How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About The Anthropic Institute The Anthropic Institute (TAI) is a function within Anthropic that works to advance the public conversation around AI. The Institute is comprised of research teams tackling some of AI's most consequential societal challenges: the Frontier Red Team, which stress tests our systems against catastrophic risks; Societal Impacts, which studies how Claude is used by millions of people; Economic Research, which tracks AI's impact on people's jobs and the larger economy; the Rule of Law team, which studies AI's impacts to democracy; and more. The Institute's mission is to reduce information asymmetries between Anthropic and the outside world, name and answer the hard questions implied by powerful AI systems, and publish these findings so that policymakers, researchers, technology leaders, and the public can reckon with what's here and what's to come. About the role The role. You will build and lead the Institute’s tabletop exercise program and the team that runs it. Based on trends visible in the exponential and in consultation with technical experts, you will set the research agenda: which questions the exercises should answer, which scenarios to run, with which audiences, and what each run is meant to test. You will own the methods that make results comparable across runs and turn them into findings people outside the room can use. You will hire and manage a team plus a bench of facilitators, and you will be the program’s public voice. Why tabletop exercises? If RSI arrives, the hardest problems will be about making decisions under uncertainty. The people making them may not trust each other, and the authorities they work under may not be fit-for-purpose. A tabletop exercise (TTX) allows the people who would face that situation practice it before it is real. It also shows us what tools and information they reach for, including what they would need that does not exist yet. Tabletop exercises are also a research method. You can run the same scenario many times, with different groups of people (and with many more AI agents playing in silico), and you start to see the distribution of decisions people make. This is one of the few ways to generate empirical evidence about the future, i.e., how people and institutions will respond to situations that have not happened yet. Key responsibilities Set the program’s research agenda: the questions exercises should answer, the scenarios to run, and the audience for each Design exercises as empirical studies: define what each run tests, standardize scenarios and data capture so results are comparable, and use repeated play to map the range of outcomes Build the program’s measurement: pre- and post-exercise assessments, decision logs, transcript analysis and after-action reports Turn results into findings: publish on what the exercises show, and brief senior people inside and outside Anthropic on the gaps they expose Hire, manage and develop a team and a bench of facilitators Make the program scalable: maintain a library of tested scenarios that the team reuses most of the time, refreshed on a regular cadence so they stay timely Build a facilitator kit ("TTX in a box") so other internal teams or external partners can run exercises to the same standard Create and direct the tools behind the exercises, including Claude-driven simulations that generate a live outside-world feed during play Minimum qualifications Have designed and run tabletop exercises, wargames, or simulations for senior decision-makers and published on the subject Have training in a discipline that uses simulation, experimental methods or structured analysis Have 10+ years of experience in national security, government, technology policy, or strategy Can keep the scenarios technically grounded with a strong grasp of AI capabilities and safety research Have managed a team, including hiring, setting direction, giving feedback and developing people Use Claude and other AI tools extensively in your own work Care about AI safety and Anthropic's public benefit mission Preferred qualifications Published research on wargaming methods, simulation or crisis decision-making Run exercises that fed into real policy or crisis-response decisions Run multi-iteration or experimental wargames and analyzed results across runs Used AI agents or language models as players, adjudicators or analysts in simulations Led a research program or team through a period of growth Existing relationships across national security, government, policy and AI, and are trusted in those communities Published widely read work on AI, emerging technology, strategy or crisis decision-making We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Who we are Chainguard is the trusted source for open source. By delivering hardened, secure, and production-ready builds of all the open source software engineers and AI agents rely on, Chainguard helps organizations build faster, stay compliant, and eliminate risk. Our customers include Fortune 500 enterprises and global industry leaders, including Anduril, Canva, Fortinet, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, OpenAI, Snap Inc., and Snowflake. Chainguard is venture-backed by leading investors, including Amplify, IVP, Kleiner Perkins, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Mantis VC, Redpoint Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and Spark Capital. Include the term "DiscoTech" on the resume The role, in a nutshell Chainguard Containers is our core product, and this team builds it. As