From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
dbt Fusion is building the next generation of data execution and connectivity infrastructure, enabling dbt workloads to run efficiently across diverse compute engines and data platforms. As a Senior Engineer on the Fusion Adapters and Connectivity team, you’ll design and ship core abstractions powering how dbt communicates with execution systems — leveraging Rust, Go, Arrow, and emerging open standards. This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of systems programming, database internals, and high-visibility open-source development. Your work will shape a foundational platform leveraged across the dbt ecosystem and the broader data community.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain Rust-first connectivity layers, execution APIs, and adapter scaffolding.
Partner with teams building the dbt compiler, semantic layer, and runtime to evolve adapter interfaces and system boundaries.
Contribute to Arrow/ADBC and other open-source specifications or implementations, strengthening the data ecosystem.
Own CI, testing frameworks, profiling, error reporting surfaces, and release readiness for Fusion adapters.
Debug complex interoperability and performance issues across drivers, engines, and compute domains.
Collaborate with internal and community maintainers to review PRs, write RFCs, and evolve public code architectures.
Mentor engineers on systems best practices and contribute to shared patterns around resilience, debuggability, and API clarity.
Skills We’re Looking For
Strong programming background in Rust, Go, C++ or similar performance-oriented languages.
Experience designing or maintaining SDKs, libraries, connectors, or compute/data integration codebases.
Exposure to data warehouses, query engines, Arrow/columnar ecosystems, or execution runtimes.
A desire to build foundational platform components that other teams and community members rely on.
Comfort working in public code review loops, async-first communication, and collaborative RFC processes.
A mindset grounded in debuggability, reliability, and ownership in ambiguous problem spaces.
You’ll have an edge if you have:
Contributed to or interacted with Arrow, ADBC, DuckDB, Presto, DataFusion, Spark, ClickHouse, or similar engines.
Experience shaping adapter/plugin standards, driver contracts, or architectural interfaces used by others.
Familiarity with Rust async ecosystems (tokio, tower, tracing) or Go concurrency practices.
Prior OSS governance experience — triaging issues, reviewing PRs, or working with community maintainers.
An interest in building developer-experience layers or scaffolding frameworks for adapter authors.
Qualifications:
6+ years experience in software engineering, with strong systems-level skills.
2+ years working in open-source, SDK, runtime, or low-level integration environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / related field or equivalent experience through industry OSS contributions.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

WHO WE ARE
Help Scout started in 2011 with a simple premise: support software should treat customers like people, not tickets. 3+ billion conversations later, more than 10,000 companies use Help Scout to grow relationships with customers of all types, from clients to patients and beyond.
Now we’re in a new chapter: not only building AI that gives teams more space to focus on the customer experience, but also reimagining how we operate in an AI-native world. That means shipping and learning faster, without compromising on craft. Great work here carries a strong opinion and sweats the details, regardless of the tools we use to drive it.
We’ve been a fully remote team https://articles.helpscout.com/blog/remote-culture/ since day one, with 120+ teammates now all over the world. It’s a culture where you’ll be trusted to take ownership, stay curious, and raise the quality of work around you. It comes with clear expectations and a team that will push you to do some of the best work of your career.
If that kind of challenge gives you energy, we’d love to meet you.
YOUR IMPACT
Help Scout has earned something most software companies never get: genuine trust. 10,000+ businesses use us because we've always believed that customer relationships are the business, and that every interaction should feel like it came from someone who cares. That trust took a decade to build, and now it's the foundation for something bigger.
The support industry is changing shape. AI will take on more of the tedious work so humans can lean into the relationship part. At Help Scout, the place where that relationship actually happens is the Conversations product group, which spans two product lines. Inbox is the workspace: every channel and every conversation in one place, built for the people who spend their whole day inside it. Copilot is AI working alongside them: drafts ready to review, context at their fingertips, and the tedious parts handled so every reply is faster and better.
