Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation and growth drive everything we do. Our Product team defines how millions of people experience Deliveroo, turning complex marketplace challenges into simple, high-impact solutions. Working at the intersection of data, design and engineering, we set direction, prioritise what matters most, and deliver outcomes that move the business forward.
We’re looking for a
Staff Product Designer (Motion)
to join our
Studio Central
team London team. In this role, you’ll lead the shift toward build-first motion design, establishing principles and systems that elevate craft and expression across our global product surfaces.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Studio Central team. Studio Central is a net-new global Product Design team sitting at the intersection of product, brand, and innovation, supporting Deliveroo, DoorDash, Wolt, and 7Rooms. We own how brand shows up in the product experience, partnering closely with Marketing and Product teams to shape cohesive, high-quality work and define the future state of design across our portfolio.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Strategy, Systems & Influence
Define the point of view and motion principles for how branded moments behave across products, elevating customer, rider, and merchant experiences.
Build reusable motion systems, expression frameworks, animated component libraries, and AI-assisted tooling to empower designers across all brands to ship high-quality motion independently.
Establish motion as a core discipline within Studio Central, creating the rituals, crits, and guidelines required to scale the capability past a single person.
Partner with Product Design teams across Consumer, Ads & Promo, Rider, Merchant, and New Verticals, using working prototypes rather than slide decks to advocate for in-product motion.
Execution & Delivery
Lead key brand moments from concept to execution, partnering with visual designers to take early directions through to production-ready, code-shippable motion (Lottie/dotLottie, CSS/JS animation, native transitions).
Navigate undefined, ambiguous spaces to establish design standards and processes across in-house teams, agencies, and cross-functional partners in Engineering and Marketing.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Proven experience in motion and visual craft at a systems level, with a track record of scaling frameworks or guidelines across multiple surfaces, products, or teams.
Demonstrated ability to move fluidly between art direction and execution, prototyping in tools like After Effects, Lottie, or Rive and delivering production-ready motion in code.
Strong capability to navigate ambiguous, complex environments and create clarity through shipped prototypes and hands-on work rather than presentations.
Demonstrated experience building structures from scratch, taking initiative to propose frameworks, guidelines, and operating models.
Proactive mindset toward emerging technology, treating new tools and techniques as experiments to iterate on and ship quickly.
Why Join Us?

Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Senior Software Engineer, GenAI Platform
About the Team
Deliveroo's GenAI Platform team sits within Machine Learning Platform and builds the shared infrastructure that helps DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo teams safely bring GenAI-powered products, agents, automation, and personalisation to production. Our mission is to increase the velocity of business impact from GenAI. A central pillar of that work is running frontier open-weight LLMs and VLMs (such as GLM, Qwen, Kimi, and DeepSeek) ourselves — real-time GPU serving, high-throughput batch inference, and fine-tuning on autoscaling GPUs — delivering large cost and latency wins (for example, a billion embeddings produced roughly 20× cheaper and visual models served roughly 72% cheaper). We also own core platform surfaces including the LLM Gateway, Agent Gateway, evals infrastructure, guardrails, and cost attribution.
About the Role
You will join a small, high-leverage team building production infrastructure for Generative AI at Deliveroo and DoorDash, leading the design and architecture of our open-weights model platform spanning inference and fine-tuning: real-time GPU serving, high-throughput batch inference, and model fine-tuning. You’ll set technical direction across model serving and inference engines, fine-tuning and training pipelines, GPU autoscaling and utilization, batch pipelines, backend services, and observability, and mentor engineers as you go. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys owning ambiguous, high-impact systems and pushing the cost/performance frontier of GPU inference and fine-tuning in a fast-moving technical area where product needs, model capabilities, vendor ecosystems, and cost/performance tradeoffs are evolving quickly.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
Lead the design of infrastructure that helps teams move GenAI ideas from prototype to production, increasing the velocity of business impact from AI across the company.
Own and evolve our open-weights serving stack — real-time GPU endpoints, high-throughput batch inference, and fine-tuning (SFT/DPO/LoRA) — alongside the LLM Gateway, Agent Gateway, evals infrastructure, guardrails, and cost attribution.
