OKX is part of OKG, a group that brings the value of Blockchain to users around the world, through our leading products OKX, OKX Wallet, OKLink and more.
About The Opportunity
The Compliance team's primary objective is to ensure that OKX operates in accordance with regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest ethical and moral standards. The team owns the full compliance engineering stack: KYC onboarding and refresh, sanctions / PEP / adverse-media screening, transaction monitoring (TM) and travel-rule enforcement, case management, and regulatory reporting. We achieve this by developing compliance service solutions, integrating with KYC & AML vendors, and enabling robust business growth, which ultimately strengthens user trust in our platform. Our ultimate goal is to create a culture of compliance excellence, where innovation and responsible business practices are seamlessly integrated. In compliance, a system that is mostly right is wrong — so every control we build must be deterministic in its enforcement, complete in its coverage, and explainable in its outcome.
What You’ll Be Doing
Formulate, select, and develop technical schemes for platform projects across the compliance domain — KYC onboarding flows, identity verification and refresh, sanctions / PEP / adverse-media screening, transaction monitoring, travel-rule, case management, and regulatory reporting — including AI/ML-powered features such as intelligent screening disambiguation, document verification, anomaly detection, automated risk scoring, and analyst-assist agents.
Organize and coordinate resources, leading project research and development, troubleshoot problems, and ensure quality and timely completion — including delivery of AI model integration work within KYC, screening, and monitoring workflows.
Facilitate cross-team communication and promote teamwork efficiency through code quality control and collaboration, including partnering with Data Science, Risk, and Legal to productionize models and ensure reliable, auditable inference infrastructure.
Define where probabilistic AI is appropriate versus where deterministic logic is mandatory — and design the boundary cleanly so models assist without compromising auditability or enforcement integrity.
Undertake team tasks and cultivate technical talents in the industry, with a focus on building AI engineering best practices across the compliance engineering team — patterns for agentic coding, prompt libraries, eval suites, and human-in-the-loop review of AI-generated work in a regulated environment.
What We Look For In You
A compliance-first systems mindset — you instinctively reach for state machines, idempotency keys, exactly-once semantics, reconciliation jobs and immutable audit logs. You understand that in compliance, false negatives cost millions and false positives cost trust, and you design accordingly. Prior experience in KYC, AML, sanctions, fraud, or payments is a strong plus; experience surviving a regulatory audit is an even stronger plus.
Daily, fluent use of modern AI coding tools — Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex CLI, or equivalents. You can describe the specific workflows you run, the failure modes you have hit, and the guardrails you have built around AI-generated code. AI fluency is required, not nice-to-have.
Production experience integrating AI/ML model inference into Java services — REST/gRPC-based model serving, feature engineering pipelines, latency-sensitive inference optimization, graceful degradation, and drift / rollback playbooks.
Hands-on experience with LLM application patterns — at least one of: RAG pipelines (vector store + retrieval + grounding) for policy / KYC / case lookup, agentic workflows (tool use, multi-step reasoning, validation loops) for analyst assistance, or LLM-based classification / extraction shipped to production.
Discipline around AI output — you do not ship LLM features without evals, hallucination tests, prompt regression suites, and human-in-the-loop review for high-stakes decisions. You have an opinion on when to reach for a frontier model vs. a fine-tuned small model vs. a deterministic rule, and can defend that trade-off to a regulator.
Exposure to LLM integration or AI agent frameworks is a strong plus — e.g. prompt engineering at the system level, RAG pipelines, or orchestrating AI workflows within a regulated environment.
Good understanding of software engineering basics, distributed system principles, including CAP, consistency, idempotency, and exactly-once vs at-least-once semantics.
Clear logic, quick thinking, and good communication skills — including the ability to write clearly for non-engineers (compliance officers, auditors, regulators).
AI Proficiency Expectations & Interview Process
AI fluency is a required engineering competency for this role, on the same level as ‘can write good Java’. We will assess it explicitly during the interview, and a strong showing here is a meaningful plus:
AI-augmented workflow demo — walk us through how you use AI tools day-to-day. The prompts, the tasks you delegate to an agent vs. write yourself, how you review AI-generated diffs, and how you measure the impact (commit velocity, defect rate, test coverage). Concrete examples beat slogans.
Live agentic exercise — a working session using the AI coding agent of your choice on a realistic compliance-flavoured problem. We look at how you scope, prompt, validate, and integrate AI output, not whether the agent gets it right first try.
Design discussion with a probabilistic twist — expect at least one system-design question where the right answer involves deciding when not to use an LLM, and how to design the deterministic fallback. We hire engineers who can defend that boundary.
Evaluation & guardrails — be ready to discuss an eval suite or guardrail you have built for an AI feature in production (e.g. an LLM-assisted SAR narrative drafting tool, an AI-assisted KYC document review step, or screening-hit disambiguation). If you have not shipped one, tell us how you would design it.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and education subsidy for employees' growth and development — including budget for AI tools, courses, and conferences
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
More that we love to tell you along the process!

