Novakid is an online English school for kids. The Visitor Squad owns the funnel from first visit to paid lesson: landing pages, registration and booking, blog, and the visitor's personal account. We track two key metrics, visitor → lead and visitor → booking, and test almost everything we ship through experiments.
This is a backend-first role: about 70% backend (Python, some
Node.js
) and 30% frontend (React/TypeScript). You'll own the server side of the funnel: APIs behind registration, booking and the visitor account, attribution, and server-side integrations with ad platforms. When a feature needs frontend work, you'll take it end-to-end yourself. You'll work within the squad's processes: planning, grooming, code review, sprints and releases.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain Python services and APIs behind the funnel: registration, booking and the visitor account
Build and own server-side integrations with ad platforms (Meta CAPI, TikTok Events API and similar): event delivery, deduplication, retries and monitoring
Own attribution on the backend: end-to-end visit tracking, UTM persistence, and diagnosing gaps in V2L/V2B data
Keep services fast and reliable: caching, query optimization, debugging server-side rendering in our
Node.js/Express
layer
Investigate production incidents through Sentry and see them through to resolution
Support A/B testing on the server side: feature flags, rollouts, and cleanup after experiments
Ship frontend changes in React/TypeScript when a feature needs it
Requirements
5+ years of production backend development in Python, including services you designed, shipped and supported in production yourself
Strong backend fundamentals: API design, relational databases and SQL, caching, background jobs, and integrating third-party APIs (auth, rate limits, retries, idempotency)
Production debugging experience: logs, error tracking, finding the root cause of an issue
Node.js
: comfortable reading and changing an Express service
Working frontend skills: enough TypeScript and React to deliver a feature end-to-end. Expert level not required.
An understanding of how tracking data travels from click to report, and the ability to find where it gets lost
Product mindset: you work with metrics and hypotheses, not just tickets
Fluent English
Nice to Have
Server-side conversion tracking (CAPI, Events API, server-side GTM)
BigQuery: checking your own hypotheses with data
CDN and edge caching (CloudFront or similar)
GDPR and consent mechanisms
E2E testing with Playwright or Cypress
Our Tech Stack
Python,
Node.js
, Express (SSR), TypeScript, React,
Next.js
, Sentry, GrowthBook, BigQuery.

The role & impact
As an Engineering Manager in our Machine Learning & AI team, you'll lead a high-performing, inclusive team of engineers building and operating AI-powered experiences and capabilities across Xero. The team's work spans traditional machine learning, from predictive models and intelligent automation through to LLM-powered and agentic AI experiences that bring new ways for customers to interact with and get value from Xero.
- You'll lead engineering across a broad range of technology surfaces, from customer-facing AI experiences and intelligent product workflows to the backend services, platforms and infrastructure that power them. You'll help turn research, models and emerging AI capabilities into reliable, secure and scalable production products that make a real difference for millions of small businesses.
- You'll balance predictable delivery with a relentless focus on engineering quality and system health, building our maturity across MLOps, LLMOps, observability, evaluation and the operational practices needed to run AI systems in production. As AI continues to evolve, you'll also champion AI-native engineering practices and help your team adapt how we design, build, test and operate software.
- Working closely with senior individual contributors, including staff and principal engineers, you'll help shape technical direction while focusing on team growth, delivery excellence and sustainable engineering practices. This is a role for someone who wants to build both the systems and the people that enable Xero to deliver AI-powered products at scale.
The team & how they connect
You'll join Xero's Data & AI organisation, within the AI Products division, reporting to the GM of ML Engineering. The team partners closely with Applied Science, Data Engineering, Product and other engineering teams to bring AI capabilities from research and experimentation into production.
Our scope goes beyond building and serving models. We build the end-to-end engineering capabilities that bring AI to life in Xero's products, spanning traditional ML-powered automation and predictions, conversational AI assistants, LLM-powered workflows and agentic experiences. This means working across the full stack, integrating AI into customer experiences and product workflows while building the front end & backend services, platforms and infrastructure needed to make those experiences safe, reliable and scalable.
It's a collaborative, evolving space where you'll help translate advances in ML and generative AI into practical customer outcomes, while building the engineering foundations to support the next generation of AI-native products.
The team is currently working on
- Production ML and AI engineering: Building and operating the platforms, services and practices that support traditional ML models, generative AI and agentic systems in production.
- JAX (Just Ask Xero): Powering Xero's conversational GenAI assistant and evolving the underlying capabilities to support increasingly sophisticated, context-aware and agentic experiences.
