Workplace: Remote
Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel, Financial Partnerships & Regulatory
Department: Legal
Reports to: Head of Legal
Location: APAC
About Codex
Codex is building the infrastructure for stablecoin-based cross-border payments — moving money faster, cheaper, and more transparently than the legacy financial system. Backed by Circle, Coinbase, Dragonfly, Wintermute, and Cumberland, we're a small team solving hard problems at the intersection of crypto and global payments.
The Role
Codex's product offering and financial partnership network is expanding rapidly — new payment providers, banking partners, and liquidity providers globally. The legal work that underpins those relationships needs to move at the same pace as the business. This role exists to make that happen.
You'll own the legal workstream for financial partnerships end-to-end — reviewing and negotiating FP contracts, managing due diligence requests, and advising on the regulatory implications of new products, corridors, and partner structures. You'll work closely with the Head of Legal and report into the legal function, with tight day-to-day collaboration with the Financial Partnerships, Product and Compliance teams.
This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who has done this work before and can operate with a high degree of autonomy.
Responsibilities
Financial Partnership Contracts
- Review, negotiate, and execute commercial agreements with financial partners — payment providers, banking counterparties, liquidity providers, and PSPs
- Own the contract lifecycle end-to-end: preparing markups, tracking open issues, coordinating with counterparties, and driving to execution without losing momentum
- Maintain and update standard form FP agreements as the regulatory and commercial environment evolves
- Advise the Financial Partnerships and Sales teams on commercial terms, entity routing, and deal structuring across multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction arrangements
Financial Partner RFIs & Due Diligence
- Manage inbound legal and regulatory due diligence requests from financial partners — collating documentation, preparing regulatory status summaries, and coordinating with Compliance on AML/CFT-related queries
- Prepare and maintain legal memos, licensing summaries, and corporate documentation packages for partners requiring clarity on Codex's regulatory status and entity structure
- Ensure Codex's outbound KYB documentation to financial partners is accurate, current, and responsive
Product Regulatory Analysis
- Analyse the regulatory implications of new products, payment corridors, and client segments before they go live — identifying licensing requirements, restrictions, and structural considerations across relevant jurisdictions
- Advise Product and Engineering on the legal constraints that affect feature design, entity routing, and market entry sequencing
- Monitor regulatory developments across key jurisdictions (APAC, LATAM, EMEA) and brief the legal and business teams on material changes
What We're Looking For
- Qualified lawyer with 10+ years of experience, ideally combining a first-tier law firm foundation with in-house experience at a fintech payments company
- Deep expertise in financial partnership contracts and payments regulation — this is a domain specialist role, not a generalist one
- Comfortable operating autonomously: you can pick up a complex contract, identify the issues, and drive it to execution without needing significant direction
- Commercially aware — you understand that legal is an enabler of the business, not a gate, and you give advice accordingly
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with the communication skills to translate complex legal positions into clear guidance for non-lawyers
- Based in APAC or a time zone that overlaps meaningfully with the team
Nice to Have
- Experience across multiple APAC and other regions and familiarity with the regulatory frameworks governing cross-border payments and digital assets in the region
- Exposure to stablecoin or digital asset regulation
- Prior experience as a solo or early legal hire at a fast-growing fintech

ABOUT AVOCA
Avoca is transforming how home service companies engage with their customers. Our AI-powered conversational agents handle every high-value inbound call, from booking jobs, qualifying leads, and driving higher revenue, all at a speed and consistency unmatched by human call centers.
We're a Series B startup backed by Kleiner Perkins, Meritech Capital, General Catalyst, and other top-tier investors, with $125M raised and a $1B valuation. We grew 10x in 2025 and have scaled to 170+ employees in under two years across our NYC headquarters and Santa Barbara office.
In a $1T+ market where 85% of missed calls go to competitors, we're building the category-defining platform for AI-driven customer engagement, serving the largest brands in home services. With high-energy, in-office teams in both locations, every hire here has an immediate and visible impact.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Partnerships Manager to grow one of Avoca's most important revenue engines. Partnerships put Avoca in front of thousands of home services operators at once, through the networks, platforms, and industry players they already know and trust.
You'll own a revenue goal and a portfolio of partner relationships across the home services ecosystem, from integration and technology partners to the manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors that sit upstream of every contractor. You'll take partnerships end to end: finding the opportunity, structuring the relationship, and turning it into repeatable pipeline and revenue. This is a small, fast-moving team, so you'll wear many hats and help build the playbook as much as run it.
