Job Summary:
The Platform Engineering team is a close-knit group of highly senior engineers focused on building software products for developers — from internal APIs and services to developer tooling, CI/CD frameworks, and Kubernetes-based abstractions. We treat our platform as a product — prioritizing usability, adoption, and developer experience as first-class concerns. You will spend a significant portion of your time writing code — building platform services, APIs, and developer tooling used across engineering teams. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside highly experienced engineers on meaningful software problems where your ideas and expertise truly matter. The team operates in Hybrid, focusing office time for meaningful collaboration.
Platform Engineering exists to empower product engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate healthcare software faster, more reliably, and more securely. We solve complex cross-functional problems through well-designed software systems — building APIs, services, and developer-facing applications that reduce cognitive load so development teams can focus on delivering value to clinicians and patients. We may not own every part of the stack, but we engineer the APIs, abstractions, and interfaces that piece it together meaningfully — and we own the design, implementation, testing, and lifecycle of what we build through sound software engineering practices and SRE principles
Key Responsibilities
1 · Design, build, and maintain platform services, APIs, SDKs, and internal tools used across engineering teams
2 · Own platform services end-to-end — from design and implementation through production operation and continuous improvement, writing high-quality, testable code throughout
3 · Design and improve CI/CD workflows and developer automation with a focus on usability and efficiency
4 · Apply distributed systems and backend engineering principles to design scalable, resilient services and APIs
5 · Production ownership of the services and tools you build — including observability, debugging, and incident response
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum
Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js building production-grade APIs, services, developer tools, and developer-facing UIs (React or similar), with strong automated testing practices (unit, integration, E2E)
Strong software engineering fundamentals — distributed systems, API design, and production backend services, with a proven ability to make pragmatic trade-offs across scalability, reliability, and developer experience
Working proficiency with observability (metrics, logging, distributed tracing, SLI/SLO frameworks) and production ownership of services you build — including incident response and post-mortems
Strong proficiency with Kubernetes — building software abstractions and APIs, extending capabilities through custom controllers and operators
Strong proficiency designing and building CI/CD pipelines optimized for security, compliance, and developer experience
Working proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi), GitOps practices, and cloud-native environments
Strong communication, influence, and documentation skills — able to drive adoption of platform patterns, translate technical complexity for diverse audiences, and produce ADRs, runbooks, and developer- facing documentation
Preferred:
Experience building internal developer platforms or platform-as-a-product initiatives, including developer portals and self-service tooling
Experience with AI/ML integration: LLM APIs, intelligent automation, AI-assisted developer tooling, and agentic patterns
Working proficiency with cloud security practices (IAM, secret handling, encryption), compliance tooling (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST), or cloud cost optimization (FinOps)

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Rain is the global stablecoin payments platform for enterprises, neobanks, platforms, developers, and AI agents. Our technology allows partners to move, store, and use stablecoins instantly and compliantly through global payment cards, rewards, on/offramps, wallets, and cross-border rails. As both a Visa and Mastercard Principal Member, Rain issues cards that work at more than 175 million merchant locations in over 220 countries and territories. Built natively for stablecoins and trusted by more than 100 organizations worldwide, Rain delivers secure, scalable infrastructure that makes money move freely and instantly around the world.
You will have the opportunity to deliver massive impact at a hypergrowth company backed by some of the top investors in fintech, crypto, and SaaS. In January 2026, we closed a $250M Series C led by ICONIQ, valuing Rain at $1.95B, with Sapphire Ventures, Dragonfly, Bessemer Venture Partners, Galaxy Ventures, FirstMark, Lightspeed, Norwest, and Endeavor Catalyst also participating. If you're curious, bold, and excited to help shape a borderless financial future, we'd love to talk.
OUR ETHOS
We believe in an open and flat structure. You will be able to grow into the role that most aligns with your goals. Our team members at all levels have the freedom to explore ideas and impact the roadmap and vision of our company.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Rain is hiring a Senior Product Operations Manager to be the connective tissue across product, engineering, partnerships, and our fintech, neobank, and institutional customers. As Rain scales, the difference between a good product org and a great one is the rigor of the operating system underneath it — how partner feedback gets in, how decisions get made, how launches land, and how the whole machine compounds.
This is a senior individual contributor role. You'll own the product operating system end to end: the rituals, the launch motion, the partner feedback loops, the tooling, and the cross-functional surfaces that make the rest of the team faster and sharper. You'll work directly with PMs, engineering, partnerships, support, compliance, and our largest external partners.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Own the product operating cadence — planning, prioritization, roadmap reviews, launch reviews, and the rituals that keep a fast-moving product org aligned
• Run the launch motion end to end across cards, payments, and platform — readiness, partner enablement, internal rollout, support and CX prep, and post-launch measurement
• Build and run the partner feedback loop — capture input from our fintech, neobank, and institutional partners across channels, synthesize it, and turn it into prioritized product signal
• Stand up the tooling, dashboards, and documentation that make product operations leveraged — partner trackers, release notes, status comms, internal knowledge bases
• Partner with PMs to scope and ship cross-functional initiatives that touch support, compliance, partnerships, and finance, and own the seams between teams
• Drive the operational excellence that scales a product org — metrics hygiene, postmortems, decision logs, and the institutional muscle that compounds quarter over quarter
• Identify and remove friction wherever you find it — process, tooling, communication, decision-making — and raise the bar for how the team operates
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 5–8 years of product operations, program management, chief-of-staff, or strategy & operations experience, with a track record of building operational excellence inside a product-led company with a strong engineering culture and high bar for quality
• Exceptional product judgment and operating instincts — you're someone others describe as one of the sharpest operators they've worked with, and you consistently raise the bar for the people around you
• A senior, autonomous operator who can define the problem, drive the plan, and own the outcome without needing close direction
• Strong technical fluency (APIs, payments systems, blockchain concepts) and the instinct to pull on technical threads yourself rather than defer to engineering or product
• Genuinely excited to live in the details — you believe operational excellence is won in the specifics and are energized by the work to get them right
• Excellent written and verbal communication; you can operate with sophisticated external partners, internal engineering teams, and executive stakeholders with equal ease
• Proven ability to ship cross-functional initiatives quickly, measure their impact, and iterate in a fast-moving environment
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT MANDATORY
• Experience operating inside a product org shipping cards, payments, or cross-border fintech products
• Exposure to stablecoins, crypto, or smart contract ecosystems
• Previous startup or hypergrowth environment experience
• Experience standing up product ops as a function from early days

