About the Role
You will be the person who makes our AI better at selling. You will read its conversations, notice what is working and what is not, and change the instructions it follows so the next thousand conversations go better.
You do not need to know everything on day one. We will teach you our tools, our playbooks and how to write and test prompts. What we cannot teach is the instinct for conversations, a feel for sales, and the curiosity to dig into the data and ask why.
What You'll Do
Review AI-drafted text messages each day, and approve, edit or rewrite them before they send.
Spot patterns across conversations, such as an opener that gets replies but no orders, and figure out the cause.
Update each brand's prompts and playbook to fix problems at the source, then test the change before it goes live.
Respond to brand requests and turn them into playbook updates.
Help launch new brands: deep research on their brand, write the persona and opening messages, and check that offers work.
Run and track A/B tests, and report what won.
Requirements
You read people well. From one text you can tell whether a shopper is ready to buy, has a question, or is done, and you reply the way a real person would.
You have sales instinct. You answer an objection and then ask for the sale, without arguing or pushing the customer away.
You are curious about data. You can open a table of conversations and ask the right questions: how many, compared to what, at which brand, since when. You notice when a number looks off and go find out why.
You fix the cause, not the symptom. When the AI says something wrong, you look for the reason (a missing fact, a vague rule, two rules that conflict) and fix the instruction so it does not happen again.
You are comfortable with AI tools. You use ChatGPT, Claude or similar tools regularly and understand that how you ask shapes what you get back.
You are online. These are live conversations. You are responsive during working hours and quick to pick things up in Slack.
You learn fast and like feedback. You pick up new tools quickly and want to get better each week.
Nice to Have
Experience in sales (SDR, BDR, retail or any role with a close rate), customer support, or live chat.
Experience at a DTC brand or ecommerce agency.
Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Postscript or similar tools.
Spreadsheet skills, or basic SQL.
Something you have built or automated with AI on your own.
What We'll Teach You
Our console, approval queue and playbook system.
How to write, test and ship prompt changes.
Shopify basics, discount codes and how they combine.
How we run and read A/B tests.

adjoe builds the technologies behind mobile apps growth and monetization. With our core product Playtime Arcade, we’ve become the global leader in rewarded advertising, an ad unit built on a simple premise: users earn real in-app rewards for engaging with new apps. The result is one of the most effective value exchanges in adtech, connecting advertisers and publishers with over 770 million users annually.
Ensuring Authenticity for Billions of Daily Rewards
Industry reports suggest 25 percent of global mobile ad spend is lost to fraudulent activities like click farms, fake installs, SDK spoofing, and emulator farms. At adjoe, we define our platform through trust and proactive engineering. We build high-performance defenses that guarantee accurate reward attribution, ensuring every interaction is authentic. This creates a sustainable value exchange that empowers our partners to grow with confidence.
The Anti-Fraud team develops systems that detect and prevent malicious activity at scale. Our custom Android and iOS SDKs analyze device integrity for modifications like Xposed frameworks, Magisk modules, and jailbroken devices. Supporting these, Go microservices and DynamoDB deliver millisecond-level responses, while Kafka and SQS process billions of daily events in real time. This infrastructure protects publisher margins and ensures a trustworthy platform for all users.
YOUR MISSION & WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- AdTech Domain & Anti-Fraud Core Requirement
You bring a solid foundation in the AdTech ecosystem (publishers, advertisers, SDK attribution, monetization) and direct exposure to cheating in mobile games. Joining our Anti-Fraud Operations unit, you will act as the primary technical PoC for Support, Sales, and BI teams, owning complex fraud escalations and translating business edge cases into technical fixes.
- Investigative Mindset & Root-Cause Analysis
You possess eagle-eyed curiosity and an investigative, hacker mindset. When publisher margins drop, external platforms (iOS/Android) shift, or campaigns misbehave, you won't wait for step-by-step instructions—you will connect messy clues, reproduce exploit scenarios, and trace non-obvious fraud patterns to their source.
- AI-Empowered Big Data Interrogation
You will leverage AI tools alongside Trino SQL, ScyllaDB, and DynamoDB to rapidly query and analyze billions of daily telemetry events. You will direct AI to accelerate complex data analyses, build models, and surface bad actors in real time without getting bogged down in manual query assembly.
- Observability, Profiling & Microservice Debugging
You will monitor platform health and debug system anomalies using Kibana, Grafana, and Go profiling tools like Pyroscope and pprof. You will trace real-time pipeline bottlenecks and API glitches across Kafka, SQS, and Go microservices to catch bugs or platform misconfigurations.
- Cross-Functional Fraud Mitigation & Pragmatic Engineering
You bring a functional software development background in backend engineering (preferably Go) alongside experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, allowing you to comfortably navigate backend code logic. Collaborating with Backend, Mobile, and Data Science teams, you will use AI to draft clean code fixes, propose new detection rules, and take full responsibility for deploying verified mitigations that protect publisher margins.
🌎 WE WELCOME APPLICATIONS FROM TALENT WORLDWIDE AND PROVIDE RELOCATION SUPPORT TO HAMBURG, GERMANY FOR THOSE READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM.
What’s in It for You?
At adjoe, you’re not here to just close JIRA tickets, you’re helping build the infrastructure behind one of the most impactful platforms in adtech. The systems you work on will reach hundreds of millions of users and power billions of decisions every day.
- Go Big. Own projects with impact on 770M users and push adtech boundaries.
- Move Fast. Ship solutions multiple times a day, learn from results, and keep momentum.
- Be Direct. Solve problems openly and collaborate across teams.
- Thrive Together. Grow with a diverse, global team of people from over 40 different countries that learn from each other.
- Have Fun. Celebrate wins, enjoy daily victories, and bring your energy.
We welcome applications from people who will contribute to the diversity of our company.

Your initial focus will be Singapore and other key Asian markets.
THE OPPORTUNITY

- Engage directly with key policymakers and regulators, starting with Singapore (MAS and other government bodies), the Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea and others
- Gain external visibility working with trade associations and other external players
- Monitor, analyze, and advise internally on legislative and regulatory developments across the region, keeping a global view

- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5–9 years of hands-on experience with financial services policy and regulation in APAC, gained at regulators or government bodies (e.g. MAS or peer authorities in the region), in similar in-house roles, political consultancies, or relevant trade associations
- Existing network in Singapore and, ideally, across the wider region
- Understanding of or an interest in financial services and digital policy, including the emerging regional frameworks for digital assets, payments, and stablecoins
- Team-oriented mindset, proactive and entrepreneurial approach, the ability to embrace a steep learning curve, and to face headwinds
- Comfort operating across diverse regulatory cultures and political systems, and willingness to travel within the region
- Passion for the industry and an interest in Kraken's offerings and its global impact
NICE TO HAVES
- Knowledge of payments, AML, cyber, or other financial services and digital policy frameworks in the region
- Experience with drafting responses to public consultations
- Exposure to Central Asian, Australian, or Middle Eastern regulatory environments
- Interest in international politics and the ability to explain it to a diversified audience
- Prior exposure to the work of international standard setters (IOSCO, OECD, FATF) and an understanding of how their work relates to national and regional policies
- Regional language skills are a plus