You'll report directly to the Head of Partnerships and work closely with leadership on our highest-priority partner initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own a portfolio of partner relationships end to end, from first conversation to signed partnership to revenue, across technology partners, manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors
- Leverage Avoca’s network of investors, partners, and industry influencers to generate inbound interest and warm introductions.
- Structure partnerships that create real distribution: co-marketing, referral motions, preferred-vendor positioning, joint events, and go-to-market
- Turn relationships into measurable partner-sourced pipeline and ARR, and own those numbers
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure every partnership is effectively enabled and integrated into our existing GTM motions, not left to sit on paper
- Represent Avoca with partners and at industry events, with travel as needed, heavier during conference season
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Direct experience in the home services industry, you understand how this ecosystem works and who the players are
- Existing relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, or other key players in the space that you can activate quickly
- 6+ years in the industry or in partnerships, channel, or business development adjacent to it
- A track record of building and closing partnerships or commercial relationships, not just managing existing ones
- Strong commercial instinct and clear communication with both field operators and executives
- High agency: you build the playbook, you don't wait for one
- Bonus points: Experience with channel, co-marketing, or partner-sourced revenue motions and familiarity with the CRMs home services operators use (ServiceTitan, FieldRoutes, Housecall Pro, and others)
WHO YOU ARE
- You know the home services world well enough to bring a point of view and a network with you, not build both from scratch
- You're a relationship builder who's equally comfortable in the field and in a boardroom
- You think in systems: you can look at a fragmented landscape and quickly see where the leverage is
- You want to own a book of partnerships, carry a number, and shape what this function becomes
- You want to be in-office in NYC, surrounded by people who move fast and hold themselves to a high standard
BENEFITS
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Company-sponsored 401(k) through Vestwell
- Flexible PTO plus U.S. federal holidays
- Company-wide off-sites
- Monthly wellness stipend
- Daily in-office lunch through Parkday
- Dinner covered when working late
- Commuter benefits and late-night rideshare
- Standing desks and workspace accommodations available on request
- All core tools and software provided
Compensation: The expected base salary for this role is $160,000-$220,000, with final compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Avoca's total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, equity, and a comprehensive suite of benefits. Our Recruiting team will share full details as you progress through the process.
WHY AVOCA

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
THE ROLE:
We’re building a platform that covers the whole life of an LLM: training it, deploying it, and observing it in production. We already run multi-node training, elastic inference, sandboxes, and distributed volumes, and we control the infrastructure underneath. We’re looking for research depth in post-training to sit alongside our systems and product work.
We are looking for research scientists with a strong track record in reinforcement learning, machine learning, and foundation models, including large language and multimodal models, to join our research team.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Improve existing methods and develop new techniques for large-scale model training, optimization, and inference
- Extend models to long-context and long-horizon tasks
- Improve inference-time efficiency, reliability, and robustness in high-stakes real-world deployments
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have a PhD in computer science, machine learning, or a related field
- You have a demonstrated record of research accomplishments in reinforcement learning, machine learning, foundation models, or related fields
- You have experience with large-scale training and inference infrastructure, including distributed systems and multi-node GPU clusters
- You’ve developed, trained, optimized, or deployed state-of-the-art large-scale models
- You have first-author publications at leading venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CoRL, CVPR, UAI, JMLR, or TMLR
- You have a mission-driven mindset and a strong desire to translate research advances into meaningful product impact
- You have a collaborative spirit and can work effectively across research and engineering teams
Candidates with a master’s degree and significant research or industry experience will also be considered.

THE ROLE:
Most of the value of owning a model shows up at serving time. We’re building a platform that covers the whole life of an LLM (train it, deploy it, observe it), and inference is where teams feel the difference every day. We already run elastic inference, sandboxes, distributed volumes, and multi-node training, and we control the infrastructure underneath, so the serving stack is ours to shape rather than something we resell.
