Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to join our Data Engineering team based in London.
As the Data Platform Team, we strive to create the world’s leading, commercially scalable, safe, and advanced humanoid robots that seamlessly integrate into daily life and amplify human capacity.
We’re looking for experienced Engineers to help build our data platform from the ground up. You’ll have the opportunity to define its architecture, make key decisions, and shape how we handle and process petabyte-scale data in the near future.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build the Capability Factory - an internal platform designed for everyone from software engineers to non-technical operators, enabling the entire organization to teach HMND robots new skills at scale, from raw data all the way to deployed capabilities.
- Curate, preprocess, and manage large-scale datasets for humanoid robot training - a corpus of robot telemetry growing toward petabyte scale.
- Design and operate highly scalable data pipelines and the compute infrastructure that powers them, ensuring reliability and throughput as data volume and team demands grow.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of training data across multiple concurrent projects and robot platforms.
- Collaborate with machine learning teams to shape the Capability Factory, streamline MLOps, and build the evaluation workflows that close the loop between training runs and real-world robot performance.
- Build data warehouse solutions and BI dashboards that give stakeholders across the organization clear visibility into data collection, model progress, and operational health.
- Establish and uphold best practices for data management - versioning, access control, security, and compliance.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of owning and delivering complex systems end-to-end, not just contributing to them.
- Strong backend engineering - designing and operating production-grade APIs and services: clean data modeling, reliable error handling, performance under load.
- Data engineering at PB+ scale - building and maintaining pipelines that move, transform, and validate large volumes of data reliably; understanding of batch and streaming processing patterns, data quality, and schema evolution.
- Workflow orchestration at scale - designing and operating multi-step automated pipelines with retries, observability, and graceful failure handling.
- Distributed systems fundamentals - you understand how things break at scale: eventual consistency, idempotency, backpressure, job scheduling, and failure modes in distributed compute and storage.
- Cloud infrastructure fluency - you have shipped and operated real systems on a major cloud provider; you think about cost, reliability, and security as first-class concerns, not afterthoughts.
- Container orchestration - deploying and operating workloads on Kubernetes at a level where you can debug scheduling issues, design resource allocation, and reason about cluster health without guidance.
- Full-stack range - comfortable building both the backend and the frontend of an internal product; you can own a feature from database schema to UI without handing off.
- Production ownership mindset - you've been on-call, triaged incidents under pressure, and improved systems after postmortems. You take reliability personally.
Nice to Have
- ML infrastructure or MLOps experience - understanding of how training jobs run, how model artifacts are managed, and what makes an evaluation pipeline trustworthy; you've worked alongside or directly supported ML researchers.
- Distributed compute frameworks - experience with large-scale parallel data processing, whether for data transformation, model training, or evaluation.
- Domain knowledge in robotics or embodied AI - familiarity with robot data formats, sensor telemetry, or the sim-to-real evaluation loop is a significant head start.
- BI and data warehouse experience - building data models and dashboards that translate raw operational data into decisions for non-technical stakeholders.
- Dual-cloud or multi-cloud storage - experience reasoning about cost, latency, and consistency tradeoffs across storage providers.
- Frontend product sense - beyond just shipping features, you have opinions about what makes an internal tool actually usable by non-engineers.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.
- Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.
- Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Our mission on the Connectivity team is to make Claude the most connected AI. As agents take on more real-world work, we're taking a leading role in defining how they get access to external systems — safely, with the right permissions, and in ways enterprises can trust. We ship for
claude.ai
, Claude Code, Cowork, and the API. We own the MCP proxy that routes every tool call and the OAuth and token management that keeps connections authenticated. We're also core contributors to the MCP spec — now an open standard under the Linux Foundation — and maintain the official Python and TypeScript SDKs.
We're looking for an experienced engineering leader to lead a team of Connectivity engineers based in London. The Connectivity team spans San Francisco and London, and you'll work closely with engineering leadership and partner teams in San Francisco to set direction and deliver together across both sites. You'll lead a team working on problems where reliability and enterprise trust are the bar: token refresh at scale, admin controls that let IT govern what agents can do, and proxy infrastructure that stays up when partner servers don't.
