From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.

So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.

The role & impact
As an Engineering Manager, you will own the roadmap and strategy for your team end-to-end, setting direction, making prioritisation calls, and driving the delivery of high-quality software through high-performing, inclusive teams.
You won't just manage the work; you will be a genuine technical voice in the room, leading system design discussions, navigating architectural trade-offs, and shaping how the team evolves its technical foundations. Your impact spans both delivery velocity and technical excellence. You will actively contribute to critical engineering decisions, from system architecture and platform design to build-vs-buy trade-offs, while championing AI-native workflows and guiding your team to hone their craft in ways that deliver meaningful business and customer outcomes.
The team
You will lead a coordinated platform or product-focused team where building trust through transparency and seeking diverse perspectives are core to how we work. As an equal partner with Product and Design, you will co-own the strategic direction of your domain — resolving dependencies early, influencing product thinking with technical insight, and creating a sustainable environment where engineers can do their best work.
We’re currently recruiting for three teams in NZ - Payments, Small Business Experience and Inventory.
The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on:
Payments
You'll be leading a high-performing 6-7 person engineering team based in Auckland that manages some of Xero's most critical products. This is a role for someone who thrives in a high-stakes environment and wants to modernize legacy systems while maintaining a relaxed, collaborative team culture.
Inventory
You'll lead a distributed 9-person engineering team across Auckland, Wellington, and remote NZ locations. Inventory is on a mission to help small and mid-sized product-based businesses keep their accounting accurate and simple. You'll own a team that's directly responsible for closing critical gaps in functionality and modernizing core systems—with tangible feedback from customers proving the impact of your work.
This is a role for a technical leader with strong operational mindset and a track record of delivering and maintaining high-availability systems.
Where and how you can work
This role can be based in Auckland or Wellington in New Zealand, with some scope for remote NZ location for one of the engineering teams. We offer a hybrid working model that balances local team presence with a global scope of work. You will have the flexibility to work from home while connecting with your colleagues in our modern office spaces during designated boost days.
Here are some of the things we are looking for
- You champion AI-native practices in engineering (AI-assisted PR reviews, code generation, tooling, agentic workflows) and turn experimentation into durable practice.
- You bring a proven track record of owning and delivering software roadmaps end-to-end in agile environments, including managing complex dependencies and making strategic prioritisation decisions.
- You have deep experience in software architecture and system design, with the confidence to lead technical trade-off discussions and steer teams through significant modernisation efforts.
- You have a passion for providing high support through coaching, mentoring, and advocating for the career progression of your engineers.
- Your approach to leadership involves making fast, decentralised decisions and empowering your team to take ownership.
- You possess the ability to lead through influence, building strong partnerships across Product and Design; contributing technical perspectives to shape shared strategy, not just align to it.
- A bias for action is part of your DNA, allowing you to proactively redirect focus when work isn't moving the needle on business outcomes.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
About the role:
We are seeking an exceptional Director of Product Marketing to lead go-to-market strategy and execution across Garner's product portfolio and priority customer segments. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you will own the strategy, messaging, and launch execution for a book of product lines while helping set the operating model and standards for the broader product marketing function.
You will drive the narrative around Garner's differentiated approach to healthcare economics - translating complex data and clinical insights into compelling value propositions that resonate with benefits leaders and health systems. You will serve as a senior strategic partner to Sales, Product, and executive leadership, mentor other product marketers, and have direct, measurable impact on revenue generation and market positioning.
Where you will work:
This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:
Own end-to-end go-to-market strategy across a portfolio of product lines - including market segmentation, value prop development, competitive positioning, and messaging architecture. You’ll translate complex healthcare economics and data insights into narratives that drive customer acquisition and expansion
Lead major product launches and feature releases, owning a repeatable launch process and working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure market readiness, sales enablement, and customer adoption
Set the standard for data-driven marketing plans with clear KPIs (pipeline generation, win rates, deal velocity, positioning lift) and run regular business reviews to measure impact and drive iteration
Partner with RevOps and Sales leadership to analyze revenue processes, develop segment-specific go-to-market approaches and competitive playbooks, and equip external-facing teams with tools that directly improve close rates and deal velocity
Mentor and develop product marketers, raising the bar on craft, and help shape the structure, priorities, and operating rhythm of a growing product marketing team
Build and maintain a deep understanding of the healthcare benefits and provider landscape - including buyer personas, economic drivers, regulatory landscape, and key decision-making criteria
Collaborate with Product leadership to inform product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and feature differentiation based on market insights, customer needs, and competitive gaps
Own thought leadership and content strategy, working with internal and external resources to establish Garner as the authoritative voice on healthcare economics and benefits optimization
The ideal candidate has:
8+ years in B2B product marketing, including 3+ years leading product marketing strategy at scale
A track record of launching products and leading strategic repositioning initiatives at companies with high-caliber customers (Fortune 500, sophisticated tech buyers, etc.)
Exceptional analytical skills — you are comfortable building and interpreting financial models, conducting cohort analysis, and using data to drive marketing decisions and validate assumptions
Deep comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action; you thrive in fast-growing environments where you must move quickly while maintaining intellectual rigor
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences (executives, clinicians, benefit managers)
A demonstrated ability to lead and partner across functions — you influence without authority, synthesize diverse perspectives, and build credibility with Sales, Product, and Executive teams
Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in healthcare economics, benefits design, and/or data-driven decision making; you ask the right questions and never accept surface-level explanations
A desire to be part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative leadership role, helping shape the future of healthcare.
Compensation Transparency:
The target salary range for this position is $250,000 - $280,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k) with company match, flexible spending accounts, Teladoc Health and more.

