Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Role overview
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and evolve our new Common case-management system, which powers support-case handling across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
You will own significant end-to-end initiatives across our backend services: case lifecycle, routing and assignment, queue management, case evidence and history, and migration from legacy systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn ambiguous customer and operational problems into durable technical solutions, coordinate other engineers, and set the standard for reliability and craftsmanship on the team.
What you’ll do
Lead one or more project-level Case Management initiatives, on your own or by guiding a group of engineers, from discovery and design through rollout, measurement, and operational ownership.
Design and build scalable backend services and APIs for case creation, routing, assignment, transfers, audit history, notes, attachments, and queue-management workflows.
Help deliver feature parity with legacy platforms while safely migrating traffic across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
Make and own most technical decisions within your scope. Write project-level design documents covering how sub-features interact, identify dependencies and risks, and break work into parallelizable delivery plans.
Scope ambiguous customer and operational problems, weigh long-term against short-term trade-offs, and design durable solutions.
Partner with Product, Operations, Support, Data, and other engineering teams to define the right problems. Shape the team roadmap through prototypes, data analysis, project proposals, and backlog prioritization.
Run the coordination a project needs, such as status updates and dependency tracking, and escalate early to keep delivery on time.
Enforce team-wide quality objectives: lead design reviews, calibrate quality metrics, and improve logging, monitoring, alerting, and escalation policies.
Serve as first responder or incident commander, model good incident practice, and turn what you learn into playbooks and backlog work.
Introduce and guide AI best practices for the team, including evals, data privacy, and review of AI-generated code, and take part in AI-powered projects when they are central to the product.
Design reusable, self-serviceable solutions, and consider cost efficiency, including compute and AI costs, in key designs.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, design guidance, tech talks, and constructive feedback. Interview candidates, join sell calls, and take part in hiring events when the team needs them.
Must-have qualifications
Strong backend engineering experience, including designing and operating backend services, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and data models at meaningful scale.
Proficiency in at least one modern backend language, and a record of writing exemplary code for the core functionality of key components.
Demonstrated ownership of complex, customer-facing or operations-critical projects from technical design through production rollout.
Experience breaking projects into parallelizable work, identifying dependencies and risks, and giving accurate estimates for yourself and others.
Hands-on experience using AI development tools to improve productivity, while validating generated output for correctness, security, privacy, maintainability, and reliability.
Strong product judgment: the ability to turn ambiguous workflows and user needs into simple, maintainable technical solutions.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions, bring the right stakeholders into decisions at the right time, and explain trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong engineering craft: testing, code review, observability, incident response, security, and operational readiness, with experience designing for reliability.
Comfort working on systems with high correctness and auditability requirements, including traceability of decisions and changes.
A mentoring mindset and a record of raising team-wide engineering standards.
Nice-to-have qualifications
Go experience.
Experience with migration from legacy systems, gradual rollouts, traffic shadowing, and feature-parity programs.
Experience supporting internal tools or operational user interfaces from the backend side.
Experience with high-volume, multi-region, or multi-tenant systems.
Experience as an incident commander or in running an on-call rotation.
Experience building AI-powered features, including evaluation of model output.
What success looks like
Delivers a major Case Management initiative with clear technical ownership, predictable execution, and measurable customer or business impact.
Improves the reliability, maintainability, and cost efficiency of the Common system while enabling safe migration from legacy case-management systems.
Helps move support traffic onto the Common system without reducing case-resolution quality.
Builds solutions that other engineers and operators can confidently reuse and operate.
Acts as a technical leader within the team: unblocks peers and partner teams, improves engineering decisions, influences the roadmap, and strengthens cross-functional execution.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp is hiring its first dedicated Physical Security Lead to build and run the program that protects our people, our leaders, our events, and our offices. Our footprint now spans a multi-floor New York headquarters, Ramp-managed offices, and a growing set of hubs across North America and Europe. Our leaders are increasingly visible on public stages.
You'll own three areas in roughly equal measure: executive protection, event security, and office security (access control, cameras, guards, and building security). Your job is to turn a set of strong vendors and partner teams into one measurable, risk-based program.
This is a high-ownership IC role on the Corporate Security team. It reports to the Director of IT & Corporate Security and is based at our NYC HQ. This is a physical security role; cybersecurity and information security are owned by other Ramp security teams. We aren't looking for a guard supervisor or a box-checker. We want someone who makes it safe for Ramp to move fast, host great events, and keep our leaders accessible.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and run Ramp's executive protection program:
- Protective risk assessments and residential security reviews.