Conversations is the most-used surface we have. This is where every user spends most of their day, so speed, reliability, and craft are the product. It's also where the rest of the platform becomes real: Agent hands conversations to humans at the right moment, customer context shows up right where the work happens, and every one of those moments either builds trust or spends it. You'll be accountable for bringing it all to life with clarity and impact.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll own the Conversations product group end to end: vision, roadmap, monetization, and results for the Inbox and Copilot product lines. You'll report to Scott Rocher, our Chief Product Officer, and you'll be accountable for the revenue growth of the group. This is a player/coach role.
Inbox and Copilot are the surfaces our customers touch most, the core of the business today and the front door to everything we build next. You'll do the strategic product work on them yourself: deciding what needs to get built next, how the workspace and its AI evolve together, and where investment in craft pays off. As the group grows, you'll hire and manage a team of PMs.
Note: This role is open to US-based applicants only.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Set the vision and strategy for the Conversations group, and decide how Inbox and Copilot evolve together as one experience where AI makes every support pro faster without breaking their flow.
- Drive the Inbox roadmap hands-on: the workspace where every channel comes together and where our users spend their time in the product. This surface is held to a bar where speed, reliability, and polish are a differentiator.
- Drive the Copilot roadmap hands-on: integrations, contextual summaries, suggestions, and in-the-moment assistance that make each person on a support team meaningfully better at their job.
- Own how your products are monetized. Conversations spans seats and AI usage, and you'll design the packaging that makes each seat more valuable as Copilot does more. You'll collaborate with partners across Help Scout to model the impact of the products you ship.
- Partner deeply with the Autonomy group. Significant parts of Copilot run on the agent platform, and likewise, Agent hands conversations to humans in your workspace. The seams between the two groups are owned jointly, and making them invisible to customers is part of the job.
- Spend real time with customers, understanding how support pros and their leaders actually work, where AI helps, and where it gets in the way
- Partner with GTM and CS so the Conversations story is clear, the adoption motion is tight, and customer feedback loops back into the roadmap
- Build and manage the Conversations PM team as it grows, coaching for judgment and raising the bar for product craft across the group
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You've owned a core product at scale, the kind people spend their whole workday in, and you're as fluent in the commercial side of product as you are in features and user experience
- You've shipped AI-powered products and you understand how they succeed and fail
- You collaborate well across ownership lines. Copilot ships on technology the Autonomy group builds, and you know how to co-own a product surface with a peer and keep the seams invisible to customers
- You think in outcomes. Time to resolution, drafts accepted, teams that get more efficient as they use more of Help Scout .
- You care about craft. You notice the details that make daily-use software feel fast, calm, and reliable, and you hold a roadmap accountable to them
- You have strong monetization instincts. You can package a product line that spans seats and outcomes, and explain the tradeoffs.
- You've managed product managers before and still love doing the work yourself. You know how to coach without taking over, and you know when a decision is yours to make
- You're data self-sufficient. You pull your own data, run your own analyses, and use numbers to pressure-test direction
- You're technically fluent enough to build genuine trust with engineers. You can hold a meaningful conversation about system architecture and make better decisions because of it
- You're fluent with AI tools and treat them as part of your craft, for research synthesis, strategy testing, rapid prototyping, and customer signal analysis. You have a point of view on where these tools are heading and how they're changing the shape of product work
- You understand that when execution is cheap, judgment is the bottleneck. Your highest-leverage hours go to strategy and prioritization, defining what's next and what's not
- You're an excellent writer. Help Scout runs on writing, and you make your thinking visible in one-pagers, briefs, and narratives that move decisions forward
- You've worked in B2B SaaS and understand the difference between building for support teams and building for end consumers

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Baseten's engineers want to work in an AI-first way. What's missing isn't enthusiasm — it's the platform underneath it. Today everyone assembles their own agent config, context files, and MCP servers, so the good patterns stay trapped in individual setups instead of becoming defaults everyone inherits.
You'll build that platform: the agent configurations tuned to our monorepo, the context and tooling layer that makes agents competent in our codebase, the evals that tell us which approaches actually work, and the rollout mechanics that get a new engineer productive with agents in week one.
You are not here to mandate how engineers use AI — you're here to make the good path the easy path. Success looks like teams adopting what you build because it beats what they'd cobble together themselves, not because a policy requires it. Platform engineer, not AI evangelist. Ship infrastructure, measure it, kill what doesn't work, let adoption be the referee.
