ROLE DESCRIPTION
Security is core to Phantom’s product and the trust millions of users place in us. We’re building an AI-native security team that aggressively uses AI to expand the speed, depth, and reach of our work—from code review and threat modeling to vulnerability discovery and security automation. We’re looking for strong security engineers with high agency who can identify the risks that matter, build practical solutions, and take ownership from initial discovery through verified remediation.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role spanning architecture, source code, testing, and production systems across Phantom’s mobile, web, and backend products. You’ll work directly with engineering and product teams, lead complex security initiatives, and build capabilities that scale across the company. At the Staff level, you’ll set technical direction and raise the bar for how Phantom designs, builds, and ships secure products.
This role is fully remote and open to candidates based in the US, UK and Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Security Ownership: Partner with engineering teams to identify and address security risks across Phantom’s mobile applications, web products, APIs, and backend services.
- Architecture and Threat Modeling: Lead security reviews for new products and major architectural changes, with particular attention to authorization boundaries, sensitive data, transaction integrity, key material, and third-party integrations.
- Secure Product Development: Embed practical security controls into the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing, release, and production operation.
- Code Review and Security Testing: Perform AI assisted security code reviews and targeted testing of high-risk features. Build repeatable approaches that help find vulnerabilities before they reach production.
- Security Tooling: Develop and improve tooling that gives engineers fast, actionable security feedback without creating unnecessary friction. Use automation and AI-assisted workflows where they materially improve coverage or speed.
- Software Supply Chain Security: Harden CI/CD, build, and release systems against supply chain threats, including dependency risk, secrets exposure, build provenance, artifact integrity, and compromised developer or automation workflows.
- Vulnerability Management: Triage findings from internal testing, researchers, bug bounty submissions, and third-party assessments. Work with owners to determine real-world impact and drive issues through verified remediation.
- Incident Response: Support the investigation of product security incidents and suspicious activity. Turn lessons from incidents into durable improvements to product architecture, detection, and engineering standards.
- Technical Leadership: Establish product security patterns and expectations across engineering. At the Staff level, lead ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives and influence architecture beyond any single product team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in product security, application security, security engineering, or software engineering, including experience operating at a senior or staff level.
- Strong understanding of web, mobile, API, and distributed-system security, including authentication, authorization, session management, cryptography, and common vulnerability classes.
- Hands-on experience building or applying AI-assisted security tooling to test applications and APIs, combining automated analysis with source-code review and manual validation.
- Demonstrated ability to review production code in one or more languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Rust, Python and Go.
- Experience securing software supply chains and CI/CD systems, including dependencies, build infrastructure, secrets, artifacts, signing, and release integrity.
- Experience threat modeling complex products and translating security risks into concrete engineering requirements.
- Strong judgment when evaluating exploitability, business impact, and appropriate remediation.
- Track record of partnering effectively with engineering and product teams while maintaining a high security bar.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical risk to both engineers and non-security stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience securing consumer financial products, wallets, payments, or other systems where client integrity and transaction safety are critical.
- Familiarity with blockchain systems, smart-contract interactions, transaction simulation, signing workflows, or self-custodial wallet architecture.
- Experience securing browser extensions or native mobile applications.
- Experience building and integrating application-security tooling, static or dynamic analysis, security test infrastructure, or policy-as-code controls.
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, and cloud-native service architectures.
- Experience working with bug bounty programs or coordinating external security assessments.
The target base salary for this role will range between $200,000 to $250,000 with the addition of equity and benefits. This is determined by a few factors including your skillset, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews and market factors (such as location) at the point in time of offer.

Moonshot is the “Robinhood for DeFi”—an iOS and Android app that lets anyone trade cryptocurrencies on-chain through a user-friendly interface.
Since our launch in July 2024, we’ve attracted 2M+ users.
Our mission: Make moonshots possible for everyone.
Our vision: Make a world where life-changing financial outcomes are within everyone's reach.
Everyone on our team is both a decision-maker and an implementer—united by a sense of urgency and driven by the conviction that our work can transform global finance. If you thrive on curiosity, welcome tough challenges, and aspire to leave a meaningful mark on the world, Moonshot is the place for you. You’ll run toward the hardest problems alongside high-caliber teammates who consistently push each other to excel and who share your dedication to shaping the future of decentralized finance.