Architect scalable, high-performance systems for model serving, batch inference, GPU autoscaling, and fine-tuning that power real customer and internal automation use cases
Push the cost and latency frontier of GPU inference — turning batch jobs that took days into hours and cutting inference cost by multiples — while giving product teams a clean choice across open-weight and closed-source models with reliability, fallback, observability, and cost controls built in.
Build platforms that support rapid experimentation while meeting production standards for latency, scale, monitoring, SLOs, playbooks, and operational excellence.
Partner closely with — and raise the technical bar for — ML engineers, product engineers, data scientists, and platform teams across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo to turn emerging GenAI capabilities into durable platform primitives.
Set technical direction for the future of the company's centralised GenAI platform — including emerging directions such as reinforcement learning (RLHF/RLVR), agent optimisation, and other post-training and agentic techniques — enabling the next generation of AI-powered products, agents, automation, and personalisation.
We’re excited about you because…
BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years of industry experience in software engineering
Deep backend engineering fundamentals, especially in Python and distributed systems.
Track record of designing and owning production services, APIs, data pipelines, or ML infrastructure at scale.
Experience operating systems in production, including observability, debugging, reliability, incident response, and performance/cost optimization.
Deep hands-on experience with LLM inference and/or fine-tuning of open-weight models in production — serving (latency, throughput, batching, autoscaling, GPU utilization) and/or fine-tuning (SFT/DPO/LoRA).
Demonstrated technical leadership: leading design across ambiguous, fast-moving technical areas, mentoring engineers, and turning customer use cases into reusable platform capabilities
Proficiency in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, generating code, testing, monitoring and releasing software
Nice To Haves
Experience with LLM inference engines and serving frameworks (e.g., vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM) in production
Experience with distributed/multi-node fine-tuning and training pipelines (SFT, DPO/RLHF, LoRA), including data preparation and evaluation
GPU performance work — multi-node/distributed inference, KV-cache/memory optimisation, quantisation (FP8/INT8/AWQ/GPTQ), or cold-start/throughput tuning
Experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), GPUs, serverless/elastic GPU platforms (e.g., Modal), or high-throughput batch systems
Experience with LLM gateways, model routing, vendor abstraction, or cost attribution
Experience building developer platforms, internal platforms, or self-serve infrastructure
Experience building and deploying AI agents or MCP servers in production
Experience with eval systems, LLM observability, tracing, RAG, search, or vector databases

Our Security and IT team keeps the 360Learning platform secure, compliant and auditable for the 1,500 organisations that learn on it every day. As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, your mission is to make our infrastructure secure by design, detectable by default, and provable at audit time.
360Learning runs its learning platform on Azure and Kubernetes, certified ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II. Over the past two years the technical security workload has grown on every front: a larger and more regulated customer base sending their own scans and security assessments, a wider detection and response scope, more infrastructure to keep hardened and auditable, and a growing backlog of security engineering projects that never reach the top of the queue.
We are creating this position to add real technical capacity on the infrastructure side of security, and to move part of our security posture from manual effort to automated guardrails. You will be the bridge between security and platform engineering: deep enough in infrastructure to fix things yourself, and close enough to security operations to know what to look for.
“Ours is a small, senior team with a broad scope: information security, compliance, infrastructure governance and internal tooling, with dual audit accountability on ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II. That means direct impact and no layers between you and the decision. Roughly half of this role is greenfield build work you will own end to end.” Guillaume Seigneuret, CISO and Hiring Coach.