Principal Software Engineer in Container Product Engineering you will be the most senior individual contributor on a team of about fifteen engineers, setting the technical direction for the product and leading its largest, most consequential projects from idea to customer. Chainguard is growing explosively. Every line of code is now written with AI in the loop, which means the foundation it runs on has to be secure by default. You will shape that foundation: the hardened container images, the registry that serves them, and the tooling that lets engineers and AI agents adopt them. This is a technical leadership role, not a management role. You will work directly with engineering and product leaders to form the roadmap, then lead engineers across sub-teams to execute it. You will stay hands-on: you write and review code every week, and the hardest problems land on your desk first. What the team owns Product features for Chainguard Containers. Letting customers push their own images to our registry, Custom Assembly (customers compose images from our hardened packages), Helm charts, notifications, and compliance views such as STIG dashboards (STIG is the US government's hardening standard). The image build pipeline. The systems that turn packages from Wolfi, our Linux distribution, into signed and attested container images at scale, including moving image builds onto our own runner infrastructure. Registry performance and distribution. Work such as lazy loading, so a container starts before its whole image has downloaded, and image signing with Sigstore. Adoption tooling for engineers and AI agents. Migration tools that convert existing Dockerfiles to Chainguard Containers, and MCP servers (Model Context Protocol, the standard that lets AI agents call tools) so agents can discover and pull our images directly. What you'll do Set the technical direction for Chainguard Containers: the architecture of the build pipeline, the registry, and the adoption tooling over the next one to three years, written down and defended in the open. Form the roadmap with engineering and product leaders, then execute it. Turn ambiguous business goals into sequenced, staffed technical plans, and own the delivery of the largest multi-team projects from concept through production and adoption. Make and own the trade-offs that shape the product: build versus buy, when to re-platform and when not to, what to cut to hit a date. Write the decision down and bring dissenting engineers along. Lead through other engineers. Set the design bar, review the designs and code that matter most, and grow the Staff and Senior engineers around you into the next generation of technical leaders. Work with AI coding agents as part of how you build, review, and operate, and set the standard for how the whole team uses them safely as volume grows. Follow a problem wherever it goes: another team's service, a customer escalation, a support ticket, or go-to-market data, and work across team and company boundaries to get ahead of planning cycles. Represent Chainguard in the container and open source ecosystem: upstream work, standards conversations, talks, and the customer conversations where credibility is the product. Keep the systems you own healthy: observability, on-call, and the structural fixes that stop whole classes of incidents. What we're looking for 10+ years building and operating software that paying customers use, including several years as the technical lead of large, multi-team projects at a startup or a company in hyper-growth. Closely relevant experience in what we do: container images, container registries and the OCI image format (Open Container Initiative, the standard for container images and registries), Linux distributions or package management, build systems, or software supply chain security. Known in the field. Your work is visible outside your employer: open source you maintain, standards you helped shape, talks or writing that other engineers cite, or systems the industry knows you built. A track record of technical leadership without authority: you have set direction for a team you did not manage, and the team delivered. Experience forming and executing roadmaps with engineering and product leaders, including saying no, re-sequencing, and holding a date. Judgment on trade-offs at the product level. You have made calls that moved a company's roadmap, and you can show what you gave up and why. A systems thinker who designs for the whole path, from upstream source through build, signing, distribution, and the customer's runtime, and who sees second-order effects before they land. High agency and urgency. You find a way, you do not wait to be unblocked, and you unblock others. AI-native in how you build and lead. You use agentic coding tools daily and you have changed how a team works because of them. Architectural depth in Go: you can design a Go service from scratch, plus strong API design, databases and caching, and cloud infrastructure on GCP or AWS. Low ego. You do what you say and say what you do, and you communicate early when the news is bad. Excellent written English and experience leading on a distributed, remote-first team. Nice to haves Deep software supply chain security background: SBOMs (software bill of materials), Sigstore signing, or SLSA (Supply-chain Levels for Software Artifacts, a framework for build integrity). Maintainer of, or significant contributor to, Chainguard's open-source tools (Wolfi, apko, melange) or neighboring projects such as containerd, Kubernetes, or OCI specifications. Experience taking a product from early customers to broad adoption. Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code experience. A non-traditional path into engineering. We value people who learned by building. Location Remote. United States preferred; Open to Canada, the United Kingdom, and Germany. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship or relocation for this role. Explore Our Work Dive into the practical side of what we do at Chainguard. Location: San Francisco; London; Seattle; New York City; Toronto ABOUT THE ROLE The Enterprise Trust & Governance team builds the control plane that lets the world’s largest organizations deploy Perplexity broadly and with confidence. Computer and our agents work across a growing share of our customers’ environments, tools, and models. For administrators, that makes precise, enforceable control essential: who can do what, with which data, through which agents, and within what usage limits. This team makes those controls easy to manage, reliable and consistent across every product, and transparent to the people accountable for them. This is a product and platform engineering role with end-to-end ownership, from shaping the architecture and policy models to shipping the experiences our customers’ administrators and security teams use every day. You’ll work across product and infrastructure teams to turn complex enterprise requirements into reusable primitives and intuitive controls. The scope spans identity and provisioning, fine-grained role-based access across connectors, tool actions, and models, customer-managed encryption keys, admin APIs, audit logs, and policy and usage controls. Strong governance helps enterprises move from pilots to company-wide rollouts and gives them the confidence to entrust agents with greater responsibility over time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Own enterprise identity and provisioning, including SSO (SAML/OIDC), SCIM, WorkOS integrations, and support for identity providers such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID. - Build the permissions platform, with fine-grained roles and permissions for connectors, tool actions, models, and model effort levels, enforced consistently across products and agent workflows. - Design and ship secure, well-documented admin APIs for audit logs, members, groups, roles, and settings. - Build policy controls for model and feature availability, staged rollouts, model deprecations, usage and spend limits, alerts, and cost-center allocation. - Build admin-facing analytics for adoption, usage, spend, and policy enforcement, helping organizations measure value and manage their deployments. - Deliver audit logs and change notifications that help administrators investigate activity, track configuration changes, and support compliance. - Set the technical bar for authorization correctness and reliability, with fast, consistent, explainable permission checks, well-defined failure behavior, and strong tenant isolation. - Partner with Product, Design, Security, Sales, and Customer Success to translate complex enterprise requirements into reusable platform capabilities and intuitive admin experiences. QUALIFICATIONS - 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of owning complex backend systems from design through production operation. - Strong system design skills, including building reliable, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platforms with clear security and isolation boundaries. - Strong proficiency in a backend language such as Python, Go, or Rust, and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Kubernetes. - Deep expertise in at least one of the following: - Enterprise identity and provisioning, including OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM. - Permissions platforms, fine-grained authorization, and policy enforcement. - Encryption, customer-managed keys, and key lifecycle management. - Enterprise admin platforms, audit infrastructure, or usage and spend analytics. - Experience building or integrating enterprise identity and access systems, including platforms such as WorkOS, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID. - Sound technical judgment in security-sensitive systems, balancing threat models, authorization correctness, and failure behavior with usability and delivery speed. - A track record of leading ambiguous, cross-team initiatives from architecture through adoption, setting technical direction for shared platforms, and raising engineering quality through mentorship. If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every qualification. We value demonstrated impact, deep ownership, and the initiative to turn ambiguity into results.

Location: United Kingdom; Brazil; United Arab Emirates; Ireland; Peru; Sweden; Colombia; Argentina; Romania; Cyprus; Switzerland; Portugal; Lithuania; South Africa; Czech Republic; Canada; Hungary; Mexico; Chile; Poland; Spain; Bulgaria Workplace: Remote BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. THE TEAM Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients. Growth at Kraken is being rebuilt around an AI-native platform. Instead of people manually building audiences, writing copy, adjusting budgets, and scheduling sends, agents find opportunities, make decisions, and execute across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels. They learn from every result and keep going. People still run the system. Operators use a central hub to set the rules the agents follow, review and approve what they produce, and handle exceptions when