- Intelligent financial workflows: Developing capabilities such as Automated Bank Reconciliation and smart document capture, using ML and AI to match transactions, extract information from bills and receipts, and automate complex tasks.
- XeroForce: Building the platform for AI-powered workflows, enabling agents to plan and execute complex tasks across Xero’s products and supporting reliable, reusable agentic experiences at scale.
- End-to-end AI product experiences: Integrating AI into customer-facing experiences and product workflows, alongside the backend services, orchestration and infrastructure that make them work.
Where and how you can work
We support a flexible working model that empowers you to balance your professional and personal life. You'll have the option to work in a hybrid capacity, combining the focus of remote work with the collaboration of our office spaces and team boost days to foster connection and alignment.
Here are some of the things we're looking for, for this role
- You'll bring a strong track record of leading, coaching and developing engineers, building team capability and creating an environment where people can do their best work.
- You have strong technical judgement across architecture, system design and engineering trade-offs, and can guide decisions across a broad and evolving technology landscape.
- You've translated business goals into executable engineering plans, balancing near-term delivery with long-term technical health and maintainability.
- You're experienced in delivering roadmaps predictably in fast-paced, evolving environments, navigating ambiguity and adapting as priorities and technology change.
- You understand what it takes to build and operate production-grade software, from customer-facing experiences and backend services through to distributed systems, platforms and infrastructure.
- You stay hands-on when it counts, comfortable writing, reviewing or debugging production code to unblock your team, support an incident or help resolve a complex technical challenge.
- Experience with machine learning, generative AI or AI-powered products is a bonus rather than a requirement. You don't need to be an ML specialist, but genuine curiosity about the space and an appetite to learn how these technologies are changing software engineering will help you thrive here.
Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.

Southeast Asia's fintech moment starts here.
About the Team
Research & Insights is the team that helps Salmon understand its customers, market, and business opportunities. The CX/UX Research team sits within it and works side by side with Product and Design, turning customer evidence into better product decisions.
As Salmon continues to scale, the need for hands-on, in-depth customer understanding grows with it. This team works closely with Product, Design, Marketing, Strategy, and Operations to make sure decisions are informed by real user behavior, not assumptions.
We're looking for curious, hands-on researchers who enjoy getting close to users, uncovering insights, and helping teams act on them.
About the Role
As a CX/UX Researcher, you will expand hands-on research capacity across Salmon's product portfolio. You'll work closely with product designers and PMs to run studies from kickoff to readout, including interviews, usability tests, and journey mapping, and help teams make decisions based on evidence.
This is a hands-on role. You'll run your own fieldwork, recruit participants, moderate sessions, and write reports. You'll also help build the research infrastructure: intake standards, a methods library, and a research repository the whole product team can use.
This is an excellent opportunity for a researcher who wants to see their work shape products used by real customers, and to help build a research function from an early stage.
What You'll Do
Research Planning & Execution
- Plan and run moderated usability tests, in-depth interviews, and quantitative/unmoderated studies
- Own assigned studies end-to-end: recruitment, moderation, analysis, and reporting
- Maintain a research backlog together with the research lead, and align priorities with product and design teams
Participant Recruitment & Fieldwork
- Recruit and screen participants, and manage logistics including panel vendors, screeners, and incentives
- Run virtual and in-person fieldwork and ensure a positive participant experience
- Conduct field research directly with users, which is expected and resourced
Collaboration with Product & Design
- Work closely with product designers and PMs: participate in team rituals, discuss research priorities, and align on study scope and timing
- Facilitate synthesis workshops, insight reviews, and journey mapping sessions with design and product teams
- Negotiate research priorities with stakeholders, and push back when needed
Journey Mapping & Insights Reporting
- Build and maintain customer journey maps for prioritized product areas
- Write clear, decision-ready reports and present findings to product teams
- Drive change based on research: track whether insights are actioned, follow up with teams, and escalate blockers to the research lead
Research Operations
- Contribute to research repository standards, the intake process, and the methods guild
- Help build the processes and tools that make research faster and more reusable across the product team
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- 2+ years in UX research for consumer products
- Track record of running moderated tests and in-depth interviews independently
- Experience facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions with design and product teams
- Ability to discuss and negotiate research priorities with PMs and designers, and comfort pushing back when needed
- Experience creating journey maps, personas, or service blueprints
- Proven ability to drive change based on research: you track whether findings are actioned, not just delivered
- Comfortable operating with limited process; you help build it rather than wait for it
- Clear, concise writing for non-research audiences

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
Anthropic manages one of the largest and fastest-growing infrastructure fleets in the industry — spanning multiple accelerator families, cpu families and clouds. The Capacity Engineering team is responsible for making sure all our infrastructure resources are accounted for, well-utilized, and efficiently allocated. We own the data, tooling, and operational systems that let Anthropic plan, measure, and maximize utilization across first-party and third-party compute.
