You will own the strategy, roadmap and commercial success of our alternate channels portfolio, covering agent banking, POS merchant acquiring, Distribution-led acquisition, banking, lending, and embedded finance (BaaS) partnerships. Own the P&L for the alternate channels portfolio, setting pricing and revenue targets and managing costs to ensure profitability.
Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking and customer research to identify new opportunities across agent banking, POS acquiring, distribution-led lending and embedded finance.
Shape short- and long-term roadmaps for each channel, driving synergy with Renmoney’s core digital products.
2.

POS Merchant Acquiring: Develop a differentiated value proposition for merchants. Oversee the strategy for POS devices, settlement processes and value-added services such as merchant lending and inventory management.
Distribution-Led Lending: Design and launch credit products that can be offered through partners (e.g., retail chains, device financiers, agent networks), balancing growth with prudent risk management.
Embedded Finance (BaaS): Define our API product suite, enabling third-party fintechs and businesses to integrate Renmoney’s credit and financial services into their platforms.
3.
Growth, Efficiency & Customer Experience
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to design and execute acquisition and activation strategies for agents and merchants.
Drive performance against numeric targets
Increase the number of active agents and merchants by ≥30% year-over-year.
Grow the value and volume of loans and savings balances disbursed via alternate channels by ≥40%.
Reduce onboarding and transaction turnaround times by ≥25%.
Improve cost per acquisition (CPA) by ≥15% while maintaining healthy unit economics.
Establish feedback loops with agents, merchants and partners and use data to drive continuous improvement in product features and processes.
Champion a world-class experience for all stakeholders and ensure high Net Promoter Scores (NPS), targeting a ≥20‑point improvement.
4.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all alternate channels adhere to Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations and other applicable standards. Maintain 100% KYC compliance and zero major regulatory incidents.
Work closely with Risk, Compliance and Legal teams to design products and processes that minimize fraud and support robust credit risk management. Maintain a non-performing loan (NPL) rate below 5% for loans disbursed via alternate channels.
Lead regular audits and embed controls throughout the product lifecycle.
Success Metrics / KPIs
Your performance will be measured against clear, quantifiable KPIs that directly tie to business outcomes:
•
Scale & Reach:
≥30% YoY growth in active agents and merchants; monthly transaction volume and value targets for agent banking and POS acquiring.
•
Portfolio Growth:
≥40% YoY growth in loan disbursement and savings balances via alternate channels; maintain NPL rates under 5%.
•
Profitability:
Achieve revenue and net transaction value (NTV) targets for each channel; manage the portfolio’s P&L to ensure profitable growth.
•
Efficiency & Quality:
Reduce agent/merchant onboarding time and loan/savings processing turnaround times by ≥25%; maintain high transaction success rates (TSR) and improve CPA by ≥15%.
•
Compliance & Risk:
100% KYC compliance and zero major regulatory findings; robust fraud detection and risk mitigation.
•
Satisfaction:
Achieve a ≥20‑point improvement in NPS for agents, merchants and partners; deliver best-in-class support and service resolution times.
Requirements
5–7 years of product management or channel management experience in fintech, banking, payments or digital services.
Hands-on experience launching and scaling at least one of the following: agent banking networks, POS merchant acquiring, B2B2C lending products, or embedded finance APIs.
Proven track record managing a product P&L and executing growth strategies in emerging markets.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in SQL, Excel, Mixpanel/Amplitude or similar analytics tools.
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams and engage senior stakeholders.
Deep understanding of the Nigerian financial services regulatory landscape, particularly CBN guidelines on agent banking, POS acquiring, KYC and consumer protection.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