- Domestic and international travel security.
- Advance work for high-visibility appearances.
- Selecting, standing up, and managing our executive protection provider.
- Turn threat intelligence into protective action. Partner with Detection & Response to move from online threat and exposure monitoring to threat assessments, personal-information exposure reduction, and clear escalation playbooks.
- Own security for internal and external events, from all-hands and offsites to conferences, customer events, and executive dinners:
- Risk-tiered intake and written security plans.
- Coordination with venues and vendors.
- On-site leadership for the highest-risk events.
- After-action reviews.
- Set Ramp's global physical security standards for access control, video surveillance, intercoms, visitor management, and alarm monitoring. Tier them for headquarters, Ramp-managed offices, and flexible or serviced hub spaces.
- Build security into every new office, move, and expansion:
- Write the security design requirements and review drawings.
- Manage integrators through installation and acceptance testing.
- Partner with IT on network and identity integration.
- Manage the guard program and security vendors end to end: scope, post orders, SLAs and KPIs, budget, and quarterly business reviews. Own the security relationship with landlords and building management.
- Lead emergency preparedness and physical incident response:
- Emergency notifications, evacuation and shelter-in-place plans, and drills.
- Liaison with local law enforcement.
- Workplace-violence prevention, in partnership with People and Legal.
- Run physical access governance with IT. Tie access to joiner/mover/leaver events, run regular access reviews, and keep audit-ready evidence for physical security controls.
- Measure and report program health to leadership. Use AI and automation to scale the program without scaling headcount.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 6+ years in corporate or physical security, including 3+ years owning a security program or major workstream at a multi-site company. Executing someone else's program doesn't count toward this.
- Hands-on depth in at least two of the three areas (executive protection, event security, physical security systems such as access control and cameras) and solid working knowledge of the third.
- Experience administering or deploying enterprise access control and video platforms (e.g., Avigilon Alta/Openpath, Verkada, Genetec, LenelS2), and partnering with IT on networking and SSO.
- A track record of managing security vendors (guard, protection, integrator, event staffing) through contracts, SLAs, budgets, and performance reviews.
- Strong risk judgment. You size controls to the actual threat, explain the tradeoffs, and lead with "here's how we do this safely" rather than "no."
- Excellent writing. You can produce a crisp SOP, an event security plan, and a one-page executive brief.
- Willingness to work from our NYC office 4 days a week, travel 10–15%, support occasional evening and weekend events, and serve as primary on-call for physical security incidents (with the Director as backup and guard and vendor partners as on-site first response).
- Real, day-to-day use of AI tools in your work.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- ASIS CPP or PSP; formal executive protection training; first aid or Stop the Bleed certification.
- Experience at a high-growth tech, fintech, or financial services company with a high-profile founder or CEO.
- Experience writing security design standards for office buildouts and reading architectural or low-voltage drawings.
- Familiarity with physical and environmental control requirements in SOC 2, PCI DSS, or FedRAMP.
- A government protective, law enforcement, or military background, combined with corporate program ownership.
- An established network of protection, event security, and integrator vendors in NYC, SF, and internationally.
FAIR WARNING
- This is a builder role. Parts of the program exist today (vendors, a responsibility matrix, some SOPs). You'll turn them into a system.
- You're an IC who directs vendors and partner teams, not a manager of a security staff. You'll need to influence Workplace, Events, IT, Executive Assistants, People, and Legal without formal authority.
- Security at Ramp enables the business. Events still happen, offices stay welcoming, and executives stay accessible. Your job is to make that safe.
- Evenings, weekends, and travel come with the territory, especially around major events.
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend

By directly embedding the technical expertise within the national programs, LEAP provides long-term, sustainable lifesaving support to empower host governments to lead and manage key aspects of their infectious disease portfolios and improve coordination between the U.S. Government and the host country.
About the Position
The Senior Health Systems Advisor will provide strategic and technical assistance to the Department of Health (DOH) in the development and implementation of the One Hospital Command as a regional patient navigation and referral system connecting primary care with appropriate diagnostic, hospital, and specialty services across public and private providers.