Key responsibilities
Lead a team of engineers building the connectivity infrastructure that powers tool use across Anthropic's product suite, from the MCP proxy to OAuth and token management
Take an inclusive, equitable approach to hiring and coaching top technical talent, and maintain a high-performing team
Coach, mentor, and provide career development guidance to your direct reports, helping them set and achieve their professional goals
Partner with Connectivity engineering leadership in San Francisco, along with product, security, and platform teams, to define the team's roadmap and create clarity for the team in an ambiguous and evolving environment
Drive cross-team and cross-org alignment to ship work that spans
claude.ai
, Claude Code, Cowork, and the API, working effectively with teams primarily based in the US
Establish and drive adoption of engineering best practices within your team, including the operational rigor (on-call, incident response, postmortems) required for infrastructure that other teams and external partners depend on
Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Anthropic's engineering management team
Minimum qualifications
Experience managing software engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
A technical background in backend or platform engineering, with the depth to guide architectural decisions and engage credibly in technical discussions
Experience operating production distributed systems, with an understanding of what reliability, observability, and incident response require at scale
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build consensus across teams and time zones
Demonstrated success building a culture of belonging, and of product and engineering excellence
Preferred qualifications
3+ years of experience as an engineering manager
Familiarity with MCP or experience contributing to open standards or open source ecosystems
Experience leading teams that collaborate closely with distributed or cross-timezone partner teams
Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts such as OAuth, token management, or identity systems
Experience building or operating API gateways, proxies, or multi-tenant platforms
Experience building for enterprise customers, including admin controls, governance, and compliance requirements
Experience working on AI/ML products or agentic systems
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.

Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

At ClickUp, we're building the future of work: the first truly converged AI workspace unifying tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search, all supercharged by context-driven AI. We are an AI-native company. Every team member is expected to leverage AI daily, and we evaluate AI fluency as part of our hiring process. Join us and help redefine what's possible. 🚀
This role bridges infrastructure and product engineering: you'll build genuine partnerships across product, AI, and enterprise teams so that ownership is shared and velocity is never blocked by platform constraints. As a leader, you'll set a forward-looking cloud vision, proactively align with stakeholders across the business, and ensure the platform scales for multi-shard, multi-region growth while meeting security and compliance commitments (SOC 2, business continuity/disaster recovery, and enterprise security frameworks). You'll implement and drive the adoption of AI-powered tooling and autonomous agents within the infrastructure organization.
The Role:
- Cost Efficiency: Deliver measurable annual infrastructure savings by executing the migration of data workloads to EKS and self-hosting key services.
- Ingress Convergence: Deprecate legacy frontend ALBs and consolidate to a single EKS-managed ALB per shard, unblocking faster deployments across the org.
- Coverage & Bench Depth: Eliminate single points of ownership across Networking, OpenSearch, and Terraform through cross-training and targeted hiring.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Stand up a recurring alignment cadence with Product, AI, Enterprise, and Security so infra planning is driven by demand, not ad-hoc interrupts.
- Automation: Ship automated shard buildout via Backstage to remove manual toil from enterprise scaling.
- Reliability: Cut P0/P1 incidents attributed to Cloud Platform (DNS, ALB misconfiguration, EKS) through hardened ingress patterns and Terraform-policy guardrails. Own incident response and RCA follow-through for the team.
- Roadmap Ownership: Own and deliver against the team's roadmap for Agent enablement, centralized IaC, and deployment rollout acceleration, and contribute to the broader Cloud Platform strategy tied to AI and Enterprise revenue goals.
- Technical Leadership: Architect and contribute code to key initiatives (EKS migration, ALB consolidation, Backstage shard automation), and lead design reviews with senior engineers.
- People Leadership: Lead, grow, and retain a senior-heavy team distributed across the US, Canada, and Europe, spanning FTEs and contractors, with a focus on career development, cross-training, and bench depth.
- Vendor Management: Partner with Finance and leadership on AWS spend visibility and savings targets, manage contractor performance and budget, and keep a savings-pipeline mindset baked into planning.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 9+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering, including 5+ years in engineering management leading distributed teams of senior engineers while remaining hands-on.
- Deep AWS infrastructure mastery: EKS, networking (VPC/TGW/DNS), and Terraform at scale, with strong architectural judgment; able to review designs and guide senior engineers' technical decisions.
- Hands-on technical leadership: Actively architects, writes code, and develops systems alongside the team. You are a working engineer as well as a manager.
- Strategic roadmap ownership: Experience translating cloud priorities into 3–9 month team roadmaps tied to business outcomes across enterprise, AI, and cost, and delivering against them.