OUR ETHOS
We believe in an open and flat structure. You will be able to grow into the role that most aligns with your goals. Our team members at all levels have the freedom to explore ideas and impact the roadmap and vision of our company.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Rain is hiring a Senior Product Data Analyst to be the analytical engine behind our product team. Payments and stablecoin infrastructure generate enormous, rich, and consequential datasets — authorization patterns, ledger movements, partner usage, cardholder behavior — and the decisions we make on top of that data shape the experience for our partners and millions of their end users.
This is a senior individual contributor role embedded directly with product. You'll partner with PMs, engineers, and partnerships leads to turn raw data into the sharpest possible product judgment: defining metrics, designing experiments, sizing opportunities, and pulling on the threads that reveal where the product is working and where it isn't. You'll set the analytical bar for the company and own the questions that matter most.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Partner with product leadership as the embedded analyst across cards, payments, and platform — defining the metrics, building the dashboards, and answering the questions that drive roadmap decisions
• Design and analyze experiments end to end — hypothesis, sizing, instrumentation, readout, and the prioritization decisions that follow
• Run deep-dive analyses on partner usage, activation, retention, and economics, and translate them into sharp, opinionated recommendations
• Own the metrics framework for product — what we measure, how we measure it, and what "good" looks like across each surface
• Build self-serve analytics, dashboards, and tooling that let the rest of the company answer their own questions, and raise the bar for data literacy across product
• Partner with data engineering on the underlying data model — how events, ledger entries, authorizations, and partner data should be shaped to support fast, trustworthy analysis
• Surface insights proactively — find the things no one thought to ask and bring them to the team with a clear point of view
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 5–8 years of analytics experience, with a track record of operating as the analytical partner to product teams shipping consumer or platform products at a product-led company with a strong engineering culture and high bar for quality
• Exceptional analytical rigor and product judgment — you're someone others describe as one of the sharpest analysts they've worked with, and you consistently raise the bar for the people around you
• A senior, autonomous operator who can scope the question, design the analysis, and own the recommendation without needing close direction
• Expert SQL and strong working fluency with at least one analytics scripting language (Python or R), modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar), and BI/visualization tools (Lightdash preferred)
• Strong technical fluency — you can read product code, understand event schemas, and pull on technical threads yourself rather than defer to engineering
• Genuinely excited to live in the details — you believe correct, trustworthy data is won in the specifics and are energized by the work to get them right
• Excellent written and verbal communication; you can translate a complex analysis into a clear, opinionated recommendation that ships decisions
• Proven ability to design and run experiments, measure adoption, and iterate quickly in a fast-moving environment
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT MANDATORY
• Experience analyzing payments, card issuing, or cross-border fintech products
• Exposure to stablecoins, crypto, or on-chain data
• Previous startup or hypergrowth environment experience
• Experience standing up an analytics function from early days
ROLE DETAILS
• Individual contributor role (no direct reports)
• Hybrid schedule based in our New York City office

ABOUT THE ROLE
Rain is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own cards — one of the most strategically important surfaces at the company. Cards are how stablecoins meet real-world spend, and this role will shape the product, platform, and growth decisions that define that experience for our partners and their end users.
This is a senior individual contributor role. You’ll operate as the directly responsible PM for cards end to end: the roadmap, the cardholder experience, the platform capabilities that power it, and the activation and growth loops that make the product stick. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, partnerships, and directly with our fintech, neobank, and institutional customers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Own the roadmap for Rain’s cards product — cardholder experience, platform capabilities, and growth — and drive it end to end
• Partner deeply with engineering on platform and infrastructure tradeoffs (issuing flows, authorization behavior, ledger design, network integrations) and translate them into partner-facing product decisions
• Define and ship the card experience our fintech, neobank, and institutional partners put in front of their users — onboarding, activation, spend controls, and lifecycle
• Build and tune the activation and growth levers that drive adoption, usage, and retention of cards across partner programs
• Translate complex payments and stablecoin infrastructure into intuitive product surfaces
• Gather feedback directly from partners, distill it into sharp prioritization, and push the team toward the highest-leverage work
• Measure ruthlessly, iterate quickly, and set a bar others want to work to
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 8-10 years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping products from zero-to-one through scale at a product-led company with a strong engineering culture and high bar for quality
• Exceptional product judgment and analytical rigor — you’re someone others describe as one of the sharpest PMs they’ve worked with, and you consistently raise the bar for the people around you
• A senior, autonomous operator who can define the problem, drive the plan, and own the outcome without needing close direction