The Advisor will support DOH in developing a common operating model that can respond to regional differences in health facilities, geography, workforce, financing, and service capacity. The position will support both urgent and planned referrals and strengthen coordination across levels of care to help ensure that patients are appropriately accepted, referred, provided needed services, and linked back to the originating provider for continued care.
The Advisor will also support the application of strengthened referral and patient navigation systems to priority public health needs, including tuberculosis (TB), particularly where improved linkages between primary care, diagnostic services, treatment facilities, hospitals, and specialty services can strengthen continuity of care.
The Advisor will provide technical expertise to design the regional care and referral model, establish necessary operating processes and agreements, assess financing pathways, develop options for a professionally managed command center, identify opportunities to activate priority facility capacity, and support pilot implementation.
The Advisor will work closely with the designated DOH Hospital Cluster lead, Centers for Health Development (CHDs), DOH hospitals, Local Government Units (LGUs), PhilHealth, participating private providers, and other relevant stakeholders. The position will provide technical advice and implementation support. Final decisions on policy, financing, staffing, procurement, contracting, and facility operations shall remain with the appropriate authorized government and institutional officials.
The Advisor will support the DOH in carrying out life-saving humanitarian assistance (LHA) service delivery in full alignment with the new Presidential Executive Order (EO) directives.

Develop and assess options for the One Hospital Command operating model, including in-house, outsourced, and hybrid arrangements for appropriate command center and coordination functions.
Identify opportunities to activate priority facility and service capacity through targeted investments, shared services, private provider participation, management or service contracts, or public-private partnership options.
Support selection, preparation, implementation, and monitoring of pilot regions and patient referral pathways.

About the Position
The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHIC) is launching the Contributory Linked Incentive. The program rewards PhilHealth members who keep up their contributions with benefit top-ups and other added support. The idea is simple: paying in today protects you tomorrow.
The program's success depends on more than good design and strong administration. Members also need to understand it and trust it. They need to know why contributions matter, how PhilHealth uses the money, what benefits they can expect, and how the program protects their health over time. That includes access to tuberculosis (TB) screening, treatment, and continuity of care. Steady contributions also make the Philippines more resilient. When members keep paying in, the health financing system stays strong enough to fight TB and to detect, prevent, and respond to outbreaks, advancing global health security (GHS) goals.
PHIC therefore needs a Senior Strategic Communications Advisor to develop a coordinated communications strategy that should build understanding and support among PhilHealth members and the general public, employers and other contribution partners, hospitals and healthcare providers, including TB treatment facilities, civil society and community leaders. The Advisor will support PHIC in carrying out life-saving humanitarian assistance (LHA) service delivery in full alignment with the new Presidential Executive Order (EO) directives.
Responsibilities
Support PHIC in the development and implementation of an integrated Marketing and Communications Strategy and Plan for the Contributory Linked Incentive program.
Work with the information/communications department of the Agency and other relevant offices to monitor progress, ensure alignment of timelines, and flag technical, operational, or legal risks that need swift resolution among offices
Coordinate with the Department of Health, local government units, and TB and GHS partners to keep messaging consistent.
Specific Responsibilities
The following are the specific duties and responsibilities of the Advisor:
Conduct key informant interviews, analysis of available and forthcoming research findings, and supervision of subsequent research efforts.
Help develop an integrated Marketing Communications Strategy and Plan for the Contributory Linked Incentive program that includes a Stakeholders engagement approach and Social Media Strategy. The plan should incorporate messaging on public awareness and use of PhilHealth TB benefits, as well as public perceptions of health security risks and emergency preparedness.
Assist the Agency in the production and development of communication materials in appropriate languages (i.e. AVPs, TVCs, RCs, social media materials), including identification and coordination with third-party communications partners, whenever needed.
Perform other related tasks assigned by the PHIC's Office of the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Key Outputs
Marketing and Communications Strategy and Plans incorporating TB and GHS components
Stakeholder's Analysis and Engagement Plans, including TB and GHS stakeholders
Social Media Plan for PHICS and the Contributory Linked Incentive program, including TB and GHS content
Duration of Engagement
About 6 months

The Advisor will provide a detailed monthly report to the U.S. Department of State, submitted by the 5th day of the following month. Additionally, they will participate in bi-weekly calls with U.S. DOS staff. The format for reporting may be adjusted with concurrence from the DOS Grants Officer Representative
Qualifications
At least 10 years of relevant work experience, especially in communication strategy development and project management
Demonstrated experience in conceptualizing and running national communication campaigns in the Philippines
Relevant master's degree such as communications, public health, or a related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS
- Satellite Systems, Software Verification Team Lead
- Location: Valencia, Spain
- Department: Global Manufacturing Organisation
- Reports to: Maite Manager
- Employment type: Permanent
- Workplace model: Office
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required)
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Satellite Systems, Software Verification Team Lead to own the final verification of our satellites, the stage where an integrated spacecraft is proven to work.