- Cross-team influence: Builds genuine partnerships across Product, Security, SRE, and DB orgs, driving shared ownership across traditional infra/product boundaries.
- Application-level curiosity: Genuinely understands what the product does, not just the infrastructure underneath, and extends ownership past traditional platform boundaries.
- People leadership: Proven experience managing, growing, and retaining senior, geographically distributed teams across FTE/contractor blends; builds bench depth and contributes to succession planning.
- Hiring: Experience running structured hiring loops and closing senior engineers, including into specialized gaps (networking, search, IaC).
- Operational rigor: Strong on-call instincts, incident ownership, and RCA follow-through.
- Security-first instincts: This team touches blast radius (auth enforcement, network isolation, shard boundaries). A verify-first, never-assume mindset is non-negotiable.
- AI & automation mindset: Uses AI tools daily in your own engineering work, with demonstrated appetite for DevSecOps agents, AI-assisted IaC migrations, and skills-based automation — a core part of the near-term roadmap.
- AI/ML infrastructure experience (strong plus): Scaling workloads like GPU orchestration, model-serving infrastructure, or cost-optimized compute for inference.
- Education: BS/MS in CS, Engineering, or equivalent.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
About the role:
Financial Incentives (FIN) is where Garner's promise becomes real for a member: the moment they are paid back for choosing better care. Behind that simple experience sits one of the hardest problems in the company. FIN ingests claims and eligibility feeds from third-party administrators, adjudicates them against benefit rules, accumulates member benefit, and moves real funds through payments and treasury. It does this under heavy and growing load, carrying PHI and PII, at the point where high-volume data from outside partners first enters Garner. When FIN is right, members are paid accurately and on time. When it is wrong, the failure is financial and visible.
We are hiring a Director to lead FIN Engineering, accountable for the full function (ingestion, eligibility, adjudication, accumulation, and payments/treasury): its correctness, reliability, security, and the pace at which it improves. You will lead a large, multi-team function, own its multi-year roadmap, and contribute to company-wide planning. The role is hands-on-keys: you will stay close to the code, the designs, and the incidents to hold a real technical opinion, and set an engineering quality bar the rest of the department measures itself against.
You will report to the CTO and lead a group of Engineering Managers and senior individual contributors across FIN's value streams.
Where you will work:
This role will be based in our New York City office (in the Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:
Own the outcomes, ingestion through payment.
Define what "correct" means for adjudication and money movement, and be accountable for adjudication accuracy, payment timeliness, ledger reconciliation, ingestion SLAs, and the roadmap that moves them.
Set the bar and the pace.
Establish the validation standards and definition of "done" the function ships against and hold the line under delivery pressure, running a performance culture on evidence: highest-value work first, manual toil automated away, engineers accountable for outcomes.
Stay close to the work.
Join the hard design reviews, read the code, dig into incidents, and hold defensible technical positions on adjudication logic, event contracts, data modeling, and money movement.
Make agent-first the default.
Make AI-native engineering how FIN works, not a side experiment: build the harnesses, validation frameworks, and Claude Skills that let squads ship faster and safer, and mature the org from assisted toward autonomous with real guardrails.
Own the technical direction.
Guide the backend toward event-contract boundaries that let teams ship independently and scale to tens of millions of claims, with the fault tolerance a pipeline that cannot drop or double-pay a claim demands, and own the security and data-integrity posture at the edge where partner data enters and funds leave: validate, quarantine, and reconcile rather than assume the inputs are clean.
Build and grow the team.
Hire, level, and develop Engineering Managers and senior ICs, own interviewer calibration, and design the org's structure and decision rights so ownership is clear.
Translate across the business.
Partner with the CTO, Product, Finance, Operations, and payment partners to turn business needs into technical plans and communicate risk and tradeoffs in terms leaders can act on.
The ideal candidate has:
10+ years building and operating high-scale, high-reliability backend systems, ideally ones that process large data volumes and/or move money.
5+ years leading engineering teams, including managing managers, in a high-accountability, high-urgency environment.
Technical credibility at scale: you can reason through a design doc, a schema, or an incident timeline and write the validation criteria that catch failure.
An opinionated point of view on agent-first / AI-native engineering: not just that teams should use AI, but how to make it the default operating model and mature it safely from assisted toward autonomous.