something doesn’t fit. The platform also has to work across many markets and languages, and it operates in a regulated industry, so there are compliance checks and approval steps built in. The team is a small, cross-functional group of growth, product, and engineering people who build this platform and run it day to day. We ship often, learn fast, and raise the quality bar with every release. You will work most closely with the engineers building the platform, the product team defining how operators use it, and the operators who rely on it every day. QA and operations is how the whole team knows the platform can be trusted. THE OPPORTUNITY You will own day-to-day operations and QA for our internal growth platform. You test it, catch problems before our customers do, keep approvals and exception queues moving, and report on how it’s performing. You will work closely with product, engineering and operators to make sure the platform works and keeps working. - This is a hands-on, detail-focused role. You will spend your days in the product, testing what’s new, checking what should already work, and writing up what you find so it gets fixed. - Test the platform regularly. Cover new releases, rule changes, and edge cases, and run regression checks to make sure existing features still work. - Find bugs and document them clearly, with steps to reproduce, severity, and impact. Follow them through until engineering fixes them and you’ve verified the fix. - Monitor platform performance and agent activity, flag anything that looks wrong, and escalate it to the right person. - Work the approval queues daily. Keep items moving and make sure nothing is left unreviewed. - Check agent output against defined checklists and standards, and escalate anything unclear or risky.Note where flows are confusing or inconsistent, and flag them to the team. - Write and maintain documentation: test plans, QA checklists, runbooks, and release notes. WHAT YOU BRING - Experience in QA, testing, operations, support, or analytics, ideally on a software product or complex system - Exceptional attention to detail. You notice what others miss and double-check your work. - A structured approach to testing. You can create and follow a test plan, and think about what could break. - Clear written communication. Your bug reports and documentation should be easy for anyone to follow. - Comfort with data. You can read a dashboard and tell when a number looks off. - Fast learner. You pick up new tools and systems quickly and ask thoughtful questions. - AI-native habits. You use AI tools in your own work every day, and you’re curious about where they get things wrong. - Prompt engineering curiosity, you don't need to be an engineer, but you are willing to learn how to communicate with AI systems precisely and improve their outputs - Reliability. You keep to a routine, keep your queues clear, and tell people early when something is stuck. NICE TO HAVES - Experience testing software products or AI and LLM-based tools - Familiarity with Jira, Mixpanel, or similar tools - Exposure to marketing, CRM, or lifecycle messaging workflows - Interest in fintech or crypto Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution. We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. OUR COMMITMENT Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto. We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. You also identify data points that aren't yet tracked but would uncover new insights and change strategy - Comfortable driving cross-functional outcomes without direct authority, working effectively with Account Management, FDE, RevOps, and GTM to move adoption forward - Experience managing a high-volume book of business at scale, mid-market or commercial segment - Language Requirements - must be proficient in English. GROWTH POTENTIAL We believe in hiring the best talent in the world to make an impact in the right role at the right time. At ElevenLabs, strong performance creates opportunities for growth. Here are some of the career paths you can expect after excelling in this role: - Growth Roles - Regional Adoption Lead - Other teams: Account Management, Digital CX or Deployment Strategist LOCATION This is a remote-first role. About the role We’re hiring our first Product Enablement specialist. You will join the Product & Technical Enablement team and help our go-to-market teams get ready for every product launch, across Agents, APIs, and Creative. You will support our global go-to-market teams. Your mission: help sellers understand, demo, and sell each new launch with confidence, with preparation that starts well before launch day. What sets this role apart: we’re looking for someone who knows our products well enough to demo them and sell them. You have used agents, APIs, or creative tools hands-on, and you can explain how they work and why they matter to customers. You blend that with sales, solutions engineering, or product marketing experience, so you can teach sellers how to use a product, how to demo it, and how to pitch it. This role sits within GTM Enablement and reports to the Product & Technical Enablement Lead. You will work in close partnership with: - Product marketing and engineering teams (keeping content accurate as the platform ships) - GTM enablement (aligning on shared onboarding infrastructure) You will support product enablement for our go-to-market teams across Agents, APIs, and Creative, with the most day-to-day focus on API and Creative launches. This is a full-stack role on a lean team: you’ll build content, deliver training, design