Within 1 month, you will:
Complete our onboarding and learn how we work through our own platform and our Convexity culture
Map our Azure and AKS environment, our detection and logging coverage, and our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 control scope with the CISO and the Security Engineer
Meet the DevOps, platform engineering and IT teams you will work with daily
Shadow alert triage and one customer security assessment end to end
Within 3 months, you will:
Be autonomous on our AKS and Azure environment and handle infrastructure related alerts end to end
Have shipped at least one concrete hardening or automation improvement in production
Own the infrastructure scope of vulnerability management, from triage to remediation follow up
Within 6 months, you will:
Have the honeypot live and producing high fidelity alerts
Have measurably widened SIEM connector coverage, with documented log sources and retention
Run infrastructure vulnerability remediation on a predictable cycle with SLA reporting
Within 12 months, you will:
Manage detection content as code, with reviewed and tested rules and documented runbooks
Have largely automated audit evidence on the infrastructure scope
Have eliminated long lived credentials on the critical paths, so engineering teams ship on secure defaults they did not have to think about
The Skill Set:
5+ years in infrastructure, cloud or platform engineering with a strong security focus, or in security engineering with hands on infrastructure practice
Production experience with Kubernetes: RBAC, network policies, admission controllers, secrets handling, workload identity, runtime security
Solid cloud experience, ideally Azure. Strong AWS or Google Cloud experience with a genuine interest in converting works too
Infrastructure as code: Terraform, GitOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines
Scripting and automation: Python or Go, plus shell. Comfortable reading and writing code, and opening pull requests on repositories owned by other teams
Log analysis and investigation: cloud audit logs, query languages, correlation across identity, network and application sources
Fluent English (US/UK) / B2 level or equivalent (FR).

An overview of this role
At GitLab, our mission is simple: to enable everyone to contribute to and co-create the software that powers our world.
As a Senior Backend Engineer on
Tenant Controls
, you'll design, implement, and evolve backend capabilities for a global platform that millions use. You'll solve problems of high scope and complexity, influence technical and product direction, and improve system quality, reliability, and performance beyond assigned feature work. Working across product, frontend, infrastructure, data, and security, you'll make pragmatic architectural trade-offs and partner with product managers and designers to deliver value to users in a remote-first, asynchronous environment.
What you’ll do
Design and ship moderate to complex backend features with minimal guidance, choosing between modular-monolith code, shared components, and independently operated services.
Influence team objectives, technical direction, and long-range goals, partnering with product managers and designers to shape requirements around user needs.
Define backend standards for style, maintainability, testing, application programming interfaces (APIs), and operational readiness, advocating for quality, security, availability, and performance.
Mentor associate and intermediate engineers, remove technical blockers, and improve delivery practices through code and design reviews.
Diagnose and prevent performance and reliability issues at scale, participate in incident response, and act as a technical owner where appropriate.
Experiment with and integrate agentic AI into production engineering workflows, evaluate its effectiveness, and coach others on responsible use and sound judgment.
What you’ll bring
Strong command of backend architecture, APIs, data systems, and performance tuning in a complex product or service environment.
Proficiency in modern backend languages and a deep understanding of systems programming, with the ability to learn and adapt rather than mastery of a single language.
Experience designing or evolving modular backend boundaries, bounded contexts, and migration-safe architectures.
Ability to lead through influence, technical judgment, and clear asynchronous written communication, connecting product needs with technical decisions and directing your own work.
Experience building or operating agentic AI systems in production, including loops, tool use, and error-handling strategies that support reliability at scale, beyond prompt engineering alone.
Helpful, but not required: experience with high-throughput distributed systems, concurrency or profiling; containerized production operations (such as Kubernetes); database performance (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, schema evolution or partitioning); large-scale modular monoliths or event-driven systems; public technical communication, open source maintenance or developer-focused software as a service (SaaS).
About the team
You'll join
Tenant Controls
within Production Engineering, where we own application-level rate limiting on GitLab.com. We build the framework that defines, counts, and observes every application rate limit and migrate existing implementations onto it. Our mission is to give GitLab.com a single way to define, configure, and observe these limits, so operators can understand them during an incident and change them without a deploy.

ENGINEERING MANAGER - APPLIED AI
THE ROLE AND ITS IMPACT
You will lead and grow the Internal AI Accelerator team as it expands from its current core to a fully formed engineering squad. You will own the strategy, delivery, and roadmap for how Xero designs and delivers agentic AI workflows that eliminate manual toil, speed up decision-making, and generate measurable productivity gains. This means working directly with business leaders across G&A, Finance, P&C, and IT functions to co-build reusable AI patterns and governance frameworks that last. You will shape how Xero thinks about AI delivery long after your tenure, building playbooks and reference architectures that other teams can pick up and run with.