Experience with the demands of sensitive data (regulated PHI/PII/financial data, unvalidated third-party inputs, encryption, access, audit) and an instinct for reconciliation-first design.
Fluency in distributed systems and modern cloud: event-driven architecture, idempotency, fault tolerance, backpressure, and data consistency under load, plus AWS and API design.
An ownership mindset: you move problems to resolution without being asked and optimize relentlessly for member and business impact.
A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
What you'll get here:
You’ll work on problems that matter, at a company working to change healthcare at scale. You’ll work at the intersection of AI and systemic healthcare reform, where the problems we solve are as interesting and compelling as the mission.
At Garner, you’ll take on real, ambitious problems with real ownership and autonomy, alongside exceptional, principles-based people who genuinely want you to win. It’s demanding by design. You’ll be challenged to stretch beyond what you thought possible and receive consistent coaching to help you grow and do the best work of your career. This isn't the right fit for everyone, and that's intentional. The people here are driven by what's at stake for real people, and that's what gives our intensity its purpose.
Technologies we use:
Python, TypeScript, React, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Istio, Postgres, ElasticSearch, NATS, AWS, Terraform

Are you ready to join our digital revolution journey?
At Aleph, we’re not just part of the digital advertising landscape—we’re shaping its future. Representing the world’s leading platforms, including TikTok, Amazon, Google, and nearly 55 others, we operate in 130+ markets across new and existing geographies.
Our mission is to empower advertisers and brands to unlock the full potential of these platforms' advertising capabilities. By fostering long-lasting partnerships, we create limitless opportunities for people and businesses to advertise effectively at both local and global levels.
With a presence spanning continents, Aleph offers you the chance to be part of a fast-growing, innovative team where your work makes a direct impact. If you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, global environment, Aleph is the perfect place to build your career.
About The Role:
We're an advertising company that lives or dies by how well we connect to the outside world. We integrate with the major social and ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snap, and more) and wire them into our internal systems for billing and reporting. Data moves constantly and in both directions, at scale, and a meaningful part of our estate is legacy. You'll own the technical direction that keeps all of this coherent, resilient, and evolvable — and you'll stay close enough to the code to prove it.
This is the top of our individual-contributor ladder. You won't have direct reports; your leverage comes from setting direction, building the hard parts yourself, writing the decisions down, and getting engineers and leadership to build behind them. This is not a role that only draws diagrams — you'll ship production code on the riskiest paths, cut the spike that de-risks a migration, and go deep in the incidents nobody else can crack. We work across PHP, Go, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript; PHP and Go are both first-class and here to stay, and the right tool for a problem can land in either. You'll be the person who decides where new capability lands, how legacy gets retired, and how we absorb the constant churn of third-party APIs without breaking delivery.
What You'll Own:
The integration architecture for ingesting from and pushing to external ad/social platforms — versioning, rate limits, backfills, idempotency, webhooks, and graceful degradation when a partner API changes underneath us.
The data architecture for information flowing between platforms and internal systems: pipelines, reconciliation, contracts between services, and the path from operational data to reporting.
A pragmatic strategy for modernizing the legacy estate — strangler-fig migrations, clear service boundaries, and sound judgement about which language and pattern fit each problem — carried far enough into code that teams can follow the pattern.
The engineering bar for integration and data work: the reference implementations, patterns, and standards the org builds against, ratified through the technical committee.
What You'll Do:
Set the technical direction for new products and major changes, and stay the technical decision-maker through build and post-launch — with the authority to course-correct when implementation drifts, and the habit of being in the codebase to catch the drift early.
Build the hard parts yourself.
Write production code on the riskiest, highest-leverage paths; prototype the uncertain approach to turn an argument into evidence; build the reference implementation others extend.
Turn intangible trade-offs — partner API risk, team capability, long-term scalability, cost of change — into clear, written decisions (ADRs) that leadership and the technical committee can sign off on.
Define service and data contracts, integration patterns, and resilience strategies that survive third-party API deprecations and outages.
Go deep when it breaks: lead diagnosis on the gnarliest production incidents and performance regressions, and land the fix and the systemic follow-up.
Identify the infrastructure (compute, data, messaging, observability) needed to meet current and near-future goals.
Raise the bar through others:
mentor engineers and tech leads, set the standard in code review, and drive cross-functional decisions across engineering, product, security, and operations — through influence, not line management.
Evaluate third-party and vendor solutions against our integration and data requirements.
