The engineering team at Chainalysis is inspired by solving the hardest technical challenges and building products that establish trust in cryptocurrencies. We're a global organization that thrives on challenging work and doing it alongside exceptionally talented teammates. Our industry evolves rapidly, and our mission is to build a flexible, AI-driven platform that automates entity resolution, optimizes data labeling pipelines, and creates predictive models that identify illicit patterns before they escalate.
Our data and solutions have been used to solve some of the world's most high-profile criminal cases and grow consumer access to cryptocurrency safely. Now, by pairing the industry's most trusted blockchain data with agents that reason, investigate, and act, we help our customers scale their workflows as the cryptocurrency economy becomes increasingly mainstream.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in the Investigations group, you'll be a technical leader on the Government Systems team — the group responsible for the deployment platform and operational infrastructure that delivers Chainalysis Reactor to government and high-security customers.
The mission of the Government Systems team is to ensure that Chainalysis's most security-sensitive customers can run Reactor reliably in their own environments — including networks with strict access controls and limited connectivity. Government Systems sits at the intersection of infrastructure operations and product delivery. Product teams own their application code, but rely on Government Systems to provision environments, manage release pipelines, and operate the deployment platform. As a senior engineer you will be the connective tissue between these groups — setting technical direction, resolving cross-cutting issues, and ensuring the platform evolves to meet growing demands.
Note: This position requires eligibility to access U.S. Government information and systems. Due to applicable government security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Due to collaboration with Europe, we are highly prioritizing candidates based in EST timezone.
In this role, you'll:
- Lead the design and evolution of RKE2 Kubernetes clusters across development, acceptance, and production environments — driving upgrades, capacity planning, networking strategy, and operational resilience
- Architect and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) to provision and manage AWS-based environments, establishing patterns and modules that the team can scale with confidence
- Own the CI/CD platform (GitHub Actions) end-to-end — designing pipeline architecture, improving build performance, and ensuring releases flow reliably through staged environments
- Drive GitOps-based delivery strategy using Flux CD, defining standards for Helm charts and Kustomize overlays and ensuring consistent reconciliation across clusters
- Define container image lifecycle policies — building, signing, storing, and distributing images across OCI registries for multiple deployment targets
- Identify and eliminate operational toil through automation, improving environment provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes at a systemic level
- Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices — owning dashboards, runbooks, and post-incident reviews that raise platform reliability over time
- Serve as a technical point of contact for product service teams integrating into the deployment pipeline — unblocking teams, troubleshooting complex environment issues, and advocating for infrastructure best practices
- Own the security posture of the deployment platform — managing secrets, certificates, RBAC policies, and security configurations to meet compliance and operational security requirements
- Mentor and grow other engineers on the team through code review, pairing, design discussions, and knowledge sharing
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Deep experience operating Kubernetes in production at scale — cluster lifecycle management, Helm, networking, persistent storage, performance tuning, and complex workload troubleshooting
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure across multiple environments, including module design and state management strategies
- Strong Linux systems administration skills (RHEL or similar — networking, storage, systemd, performance analysis, shell scripting)
- Extensive experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar), with a focus on reliability, speed, and developer experience
- Deep familiarity with AWS services commonly used in infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, EBS, Lambda, and related networking and security services)
- A strong operational mindset — you take ownership of reliability, think about failure modes proactively, and build automation to prevent recurring issues before they impact customers
Nice to have experience:
- Experience with GitOps tools such as Flux CD or ArgoCD in complex, multi-environment setups — including designing promotion strategies and managing drift
- Familiarity with container registry operations, image distribution, OCI artifact management, and image signing or verification workflows
- Experience managing databases in Kubernetes environments (e.g., PostgreSQL operators, stateful workloads, backup and recovery strategies)
- Familiarity with Kafka or other message brokers in a containerized environment, including operational management and scaling
- Experience with configuration management or automation tools (Ansible or similar) at fleet scale
- Advanced scripting proficiency in Python for infrastructure automation, tooling, and integration work
- Experience supporting environments with strict security or compliance requirements (FedRAMP, FIPS, IL environments, or similar)
- Exposure to or passion for the cryptocurrency technology ecosystem
Technologies we use:
- Kubernetes: RKE2, Helm, Kustomize, Flux CD
- Cloud provider: AWS (EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, Lambda)
- Infrastructure as code: Terraform
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, semantic-release
- Monitoring and alerting: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Humio
- Scripting and automation: Shell, Python
- Container registries: OCI/Docker
- Database management: PostgreSQL
- Event streaming: Kafka
- Operating systems: RHEL, Rocky Linux, Amazon Linux
AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.

