— Исследовать рынок, клиентов и конкурентов: глубже разбираться в сложной B2B-аудитории, её задачах и потребностях;
— Погружаться в практики и их продуктовый портфель и вместе с лидерами этих практик превращать экспертизу и продуктовые гипотезы в понятные рынку предложения: определять целевую аудиторию, ценностное предложение, продуктовое позиционирование, оффер, ключевые сообщения и доказательную базу;
— Разрабатывать GTM-гипотезы для приоритетных продуктов и направлений — целевые сегменты, офферы, каналы, точки контакта с аудиторией;
— Запускать маркетинговые эксперименты: от формулировки гипотезы и подготовки необходимых материалов до оценки результата и следующей итерации;
— Собирать и развивать маркетинговую воронку вокруг продукта: определять точки входа, ключевые метрики и связь маркетинговых активностей с коммерческим результатом;
— Определять набор маркетинговых и sales-материалов, необходимых для GTM продукта, и собирать их вместе с контентом, дизайном и внешними партнёрами; при необходимости самостоятельно делать первые прототипы и драфты;
— Работать в тесной связке с Client Success / продажами: анализировать качество входящего спроса, конверсию и причины отказов, сигналы из действующих аккаунтов, возможности для cross-sell/расширения и использовать обратную связь рынка для улучшения продукта, оффера и GTM;
— Работать на стыке маркетинга, продаж и руководителей практик: синхронизировать команды вокруг продукта, помогать формировать единое понимание его ценности;
— Опыт в продуктовом или B2B-маркетинге от 3 лет, включая самостоятельное ведение полного GTM-цикла для нескольких продуктов или направлений одновременно;
— Опыт работы со сложными экспертными продуктами или услугами и зрелой B2B-аудиторией — C-level и топ-менеджментом; опыт работы с HRD, L&D и другими функциональными ЛПР будет плюсом;
— Опыт customer и market research: сегментация аудитории, определение ICP, изучение потребностей и сценариев использования, анализ конкурентов, поиск новых сегментов;
— Практический опыт в разработке позиционирования, value proposition, офферов и упаковке сложных продуктов и услуг;
— Опыт разработки и тестирования GTM-подходов и гипотез: выбор целевых сегментов, каналов и точек контакта с аудиторией;
— Системное и аналитическое мышление: понимание логики воронки от точки входа до коммерческого результата, умение определять метрики, тестировать гипотезы и делать выводы на основе данных;
— Сильное бизнес-мышление: способность быстро разбираться в незнакомой предметной области и сложном бизнес-контексте;
— Высокая автономность. Директор по маркетингу определяет стратегические приоритеты и общую рамку бренда и коммуникаций. Product Marketing Manager самостоятельно владеет продуктовым уровнем GTM: исследует рынок, проблематизирует продукт вместе с лидером практики, формирует и проверяет go-to-market гипотезы и отвечает за связь маркетинга с коммерческим результатом;
— Влияние на процесс. Можно не просто выполнять задачи, а выстраивать маркетинговые процессы и систему работы;
— Партнерство с бизнесом. Работаете на стыке маркетинга, продаж и лидеров практик, напрямую влияя на то, как выглядит продукт и какой коммерческий результат он приносит;
— Пространство для инициативы. Можно предлагать гипотезы для новых продуктов и офферов, проверять их через реальные запуски и достраивать систему там, где ее еще нет;

(Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Analytics).

MEET THE TEAM 👥
Here at Cleo we have team of ~135 member in our Borrow Pillar and ~8 dedicated to Credit Policy and Analytics. This function brings together several specialisms, all working toward managing portfolio performance; designing the systems, models, and controls that make lending sustainable. They drive to build and grow a portfolio of responsible EWA & Pay Later products that can scale across markets while protecting users from high cost debt trap.
ABOUT THE ROLE ✍️
We're hiring a Head of Data Science to lead credit performance measurement and monitoring within our Risk & Payments pillar. This is a player-coach role: you'll manage a team of Credit Data Scientists and Analysts, splitting your time between hands-on analysis and leading the team - setting direction, developing people, and owning the function's output.
You'll own the frameworks and metrics that keep our credit products healthy, and drive the deep-dive analyses that explain performance shifts and turn them into action. Key areas of impact:
- Own credit performance measurement - design and maintain Cleo's risk metric framework (arrears, default, yield, LTV, marginal loss), and the dashboards/alerts that catch arrears spikes, roll-rate shifts, and decisioning anomalies early.
- Bridge model health and business decisions - partner with Risk Modelling to translate model metrics (AUC, PSI, calibration, drift) into policy and product recommendations, and diagnose whether performance moves are model-driven, macro, or operational.
- Lead root-cause analysis - own investigations end-to-end (question → analysis → recommendation) on issues like arrears spikes or yield compression, using driver analysis (SHAP, feature importance, decomposition), and present findings to Risk, Product, and Leadership.
- Support policy and decisioning - work with Credit Policy and Decision Science to build evaluation frameworks for policy changes, quantify their marginal impact, and support elasticity/profitability modelling on pricing and limits.
- Manage and develop a team - directly manage Credit Data Scientists and Analysts: set priorities, manage performance, and grow the team, not just direct project work.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🕵️
- Strong SQL and Python skills, comfortable working directly from the warehouse
- Track record owning analyses end-to-end - from framing the question to shipping a recommended change
- Hands-on experience with predictive models (credit, fraud, or similar), fluent in AUC/Gini, calibration, PSI/CSI, and drift
- Fluency in credit portfolio metrics (arrears buckets, roll rates, loss rate, yield/marginal loss) and how they tie to unit economics
- Experience directly managing analysts or data scientists - priorities, performance, and people development
- Nice to have: experience with short-term or revolving credit products
- Nice to have: experience with both UK and US regulatory frameworks

