This is a senior individual contributor role. You will work independently on complex, ambiguous problems, influence decisions across People, Finance, Legal, and IT, and serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief People Officer and other senior leaders. You will not have direct reports, but you will guide and coach teammates and external partners through your expertise. Responsibilities: Own the benefits strategy and roadmap, covering medical, dental, vision, life and disability, FSA/HSA, 401(k), leave of absence, mental health and wellness, and global/international offerings, and recommend changes backed by data and market benchmarking. Lead the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment cycle: plan design analysis, funding and cost modeling, carrier negotiation, communications, system configuration, and post-enrollment audits. Manage broker, carrier, PEO/EOR, and third-party administrator relationships, holding vendors accountable to service levels, pricing, and employee experience standards. Administer and optimize benefits technology (HRIS, benefits administration platform, and carrier feeds), including integrations, data accuracy, and reconciliation of invoices and eligibility. Serve as the escalation point for complex employee benefits, leave, and accommodation cases, and coach People Operations teammates on resolution. Design and deliver clear, engaging benefits communications and education that help employees make informed choices. Evaluate benefits for new geographies and acquisitions, and support the integration of new employee populations. Build scalable processes, documentation, and metrics (participation, cost per employee, utilization, satisfaction) and report insights to People leadership. Stay current on regulatory changes, market trends, and emerging benefits solutions, and proactively bring recommendations to the team. Qualifications: 8+ years of progressive benefits experience, including significant ownership of renewals, open enrollment, and vendor management in a high-growth technology or similarly fast-paced environment. Deep working knowledge of US benefits regulations (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and state/local requirements) and of health plan funding models, including fully insured and self-funded arrangements. Demonstrated ability to analyze plan data, build cost models, and turn them into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders. Experience with benefits administration platforms and HRIS systems (for example, Workday, Rippling, or similar) and with managing carrier and eligibility integrations. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with a track record of improving cost, service, or employee outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex topics simply to employees and executives alike. Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight. High standards for accuracy, confidentiality, and sound judgment with sensitive employee information. Comfortable working with a highly distributed team across time zones. Location: India 9-Month Contract Position About the Job: We're looking for a Regional Growth Marketing Manager to drive pipeline growth through digital campaigns and paid channels, in close collaboration with global marketing and regional Sales. This is a senior, individual-contributor position for someone who knows how great regional digital marketing programs are built in B2B SaaS. The role spans tactics through hands-on execution, shaping and building the growth approach for EMEA and APJ rather than running a standard playbook. You'll join a growing international marketing team in an essential role, reporting to the Director, International Marketing. You'll take ownership of the regional digital strategy and execution in close collaboration with the global Marketing teams. Responsibilities: Drive regional new-logo pipeline growth through digital and paid channels in EMEA and APJ. Partner with the global team on paid and digital campaign execution (SEM, paid social, and paid ABM), helping set regional strategy from planning through execution, optimisation and reporting. Drive the digital ABM motion for the region, turning Sales input into actual targeted, paid campaigns. Adapt global campaigns for regional messaging, rather than deploying generic global assets. Build and own region-native digital content, platform launches, and offerings, doubling down on successful programmes. Surface and mitigate region-specific risks, helping ensure efficient media spend. Own digital pipeline reporting and ROI for the regions, tracking leads, conversion, and spend against campaigns, and reporting results back to leadership. Partner closely with EMEA and APJ Sales and SDR teams to align digital campaigns with account priorities and pipeline targets. Operate independently: define approach, channel mix, regional tools or platforms, and budget requests in line with regional Sales needs and the wider marketing strategy. Qualifications: 8+ years' experience in a digital/growth marketing role with a focus on ABM, paid digital, and demand generation for B2B SaaS in EMEA and APJ. Track record owning digital pipeline growth end-to-end: strategy, execution, budget, and reporting, with close interaction with Sales. Direct experience running paid social, SEM, and ABM programmes in regions, with clear attribution back to pipeline and revenue. Hands-on experience with a CRM (Salesforce or similar), a marketing automation platform (Marketo, HubSpot, or similar), and ABM/paid tools (6sense, Demandbase, or similar). Experience adapting global campaigns for regional markets: localisation, messaging adaptation, regional content, as well as creating their own regional campaigns. Experience working across EMEA and APJ; an additional language is a plus. Cultural awareness and sensitivity operating across international markets. Confident self-starter and communicator with a positive, hands-on and can-do attitude; comfortable operating independently and driving outcomes autonomously. How we’re using AI today Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US. What we're looking for: • Experience in developer marketing, technical social media, community growth, or developer relations. • A track record of growing a developer or technical audience, with a clear understanding of your contribution and results. • Strong writing skills and the ability to turn technical ideas into clear, engaging content. • Technical fluency, including the ability to follow developer documentation, try tools or integrations, and collaborate comfortably with engineers. • Experience coordinating creator partnerships or marketing campaigns involving multiple contributors, deadlines, and deliverables. • Preferred: Experience marketing developer tools, security products, infrastructure, or artificial intelligence (AI) tools; an existing network of developer creators and community builders; or experience with employee advocacy, paid social experiments, or campaign attribution. What you can expect: • Grow 1Password’s developer audience through campaigns and ongoing engagement across X, Reddit, and other relevant channels. • Create posts, threads, and short-form content about developer workflows, product capabilities, security, and AI agents, partnering with engineers and developer advocates to ensure accuracy. • Identify and build relationships with technical creators, coordinate campaign briefs and deliverables, manage approved budgets, and track performance. • Support product launches with creator partnerships and social content that help developers understand new capabilities and get started. • Build an employee ambassador program that helps engineers share technical insights, projects, and lessons learned in their own voices. • Participate in developer communities by contributing useful answers, identifying relevant conversations, and bringing developer feedback back to the team. • Amplify developer events, experiment with new formats and messaging, and use engagement, qualified traffic, and attributable signups to improve the program and connect campaigns to product adoption. USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $133,000 USD and $186,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $125,000 CAD and $175,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set. This posting is for an existing vacancy. Our culture At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first. You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results. How we work with AI We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password. This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others. Our approach to remote work We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future. As Senior Manager, Business Development, you’ll lead a North American Business Development Representative (BDR) team within Sales, balancing inbound lead qualification with proactive outbound prospecting. Reporting to the Director, Business Development, this role is based onsite in Austin, Texas, with occasional travel. How we’re using AI today Across GTM, we’re transforming the way we work with AI. We expect every seller, CSM, and team member to become a power user, using it daily to work smarter and move faster. AI is already embedded in how we operate – from real-time coaching that sharpens how we sell and interact with customers, to surfacing insights that help us anticipate needs – creating more time for meaningful customer engagement. If you’re excited to reshape how you think, make decisions, and drive growth with AI, you’ll feel right at home here. Expectations of this role This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to work from 1Password's Austin office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work from the office up to 5 days based on business needs. Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto. What we're looking for: • Significant experience in business development or sales, including at least two years managing Business Development Representative (BDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams and delivering measurable performance and talent-development outcomes. • A track record of leading both inbound and outbound motions, with particular strength in designing and improving outbound campaigns, pipeline generation, lead qualification, and forecasting. • Experience coaching teams through ambiguity, adapting priorities as needs change, and contributing directly to team performance when hands-on support is needed. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust, provide clear feedback, and work effectively with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Enablement, and Channel partners. • Working proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, along with the ability to evaluate Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled tools and workflows thoughtfully. • A practical, team-first leadership approach that prioritizes shared outcomes, collaboration, and accountability. What you can expect: • Lead, coach, and develop BDRs across inbound and outbound activities, helping the team consistently build qualified pipeline. • Inspect activity, conversion, pipeline, and forecast signals to identify opportunities, remove barriers, and improve performance. • Design and scale outbound campaigns while improving lead routing, outreach, follow-up, qualification, and handoff processes. • Build a strong talent pipeline by identifying development opportunities and preparing BDRs for future roles across Sales. • Serve as a senior, visible leader in the Austin office by encouraging collaboration, supporting team connection, and helping address shared office needs. • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Enablement, and Channel teams to improve messaging, processes, and Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) insights. • Use sales technology and AI-enabled workflows to improve productivity, strengthen decision-making, and help the team adapt as the business evolves. This role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