What We Do:
Cybercrime is growing, and more businesses are getting hit by threats that used to target only the biggest organizations. That pushes defenders like us to operate at the highest level, and it deepens our need for good people who want to make a meaningful impact.
Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress is a remote-first team working to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. We work closely with security teams and service providers protecting complex environments, often without the time or headcount to handle it all. That’s why we build our technology in-house and back it with a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center (SOC). As a result, our platform is never disconnected from the experts who manage it, ensuring our customers' protection.
Huntress now secures more than 6M endpoints and 16M identities worldwide. Those numbers keep growing because more businesses rely on us to help carry the load and operate with more confidence. Every day, you can see that commitment in how we stand with our customers and how we show up for each other.
Reports to: Director of Detection Engineering and Threat Hunting
Location: Remote, US
Compensation: $220,000 to $240,000 base plus bonus and equity
What You’ll Do:
We are seeking an experienced leader to own the strategy, execution, and growth of our
North American
Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting (DE&TH) operations.
While you will align with the DE&TH Director on the overarching 18-month vision, you will have autonomy to drive the operational tempo and outcomes for your region. You will provide weekly supervision to focus on scaling the team, managing regional hiring/budgeting, and serving as a strategic partner to Product and Engineering.
You will manage a team of technical practitioners. Your mission is to operationalize our "hunt-to-detect" feedback loop at scale, ensuring that our detection portfolio matures in lock-step with our platform's growth, while collaborating with your counterparts in other regions to ensure a seamless, 24/7 global defense.
Responsibilities:
Regional Operational Leadership:
Own the execution of the DE&TH mission for the North America region. You will translate global strategic goals into actionable regional roadmaps, ensuring that our NA-based hunters and engineers are focused on the highest-value threats.
Team Scaling & Talent Strategy:
Manage and grow a team of practitioners. You are responsible for the region's hiring strategy, capacity modeling, and performance management. You will mentor up to Staff and Principal practitioners, helping them navigate technical leadership paths.
Cross-Functional Alignment:
Strategize with leaders in Product, Engineering, and Security.
Global Collaboration:
Partner closely with regional managers in EMEA/APAC to ensure consistent standards, seamless handoffs, and shared knowledge. You will ensure that "how we hunt" in North America contributes to and benefits from our global ecosystem, preventing regional silos.
Incident Command:
Serve as the senior leadership point of contact for DE&TH during North American business hours. During high-impact security incidents or mass exploitation events, you will provide calm, strategic direction to the team and effective communication to executive stakeholders.
Efficacy & Accountability:
You are responsible for the results of the NA region. You will track and report on key performance indicators and drive systemic improvements when metrics deviate from our standards.
What You Bring To The Team:
Proven Management Experience:
5+ years of experience leading technical security teams (Detection Engineering, Hunting, or IR), with specific experience managing distributed or remote teams.
Strategic Mindset:
You can balance local autonomy with global alignment. You know how to run your region as a business unit—managing resources and priorities—while adhering to global standards.
Technical Gravity:
While you are less involved in day-to-day coding than a Team Lead, you possess the technical depth to guide Staff/Principal Engineers. You understand "Detection-as-Code" principles, adversary tradecraft, and can adjudicate complex technical disagreements.
Advocacy & Communication:
You are a skilled advocate for your team. You can effectively communicate the value of proactive hunting to non-technical stakeholders and negotiate with Product/Engineering for the tooling and telemetry your team needs to succeed.
