generalized capabilities that many teams can adopt independently.
Provide technical expertise for difficult performance questions, tooling enhancements, and new platform capabilities.
What you’ll bring
Experience building backend or platform software.
Experience building internal platforms or developer-facing tooling.
Experience partnering with development teams to improve their day-to-day workflows.
Experience using development practices that apply artificial intelligence across the software lifecycle.
Experience with software performance, such as performance analysis, optimization, benchmarking, or leading performance-related improvements.
Practical experience with Kubernetes, k6, and Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or similar cloud infrastructure.
Experience building durable solutions that support broad adoption using systems thinking.
Communicate clearly in writing and influence teams without direct authority.
About the team
Performance Enablement is part of Platform Enablement within Developer Experience and Infrastructure Platforms. We help GitLab teams make performance part of the software lifecycle.
Our goal is to make performance a shared responsibility of service-owning teams while providing a strong platform and center of expertise when teams need help. We work asynchronously, collaborate broadly across research and development, and focus on building capabilities that scale beyond individual team engagements.