As an engineer on Capacity Engineering, you will build the production systems that power this work: data pipelines that ingest and normalize telemetry from heterogeneous cloud environments, observability tooling that gives the org real-time visibility into fleet health, and performance instrumentation that measures how efficiently every major workload uses the hardware it’s running on. You will be expected to write production-quality code every day, operate alongside Kubernetes-native infrastructure at meaningful scale, and directly influence decisions around one of Anthropic’s largest areas of spend.
You’ll collaborate closely with research engineering, infrastructure, inference, and finance teams. The work requires someone who can move between data engineering, systems engineering, and observability with comfort — and who thrives in a high-autonomy, high-ambiguity environment.
This is a pipeline role feeding four areas.
Depending on your background and business priority, you’ll focus primarily in one, but the boundaries are fluid and the problems overlap:
Data platform
Pipelines that ingest occupancy and utilization telemetry from Kubernetes clusters, normalize billing and usage across cloud providers, and serve the BigQuery tables the rest of the org queries against. Correctness, completeness, and latency are the job, not a footnote. Consumers range from research engineers to finance to leadership, so it's product work as much as engineering: defining schema contracts, making data discoverable, and figuring out what people actually need.
Planning
Knowing what the fleet has, where it's going, and what's in the way. Making the state of the fleet legible and actionable in real time: cluster health tooling, capacity planning platforms, alerting on occupancy drops and allocation problems, and systemic fixes to scheduling and fragmentation. Kubernetes operations on one side, cross-team coordination on the other.
Efficiency
Measuring and improving how effectively every major workload uses the hardware it runs on. Instrumenting utilization across training, inference, and eval systems, building benchmarking infrastructure, establishing per-config baselines, and working directly with system-owning teams to close the gaps. The metric has to be good enough that the team on the hook for it agrees with the number.
Attribution and forecasting
Connecting what the fleet costs to what the business is doing with it. Reconciling CSP billing exports against vendor telemetry and internal systems with mismatched schemas, attributing spend to the workloads and teams that generate it, and turning inference demand signals and research roadmaps into a defensible compute plan. Efficiency metrics have to survive contact with finance: stripped of pure demand and unit-price effects, reproducible month over month, and legible to a CFO.
Key responsibilities
Build the planning and allocation stack — the tools leadership uses to allocate capacity, teams use to plan against their allocations, and the scheduler enforces. Cross-region and cross-provider placement, guardrails, queueing, occupancy KPIs.
Drive the efficiency programs: stranding and rightsizing, unused capacity recovery, and job-level utilization across training, inference, and eval. Establish per-config baselines and work with system-owning teams to close the gaps. Utilization improvements are worth enormous sums at our scale.
Own attribution and forecasting — reconcile billing across ten-plus providers against telemetry and internal systems, attribute spend to the workloads that generate it, and turn demand signals and research roadmaps into a defensible compute plan and supply pipeline.
Build the data platform underneath all of it: pipelines ingesting occupancy, utilization, and cost from a rapidly diversifying fleet into BigQuery, with real ownership of completeness, latency SLOs, and gap detection. Every new provider is a net-new integration.
Operate Kubernetes-native systems at scale — collection agents, workload labeling, and the taint/reservation/scheduling behavior that determines what capacity is actually usable.
Treat the output as a product, not a pipeline. Gather your own requirements, define schema contracts, and design for consumers ranging from research engineers to a CFO — including on-call and SLOs, because these surfaces are load-bearing for the company.
What you bring
A strong track record building and operating production systems. This is a hands-on engineering role with a devops flavor.
Python and SQL at production quality. Most pipeline code is Python; the presentation layer is BigQuery SQL, including table-valued functions and views. Both need to be idiomatic, well-tested, and maintainable.
Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure) and its operations
Experience with observability tooling stack, including Prometheus, PromQL, and Grafana, including writing recording rules and building monitoring that engineering teams rely on.
Ability to gather your own requirements and work across organizational boundaries in an ambiguous environment with limited direction.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with capacity planning, resource management, or cost attribution systems at a hyperscaler or in a large-scale machine learning environment. Time spent in product engineering and developer experience absolutely counts here.
Scheduling and packing efficiency experience, or profiling-driven optimization of large distributed workloads.
