Location: Warsaw, Poland; Madrid, Spain; Tbilisi, Georgia; Sofia, Bulgaria; Yerevan, Armenia; Podgorica, Montenegro CloudLinux is a global remote-first company. We are driven by our principles: do the right thing, employees first, we are remote first, and we deliver high-volume, low-cost Linux infrastructure and security products that help companies to increase the efficiency of their operations. Every person on our team supports each other and does what we can to ensure we all are successful. Check out our website for more information: https://cloudlinux.com/ Imunify360 is CloudLinux's security suite for Linux web servers: real-time and background malware scanning, automated cleanup, a WAF, runtime PHP protection (Proactive Defense), a database malware scanner, and IP reputation. It runs on hosting providers' shared, VPS, and dedicated servers, so new web-malware campaigns land on our fleet early. We sit on one of the largest labeled corpora of live web-server malware in the industry: files, verdicts, cleanup outcomes, and analyst decisions collected from production hosting servers every day. It already drives our signatures, heuristics, and ML models, and there is far more to get out of it. We are looking for a Senior ML Engineer who will turn that data into detection that ships — classifiers, LLM-assisted triage and generated signatures — and keep exploring new ML/LLM methods against it, measured by the product's false-negative and false-positive rates, not by notebook accuracy. Our dataset focuses on web malware — PHP, JavaScript, HTML phishing kits, infected WordPress and Joomla plugins and themes, database injections — with the context around each file. What you'll work with: Malware samples from production servers, with verdicts and analyst decisions Years of signatures and detection rules Customer-reported false negatives and false positives Runtime behavior of code on live sites Web-attack traffic File metadata and how files spread across servers Cleanup outcomes, including what came back What you will do: The goal is 10x more malware detected at the same or lower false-positive rate. Hand-written rules and faster pipelines will not get there; models trained on our data might. Decide which files on a server deserve a closer look, within tight CPU and memory budgets Tell malicious code from benign at fleet scale and a sensible cost per file Generate detection signatures automatically from new campaigns Catch malware that only looks malicious in context, such as phishing pages and script injections Route each file to the right detection engine Make cleanup precise so sites stay clean afterwards Prove each model improves detection before it ships How we work: You get an experimentation track, GPUs, and a direct line to leadership; in return, you bring numbers, not opinions. Remote-first, async across UTC−5 to UTC+8. Decisions are written down (ADR-Lite) and public by default. Hardware follows evidence: Each training direction starts with dedicated GPUs on our own bare metal; leadership has committed to fund more when the case is made with data. Agentic engineering: Claude and Codex are the default tools, wired to GitLab, Jenkins, Redash, Jira, and Slite through MCP servers. We look at how engineers work with agents — context, specificity, review quality — not only at output. Close to ground truth: You work daily with malware analysts, detection and infrastructure engineers, and the rest of our ML team. Ship gates: No model or build goes out if it raises false positives or false negatives on our past-error sets. Blameless post-mortems within 24 hours. What you'll deliver: You own the path from raw samples to a model in production, and the numbers that prove it helped. First month: A first model trained on production data and measured against today's engines — suspicious-file triage or a metadata model. The evaluation harness in place: splits by time and campaign so families don't leak, and a regression set from past FPs and FNs. By month 3: Several models in production: some in shadow mode building evidence, some live and producing real detections, all gated on the past-error regression set. A training setup that keeps its GPUs busy. A written proposal (ADR) for the detection cascade, with cost per file and hardware needs. By month 12: Models are a main source of new detections, reported as share of new detections and FN-rate trend. Retraining on fresh analyst and FN labels on a fixed cadence. Generated signatures inside the analyst workflow. Two or three parallel training directions that other engineers can run with your tooling. Requirements What you bring: 5+ years building ML systems that ran in production, including 2+ in an adversarial domain: security, abuse, fraud, or spam. Y ou have trained and fine-tuned transformer models yourself — data preparation, tokenizing code, LoRA/QLoRA or full fine-tunes, distillation, quantization — not only called hosted APIs. Classic ML depth: gradient boosting, linear models on sparse features, calibration, class imbalance, and judgement on when these beat an LLM. Evaluation discipline: leakage-free splits by time and family, precision at a fixed false-positive budget, regression sets, and an honest account of why production will differ from offline. Inference cost engineering: you have measured throughput and latency and made a model fit a CPU or memory budget (ONNX, llama.cpp, vLLM, int8/int4). Strong Python, PyTorch and the Hugging Face stack; SQL on large