What your engineers build goes into production and real people rely on it. One month you are partnering with finance, the next you are embedded in IT. You set the pace, you unblock the path, and you hold your team accountable to shipping.
THE TEAM AND HOW THEY CONNECT
The Internal AI Accelerator team is a small, high-impact crew of engineers embedded across Xero's business units. They partner directly with product, engineering, and business teams to design and ship AI workflows in weeks, not months. The team operates with a direct line to senior stakeholders and a genuine mandate to move fast. Together, you are genuinely curious about what works and what doesn't, learning openly from every project and sharing what you discover.
THE TEAM IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON
The team is expanding from a proof-of-concept phase into building at scale. You will focus on growing the engineering capability across multiple workstreams. Initially, your priorities will be:
- Scaling agentic AI delivery across multiple business domains (finance, HR, support, operations)
- Building reusable patterns, platforms, and governance frameworks that other teams can adopt
- Designing and implementing the technical architecture for enterprise AI deployments
- Establishing best practices for AI safety, evaluation, and operations at scale
WHERE AND HOW YOU CAN WORK
This role is based in Sydney. You will work in a hybrid model with core collaboration days in the office. Xero supports flexible ways of working, and regular "boost days" bring our ANZ teams together for connection and planning.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You bring solid engineering credibility, ideally from shipping production software at scale, so you can make sound technical decisions and earn your team's respect without needing to code day-to-day.
- Your approach to strategy is pragmatic: you can move fast without all the answers, turning vague problems into clear scope, and pivoting when the situation changes.
- You will Go Bold in how you lead: giving your team ownership, pushing back on processes that slow you down, and creating space for innovation alongside delivery.
- You demonstrate genuine curiosity about your people and a commitment to coaching them up. You leave your team knowing more than when they joined.
- You show comfort bridging technical and non-technical worlds, translating between engineers and business stakeholders without losing nuance on either side.
Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.

About the role
CertiK works with banks, regulators and regulated financial institutions that adopt digital assets. We build regulatory technology for these markets, and we are hiring a lead product manager to own what we build next for these clients.
You will gather client needs directly and through our client-facing consultants, turn them into a clear, prioritized roadmap, and present our products to clients, prospects and regulators in North America and, when needed, abroad. Inside the company, you represent the customer.
What you'll do
Run discovery with clients and prospects, on site and remotely, and work closely with the solutions consultants to set the agenda for what they learn in the field
Build and run a discovery channel of your own: a panel of compliance, risk and operations practitioners at banks, VASPs and regulators for structured (including paid) interviews, so requirements never depend on a single client
Convert client conversations and consultant findings into actionable, prioritized product and feature decisions, with the reason behind each request documented, and defend the ranking to leadership
Present CertiK's products and services to client teams, prospects and regulators in demos, workshops and tender presentations
Join Business Development and consultants on key client visits, primarily in the US, with occasional travel to Europe, the Middle East and other markets
Own the roadmap conversation with the CEO, Business Development and Engineering
Requirements
5–8 years in B2B product management, ideally in fintech, regtech, compliance software or at a regulated financial institution
Domain experience in financial crime, AML or transaction monitoring, blockchain intelligence, or risk and surveillance products, whether as a product manager or from inside a compliance function
Has led complete product cycles from discovery to launch in a regulated or enterprise domain, with demonstrated ability to identify the underlying need behind a client's stated request and show how it changed what was built
Native or fully proficient English, with professional presentation skills to senior compliance, risk and regulatory audiences
Established prioritization framework and a record of turning customer input into shipped features
Sufficient technical fluency to challenge engineering decisions and hold a position under pushback
Directs discovery through others as well as first-hand: part of the customer input comes via consultants, and the role sets their agenda
Regular travel within the US and international travel as required
Bonus points
Prior product experience at a blockchain intelligence or crypto compliance platform
Familiarity with FATF, Travel Rule, sanctions or MiCA-type requirements as they apply to digital assets
Familiarity with US, UK or EU digital asset regulation
Experience working with regulators or on regulatory tenders