practice environments, and flex across products as needed. What you’ll do - Support new product launches: get an early heads-up from product marketing, research, and engineering, follow releases from alpha through GA, and have training ready before launch day, not the week of - Build launch workshops: go beyond what shipped and why it matters, with hands-on workshops on how to use the product, how to demo it, and how to pitch the value - Support competitive enablement: turn product marketing battlecards into trainings, simulations, and demo workshops, so sellers can answer parity, differentiation, and value questions with confidence - Support product certification: help define what “product certified” means for GTM teams, and build the playbooks and training content that raise product confidence across the whole field, not only new hires - Support everboarding and onboarding: keep training tied to new releases and capabilities, and keep content current as products ship - Craft realistic practice environments: demo certifications, role-play scenarios, and customer simulations with scored feedback, built on our own agent technology - Operate AI-natively: use ElevenLabs’ own voice and agent technology to build training and practice environments; default to AI tools to build faster, and teach others to do the same - Measure what matters: define and track the percent of sellers certified within 2 weeks of GA, demo and pitch quality scores, and win rate and stage progression against named competitors, and use the data to improve each launch Requirements We’re looking for someone who knows our products well and can teach sellers to demo and sell them. You’ll thrive here if you: - Have 4-7+ years as an enterprise seller or solutions engineer, or as a seller who moved into product marketing or enablement, at a SaaS, platform, or API-first company - Are hands-on with agents, APIs, or creative tools, and understand at a conceptual level how they work - Have demoed and pitched technical products to customers, and can explain the value, not only the features - Have a track record of teaching, mentoring, or building training, in addition to your customer-facing work - Are comfortable building a program from scratch, with no playbook to inherit - Have credibility with sellers, built from time in the seat or supporting sellers directly, and work well with product marketing, research, and engineering teams - Communicate clearly and can adapt product material for different audiences without diluting it Bonus - Experience at a high-growth AI/ML, developer tools, or API-first company - Background in voice AI, conversational AI, or contact center technology - Vertical depth in financial services, healthcare, telecom or CCaaS, or at other AI companies - Hands-on experience with competing voice and agent platforms - Experience running workshops or labs for sellers or customers - Experience building role-play, simulation, or demo practice environments Location Remote-first, globally distributed role. Expect occasional travel to team hubs and onboarding sessions. Candidates should be able to work effectively across US and European time zones. About the role We’re hiring a Sales Execution & NA Enablement Lead to raise how our enterprise sellers plan, pursue, and win complex, technical deals. This is not a traditional training role. You’ll set the standard for what great enterprise selling looks like, turn it into artifacts and operating rhythms, and make sure sellers and managers actually use it. The role has two mandates: own key global sales execution programs, and act as the primary Enablement partner to North America sales leadership. You’ll work closely with the Global Head of Enablement, Sales Leadership, RevOps, Product Marketing, Product & Technical Enablement, and FDE. What you’ll do - Own enterprise sales execution: Build and operationalize the critical artifacts that drive excellent sales execution. - Enable sellers to win technical enterprise deals: Coach reps to build business cases with champions, read 10-Ks, and connect ElevenLabs capabilities to measurable outcomes for technical and economic buyers. - Partner with NA leadership on enablement: Diagnose field gaps and adapt global programs to NA needs, including competitive positioning, developer-led motions, and vertical playbooks. - Facilitate globally: Lead highly engaging, practical sales execution sessions, not just build the programs behind them. - Manage the coaching and operating rhythm: Embed selling standards and artifacts into how managers inspect deals and coach sellers. - Build the foundation for a vertical selling motion: Lay the groundwork for vertical selling, which is becoming a global priority, not just an NA need. - Execute in an AI-native way: Use AI to scale coaching, practice, and reinforcement, going beyond general AI fluency. Requirements - 10+ years experience in enterprise sales leadership and enablement experience, ideally in an AI-native or developer-focused company - Excellence building and operationalizing value-selling artifacts across sales org with measurable results - Experience with MEDDICC, Command of the Message, Challenger, or similar methodologies, and the judgment to adapt them - Experience enabling frontline sales managers and building strong coaching methodologies - AI fluency, and comfort building in a fast-growing environment where the operating model is still taking shape - Enough technical depth to credibly support sellers selling to developers and technical buyers - Proven cross-functional influence across Sales, RevOps, PMM, Product, and FDE teams - Bonus: Experience working in voice AI Location This is a remote-first role. Candidates must be based in North America. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or other legally protected statuses.