analytical tables (ClickHouse or similar). Familiarity with PHP or JavaScript , or willingness to pick it up working with our malware analysts. You use AI coding agents daily and can show how. English at upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher , with particularly strong written communication for async work. It is a strong plus if you have: Web malware, webshells, phishing kits or WordPress security experience. Models over code: AST or token features, code LLMs, graph models on program structure. Malware clustering and similarity analysis. Multi-GPU training on your own bare metal; MLflow or Weights & Biases; dataset versioning. Go or Rust, for on-server inference. Published work or talks on ML for security. Benefits What's in it for you? A focus on professional development. Interesting and challenging projects. Fully remote work with flexible working hours, that allows you to schedule your day and work from any location worldwide. Paid 24 days of vacation per year, 10 days of national holidays, and unlimited sick leaves. Compensation for private medical insurance. Co-working and gym/sports reimbursement. Budget for education. The opportunity to receive a reward for the most innovative idea that the company can patent. By applying for this position, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy ( https://cloudlinux.com/candidate-privacy-notice ), which provides detailed information on how we maintain and handle your data.

Check out our website for more information: cloudlinux.com Imunify360 Security Suite is an innovative security solution designed specifically for shared and VPS/Dedicated servers. The automated, easy-to-use solution with the six-layer approach to security delivers comprehensive and complete attack prevention. We are looking for a Lead Security Engineer - Vulnerability Response to join our Web Protection Team. The challenge ahead When a critical vulnerability in a popular web application or WordPress plugin goes public, attackers start exploiting it within hours. Most site owners can't patch that fast. We want our customers protected before the first attack reaches them, and we want them to know it. That's the challenge we're hiring for: AI-driven vulnerability response. Build and run a pipeline that detects new high and critical vulnerabilities, generates WAF rules with AI assistance, validates them, and ships them to production in a short window. Protection plus public announcement, both automated. The same pipeline that ships the rule also produces the public advisory. Every critical vulnerability we cover is announced soon after the rule ships, so customers and the market see that Imunify closed it first. Build on what works. An AI-assisted pipeline already runs for our WordPress protection plugin. The first big project is to extend this approach to ModSecurity/Coraza WAF rules. Speed without breaking sites. On shared hosting, a rule that blocks legitimate traffic is a customer incident. Fast and precise both matter. Make it measurable. Time-to-protection, coverage of critical vulnerabilities, and false-positive rate are the numbers this role owns. About the role You will own the vulnerability response pipeline end to end and be its main builder. You combine deep web application security expertise with strong automation skills, and you think about the product: what customers need, what to measure, what to build next. You'll lead a small team of security analysts and work closely with automation, QA, and marketing. What you'll do Design and build the AI-driven pipeline from disclosure to announcement: vulnerability intake, triage, rule drafting, testing, release, and the public advisory. Lead the extension of our existing WordPress-plugin pipeline to ModSecurity/Coraza rules. Write and review WAF rules (ModSecurity/SecLang) for real-world web vulnerabilities. Build test harnesses that check rules against exploits and real traffic before release. Lead and mentor security analysts: set priorities, review their work, remove blockers. Define and track time-to-protection, coverage, and false-positive rate, and improve them. Automate advisory generation as part of the pipeline, and agree the format and review flow with marketing. Requirements What we're looking for: 5+ years in web/application security: vulnerability research, detection engineering, WAF engineering, or similar. Deep understanding of web attack classes (SQLi, XSS, RCE, auth bypass, path traversal, file upload, deserialization) and how to detect them in HTTP traffic. Hands-on experience writing WAF rules (ModSecurity/SecLang, OWASP CRS, or similar) and regular expressions. Able to read PHP code and understand a vulnerability from an advisory or a patch diff. Strong Python: you've built automation pipelines that run in production. CI/CD and automated testing. Hands-on daily use of AI/LLM tools; you know where to trust them and how to verify their output. Proven track record of leading a technical project end to end. Product mindset: you reason about customer impact, not only technical correctness. Upper-intermediate English or better. Nice to have: WordPress ecosystem security: plugin vulnerabilities, vulnerability feeds (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan), CVE credits or bug bounty. Coraza or other WAF engines. Exploit analysis or threat intelligence background. Linux server administration, hosting industry. Personal skills: Strong ownership: you take a goal, not a task list. See the whole process and find the bottleneck, not only fix individual issues. Communicate clearly and raise risks early. Calm under pressure: critical vulnerabilities don't wait for working hours. Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information. Location: Remote Workplace: Remote We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science. We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world. World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached. Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you. *Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers. *Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle This is a rare PM role with true vertical ownership across the full product lifecycle, from early-stage research and pre-training through post-training, UX buildout, GTM strategy, and pricing. It gives the right person a GM-like mandate to drive product decisions end-to-end, in a way that’s unique for a company of our scale. We’re looking for a Product Manager to build the AI tools our customers will rely on. You have a real engineering or quantitative foundation and a track record of shipping products. You can take the state-of-the-art systems our research team builds and turn them into products that creators love. You’ll deeply understand what users want, what’s technically possible, and what’s strategic for our business. You’ll be the bridge between our users and our internal teams, so we ship our models and products with the most value for Runway’s creators. This role is a fundamental and critical part of the team at a market-defining company in its early stages. What you’ll do - Own the product strategy and roadmap for your area, from early model development through launch, pricing, and go-to-market - Partner with research to shape what gets built, translating customer needs and model capabilities into clear product requirements and priorities - Work closely with engineering and design to ship new products and continuously improve existing ones, making sound technical tradeoffs along the way - Define and analyze product metrics, run A/B tests, and use data (including your own SQL and Python analysis) to validate pain points and prioritize features - Talk with users weekly to uncover use cases and turn feedback into product decisions - Drive pricing and GTM strategy in partnership with business teams What you’ll need - 4+ years of product management experience, including taking products from zero to one - A strong technical foundation, typically demonstrated by things like the following: - A degree in a technical or quantitative field such as computer science, HCI, math, statistics, or physics - Professional experience writing code before the LLM codegen era (e.g., as a software engineer, data scientist, data analyst, or technical founder who built and bootstrapped a product) - Hands-on fluency with SQL, Python, AI code generation tools, and version control best practices - Working knowledge of current ML capabilities and products, and the ability to discuss tradeoffs with researchers and engineers - Experience in fast-moving teams, with comfort operating amid ambiguity - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Nice to have - Experience with generative AI, creative tools, or media products - Experience owning pricing or GTM for a product Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide. There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range. WHY THIS MATTERS Runway is building AI to simulate the world. We think world models, not language models alone, are the path to general-purpose simulation: systems that experience the world, learn from their mistakes, and change how stories get told, how science gets done, and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached. Applied AI is where that research meets a customer with a deadline. Every one of the world's largest studios, brands, and platforms hits a moment where Runway stops being a demo and becomes the way they actually make things. Our team exists for that moment, and we organize around one question: what's blocking this customer from production, and how do we remove it? ABOUT THE ROLE This is a role for people who want to own a problem, not an account. You'll sit with the biggest studios, brands, and Fortune 100 companies in the world, figure out what's actually standing between them and production, and build whatever removes it. Some weeks that's a workflow. Some weeks it's a plugin or an integration nobody has written yet. Some weeks it's getting a room of executives to make a decision they've been putting off. Your work will be on screen: Emmy-winning shows, Oscar-winning films, Super Bowl commercials, the stuff people actually watch. And the things you build for one customer tend to become product for all of them. Our team's first Shopify plugin started as a customer blocker and was in engineering's hands within a few weeks. We treat this team as R&D for that reason, not as a cost center. We have offices in NYC, San Francisco, Seattle, and London. NO TWO WEEKS ARE THE SAME, BUT YOU CAN EXPECT TO: - Find the real problem: sit with the creative, technical, and executive teams at a customer, map how they actually work, and locate the blocker between them and production. Usually it's one of three things: a missing integration, an unproven pipeline, or a stakeholder who isn't convinced yet. - Build the first of its kind: the demo that shows a studio head or