About Hex Trust
Hex Trust is a fully-licensed digital asset financial institution building the infrastructure institutions use to operate in crypto. Custody, staking, capital markets, investment solutions, payments, fiat ramping, financing, and tokenization — all on one regulated platform.
Founded in 2018, we’re licensed across multiple jurisdictions (HK, SG, Dubai, SVG). As institutional capital moves into crypto and the RWA and payments narratives accelerate, we’re one of the few players who can serve institutions as a fully-regulated, one-stop-shop partner. We serve 600+ institutional clients globally: funds, family offices, banks, foundations, token issuers, payment firms, OTC desks, and corporates.
We’re well-capitalized, growing consistently, and built on a sustainable model. We operate 24/7 from hubs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, and Vietnam.
You’ll work alongside a senior commercial team, own real institutional relationships, and get exposure to the most active parts of the market. We’re scaling fast. If you want to sell into the institutional side of crypto at a firm that’s actually licensed to do it, this is the place.
Position Summary
This is a senior originator seat owning Hex Trust’s institutional financing book. You will scale our lending book by sourcing both sides of the market: institutional borrowers (funds, market makers, prop desks, treasuries, corporates) and lenders (family offices, HNW, balance sheets, and institutional liquidity providers) and structuring the trades that connect them.
The role is P&L-accountable from day one: origination, structuring, pricing, and ongoing counterparty coverage. You will own the financing book end-to-end and work hand-in-hand with risk, legal, and product to build a scalable, capital-efficient lending business across digital assets.
We expect the person in this seat to grow the desk into a meaningful contributor to Hex Trust’s revenue mix and, over time, to build and lead a financing team underneath them.
Duties & Responsibilities
Originate and execute institutional crypto lending, borrowing, and financing transactions — collateralized loans, margin financing, repo-style structures, basis and yield-enhancement trades.
Build and scale the lending book: grow assets under loan, optimise utilisation, and expand the spread Hex Trust earns across the financing stack.
Develop and own borrower relationships across hedge funds, market makers, OTC desks, prop trading firms, miners, and corporate treasuries.
Work closely with the institutional sales team to strengthen relationships with existing clients and push/cross-sell financing products.
Structure, price, and negotiate commercial and credit terms in partnership with risk, credit, treasury, and legal; own term sheets through to execution.
Partner with risk and operations on counterparty onboarding, margining frameworks, collateral management, and exposure monitoring.
Maintain financing pipeline hygiene and HubSpot CRM accuracy; produce weekly pipeline, activity, and revenue reporting for management within Hex Trust.
Represent Hex Trust at industry conferences, client events, and on panels; act as a public face of the Hex Trust team
Requirements
Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in institutional financing, securities lending, prime brokerage, repo, or crypto lending — at a bank, broker-dealer, prime broker, or crypto-native lender.
Proven track record originating and growing a lending book is required.
Existing network of institutional borrowers and lenders that can be activated from day one.
Deep understanding of collateralized lending mechanics: LTVs, margining, haircuts, liquidation, rehypothecation, tri-party structures, and credit risk — including hands-on familiarity with risk/collateral dashboards such as Haruko.
Strong commercial and structuring instincts; able to price risk, negotiate term sheets, and close complex transactions.
Credit-aware and risk-disciplined; comfortable working closely with risk, and legal on borrowing/lending decisions.
Crypto-native, or a TradFi financing professional with a demonstrated bridge into digital assets. Comfortable discussing custody, collateral segregation, on-chain settlement, and stablecoin mechanics.
Strong written and verbal communication in English.
Fluency in Mandarin is a strong plus
Highly comfortable with AI tools (Claude or similar) and modern workflows; uses them to move faster on origination and analysis.
Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai onsite or 100% remote; full-time position.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Solve for the customer: We serve multiple stakeholders – People looking for help from our Agents via chat & voice, CX managers using our tools to monitor and improve the process, and Developers looking to build on and extend our platform. Each of these has a unique set of needs and product challenges.
- Innovate: AI Agents represent a new frontier. Discovering new tools and processes for building agents will be among the defining characteristics of the next generation of companies.
- End-to-End Ownership: Drive the entire design process from concept to execution to iteration, in close collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely engineering, product, leadership, and the entire company to define and build a seamless and cohesive experience.
- Gather Feedback: Get your hand dirty with customer feedback and usability testing to gather insights and iterate to ensure we solve user problems effectively.
- Build Design Systems: Develop and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistency and efficiency across all products and platforms.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Proven Experience: Extensive experience in UI/UX design, with background leading design projects from ideation to launch.
- Curiosity: Passion for deeply understanding user needs and finding the right solutions from first principles.
- Full-Stack Design: Visual design is the baseline. You should be fluent in creating beautiful, high-quality designs—working end-to-end from shaping product direction to defining the right interactions and ensuring every pixel is crafted with care.