Once a satellite has been integrated, your team takes over. You’ll lead satellite-level functional and end-to-end checkout, onboard software loading and validation, and RF testing in our anechoic chamber, with a team of 5 technicians across systems, software and RF.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll spend real time with your team at the satellite, troubleshooting, unblocking issues and improving how we test. ICEYE is scaling satellite production fast, so you’ll also build the processes, tools and KPIs that let verification keep pace without compromising quality.
We’re looking for a strong electronics engineer who is comfortable with software and enjoys leading people. Space experience is a plus, not a requirement. If you’ve led hands-on electronics testing in a demanding industry such as aerospace, defence, automotive or power electronics, we’ll help you learn the space-specific parts.
Who We Are
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.
ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system.
ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.
Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading Satellite Verification
- Own satellite-level verification after integration: functional and end-to-end system checkout
- Prove that all onboard systems (power, avionics, software, RF) perform reliably in full configuration
- Be hands-on: lead troubleshooting, isolate faults, unblock issues and keep momentum
Owning Software in Verification
- Own onboard software loading, validation and checkout during production verification
- Maintain and improve test scripts, test automation and software-supported verification flows
- Work with AIT Engineering on software-related issues, telling software faults apart from hardware faults
Overseeing RF Testing
- Make sure RF testing of the satellite in the anechoic chamber is planned, executed and reported to standard, working with the RF specialists in your team
- Keep RF test benches and chamber setups maintained, calibrated and compliant
Quality, Traceability & Compliance
- Plan, execute and report system-level functional tests and inspections
- Maintain configuration control, build discipline and full traceability
- Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace quality standards such as ECSS
- Identify key non-conformances, escalate critical issues and drive resolution of the most impactful ones, supporting root cause analysis led by AIT Engineering
Building Scalable, Repeatable Processes
- Develop work instructions, test procedures and checklists with AIT Engineering and Quality
- Turn unclear inputs into clear, usable processes and reduce tribal knowledge
- Increase throughput and reduce rework while protecting quality
Leading & Developing the Team
- Lead, coach and grow a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability and pride in the product
- Teach structured fault diagnosis and test best practices
Working Across Teams
- Be the bridge between verification and engineering (systems, software, RF, AIT)
- Collaborate with Quality, Planning, Supply Chain and the two other production teams (Integration/Mechanical & Thermal; Electronics)
- Prepare verification for higher volumes; define and track KPIs
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You don’t need to tick every box. If you have most of the must-haves and the role excites you, we’d like to hear from you.
Must-haves
- A degree in electronics, telecommunications or electrical engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Hands-on experience testing, validating or verifying complex electronic systems, at unit or system level
- Working software knowledge: scripting (ideally Python), loading and configuring software on hardware, version and configuration control
- Experience leading or coordinating a technical team in a hands-on environment
- Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings and test procedures
- Clear communication with engineers, technicians and stakeholders, in fluent English
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in space, aerospace, defence or another high-reliability industry
- RF test experience (spectrum or network analysers, signal generators, anechoic chambers)
- Familiarity with ECSS, NASA-STD or similar standards (such as DO-178C, ISO 26262 or EN 50128)
- Test automation frameworks (such as TestStand, LabVIEW or pytest)
- Experience scaling a test or production process
- Spanish [move to must-haves if Maite confirms it’s required]
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Every satellite is verified reliably, predictably, and to standard before it ships
- RF, system, and software verification processes are clear, structured, and scalable
- Problems are isolated and solved at the root, not patched
- The team takes full ownership of verification quality and traceability
- Verification keeps pace with ICEYE's growth
WHY THIS ROLE IS INTERESTING
- You own the moment of truth, proving the satellite works end-to-end
- You'll bring RF, systems, and software verification together under one scope
- You'll shape how verification is done, not just follow existing processes
- You'll work at the intersection of engineering and production, where decisions have immediate impact

OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.
