- Assist with quality assurance and mentor Analyst I colleagues by providing guidance and support, particularly on complex investigations.
- Educate merchants and relevant stakeholders on fraud and dispute-management practices to support effective risk mitigation.
- Create and communicate clear reports to relevant stakeholders on merchant risk concerns, investigation outcomes, and recommended actions.
- Use AI tools effectively and responsibly to support research, analysis, documentation, and operational efficiency, while applying appropriate human judgement and oversight.
- Suggest innovative ideas and provide feedback to enhance processes, controls, tools, and infrastructure, striving for continuous improvement in risk-monitoring operations.
What you will need to be successful (skills and competencies)
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Risk, Management, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrable knowledge or experience in the payment processing industry, e-commerce, acquiring risk, fraud and dispute management, and card schemes’ rules.
- Proficient in managing structured processes and consistently identifying opportunities to streamline approaches and improve operational efficiency.
- Exceptional analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed, risk-based decisions in complex and time-sensitive situations.
- Skilled at working collaboratively and communicating effectively, with the ability to positively influence stakeholders across various departments.
- Capable of adapting to fast-paced and agile settings while managing demanding timelines, priorities, and schedules.
- Proficient in English; additional fluency in French is a plus.
- Demonstrates acute attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and effective time management.
- Strong mentoring and training abilities, with the confidence to guide and support less experienced analysts.
- AI fluent, with the ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs critically and use AI tools effectively and responsibly in risk-monitoring activities.
Experience you will bring to the role:
- As an Analyst II, you are expected to bring your experience in performing relevant analyses and conducting investigations for suspected fraudulent merchants and action flags in a timely manner.
- You should possess strong verbal and written communication skills to document and articulate the requirements, analysis and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to the stakeholders and customers.
- You must have a solution-driven approach with exemplary investigative and critical thinking skills.
- You must also be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, working independently with little supervision, and possessing good decision-making, time management, and organizational skills.
- You will assist in mentoring and guiding junior analysts, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development. You should also possess the ability to escalate and resolve complex issues and questions, serving as a primary point of contact for such matters.

The Role
Nex is scaling fast, and we’re looking for a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead our US TA team through it. You’ll drive how we find, engage, and win top talent across technical and non-technical functions, including GTM, Creative, and G&A, while building a high-performing team and recruiting engine that keeps pace with our growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on speed and ambiguity. You’ll partner closely with business leaders as a trusted advisor on talent strategy and workforce planning. You’ll challenge assumptions and push for data-informed hiring decisions.
You’ll lead and develop the recruiting team, driving execution, performance, and consistent hiring standards. You’ll also lead complex technical, GTM, G&A, and executive searches yourself. The goal is a talent function that moves fast without compromising on quality.
What You'll Do
The role is about 60% hands-on recruiting and 40% people leadership. As we scale, expect the balance to shift toward leadership.
Recruit directly for executive, senior leadership, and hard-to-fill roles across technical, GTM, and G&A functions, from market mapping through closing.
Lead the day-to-day of the US Talent Acquisition team, keeping recruiting priorities, resources, and capacity aligned with changing business needs.
Coach, develop, and grow a team of recruiters. Set goals, drive accountability, and build their business acumen and influencing skills, while creating a team culture of ownership and continuous learning.
Deliver against quarterly and annual hiring targets, with proactive pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
Own the talent attraction strategy, using competitive intel, market research, targeted sourcing, and activations to build top-of-funnel pipeline in competitive markets.
Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and business leaders on talent availability, market conditions, compensation expectations, and hiring approach.
Challenge hiring assumptions and influence decisions on role requirements, leveling, interview process, and candidate selection.
Use data to spot talent trends, benchmark against competitors, measure how well each sourcing channel works, and flag hiring risks and bottlenecks before they affect the business.
What You Bring
8 - 10+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 - 5 years managing and growing recruiting teams at a company in rapid growth.
A proven track record of leading complex executive, senior-level, and hard-to-fill searches across technical, GTM, Creative, and G&A functions.
Hands-on experience designing sourcing and talent attraction programs from the ground up. You’re fluent in employer brand, recruitment marketing, and modern recruiting tech, including LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS/CRM platforms, and AI-powered sourcing tools.
Comfort with numbers. You use recruiting data to understand what’s working, anticipate hiring demand, and give leadership clear, actionable recommendations.
Strong influence with senior leaders. You build credibility quickly, give candid advice, and aren’t afraid to challenge a hiring decision when it matters.
A solid understanding of US recruiting compliance, and experience partnering with People, Legal, and other stakeholders.
You thrive when things are moving fast: you’re comfortable with shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rolling up your sleeves.

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Generalist - someone who can independently own a wide, fast-changing mix of senior stakeholder support, HR projects, and recruitment, and who is genuinely excited about using AI to make HR work better.
This is not a narrow, single-track HR role. You'll sit in on a reorg conversation with stakeholders, drive an HR project and source candidates for an open role — sometimes all in the same week. We need someone who finds that variety energizing rather than exhausting, who can be handed ambiguity and turn it into a plan, and who wants to be a part of an ever changing environment with exciting challenges
What You'll Do
Own sourcing for a defined set of open roles, building and managing candidate pipelines
Conduct interviews as needed, from initial screens through to more active involvement in the hiring process
Participate in and help drive core HR initiatives, like talent reviews, EU Pay Transparency Directive implementation, and process/tooling improvement projects
Bring an AI-first mindset to how HR processes and tools evolve, and help identify where automation and AI can remove manual work
Actively build your own AI skills and help evolve how the wider HR function uses AI tools
Act as a trusted backup to the Global HR team
Support business unit transformations and reorganizations
Step in and represent HR credibly in the Head of HR's absence
Advise people managers on day-to-day and complex people questions: performance, conflict, structure, policy application
Provide ad hoc employee advisory and support as issues arise
Requirements
Solid, hands-on HR experience across various fields e.g business partnership, generalist recruitment, HR project delivery, and employee/manager advisory
Comfortable moving fluidly between strategic project work and hands-on tactical tasks, including recruitment sourcing
Strong stakeholder management skills
Good understanding of AI and its practical applications in HR, with hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude); experience with automation tools like n8n is a plus, though not required
Genuine interest and active engagement with building your own AI skills and helping evolve how HR uses AI
Strong self-management: you can take ambiguous, cross-functional work and run with it independently, with minimal oversight
Capacity and appetite for a large, varied workload — you're energized by having a lot on your plate, not drained by it
Nice to Have
Experience working in a scaling, multi-entity, or cross-border organization
Familiarity with workflow automation for HR processes (e.g., n8n or similar tools)
Benefits
Work on your terms:
Fully remote, with a flexible schedule built around getting things done, not clocking hours.
Rewarded for impact:
A competitive base salary plus a performance-based bonus, formalized through a service agreement.
Time to recharge
: Paid time off, because sustainable output beats burnout.
Opportunity most HR careers don't offer
: You won't be boxed into one lane — you'll build real, hands-on depth across business partnership, projects, recruitment, and employee advisory, all at once.
A front-row seat to AI in HR:
Direct exposure to how AI is reshaping the function, plus real support and opportunity to build skills that will define the next decade of HR work.