You will translate Product Partnerships priorities into clear portfolio plans, coach the team to deliver excellent partner outcomes, and build the operating rhythms, standards, and cross-functional alignment that allow the organization to scale. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong people leadership with product judgment, operational rigor, and a track record of bringing complex technology partnerships to life.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
Lead, coach, and develop an initial team of 3-5 Partner Managers who own product-area portfolios and scaled partnership programs; set clear expectations, provide actionable feedback, and support strong performance and career growth
Partner with the Director of Product Partnerships to translate organization-wide strategy and priorities into focused portfolio plans, resource allocation decisions, and measurable goals for the team
Create leverage across the organization by ensuring Partner Managers can independently drive day-to-day partner strategy, execution, communications, and decision-making, while maintaining a high and consistent quality bar and communication about their work
Oversee the health and impact of the team's partner portfolio, helping partner managers prioritize the highest-value opportunities and guide strategy, unblock complex workstreams, and navigate risks, tradeoffs, and escalations
Build strong relationships with leaders across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Research, Operations, Finance, and Legal to align partnership priorities with company and product goals
Define and track portfolio-level success metrics, review progress with the team, and deliver concise business updates to Partnerships leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Serve as the primary point of escalation and step into the highest-leverage partner moments when leadership, negotiation support, escalation management, or cross-functional alignment is needed, while preserving clear ownership for the Partner Manager
Help evolve the Product Partnerships organization as it grows by improving processes, clarifying roles and decision rights, and supporting hiring and onboarding for new team members
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
12+ years of experience in partnerships with predominant focus in product partnerships or ecosystem partnerships, and 3+ years of direct people management experience, with a track record of hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
The ability to define strategy, plan, prioritize, build cross-functional alignment, execute efficiently on long-term, cross-functional projects, and iterate alongside product, GTM, and executive teams
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to structure frameworks, initiate an action plan, and lead complex, first-of-their-kind, technical partnerships and negotiations
Technical depth; experience contributing to and influencing product strategy, roadmap, and execution as well as analyzing data to build and share insightful business recommendations
A demonstrated ability to execute on short term business needs in tandem with driving strategic decisions that align with the broader company and partnerships roadmap
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Proven ability to create and implement product partnership strategies in enterprise SaaS
Track record of building partnership processes, programs, or teams during periods of rapid company or product growth
Demonstrated success leading teams that manage both high-touch product partnerships and scaled ecosystem programs