Monitor systems against performance and business benchmarks and escalate with concrete recommendations.
What We're Looking For:
Substantial experience as a staff/principal engineer (or equivalent) on
integration-heavy, data-heavy systems
— ideally where you didn't control the external APIs.
Still hands-on.
You lead by building, and you're demonstrably strong in production code, not only in design.
Depth in at least one of
PHP, Go, or Python
, and comfort across a polyglot estate (TS/JS on the front).
A track record of
modernising legacy systems incrementally
without halting delivery.
Fluency in integration and data patterns: idempotency, eventual consistency, rate limiting, queuing, backfills/reconciliation, API versioning.
A history of
driving technical decisions through influence rather than authority
— getting senior leadership and peer engineers to commit to a direction, and backing it with working code.
Nice To Have:
Experience with ad/martech platform APIs (Meta Marketing, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.).
Data warehouse / analytics pipeline experience (e.g. BigQuery).
Multi-region, multi-currency, or high-volume billing/reconciliation backgrounds.
Why Join Us?
Aleph is a place of many cultures, perspectives, and talents. We support each other, creating an environment of giving and receiving. We value partnership and communication because we believe it takes a group of people to achieve great things. We are energized by our ever-changing industry, our curiosity keeps us learning and seeking out new opportunities.

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote opportunity and we are looking for candidates from the U.S. or Canada. Residents of Quebec are not eligible for this role.
At Grafana Labs, we build observability tools that help users understand, respond to, and improve their systems – regardless of scale, complexity, or tech stack. We recently started a skunkworks initiative with a mission to bring observability to the rest of the business. Our goal is to make Grafana the single best place where humans and AI agents understand and act on real-time data from across the enterprise. As part of this initiative, we are building an AI-native data intelligence system that gives agents reliable, governed access to enterprise context. This system helps agents retrieve the right data, metadata, definitions, lineage, quality signals, and institutional knowledge without every agent builder having to maintain their own brittle context files. The principle is simple: the context system retrieves, agents decide, and data teams maintain the intelligence.
The new team is a mix of seasoned Grafanistas and new hires. We operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, both as individuals and as a team. Engineers are empowered to make decisions, move quickly, and validate ideas early – while being supported by a deeply collaborative culture that values curiosity, feedback, and cross-functional partnership.
We’re looking for a Senior-level Backend Engineer to help build the first production services for this context layer management system. You will design and ship the core backend architecture that powers ingestion, context storage, retrieval APIs, and agent-facing integrations. This is an early-stage role on a high-autonomy team, so you should be comfortable working through ambiguity, making pragmatic architectural decisions, and building systems that can evolve from internal dogfooding to production-grade SaaS. As the team matures, there’s a broad opportunity to expand or redefine this role based on impact and initiative.
Key responsibilities:
Build the core backend services: Design, implement, test, and operate the first services for context ingestion, context indexing, retrieval orchestration, API access, source configuration, and system administration.
Create a scalable SaaS foundation: Help define and build the architecture for a multi-tenant service, including tenant isolation, usage tracking, quotas, audit logs, background jobs, and reliable service boundaries.
Power agent-facing retrieval workflows: Build APIs and service interfaces that allow AI agents, MCP tools, CLIs, and internal applications to retrieve relevant context, provenance, confidence signals, and warnings.
Work across product and infrastructure: Partner with the team to make practical tradeoffs between fast experimentation and long-term reliability, especially as the project moves from prototype to production.
Operate what you build: Instrument services with metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards. Use observability tools to understand system behavior and improve reliability.
Contribute to technical direction: Help shape the architecture, service boundaries, storage choices, API contracts, deployment patterns, and engineering practices for a new product area.
Effective communication: You’ll be working in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment, so we need someone who can communicate effectively and contribute across teams.

At Offchain, we aren’t just building products: we’re leading a movement.
As pioneers in blockchain scalability and security, we're at the forefront of transforming how the world interacts with decentralized applications. We're laying the foundation that will define the next generation of digital commerce, governance, and human interaction. This involves tackling real-world challenges that come with scaling blockchain technology, without compromising on its core principles: decentralization, security and transparency.
At the center of this vision is our people. Our team is made up of thinkers and doers that embrace new challenges and seek solutions that push existing boundaries. If you’re energized by solving unprecedented problems, and believe in the role that decentralized systems will play in creating a more equitable digital future, then we want to hear from you.