This role is full-time, preferably located in NYC. Open to remote for the right candidate.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Growth Lead to build and run growth at Moonshot from the ground up: strategy, content, paid channels, and the team underneath it all. This is a hands-on, builder role, not a manage-an-agency-and-review-decks job. You'll be in the weeds on campaigns and content while building out the function as we scale.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own growth strategy end-to-end: set the roadmap for user acquisition and engagement, and own the numbers behind it
- Run paid acquisition across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, X Ads, and other platforms as they become relevant
- Drive organic and creator-led growth through UGC and clipping strategies, sourcing, briefing, and scaling content that performs
- Generate and test ideas constantly; you're not waiting for a brief, you're bringing the brief
- Build and lead the team as we scale: hire, onboard, and manage the growth marketers and specialists you need
- Report on and iterate against performance: kill what doesn't work, scale what does, fast
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU
- A few years of experience scaling a consumer product, as a growth hacker/marketer inside a consumer app (social, fintech, gaming), or at an agency running growth for products like these
- Hands-on channel experience with UGC, clipping/content strategies, and paid social/search
- A scrappy, high-energy operator mindset; you're hungry, hands-on, and thrive building the playbook as you go, not running someone else's
- Comfort with ambiguity and pace; you don't need a fully mapped org or process to start moving
NICE TO HAVES
- Crypto experience, as a retail trader or through work at a crypto company
- Understanding of trader psychology, incentives, and habit loops
COMPENSATION & PACKAGE
- Competitive salary
- Early Equity opportunities
- 5% 401(k) Match
- Health benefits (75% premium coverage) + $150,000 in life insurance coverage
- $1,000 one time office set up stipend
- Flexible PTO

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
As a member of Ramp’s Financial Crimes Compliance Team, you will play a key role in executing Ramp’s Anti–money laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance program. You will be responsible for conducting investigations, preparing unusual and suspicious activity reports (UARs, SARs), driving process improvement, and supporting AI and automation initiatives for the AML program.
This role is primarily focused on comprehensive investigations arising from escalated transaction-monitoring alerts and internal referrals. You will evaluate the customer relationship and relevant activity holistically, document clear and defensible risk conclusions, and prepare high-quality SARs and UARs when appropriate. You will flex into other Financial Crimes Compliance workflows as business needs evolve, including sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and enhanced due diligence reviews.
You will also help strengthen how Financial Crimes Compliance operates. This is an opportunity for someone who combines rigorous risk-based judgment with a builder mindset: improving review workflows, quality standards, and procedures while partnering with Product, Engineering, Design, Data (PEDD) to develop the tooling, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities that will allow Ramp to scale responsibly.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment, has strong analytical and investigative skills, and is excited about building scalable processes to support Ramp’s growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead comprehensive investigations of escalated transaction-monitoring alerts and internal referrals, maintaining appropriate case documentation, making defensible risk-based decisions, and meeting regulatory reporting obligations.
- Recommend account actions or restrictions based on financial crimes risk, and present findings and recommendations to the Account Review Board.
- Draft and file SARs and prepare applicable partner reporting, ensuring narratives are clear, evidence-based, timely, and confidential.
- Conduct secondary and peer reviews of investigations and filings, strengthening quality, consistency, and investigator judgment.
- Identify and drive practical improvements to investigation workflows, procedures, quality standards, tooling, and training.
- Partner with Compliance, Risk, PEDD, and Operations to build scalable workflows, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Flex into other Financial Crimes Compliance work, including sanctions, PEPs, customer due diligence, and enhanced due diligence reviews, as program needs require.
What You Need
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BSA/AML advisory or operations teams, with at least 2 years in BSA/AML investigations
- Demonstrated experience drafting and filing SARs and making recommendations to leadership on account actions such as offboarding or risk acceptance
- At least 1 year of experience conducting secondary or peer reviews of financial-crimes investigations
- Deep knowledge of money-laundering and terrorist-financing typologies, with the ability to apply that knowledge to Ramp’s products, payment flows, and business-customer risk.
- Demonstrated experience improving financial-crimes processes, procedures, controls, tooling, training, or quality standards.
- AI fluency, including the ability to design repeatable, validated multi-step AI-assisted workflows with clear inputs, outputs, review checkpoints, and defined processes to identify, correct, and improve unreliable results.
- Prior Fintech experience
Nice to Haves
- Experience working with bank partners, card issuers, payment partners, or other regulated financial-services partners, including diligence requests, audits, reporting, or operational escalations.