Location: San Francisco; New York City Workplace: Hybrid In 2026, we launched Computer, the defining product for the new era of agentic AI. Millions of people now use Perplexity to transform knowledge into action, and a growing share of them meet us first on their phone. The Growth team owns the product loops that help people discover, adopt, and build lasting habits around our most important AI experiences — and on mobile that means owning everything from the App Store listing to the first task a user finishes to the moment they upgrade. As an Android growth engineer at Perplexity, you'll work across the full mobile funnel — install, activation, onboarding, push and lifecycle messaging, conversion, retention, and in-app purchase moments — for Perplexity, Comet, and Computer on Android. Engineers are responsible for end-to-end projects: rebuilding onboarding as a series of experiments, wiring in-app purchase and paywall surfaces to our billing systems, shipping notification experiences people actually keep enabled, and turning ASO and deep-link work into measurable adoption. Growth at Perplexity goes beyond incremental funnel optimization. The team sits close to the core product — we translate behavioral signals, model outputs, and fast experimentation into durable product surfaces used across consumer and enterprise workflows. You'll move fast, run many experiments in parallel, and own the outcome end-to-end, while respecting the constraints mobile brings: release cycles, store review, and version fragmentation. WHY PERPLEXITY IS DIFFERENT - Craftsmanship. We build high quality, tasteful products targeting both the AI native and AI curious. - Ownership. You identify the problem, design the solution and ship it. - Entrepreneurship. We think like founders, act with urgency, and hustle to deliver for each other and our users. - Scholarship. Work among highly talented peers, pursuing knowledge and truth, upleveling ourselves, our teams, and our products. - Partnership. We amplify each others' strengths, break down silos, and give selflessly to help our colleagues deliver excellence. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design, build, and own growth surfaces across the mobile funnel — install, activation, onboarding, lifecycle, conversion, retention, and paid upgrade moments — on Android. - Lead experiments end-to-end, from hypothesis and instrumentation through implementation, analysis, and rollout, shipping many in parallel despite app release cadence. Build the flag-driven and server-driven patterns that let us test without waiting on a store release. - Own in-app purchase and paywall surfaces: billing integrations, subscription and credit purchase flows, entitlement correctness, and pricing and packaging experiments. - Build push and lifecycle notification experiences that earn their opt-in — permission prompts, targeting, timing, deep links back into the right task, and the instrumentation to prove they drive retention rather than churn. - Make cross-platform surfaces feel native. Partner with web and design engineers so onboarding, upsells, and in-task nudges are consistent across web, iOS, and Android - Partner with rest of Growth to optimize app store performance and attribution - Hill-climb on the metrics that matter: install-to-activation, D1/D7/D30 retention, notification opt-in and engagement, paid conversion, and habit formation, instrumented with clean data and trustworthy experiment readouts. - Partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Monetization, Marketing, and the core Mobile team to translate behavioral signals into durable product surfaces. QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of professional mobile engineering experience shipping consumer apps at meaningful scale on Android. - Strong native skills — Kotlin/Jetpack Compose — and the willingness to flex into other parts of the stack to unblock yourself and others. - Experience owning a full release cycle: build and release tooling, phased rollouts, store review, crash and regression monitoring, and rolling back safely. - Strong execution: you ship many experiments and product improvements in parallel and drive them to a clear outcome. - Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation platforms (Eppo, Statsig, Optimizely, or in-house equivalents) especially inside a versioned app. - Comfort data-informed decision-making — you can pull, segment, and interpret your own funnel data. - Strong product judgment; you translate user behavior and growth opportunities into simple, effective technical solutions. - Self-motivated with strong ownership instincts; you propose experiments, ship features ahead of schedule, and drive improvements without asking for permission. - Genuine interest and adoption of AI products and willingness to learn quickly. NICE TO HAVE - Direct experience on a growth or experimentation-heavy team - Deep experience with in-app payments - Experience with mobile attribution and measurement stacks (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch) and paid mobile acquisition. - ASO experience, including store listing experiments and localized metadata. - Comfort reaching into the backend or web stack to unblock yourself end-to-end. - Time spent at a fast-growing startup or on a high-ownership engineering team.