Why Offchain?
Offchain is setting the pace for the entire Ethereum ecosystem. We built the Arbitrum stack that powers Arbitrum One, the most widely adopted Ethereum scaling solution that exists today.
Arbitrum’s ecosystem is undergoing tremendous growth with hundreds of projects and dApps on Arbitrum One today. Over 100 different teams have used Offchain technology to build their own Arbitrum chains. Major players in the space, Robinhood, BlackRock, Ethena Labs, Securitize, Aave, and Apechain are all using the Arbitrum stack.
Arbitrum’s thriving ecosystem wouldn’t exist without our advanced technology stack. Arbitrum, Prysm, ZeroDev. These aren’t just product names. These are tools that are actively reshaping what's possible on Ethereum and advancing its core infrastructure.
To top it all off? We’re backed by $124 million in funding. We’ve demonstrated consistent execution with billions in secured value, thousands of supported projects, and infrastructure processing millions of transactions seamlessly.
The Role:
The Developer Platform team builds KMS, the key-management and signing service behind ZeroDev's embedded, non-custodial wallets. These are smart-account / account-abstraction wallets that developers integrate directly into their applications. End users retain control of their keys, while KMS security orchestrates wallet creation, authentication and signing on top of a third-party signing provider.
You'll own production Go services and the cryptographic recovery and trust-model systems around them, working in a small, high-ownership team. This is security-critical infrastructure with a high review bar and external security audits. You should already be comfortable with applied-cryptography fundamentals such as public-key cryptography, signatures and key management. You don’t need to be a cryptographer or have prior experience with areas like MPC or TEEs, but you should be able to reason about cryptographic systems and their security implications.
As the platform evolves, you'll also help expand it beyond interactive consumer wallets toward programmatic and automated signing, and programmable transaction policies.
What you'll work on:
Backend services: build and operate Go services that power wallet creation, authentication, and signing at scale
Key recovery and the committee trust model: distributed key generation and secret sharing that keep the service non-custodial, with recovery authority split across independent committees so no single party holds a user's key
Trusted Execution Environments: reconstructing and operating on key material under hardware isolation and remote attestation
Authentication and signing-provider integration: the user-facing auth methods that gate signing (passkeys / WebAuthn, OAuth, OTP, sessions, 2FA), and integrating with a third-party signing provider (authorization and policy flows, scoped credentials, quorum / consensus approvals)
Security review and hardening: writing design docs and decision records, working directly with external security auditors, and turning a high review bar into shipped code
Production operations on Kubernetes: observability and alerting, secrets and certificate management, on-call, and the compliance controls the domain requires (sanctions screening, PII-safe handling)
Who you are:
Strong backend engineer who has shipped and operated production services in Go (or an adjacent systems language and is eager to go deep in Go)
Security-first by default: You naturally think about threat models, blast radius and key custody, and write code that holds up to security-critical review
Comfortable with applied-cryptography: You understand fundamentals such as public-key cryptography, signatures and key management, and can reason about how they apply to production systems.
You don't need to be a cryptographer!
Solid on distributed systems and API design: You’re comfortable reasoning about idempotency, failure modes and clean service boundaries
Operationally experienced: You’ve worked with production infrastructure and are comfortable with Kubernetes, observability and incident response
Clear written communicator: You can explain technical decisions through design docs and decision records, and work effectively in a collaborative, review-heavy environment.
Nice-to-have
You don't need to have worked with all of these. Experience in one or more would be valuable.
Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) such as AWS Nitro Enclaves, Intel SGX / TDX or similar
Threshold cryptography / MPC, including DKG, FROST or other threshold signatures, verifiable secret sharing or resharing
Account abstraction, including ERC-4337, EIP-7702, smart accounts or embedded / non-custodial wallets
Custody or signing infrastructure such as Turnkey or Fireblocks, either as an integrator or builder
HSMs, YubiKey / PIV or secure-element integrations
Third-party security audits and driving remediation through to completion
Authentication technologies such as WebAuthn / passkeys and OAuth / OIDC, or experience with the Go crypto ecosystem
Perks:
Remote-first global workforce + NY office
Professional reimbursement program (facilitates industry conference attendance, certifications, and more)
Medical, dental & vision coverage (US + some other countries)
401k retirement plan + company match (US only)
Wellness stipend
Home office set up / ergonomic equipment program