You will do hands-on inference research at Modal, working with the research lead to pick high-impact bets and owning them end to end. The bets that matter most are the ones that move cost per token and tail latency on the workloads our customers actually run.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Own end-to-end inference research bets: speculative decoding, disaggregated prefill/decode, quantization (FP8, INT4), KV-cache and memory management, autoscaling for spiky serverless traffic, and whatever else the research agenda calls for
- Train custom speculators against real production traffic and feed what you learn back into target models; acceptance length is the metric that decides the win
- Work directly with customers alongside our Forward Deployed Engineers to deploy and tune models, and bring what you learn back into the research
- Carry and expand collaborations with outside research labs, for example:
- our work with ZLab on DFlash https://modal.com/blog/spec-is-all-u-need, a speculator design built on KV injection and blockwise parallel drafting
- our work with SGLang on specdec https://modal.com/blog/host-overhead-inference-efficiency and multimodal inference https://modal.com/blog/boosting-multimodal-inference-performance-by-greater-than-10-with-a-single-python-dictionary performance
- our work on Flash Attention 4 kernels https://modal.com/blog/flash-attention-4-faster
- Work with engineering to turn frontier serving techniques into products: primitives for disaggregation, fast weight refresh for models that keep training after deployment, observability for quality and latency in production, or even a next-generation inference engine
- Help shape the research agenda
None of the above is prescriptive; your work will help guide our future.
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have a research-leaning or systems background in LLM inference, with work you can point to
- You’re fluent in the LLM serving stack, from kernels and quantization up to schedulers and autoscaling
- You have a record of shipping research or systems that other people build on, whether in a lab or in industry
- You have the drive to independently take a research bet from idea to result, working in the open with the rest of the team
- You’re able to work in person in our NYC or San Francisco office

About the Role
We are a Las Vegas based game studio born on the Roblox platform and built by people who genuinely love this community. As a community-first studio, we care as much about our worlds and players as we do about the people building them. That mindset has helped us grow into one of the most innovative teams on Roblox, pushing boundaries, shaping culture, and setting new standards across the platform. With over 8B game visits, 44M monthly players, and a 19M member community, our worlds have become a core part of the Roblox ecosystem. We’re a ten-time winner of the Roblox Innovation Awards and recognized as builders of the future of the platform. From Creatures of Sonaria and Dragon Adventures to World // Zero and Horse Life, we create experiences that players live in, not just visit.
What we are looking for
We're looking for a passionate, data-driven Product Manager to join our game teams. In this role, you'll own the product vision and roadmap for your game, partnering closely with Design, Engineering, Art, Marketing, and Commerce to ship features that delight players and drive long-term growth. You'll sit at the intersection of player experience, game design, and live-ops, working within the unique constraints and opportunities of the Roblox platform, where your players are vocal, your community is enormous, and your updates ship in weeks, not quarters.
Responsibilities:
— Own and drive the product roadmap for your game, from ideation through launch and post-launch iteration.
— Analyze game metrics and player behavior to identify opportunities, diagnose problems, and measure the impact of shipped features.
— Stay close to your game's community to understand what players love, what frustrates them, and what they're asking for next.
— Collaborate with creative leadership to plan seasonal content, events, and monetization updates that resonate with your players.
— Partner with design, engineering, and art teams to translate product vision into well-scoped, executable work.
— Define and prioritize features based on player feedback, data, and strategic goals
— Write clear product specs and briefs that give your team everything they need to build with confidence.
— Run sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to keep the team focused and unblocked.
— Communicate progress, risks, and learnings to stakeholders clearly and proactively.
— Foster a culture of focus, momentum, and fun across your team.
Requirements:
— 1–3 years of experience as a Product Manager or Producer in gaming.
— Strong analytical mindset. You are comfortable working with data to inform decisions and measure outcomes.
— Experience owning a product roadmap end-to-end, including prioritization, scoping, and shipping.
— Familiarity with Roblox Studio. You don't need to write Lua, but you should be able to open a place in Roblox Studio, navigate a game hierarchy, understand how assets and scripts are organized, and speak credibly with developers about scope and feasibility.
— Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can write a crisp spec and present a clear recommendation to leadership.
— Experience with live service products and the cadence of ongoing updates, events, and seasonal content.
— Collaborative by nature. You work well across disciplines and know how to build trust with creative and technical partners.
— Comfortable using tools like Notion, Google Suite, Discord, or similar for roadmap management and documentation.
Location:
This is a remote-first role open to candidates anywhere in the world. Las Vegas-based team members work in-office Tuesday through Friday (Monday optional). If Vegas sounds fun, we offer relocation support for candidates interested in moving here. In-office perks include daily DoorDash credits to keep you fed, commuter credits to cover your ride in, and a monthly game stipend because we think playing games is part of the job. We are actively building a UK talent hub in anticipation of a dedicated UK office. Candidates across the UK are warmly encouraged to apply.

We’re introducing Rust where correctness, performance, and reliability truly matter.
Narvar
is Growing! Narvar is a multi-language platform, and we’re intentional about where we apply Rust. We’re looking for senior engineers to help us
bring Rust into the backbone of the system
— the parts that must be fast, safe, and correct under real-world scale.