What We Offer:
100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays
12 weeks of paid parental leave
Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans
401(k) with a 5% contribution regardless of employee contribution
Life and Disability insurance plans
Stock options for
all
full-time employees
One-time $500 reimbursement for building/upgrading home office
Annual allowance for education and professional development assistance
$75 USD/month digital reimbursement
Access to the BetterUp platform for coaching, personal, and professional growth

ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
The DHI Content team builds and maintains Docker Hardened Images: a catalogue of security-hardened system packages, container images and Helm charts designed to be minimal, up to date and safe to use in security-conscious and regulated environments.
This is a supply-chain and open-source maintainer role rather than a conventional backend engineering role. You will work across upstream OSS projects, package and image definitions, Helm charts, Kubernetes, integration tests, vulnerability remediation and the controls that prove content is ready to publish. The work is broad by design: customers should be able to select hardened packages and images and, where relevant, deploy them through hardened charts without the pieces drifting apart.
We are moving DHI content production towards a machine-first factory. Routine work should begin with a machine-produced change and pass through automated build, test, policy and review controls. Engineers add the most value by handling difficult ecosystems, making security judgements, improving standards and turning repeated human corrections into better tooling. You will use AI-assisted engineering extensively, but remain accountable for the evidence and quality behind every result.
As a Senior Supply Chain Security Engineer, you will own substantial content and improvement work from upstream discovery through release and ongoing maintenance. You will be expected to close the loop on customer and security outcomes, not only submit individual definition changes.
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE
You will succeed by becoming a trusted end-to-end owner for hardened content. Within your first year, you should have delivered complex new or updated DHI content across packages, images and Helm charts, improved the factory or its quality gates, reduced recurring manual work and raised the capability of the engineers around you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Author and maintain definitions for hardened system packages and container images, including build steps, upstream tracking, multi-architecture support and reproducibility controls.
- Adapt and maintain upstream Helm charts so they work correctly with DHI images under non-root, restricted and production-shaped Kubernetes security constraints.
- Track upstream releases, semver patterns, monorepos, dependency chains and breaking changes, then make pragmatic decisions about when to update, patch, pin or deviate.
- Triage and remediate vulnerabilities across OS packages, application dependencies, images and charts, including VEX and no-upstream-fix cases that require explicit security judgement.
- Write and improve Go-based integration tests, validators and policy checks that prove packages, images and charts behave correctly in real environments.
- Review human-authored and machine-authored pull requests against DHI standards, distinguish blocking issues from advice and give contributors a clear path forward.
- Improve the DHI Factory by converting repeated work, review corrections and escaped defects into automation, tests, validators and reusable authoring patterns.
- Help classify work into deterministic, specialist and judgement paths so people spend time where their expertise changes the outcome.
- Partner with Product, Security, Support and customer-facing teams to turn demand and incidents into prioritised content and durable improvements.
- Engage constructively with upstream maintainers when hardened deployment requirements expose issues or useful improvements.
- Participate in the team's paid on-call rotation and drive learning from customer escalations, failed builds and content defects.
- Communicate decisions, risks and progress clearly in a remote, async-first environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Strong experience with containers, Linux and Kubernetes in production or production-shaped environments.
- Practical experience reading, adapting or maintaining Helm charts and diagnosing how chart templates, values and workload security settings affect deployment behaviour.
- Experience maintaining software you did not originate, such as Linux packages, container images, open-source integrations, charts or a comparable downstream distribution.
- Strong YAML and configuration-review skills, including care for conventions, consistency and downstream impact across a large catalogue.
- Working knowledge of container and Kubernetes security, including non-root execution, UID and GID, capabilities, filesystem restrictions, image layers and multi-architecture builds.
- Practical programming ability in Go or a comparable language, sufficient to write and review integration tests, validators and content automation.
- Experience tracking upstream releases and reasoning about semver, breaking changes, dependency graphs and reproducible builds.
- A maintainer mindset: you catch drift, improve patterns for the next contributor and consider the effect of a change across many downstream consumers.
- Familiarity with GitHub-heavy open-source workflows, including pull requests, review, release tracking and upstream contribution.