The playbook for AI-first SDLC doesn't exist at any company yet. You'll write ours.
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
Agent substrate — Repo-level context infrastructure that makes agents competent in our codebase (CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md http://CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md conventions, architecture and domain context, and the tooling to keep it accurate as code moves). Internal MCP servers giving agents scoped access to CI, observability, incident tooling, deployment state, and docs. Shared skills, subagents, and hooks that encode Baseten workflows. Sandboxed environments where agents can build and test safely.
The golden path — Project templates and onboarding that ship with AI tooling configured and working. Self-serve infrastructure so teams build their own agents without you as the bottleneck. Gateway, auth, cost controls, and audit logging for internal model access.
The feedback loop — Eval harnesses that answer "is this config better than that one" against real Baseten tasks, not vibes. Instrumentation of AI tool usage and its downstream effects on cycle time, review latency, and change failure rate. Honest reporting, including on what you built that didn't pan out.
Agents in the SDLC — Automation where agents earn their keep: PR review triage, test gap-filling, incident context assembly, migrations and refactors, codebase Q&A. Integrating agents into CI/CD with guardrails that make it trustworthy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the internal AI developer platform end to end — architecture, build, rollout, operation, measurement.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and whatever ships next quarter), and build the context layer that makes them work against our monorepo.
- Build frameworks that let other engineers create their own agents without deep LLM expertise.
- Establish the evaluation practice for AI-assisted development at Baseten, and use it to drive investment decisions.
- Drive adoption through developer experience — good defaults, clear docs, low friction — not mandate.
- Embed with teams to find where AI genuinely unblocks them, then generalize those wins into platform capabilities.
- Own the safety layer: permissions, secrets handling, audit trails, cost management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have 4+ years of relevant industry experience building and enabling AI native SDLC
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go, building tools other engineers depend on daily.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and agent frameworks — tool calling, MCP, context management, orchestration, failure handling. You've shipped something agentic that real people used, not just prototyped.
- Deep personal fluency with AI coding tools and well-formed opinions about where they break down.
- Platform mindset: you build for adoption and self-service, treat internal engineers as customers, and would rather ship a good default than write a style guide.
- Developer tooling, CI/CD, and Kubernetes/Docker fundamentals.
- Comfort with ambiguity — this space invalidates its own best practices every few months.
- Excellent written communication. Much of your leverage is docs, templates, and examples that scale beyond conversations you're in.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.

Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Baseten is seeking talented and experienced Software Engineers to join our Platform team within the Infrastructure organization. As a member of Baseten's Platform Team, you will own the systems that let every engineer at Baseten prove their code works before it reaches production. Our product runs mission-critical AI inference for customers who measure downtime in dollars per second, which means our internal bar for correctness, performance, and failure tolerance has to be exceptional.
Your focus is the full testing stack: fast and reliable unit test tooling, integration harnesses that spin up realistic environments on demand, load and performance testing for GPU-backed inference workloads, and resilience testing that deliberately breaks things so our customers never have to find out what happens when a node dies mid-request. This is a builder role with org-wide leverage. You won't be writing tests for other teams — you'll be building the frameworks, harnesses, and feedback loops that make writing good tests the path of least resistance, and you'll set the standards for what "well-tested" means at Baseten.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own Baseten's testing strategy end to end — define the standards, the tiers, and the tooling that engineering teams build against.
- Build and maintain unit, integration, load and performance testing frameworks
- Design end to end test infrastructure that provisions realistic dependencies on demand — ephemeral Kubernetes namespaces, containerized service dependencies, etc.
- Build resilience and chaos testing capabilities: fault injection, network partition and latency simulation, pod and node failure scenarios, dependency degradation, and automated verification that our systems degrade gracefully and recover.
- Attack test suite reliability head-on — flake detection and quarantine, test impact analysis and selective execution, parallelization, and aggressive reduction of end-to-end CI wall time.
- Build observability into the testing layer itself: coverage reporting, test health dashboards, failure triage tooling, and clear signals about which areas of the codebase are under-tested.
- Create project templates and shared libraries so new services start with a complete testing setup on day one.