a Fortune 100 CMO something nobody has shown them before. Working proofs of concept on the customer's own brand, footage, or catalog, often built in a day or two before the meeting, and the best of them become product for everyone. - Make it reusable: turn the one-off that unblocked one customer into the workflow, plugin, or integration the next ten customers start from. - Run the evaluation: own evaluation plans end to end, guide managed trials, build tailored demos on the customer's own footage and brand, and carry the technical side of deal cycles with AEs. - Scope deployments that land: 4–12 week engagements with customer-defined success criteria, a hands-on builder and an executive sponsor on their side from day one, and enough discipline to keep them on scope when the asks start piling up. - Get customers to production fast: take new technical and non-technical customers from signed contract to first production call in days rather than quarters, grow API-only accounts into Platform + API, and fix the onboarding so the support tickets stop coming. - Present to anyone: walk an analyst through a pipeline in the morning and a studio head through a production plan in the afternoon. - Bring the field back to the product: embed with Product, Engineering, and Creative to turn what you saw at the customer into roadmap. Every repeat ask is a product requirement, not a patch. - Measure what the customer measures: time to production, usage before and after a project, what they shipped because you were there. We track our own numbers in Salesforce and the warehouse; you'll own yours. WHAT WE VALUE - People who aren't satisfied with surface-level answers and will go into the data, the code, and the room to find the real one - Low ego: the customer's outcome matters more than who gets the credit - Comfort with open-ended problems in unstructured environments, and the instinct to create structure instead of waiting for it - Builders who would rather prototype than debate, and who keep iterating with the customer until it actually works - Adaptive and introspective: willing to learn, guide, lead, and follow WHAT WE NEED - You build things that run in production. Python or TypeScript, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines. Whether you write the code yourself or with coding agents, you can read it, debug it when it breaks, and explain line by line why it's built that way, including to a customer's engineering team. You've shipped something a customer actually ran: a workflow, an integration, a plugin, or an internal tool. - You've deployed AI or ML systems and integrations inside complex organizations and can point to the outcome, not just the delivery - You can hold a room of executives and a room of engineers, and translate between the two. Some of those rooms are at the customer, so expect some travel. - Nice to have: data tooling (SQL, BigQuery, Retool), or experience in media, entertainment, or advertising production Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Quality, Reliability & Governance: Implement automated testing, observability, and monitoring frameworks to guarantee high data reliability and low latency. Engineering Excellence & Best Practices: Follow rigorous CI/CD practices, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), version control, and clear documentation across all data assets. Cross-Functional Enablement: Collaborate closely with marketing managers, game teams, product managers, and data analysts to turn ambiguous business needs into high-impact data solutions. About you Relevant Experience: In-depth professional experience as a software engineer or data engineer. Data Engineering Expertise: Strong background in senior data engineering roles with advanced proficiency in Python and complex SQL. Strong Core Programming: Deep professional experience in a strongly-typed language such as Scala, Java, or Go for building resilient data services. Modern Stack Mastery: Practical experience with cloud data platforms (favorable Snowflake), dbt and orchestration tools (we use Airflow). AI & Agentic Experience: Hands-on experience applying AI tools in your engineering work and building agentic workflows, including tool use or MCP integrations, orchestration, and evaluation. You know where agents add real value, where human review is essential, and how to keep them reliable, secure, and cost-aware. Software Engineering Mindset: Deep familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform). Proactive & Impact-Driven: Autonomous problem solver who evaluates technical decisions based on speed-to-market, business value, and ROI rather than theoretical complexity. Collaborative Communicator: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical architecture to both engineering peers and business stakeholders. Please note: Research has shown that some under-represented groups in the gaming industry (eg: women) tend to apply only if they meet every single requirement. Here at Wooga, the desire to learn and the willingness to solve problems are more important to us than your experience on paper. We encourage you to apply even if you do not think that you tick all the boxes - thinking outside of such boxes and embracing the diversity of mindsets and backgrounds is what we believe makes our teams thrive. Our Promise Shape the future! Challenge the status quo and team up with a diverse group of experts (over 50 nationalities!) working on crafting the world’s best games.