- Great Collaboration: Design is a team sport, and building great products means working closely with product, engineering, and leadership to help bring ideas to life.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate problems, design concepts and decisions to various stakeholders.
- Research Skills: Experience gathering customer feedback, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
- Technical Proficiency: Fluent in Figma and comfortable picking up new tools quickly, especially AI tools. You use them every day to explore more ideas, prototype faster, and push your work further, and you know when your own judgment needs to take over.
- Adaptability and Resilience: Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment, able to adapt to changing priorities and handle ambiguity with grace.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience designing for AI-driven products or conversational interfaces.
- Experience working on developer-driven products, including SDKs, APIs, and technical tooling.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

About
Customer.io
Over 9,000 companies — from scrappy startups to global brands — use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day.
Customer.io
powers automated communication that people actually want to receive. We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data.
About the role
Hi, my name is Matt Wensing, VP of Product & Design at
Customer.io
, and I'm looking for a Principal Product Designer. Principal Product Designer is the highest individual contributor design role at
Customer.io
. This person shapes the design vision for the company and influences how design is practiced here — through their own craft, through the standards their work sets, and through the partnerships they build with product and engineering leadership.
Customer.io
is in a transformational moment: executing against a strong current product while redesigning what the product is and how it's experienced by a new generation of builders. This role has to straddle both — delivering quality and coherence in what exists today while driving the vision for where things go.
This is not a management role, but it's a leadership role in the fullest sense. Their influence is felt company-wide — in the product, in the culture, and in who we hire.
About you
You have a fully formed point of view on how AI changes what software means — for the people who use it, the people who build it, and the agents that increasingly operate it. You have the conviction to put that view to work across a product and an organization. You lead through clarity and example, give candid feedback that improves the work, and operate with humility and curiosity even outside your own expertise.
What we value
Leads through clarity and example, not control.
You shape culture through your own practice — not top-down direction.
Candid craft feedback.
You give feedback that improves the work, even when it's uncomfortable.
Humility and curiosity.
You operate with openness, especially in areas outside your expertise.
Amplifying others.
You raise the impact of people across the whole company — not just the design team.
Bias for craft.
You stay close to the work by choice, and that proximity is how you lead.
Some things you'll do
Shape and communicate a design vision for
Customer.io
's product as a whole
— the coherent, long-range picture of what excellent looks like for our customers, brought into rooms where product direction gets set
Drive the strategic direction of Pluma
, our design system — architecture, evolution, deprecation decisions, and the principles that govern how it scales
Close the gap between design intent and shipped product
— stay close enough to implementation to catch divergence, and fix it directly when code is the right tool
Design for builder and developer audiences
— CLI-native flows, API-first onboarding, and interfaces built for people who type before they click
Lead the design of agentic and human-AI surfaces
across the product — develop the philosophy and advocate for the standards
Partner with product and engineering leadership on product strategy
— bring design into the conversation before direction is set, not after
Develop and advocate for
Customer.io
's AI product design philosophy
as a framework the whole team builds from
Lead design review for major initiatives
and bring accountability for quality and coherence across what ships
Develop Staff designers
through direct mentorship, critique, and the clarity of your own example
Contribute to hiring and calibration
— assess candidates with conviction and help the team develop a shared language for what excellent looks like
What we're looking for
10+ years of product design experience
with a portfolio demonstrating design vision and organizational impact, not just individual craft
Track record of
shaping design direction at the company level
— influenced what gets built and why, not just how it looks
Designed for developer and builder audiences
— CLI, API-first onboarding, or infrastructure-native products
Developed point of view on AI and agentic product design
— has shipped AI-native interfaces and can articulate a philosophy on interaction models for agentic and delegated use
Contributed to a design system at the strategic level
— shaped what it should be and shouldn't be, and advocated for those decisions over time
Operates with influence without authority
— track record of aligning product, engineering, and exec leadership around a design direction without a management title
Has raised the craft bar at an organizational level
— through critique culture, standards, and the example others internalize
Executive-level communication
— connects design decisions to customer impact, product differentiation, and business outcomes
B2B SaaS depth
— understands complex, data-heavy products and has opinions about where the interaction model breaks
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in transparency. The starting salary for this role is
$245k-$276k USD
, depending on experience and subject to market-rate adjustment. In addition to base salary, this role includes an equity grant in the form of stock options, so you share in the success you help build.
We know our people are what make us great, and we're committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including
100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family
. We also offer
16 weeks of paid parental leave, unlimited PTO
, stipends for remote work and wellness, a professional development budget, and more.

Our Process
No gotchas, no trick questions — just a clear, human process designed to help both of us make an informed decision.
30 minute call with Recruiter
45 minute call and portfolio review with Hiring Manager
30 minute call with cross-functional partner
60 minute design case call with members of the design & tech team
All final candidates will be asked to complete a background check and employment verifications as part of our pre-employment process.