Open source software is the new default in the enterprise, and Canonical is the new challenger to major enterprise software vendors.
We are profitable and growing our global enterprise sales organisation. We are hiring
regional sales team managers
in Europe, Middle East, India, Asia, ANZ, Africa, Latin America, Central America and North America, each of whom will lead a team of five to ten enterprise sales representatives.
We deliver better open source from the data center to cloud and edge. Our Linux distribution Ubuntu is now the leading platform for public cloud compute, and the favorite platform for software engineers, data scientists and AI developers. Our mission is to accelerate the adoption and quality of open source globally, and our goal is to ship the most software on the planet by cores. A tidal wave of open source innovation is the next phase of the entire enterprise software industry, and we aim to be the most compelling way to ride that wave.
Our customers include Global 500 enterprises and startups. We are expanding our product range from the base operating system - Ubuntu - to full enterprise solutions in infrastructure and applications. We can deliver software defined storage, private cloud solutions, container runtime environments, as well as databases, message queues, identity, observability, analytics, machine learning and web publishing capabilities. Customers love the idea that they can get security compliance and support for everything open source from a single company. Our goal is to have more solutions on tap than any other vendor, and we have built unique capabilities to make that possible across every cloud, every class of compute and every category of application.
Canonical provides licensed enterprise software products, commercial support, managed services, consulting and training services to customers who are deploying Ubuntu or open source applications on the cloud, in their data center, or to the connected device and IoT ecosystem. We are just over 1,000 colleagues in 70+ countries and over $250m in revenue, profitable, on a steady but relentless growth trajectory. We are almost entirely distributed, with leadership spread across many countries. We believe that talent is equally distributed across the globe, and we are excited to hire, develop, promote and ultimately trust a diverse group of exceptional leads to build the best, not biggest, enterprise software company.
We hire carefully and deliberately; our selection process is long and requires substantial work from applicants. It will take successful applicants three to six months to secure an offer. This is not a place to apply if you are in a rush to find a position, it is a worthwhile place to apply if you are ambitious and long-term in your thinking about your career and the dynamics which move the world forward. If you see clearly the rise of open source, and you understand the drivers of enterprise procurement and technical decision making, then you will understand why Canonical has such a tremendous long term advantage. You will also understand, given the ferocity of competition and the challenges of competing in a market of giants, that we have to set a very high bar for hiring and performance. In order to be a world leading company we select for exceptional ability as well as character, and then provide an environment which promotes teamwork and celebrates diligence, collaboration and effectiveness. All of those are easy to say but hard to do - at Canonical we are willing to be uncomfortable in pursuit of that excellence.
In building our sales team, we look for five things:
Empathy for the customer - a real understanding of customer needs, industry-specific challenges, and a desire to help customers solve their business problems
High intellect - the ability to learn quickly, understand very complex subjects, and communicate clearly to build trust and confidence
Passion for technology - a fascination with the state of the art from brilliant people solving hard problems, and fierce competition for large prizes
Teamwork - a willingness to help others, to collaborate well with people from different disciplines, and to balance personal and team ambitions
Energy - the drive to motivate oneself and others to achieve the best result for the team and our customers
Ubuntu is already very widely adopted which gives us a credible basis for conversations in the market. Nevertheless, it requires real work for sales professionals to build on that adoption to create trusted and profitable commercial relationships with the enterprises in their territory. Our product managers and marketing teams run campaigns to generate awareness, engagement and leads, but you will need to go beyond managing inbound interest to develop the potential of your territory. You will need judgement as to which industries and companies are ready to go deeper with open source and Canonical, and energy to develop relationships in advance of proven interest. We expect professional practice, territory and account planning, as well as clear, complete and continuous reporting on pipeline status and activity, using standard professional tools.
The successful candidate will carry an annual team bookings quota within their territory. They should be able to travel regionally for client engagements or, industry conferences, and internationally for company events twice a year. They will be expected to demonstrate professionalism and effectiveness in managing their team. They will need to coach, mentor and lead by example. Their sales representatives are expected to prospect accounts for new business, maintain and develop existing relationships, and work with colleagues and partners on account strategy. They must be comfortable selling enterprise software, open source, cloud, virtualization, container technologies and technical software solutions to senior levels of the enterprise.
Location:
We are expanding our sales organisation globally and have open sales team manager roles in every region.
What your day will look like
Build and execute a territory plan to prioritize outreach and prospecting
Allocate portions of territory and accounts to sales representatives on your team
Identify and prioritise new logo accounts in your territory for account-based marketing and prospecting
Ensure that sales representatives have high quality account plans for existing accounts and priority prospects
Monitor new pipeline development by your team, through outreach, prospecting, local marketing, and industry events
Support contract closure to meet and exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets
Be mindful and proactive in achieving tactical and strategic objectives
Work with customer success to identify growth opportunities
Ensure your team maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts within Salesforce
Represent the company, its solutions and software
What we are looking for in you

Specific vertical experience, in particular finance, telco, health, energy, public sector, tech
Experience speaking at conferences or industry events
What we offer you
We consider geographical location, experience, and performance when shaping compensation worldwide. We revisit compensation annually (and more often for graduates and associates) to ensure we recognise outstanding performance. In addition to base pay, we offer a performance-driven commission structure. We provide all team members with additional benefits, which reflect our values and ideals. We balance our programs to meet local needs and ensure fairness globally.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often providers are overwhelmed with the painstakingly tedious work required to get paid by insurance companies. Powered by proprietary models, Tennr handles the complex paperwork that gets patients through the door and providers paid, helping operators get patients the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As an Enterprise Account Executive you close deals by understanding the customer, understanding the product and making magic happen. Who knew?
The Tennr product is great, but people are stubborn and tend to not talk to strangers.
To help, we’ve got a team of Sales Development representatives working to help you generate opportunities. Also some pretty crafty marketing initiatives (the Tennr Taco Truck really means something to medical providers in Texas)
If you’re good, you’ll get paid an egregious sum, so in exchange, you have to own the whole sales cycle from discovery to close, and keep a tight process along the way. You’ll negotiate pricing. You will never sell what you wouldn’t buy. You must deeply care about your customers and the craft of sales. And since the product is loved, you’ll love selling it.
You’ll have to hit quotas of course. Wouldn’t be much fun otherwise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Account Planning: As an enterprise rep it is your responsibility to understand your patch of accounts better than anyone at the company. You, along with your manager, will be responsible for mapping out the accounts that fit our ICP, the key contacts associated with them, and your hypothesis around the value we can provide. It’s your job to test and iterate your perspective throughout an evaluation process.
- Pipeline Management: Use Tennr’s sales process to manage your pipeline. It’s not just putting deals into our CRM, but understanding the reality and risks of the deal based on the exit criteria associated with deal stages in our sales process. When you’re stuck, you proactively ask for help.
- Collaboration: Deal team culture is central here. You will work closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Tennr Leadership and channel partners to build, advance and close opportunities. Lone-wolves need not apply.
- Client Relationships: You are responsible for forming a relationship with the customer, renewing that customer, and cross-selling into that customer.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of software sales closing experience preferred, with experience selling a complex workflow technology solution
- No less than 1 year of enterprise sales experience

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