An overview of this role
As a Senior Backend Engineer with the
Database Excellence group
, you'll build and evolve the data frameworks and tooling that keep GitLab's application datastores scalable, healthy, and safe across both GitLab.com and thousands of self-managed instances. A primary focus for this role is building proactive data growth controls for GitLab.com, including retention and lifecycle management frameworks, enforcement of retention policies at schema-change time, and tooling that keeps database growth sustainable as AI-driven development accelerates how quickly data accumulates. You'll help teams across GitLab reason confidently about data architecture, placement, and lifecycle management, while proactively identifying saturation points in our GitLab.com infrastructure and driving corrective actions with partner teams. With the team's recent move into the Data Engineering organization, you'll also shape new scalability and data health features for self-managed customers, working hands-on with PostgreSQL and Ruby on Rails in a fully remote, highly collaborative environment.
Some examples of our projects:
Data Growth Controls (retention enforcement and data lifecycle management)
SQL Traffic Replay Tooling
Background Operations Framework
What you'll do
Develop and iterate backend features and data frameworks that make it safe and efficient for GitLab teams to work with data at scale across SaaS and self-managed deployments.
Design and build data retention and lifecycle management frameworks, including retention policy enforcement, bulk data removal tooling, and automated identification of tables that need retention policies.
Build shift-left guardrails, such as static analysis checks and schema-change-time enforcement, that catch unsustainable data growth patterns before they reach production.
Collaborate closely with product management, UX, frontend, infrastructure, software delivery, and analytics teams to design and ship high-performing solutions
Review and improve database-related changes from other engineers and community contributors, ensuring data integrity, safety, and performance across all deployment scenarios.
Design, build, and maintain tooling such as SQL traffic replay and background operations frameworks to proactively surface and address scalability and performance issues.
Research, design, and implement improvements to data retention and lifecycle management, database performance, scalability, and data health, including areas like soft delete strategies and database migration testing.
Document database best practices, patterns to avoid, and data architecture guidance to enable developers to make informed decisions.
Develop proactive tooling and guardrails that help developers detect and remediate potential performance and data issues early in the development lifecycle.
What you'll bring
Professional software engineering experience working with PostgreSQL in large, complex production environments, including high availability solutions with automatic failover and zero-downtime data migrations as well as managing large or fast-growing datasets through approaches such as data retention, archiving, partitioning, or lifecycle management.
Proficiency with Ruby on Rails or another Ruby framework, including designing, implementing, and reviewing backend features.
Ability to reason about software design, algorithms, and performance trade-offs at a system level.
Strong written communication skills and comfort working asynchronously in an all-remote, distributed team.
Self-directed work style with effective organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities as a "manager of one".
Alignment with GitLab's values, including transparency, collaboration, inclusion, and contribution to open source.
Openness to learning and applying new tools and approaches, including transferable experience from related data, infrastructure, or developer tooling domains.
Willingness to participate in our
tier 2 dabase on-call rotation
in your time zone.
The
Database Excellence Group
is a remote, agile backend team that builds and maintains the frameworks, patterns, and tooling that enable GitLab teams to work confidently with data at scale across all application datastores. As part of the broader Data Engineering organization, we focus on data scalability, health, and developer enablement for both GitLab.com and thousands of self-managed deployments, collaborating closely with infrastructure, software delivery, and analytics stages to ensure data changes are safe, performant, and compatible across diverse environments. We are independent, self-organized contributors, and we collaborate asynchronously across regions. We are currently expanding our mission from proactively identifying and addressing saturation points in GitLab.com infrastructure to also delivering scalability features and data health initiatives to self-managed customers.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Build operating rhythms, reviews, and forums that keep the Pro org aligned and focused on priorities.
- Lead and deliver cross-functional projects that don’t fit neatly into a single team but are critical to Pro’s success.
- Support leadership in decision-making by framing issues, tracking KPIs, and surfacing gaps or risks early.
- Maintain systems for reporting, business reviews, roadmap coordination, and cross-team initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to scope and stand up new initiatives in Spot, Margin, Derivatives, or Infrastructure — from early concept through initial execution.
- Contribute to high-impact materials (exec updates, all-hands, strategic memos) that provide clarity and visibility.
- Act as the first line of intake for inbound requests, triage them effectively, and ensure accountability for follow-through.
- Identify bottlenecks in how we operate and propose improvements that help the team scale more efficiently.
- Use business intelligence and data to support PMs and leadership across Pro, cutting through competing priorities and surface the best opportunities.
- Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to find ways to improve product experience.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5–7 years in BizOps, Product Ops, Strategy, Consulting, or similar high-leverage roles with measurable impact.
- Strong project management skills — you can bring structure to ambiguity and drive initiatives from 0 → 1.
- Comfortable with data: you can interpret dashboards, KPIs, and financial/operational metrics to drive insight.
- Excellent communicator who can adapt across audiences — from execs to cross-functional ICs.
- Highly organized, detail-driven, and biased toward follow-through and execution.
- Self-starter who doesn’t wait for instructions — you create the roadmap when one doesn’t exist.
- Experience collaborating across product, engineering, compliance, legal, finance, and marketing.
- Belief in Kraken’s mission to accelerate financial freedom and inclusion through crypto.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