This role is for engineers who want agency: people who enjoy identifying the right problems, choosing the right tools, and owning systems end-to-end. You won’t be handed a narrow ticket queue. You’ll help decide
what
gets built and
how
it should be built.
For this role, you should be located in Canada and able to work within EST/EDT or PDT/PST hours. We are fully remote.
Day-to-day
Design and build
high-correctness Rust services
that sit on critical platform paths
Introduce Rust into areas where safety, determinism, and performance are essential
Own systems from
architecture → implementation → rollout → operations
Make real decisions around concurrency, async boundaries, data integrity, and failure modes
Work across service boundaries in a
polyglot environment
(Rust alongside other stacks)
Collaborate with product, design, and frontend engineers to build systems that are technically sound
and
product-aware
Improve reliability, observability, and system behavior through design, not just patching
Mentor other engineers and raise the bar on system quality and ownership
What We’re Looking For
We care more about
judgment and ownership
than credentials.
You’re likely a strong fit if you:
Have built and operated
distributed systems
in production
Have
deep hands-on Rust experience
(not just experiments or side projects)
Understand where Rust shines — and where it doesn’t
Are comfortable reasoning about
concurrency, async systems, and correctness guarantees
Have experience designing APIs and data contracts that evolve safely over time
Have worked with
relational and/or NoSQL databases
at scale
Have deployed and operated services in
AWS or GCP
(We are a GCP Shop though!)
Take initiative naturally and are comfortable operating with ambiguity
Communicate clearly and make tradeoffs explicit
Bonus Points
These aren’t hard requirements, but strong indicators:
You’ve worked in
startup or high-ownership environments
You’ve owned systems in production, including on-call responsibility
You’re comfortable moving across the stack when needed (backend-first, full-stack aware)
You’ve influenced architecture by earning trust, not by mandate
You use modern tooling (including AI-assisted workflows) to
increase leverage
, not outsource thinking
(Note: we care about outcome and judgment, not how flashy your tools are.)
Why Rust at Narvar?
Because some parts of the system deserve stronger guarantees.
We use Rust where:
Bugs are expensive
Latency and throughput matter
Safety and correctness are non-negotiable
You’ll help define
where Rust belongs
, not just write Rust in isolation.
Why Narvar (From an Engineer’s Perspective)?
Real scale, real customers, real impacts
Startup-level ownership with platform-level impact
Teams that value
thinking, judgment, and responsibility
Low ego, high trust, and room to do your best work
Why Narvar?
We're on a mission to simplify the everyday lives of consumers. Post-purchase is a critical phase of the customer journey. That's why we created Narvar - a platform focused on driving customer loyalty through seamless post-purchase experiences that allow retailers to retain, engage, and delight customers. - Prior experience re-writing, proofreading, and delivering feedback on code.
- Familiarity with code agents (OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex) or evaluating agent trajectories is a plus.
The Candidate Journey:
- Initial Screening: Our Talent Team will review your application.
- First Assessment: If selected to move forward, you’ll receive a multiple-choice assessment by email.
- Second Assessment: Candidates who achieve a passing score will be contacted by a member of our team to complete a more comprehensive assessment focused on their area of expertise.
- Video Screen: If selected to move forward, you’ll have a short video call with a member of our Operations Team.
- Final: Selected candidates will receive an Independent Contractor Agreement.
As an independent contractor, you maintain control over how you complete your work and may work with multiple clients simultaneously. We request that you declare any external work relationships with Cohere’s direct competitors and always maintain the IP confidentiality of the Cohere project. Independent contractors are not eligible for health benefits or other benefits provided to employees. Compensation for services is provided to contractors by self-invoicing for services provided pursuant to the terms of our agreement with the contractor.
It is important to understand that, as an independent contractor, continuous work is not guaranteed. The client-contractor relationship is fundamentally project-based, meaning engagements may be temporary, periodic, or intermittent based on our organizational needs and project availability. As an independent contractor, you should anticipate fluctuations in workflow and, therefore, compensation for services when Cohere does not require as many hours of services in a week.
Prospective candidates, please be advised: this role involves working with human-generated and model-generated tasks that may involve exposure to not safe for work (NSFW) text content as part of data annotation tasks, including explicit, offensive, or other inappropriate material.
If the above qualifications do not perfectly align with your experience, we still encourage you to apply!
We value and celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive work environment for all. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form, and we will work together to meet your needs.