- Comfort using AI-assisted engineering critically while retaining ownership of security assertions, test evidence and release quality.
- A strong operational mindset and clear written and spoken communication suited to a remote, async-first company.
HELPFUL, BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Experience as a maintainer for Alpine, Debian, Fedora, Wolfi, Homebrew or another package ecosystem.
- Helm chart authorship or meaningful contribution to an upstream chart.
- Experience with SBOMs, VEX, SLSA, Sigstore, cosign, provenance or artefact signing.
- Experience with apk, deb, rpm, Go modules, Maven or Gradle, npm, pip, Cargo or other dependency ecosystems.
- Experience building automation for package, image or chart creation, validation and release.
- Experience with FIPS, FedRAMP, PCI or other regulated and security-conscious environments.
WHAT TO EXPECT
FIRST 30 DAYS
- Build context on the DHI catalogue, its package, image and chart definitions, the DHI Factory and the team's definition of done.
- Pair across both image and Helm chart work and ship a useful production change.
- Learn the build, test, signing, publishing and vulnerability-remediation workflows.
- Take part in reviews and an incident, escalation or failed-build learning session.
FIRST 90 DAYS
- Own a complex image and chart addition or update from upstream analysis through release.
- Resolve a meaningful CVE, dependency or compatibility problem with clear evidence and customer impact in mind.
- Improve at least one factory control, integration test, validator or reusable content pattern.
- Review across artefact types and help another engineer take on a broader piece of work.
ONE YEAR OUTLOOK (FIRST YEAR)
- Be a trusted senior owner across hardened packages, images and Helm charts.
- Deliver material catalogue growth or quality improvements without increasing human effort linearly with demand.
- Reduce recurring manual work by moving a class of changes into a proven automated path.
- Improve DHI's security posture, content availability and release reliability for customers.
- Raise review quality and grow the team's ability to work across artefact and dependency ecosystems.
Docker considers visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis based on business needs.

• We offer a competitive and thoughtfully structured compensation package designed to align with impact, experience, and long-term growth.
• Base Salary: The anticipated salary range for this role is $200,000 - $300,000, depending on experience, skills, scope, and location.
• Equity: In addition to cash compensation, employees are eligible to participate in the company’s stock option program and share in Higgsfield’s long-term growth. •
• Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees professionally and personally
• The opportunity to work on ambitious AI products alongside a highly experienced, fast-moving, and international team.
• Significant ownership, direct impact, and opportunities for professional growth as the company scales.
This is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Team members are expected to work from our San Francisco office three full days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely and are expected to be available during agreed working hours and to maintain sufficient overlap with the relevant team’s time zone. We value in-person collaboration, active communication, responsiveness, and close partnership across teams.
Higgsfield AI is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Infrastructure organization is foundational to our mission of developing AI systems that are reliable, interpretable, and steerable. The systems we build determine how quickly we can train new models, how reliably we can run safety experiments, and how effectively we can scale Claude to millions of users — demonstrating that safe, reliable infrastructure and frontier capabilities can go hand in hand.
Node Infra owns the full lifecycle of accelerator capacity at Anthropic. We ingest and provision compute from all major cloud providers and from datacenters custom-built for Anthropic, stand up and scale the clusters behind one of the industry's largest AI compute fleets, and build the health, diagnostics and repair automation that keep every GPU, TPU and Trainium node in the fleet usable and ready to power Anthropic's frontier AI research.
Key responsibilities
Own the technical strategy and roadmap for node lifecycle management - ingestion, bring-up, health checking, and automated repair
Drive cross-team initiatives to build and scale AI clusters across multiple clouds and accelerator families
Design and operate the systems that detect, isolate, and remediate unhealthy hardware automatically, driving up fleet MTBI and minimizing stranded capacity
Define infrastructure architecture, ensuring the hardest problems get solved - whether by you directly or by working through others
Work closely with cloud providers and internal research/inference/product teams to shape long-term compute, data, and infrastructure strategy
Establish and evolve operational excellence practices (incident response, postmortem culture, on-call)
Support the growth of engineers around you through technical mentorship and coaching
Minimum qualifications
Deep expertise in distributed systems, reliability, and cloud platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, IaC, AWS/GCP/Azure)
Strong proficiency in at least one systems language (e.g., Rust, Go, or Python), IaC proficiency with Terraform.