- Partner directly with product and infrastructure teams — embed where needed, understand their hardest testing problems, and turn one-off solutions into platform capabilities.
- Mentor engineers across the org on testing practice and raise the collective bar through code review, documentation, and internal advocacy.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong proficiency in Go and/or Python, with hands-on experience building test tooling and libraries used by other engineers.
- Deep experience with testing frameworks and their internals — pytest, Go's testing package, testify, testcontainers, or equivalents — including the ability to extend them, not just use them.
- Experience designing integration test infrastructure for distributed systems, including ephemeral environment provisioning and dependency management.
- Practical experience with load and performance testing tools (k6, Locust, Vegeta, JMeter, Gatling, or similar) and the judgment to interpret results and drive action from them.
- Solid Kubernetes and Docker fundamentals — you can build test infrastructure that runs on and tests against real cluster environments.
- Advanced understanding of CI/CD, including how to keep large test suites fast, deterministic, and trustworthy at scale.
- A track record of measurably improving testing culture on an engineering team — you have opinions on what to test, what not to test, and where the ROI actually is.
- Are excited about building foundational infrastructure and are comfortable working independently on ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.

At Linear, we're building the product development system for teams and agents. AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built, and we’re shaping the tools this new era requires.
Founded in 2019, Linear has become the platform of choice for more than 40,000 companies (including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp) to plan, build, and ship their products. Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship.
The Data team works across Linear, supporting Product, Engineering, and GTM. We own our data pipelines, warehouse, dashboards, analysis, and integrations with third-party tools. As a small team, we focus on building systems that make data accessible and useful across Linear. We’re looking for someone who wants to help shape how we architect, build, and use data as we grow.
Location & work mode
Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America. You can work from anywhere within this region. We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel.
What you’ll do
- Work across Product and GTM (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance) to turn ambiguous questions and operational needs into useful metrics, models, analyses, and workflows
- Build and maintain dbt models and pipelines that create trusted views of our product, customers, and business
- Design clear, maintainable data models and improve the testing, documentation, performance, and reliability of our data stack
- Build dashboards and self-service reporting in Metabase and Hex, and dig deeper when the answer requires more than a chart
- Operationalize data through reverse ETL and partner with GTM Engineering on the scoring, segmentation, automations, and internal tools that help our teams scale
- Balance fast, pragmatic answers with durable solutions, recognizing when a one-off request should become a reusable model or workflow
- Find ways to leverage emerging tools, LLMs, and coding agents to accelerate development, analysis, testing, and documentation while maintaining a high bar for correctness
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or data engineering, ideally at a fast-moving software company
- Exceptional SQL and strong hands-on experience with dbt and a modern cloud data warehouse
- Track record of owning data projects end-to-end, from shaping an ambiguous problem to shipping something people rely on
- Strong data modeling judgment: you think clearly about grain, reusable components, interfaces, dependencies, and maintainability without relying on a single prescribed methodology
- Analytical judgment: you know when to answer quickly, when to investigate deeply, and how to turn complex findings into a clear recommendation
- Comfortable moving between technical implementation and business context, from debugging a data model to understanding product adoption or sales efficiency
- High ownership mentality: self-directed, pragmatic, and willing to challenge a request or approach when something does not make sense
- Strong communication skills and experience partnering directly with both technical and non-technical teams
- Comfortable using LLMs and coding agents as part of your day-to-day development workflow
Our tech
This stack reflects the systems you’ll work in. You’re not expected to have experience with everything listed, but you should be comfortable learning quickly and working across the full lifecycle of data.
- Data Warehouse: Snowflake, dbt Cloud
- Dashboards / Analysis: Metabase, Hex
- ETL / rETL: Hevo, Fivetran
- GTM tools: Hubspot, Pocus, Clay
What we offer
We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with. Here's what you can expect:
- Competitive salary and equity
- Employee-friendly equity terms including early exercise in the US and extended exercise windows
- Daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday
- Paid co-working space or desk
- Health coverage (based on country requirements)
- 5 weeks paid vacation, plus local statutory holidays
- 4 months paid parental leave
- Paid month off after 4 years & every 2 years thereafter
- Regular team events and off-sites