Multi-cloud data ingestion experience, especially normalizing billing exports, reservation APIs, on-demand capacity reservations, commitments, and vendor telemetry from providers with different billing arrangements.
Total cost of ownership and forecasting experience, including decomposing whether infrastructure growth is causal or correlated with business drivers.
Accelerator infrastructure familiarity. GPU metrics (DCGM), TPU utilization, Trainium power and utilization metrics, or experience with machine learning training and inference systems at the hardware level.
Experience building internal data products with self-service access, schema contracts, API serving, documentation, and discoverability. Not just pipelines, but thinking about how the data gets consumed.
Storage efficiency, retention, and lifecycle program experience at exabyte scale.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$485,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About the Role
We're hiring an Ops & Marketing Project Manager to be the organization backbone of a small, fast-moving team. Plans get made in Slack, work gets briefed in Notion, and the gap between those two is where things quietly die. You're the person who closes that gap.
This role sits primarily on the operations side of our home fragrance brand. You'll own wholesale operations end to end, and you'll be the one keeping product development, inventory, and production moving: chasing suppliers, holding timelines, building the project boards, and making sure nothing sits waiting on an answer nobody asked for.
You'll also own the marketing calendar and the project flow behind it. Our marketing team moves fast across website, paid, email, and creator work, and it needs someone who makes sure that once something is decided it has an owner, a date, a dependency map, and someone chasing it. You're not deciding what we launch. You're the person who knows the status of everything, without being asked.
We're an AI-forward company, and this is an AI-forward role. Claude is part of how this team works every day, not a side experiment. We expect you to build your systems, SOPs, trackers, and reporting with AI in the loop, and to keep finding the places where it takes busywork off your plate and off the plates of the people around you. You don't need a technical background. You do need real curiosity and the willingness to make it part of how you work.
What You'll Do
Own wholesale day to day: processing orders, charging payments, creating shipments and inbounds, and the customer service that comes with it
Create 3PL orders for suppliers, samples, and anything else needed
Write the SOPs as you go, so the function can be handed to a dedicated coordinator over time. Designing your own replacement here is part of the job, not a threat to it
Product Development, Inventory, and Production
Supplier follow-up, cost comparisons, timelines, and project boards across new products and packaging
Stay closely on top of production status and timelines, and flag slippage early enough that we can do something about it
Support inventory operations and learn the fundamentals of production from the team, with room to take on more here over time
The Marketing Calendar
Own a single calendar across brands and channels: website, paid creative, email and SMS, creator and UGC, promotions, and product launches
Hold the dates. Work backwards from the launch date rather than forwards from today, so creative, approvals, and builds land in the right order
Turn strategy into briefed work. When a plan arrives as ten line items with five names attached, you break it into owned tasks with real dates and confirm who has what
Catch collisions before they cost a day: duplicate briefs, two designers on the same asset, work blocked on an approval nobody requested
Run the weekly cadence. What shipped, what slipped and why, and what's at risk next week, published without being asked for it
Systems, Notion, and AI
Own Notion as the system of record for these areas: structure, templates, status hygiene, and getting people to actually use it
Build real systems where only informal structure exists today, then keep them alive. A board nobody updates is worse than no board
Use AI to build and run those systems, from drafting SOPs and briefs to pulling together reporting and tracking what's outstanding
Keep creator and partnership records, contracts, and payments accurate and moving, in step with finance and the partnerships team
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Exceptional organization. This is the single most important quality for this role
3+ years managing multiple concurrent projects across teams
Operations experience in e-commerce, consumer brands, wholesale, or supply chain
Direct marketing experience, ideally owning or running a marketing calendar across channels
You already use AI seriously in your own work, and you can show us how. We care more about how you think with it than which tools you've touched
Hands-on Notion experience. You've built databases and views that other people relied on, not just filled in someone else's
Experience working inside a CRM and keeping it clean and current (Folk, HubSpot, Salesforce, Klaviyo, or similar)
Strong follow-through. You're persistent with suppliers, vendors, and teammates until you get an answer
The instinct to surface problems early, with a recommendation attached
Strong written communication. Most of this job happens in writing, across time zones
Strong English communication skills
Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, and comfort across Word, PowerPoint, and Google's suite of tools
Nice to Have
Wholesale or B2B operations experience, including basic customer service
Familiarity with Shopify, Cin7, Klaviyo, or Figma
Experience with product development or packaging timelines
Benefits
💰 Competitive salary in USD
🕒 Flexible working schedule
🌎 100% remote, long-term career opportunity