- ACAMS certification or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience delivering automation or AI-assisted workflow improvements in a regulated compliance environment.
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend
UNITED STATES
- 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents
- One Medical annual membership
- 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp
- Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year)
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay

Our team’s mission is to build a platform where you can create reliable, scalable, AI-powered streaming and batch data applications, and share data across Checkout.com http://Checkout.com to improve business performance.
The Data and AI Platform team is here to ensure internal stakeholders can easily collect, store, process and utilise data to build AI use cases and data products aiming to solve business problems. Our focus is on maximising the amount of time engineers spend on solving business problems and minimising time spent on technical details around implementation, deployment, and monitoring of their solutions.
We're building for scale. As such, much of what we design and implement today is the technology/infrastructure which will serve hundreds of teams and petabyte-level volumes of data.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stream processing technologies (Kafka and Flink) to build a continuously available large-scale event streaming platform
- Leverage subject matter and technical expertise to provide leadership, mentoring, and strategic influence across the organisation whilst building strong relationships with engineers and engineering managers
- Build tooling (modules/SDKs/DSLs) and associated documentation to foster the adoption of the streaming platform by enabling upstream teams and systems to easily publish data and deploy streaming applications
- Implement all the necessary infrastructure to enable end users to build, host, monitor and deploy their own streaming applications
- Provide consultancy across the technology organisation to drive the adoption of the platform and unlock event-driven use-cases
- Participate, translate, run and execute the collection of requirements and architecture/design initiatives into action plans
- Provide hands-on support for all event-based systems including incident triage and root cause analysis
About You
While experience with our specific tech stack is a plus, we welcome candidates with a strong background in data systems who are eager to learn. The core remit of this role is to own and scale our event streaming capability, not to serve as a general DevOps or infrastructure engineer.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with a proven track record of influencing engineering organisations
- Strong engineering background with a track record of implementing and owning event streaming platforms
- Hands-on experience working with stream technologies, ideally Kafka
- Experience designing and implementing stream processing applications with Flink
- Experience working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS (MSK, S3, Lambda, ECS, SNS)
- Experience with Kubernetes (either self-hosted or on the cloud)
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience working with Docker, container deployment and management
- Experience describing infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar) as well as designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent programming skills with at least one of Java or Python

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. Offering spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Kraken Pro is where serious traders live. Millions of them. And right now, our social presence doesn't reflect how good the product actually is.
You're going to fix that.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re seeking a chronically online, Social Media Lead to drive Kraken Pro social channels. At Kraken, understanding our brand ethos, mission, and the communities we serve is essential and social is at the forefront of that.
We’re looking for someone who moves fast but thinks long-term, thrives under pressure, and knows how to launch new products while creating ecosystem content that cuts through the noise. This role demands sharp content creation skills, an analytical mindset, and a self-starter attitude.
- Craft scroll-stopping, platform-native content for X, Telegram, and beyond to maximize impact and reach for Kraken Pro.
- Win the moment. Spot trends and reactive moments across CT/FinTwit and broader social, then rapidly craft timely, on-brand content.
- Be the heartbeat of the community. Actively engage with the Kraken Pro audience. Reply, quote, poll, meme, and foster meaningful conversation.
- Run an always-on calendar. Build and maintain a content calendar: create posts, route for approvals, schedule, publish, and monitor performance.
- Integrate key updates. Translate product and ecosystem news into clear, compelling narratives.
- Measure what matters. Track growth and performance and iterate based on insights and experiments.
- Ship responsibly. Partner with Legal/Comms to ensure compliant, accurate, and aligned messaging across regions and platforms.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Receipts. Posts you wrote that broke out, on a brand account or your own or that you manage. We care more about what you've made than where you've worked.
- 3+ years in social or content, ideally fintech, crypto, or trading. Exceptional portfolios beat exceptional résumés here.
- Speed under pressure. Markets don't wait for approval cycles and neither do you.
- Range as a maker. Copy, memes, short-form video, charts, threads. You don't need a design queue to get a post out.
- Taste. Knowing when not to post is as valuable as knowing when to.
- Comfortable handling high-paced social channels
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Creative and detail-oriented, with the ability to produce visually appealing content - whether it be briefing the design team, using Figma or being scrappy on CapCut
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