Hands-on experience with machine learning accelerators (GPUs, TPUs, or Trainium)
Track record of leading complex, multi-quarter technical initiatives that span multiple teams or systems
Ability to build alignment across senior stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of software engineering experience, including time as a technical lead setting direction for a team
Experience managing large scale compute infrastructure at hyperscale (10K+ nodes), including capacity management and efficiency
Depth in one or more of: Kubernetes internals (scheduler, autoscaler, kubelet, Karpenter), cluster orchestration systems (Mesos, Borg-like), or node provisioning pipelines
Low-level systems experience: kernel, virtualization, device drivers, firmware, or hardware health/diagnostics daemons
Familiarity with high-performance networking (EFA, RDMA, InfiniBand) for distributed ML workloads.
Demonstrated ownership of production reliability for high-throughput, latency-sensitive systems
Contributions to relevant open-source projects (Kubernetes, Linux kernel, container runtimes, etc.)
Skill in quickly understanding systems design tradeoffs and keeping track of rapidly evolving software systems

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

We run one of the industry's largest AI compute fleets, spanning multiple cloud providers and datacenters, to train, research, and serve frontier AI models. Those fleets run on Kubernetes, and the Kubernetes Platform team owns the control plane that makes them work.
We are operating at a scale where the defaults stop working. We own the scheduler and extend it to place topology-sensitive ML workloads across thousands of accelerators at once. We scale the control plane itself — apiserver, etcd, controllers — so it stays responsive as object counts and node counts grow by orders of magnitude. And we build the core cluster services every workload depends on, like service discovery, so they hold up under the same pressure.
We make sure the control plane is fast, correct, and always available. Your work will directly determine whether Anthropic can keep reliably and safely training frontier models as our compute footprint continues to grow.
Key responsibilities
Own, operate, and extend the Kubernetes scheduler for Anthropic's accelerator fleets, including custom scheduling plugins and policies for gang scheduling, topology awareness, and preemption
Scale the Kubernetes control plane (apiserver, etcd, controller-manager) to support clusters far beyond typical limits, and find the next bottleneck before it finds us
Design, build, and operate core cluster services such as service discovery that every workload in the fleet depends on
Build and maintain custom controllers, operators, and CRDs
Partner with research, training, and inference to understand workload shapes and turn their requirements into platform capabilities
Collaborate with cloud providers on required features and escalations
Participate in on-call, lead incident response, and design processes (postmortems, runbooks, SLOs) that help the team avoid repeating failures
Minimum qualifications
Significant software engineering experience building and operating production distributed systems
Proficiency in at least one systems-appropriate language (e.g., Go, Python, Rust, or C++)
Deep, hands-on Kubernetes experience (well beyond "user of”) into scheduler, controllers, apiserver, or operating large multi-tenant clusters
Demonstrated ability to debug complex issues across the stack, from API behavior down to node and network-level root causes
A track record of designing for reliability, correctness, and clear failure semantics in systems other engineers depend on
Strong written and verbal communication; comfort building consensus with internal stakeholders
Preferred qualifications
Experience with Kubernetes internals or contributions: kube-scheduler / scheduling framework, apiserver, etcd, client-go, controller-runtime, or similar
Experience building or operating cluster schedulers or batch systems (e.g., Kueue, Volcano, Slurm, or in-house equivalents)
Background scaling control planes or coordination systems (etcd, ZooKeeper, Consul, or large DNS/service-mesh deployments)
Familiarity with ML infrastructure: GPUs, TPUs, or Trainium; gang scheduling; topology-aware placement; collective networking such as NCCL
Experience with GCP and/or AWS, including GKE/EKS internals and Infrastructure as Code
Low-level systems experience such as Linux kernel tuning, cgroups, or eBPF
12+ years of relevant industry experience, including time leading large, ambiguous infrastructure projects
