WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
WHO WE ARE:
This role sits on the EMEA Leadership Team and reports to the General Manager, EMEA.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Own the GTM strategy, operating rhythm, and growth plan for Germany, with accountability for overall regional revenue outcomes across Sales Assist and Self Serve contribution.
- Lead as a second-line manager: hire, coach, and develop frontline leaders and IC teams across Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, and supporting GTM functions.
- Scale a country-first GTM motion that brings Notion closer to German customers through local executive engagement, market nuance, and faster field-level decision-making.
- Accelerate the land engine by opening the right front doors, growing professional workspaces, increasing net-new and upgrade opportunities, and connecting self-serve signals to sales-assisted motion.
- Win lighthouse customers and turn them into market momentum by making them wildly successful, telling their story locally, and using those wins to influence peer companies across Germany.
- Embed Notion’s AI-era GTM model across the team, including agent-enabled customer journeys, first-agent workflow activation, AI/agent demo proficiency, and stronger “build with the customer” motions.
- Make agentic transformation central to the German GTM motion: help customers identify high-value workflows, build and deploy Notion Agents, automate cross-functional work, and measure outcomes from AI adoption.
- Partner tightly with Solutions Consultants, Outcomes Architects, Forward Deployed Architects/Engineers, Professional Services, and Channel to reduce handoffs and deliver faster, more durable customer value.
- Build “sell with” partner motions in Germany, including partner-sourced pipeline, co-sell plays, enablement, AI/agentic solution packages, and joint account planning.
- Establish Notion as a visible force in the German ecosystem through executive dinners, field events, startup and community engagement, partner activations, and customer advocacy.
- Represent the voice of German customers back to Product, PMM, Marketing, and EMEA leadership, especially around AI transformation, enterprise requirements, security, compliance, localization, and competitive dynamics.
- Create a talent destination in Germany by hiring builder-oriented leaders and ICs, raising the craft bar, and developing the next generation of AI-native GTM talent.
- Drive operational excellence across forecasting, pipeline quality, territory planning, inspection cadence, performance management, and cross-functional execution.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
A strategic and hands-on GTM operator who has scaled enterprise SaaS or AI businesses in Germany and knows how to build a market, not just inherit one. You have led through managers, owned complex revenue outcomes, and created local market momentum through customers, partners, community, and talent.
You combine second-line leadership with builder energy. You can set a crisp country strategy, install the operating system to execute it, and step into the field when needed — whether joining an executive customer conversation, sharpening a pipeline plan, coaching a manager, or helping the team translate a customer problem into an AI-powered, agentic workflow.
You are excited by Notion’s shift to an AI-native, country-first GTM model and believe the best GTM teams will increasingly be builders: BDRs who identify transformation opportunities, Solutions Consultants who build with customers in the room, Outcomes Architects who turn early workflows into durable adoption, and Forward Deployed Architects/Engineers who design the technical systems behind complex agentic workflows.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 12+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years SaaS or AI sales & GTM teams in Germany.
- Proven second-line leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing frontline managers and high-performing IC teams.
- Track record of owning and exceeding revenue targets across new business, expansion, and renewal/churn dynamics.
- Deep knowledge of the German enterprise and startup ecosystem, including executive buyer networks, local partner channels, and market-specific buying dynamics.
- Experience building or scaling a regional/country business in a high-growth or ambiguous environment.
- Experience selling, implementing, or leading GTM teams around AI, automation, agentic workflows, collaboration, productivity, developer, or data products.
- Strong strategic judgment: ability to define a country plan, segment the market, prioritize accounts and plays, and align cross-functional teams around outcomes.
- Operational rigor across forecasting, pipeline generation, inspection, performance management, territory planning, and sales process.
- Executive presence with CIO, CTO, CPO, COO, and business transformation buyers, with the ability to shape a compelling AI and agentic workflow narrative.
- Strong understanding of modern GTM motions across Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, Professional Services, Channel, Marketing, RevOps, and Product.
- Builder mentality and deep AI curiosity: comfortable learning, demoing, and coaching teams on agent-first workflows, proof-of-value motions, and customer co-building.
- Fluency in German and English.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience launching or scaling a country-first or regional GTM operating model.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, APIs, webhooks, connectors, data residency, AI governance, and technical evaluation processes.
- Experience scaling partner, channel, marketplace, or consultant-led GTM motions around AI or workflow transformation.

ABOUT CLIPBOARD
Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.
Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company https://www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies/ and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Clipboard is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to help build and run the systems behind our sales organization.
You'll work across Salesforce, data, automation, and internal tools to help our sales team operate more effectively. That might mean building an automation that eliminates a recurring workflow, investigating a messy data problem, redesigning part of our Salesforce setup, or building a new system from the ground up.
We are a small team with an unusual operating model. Much of our execution runs through AI agents that we direct and quality-check, allowing each analyst to operate with the leverage of a much larger team.
This is equal parts builder and operator. You'll own systems end to end, work through ambiguous requests from reps and leadership, and be accountable for making sure the things you build actually work.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own live systems. Take ownership of production systems such as account distribution, deal intelligence, competitor tracking, and data sync pipelines. You'll be accountable for their accuracy and reliability.
- Solve ambiguous problems. Work through requests from sales reps, managers, and leadership, figure out what is actually needed, and execute quickly.
- Direct AI agents. Write specs and prompts, supervise AI agents, and rigorously QA their output before it touches production data.
- Build automations and tools. Create scripts, scheduled jobs, Slack bots, and lightweight web apps that turn recurring manual work into scalable systems.
- Analyze and report. Use SQL and other tools to answer important revenue questions and build reporting the organization can trust.
- Guard data quality. Handle merges, deduplication, account mapping, enrichment, and other work required to keep our systems accurate at scale.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Evidence of building. You've built scripts, automations, tools, systems, or other solutions to real problems.
- AI-native working style. You already use AI to multiply your output and understand where it can fail and how to verify its work.
- High judgment under ambiguity. You can take a loosely defined problem, figure out what matters, and know when to act versus when to ask.
- Strong attention to detail. You're comfortable being the last line of defense before changes affect production systems and large datasets.
- Bias to ownership. When something you own breaks, you don't just fix the immediate issue. You look for the underlying problem and improve the system.
SQL and Python experience are strong pluses, but we're more interested in your curiosity, judgment, and ability to ship than checking every technical box.
NICE TO HAVE
- Salesforce administration or development experience, including flows, SOQL, or data model design.
- Experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, analytics, or a similar environment.
- Experience building automations with tools, scripts, APIs, or AI agents.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
1. Application Review – We'll review your experience and evidence of things you've built, automated, or owned.
2. Take-Home Assessment – A practical, ~2-hour assessment using a fictional company, mock website, and CRM. You'll have 48 hours to complete it, and AI tools are encouraged.
3. Technical Walkthrough – A 30-minute session where you'll demo what you built, explain your decisions, and make a small live change to your system.
4. Manager Interview – A 30-minute conversation focused on communication, ownership, judgment, and how you operate under ambiguity.
5. Final Steps / Offer! – Some candidates may have an executive conversation, followed by references and an offer.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive base salary
- Insurance benefits + 401k options
- Unlimited PTO and flexible holidays
- Remote-first working environment

Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
Senior Sales Regional Enterprise Manager
At Wolt, we create technology that brings local communities, merchants and customers closer together. What started with restaurant delivery has grown into a broader local commerce platform, helping customers discover and access more of what their cities have to offer.
As our Retail business continues to grow, we’re looking for a
Senior Sales Regional Enterprise Manager
to expand our selection of high-value regional retail partners. You’ll join our Sales team and take ownership of some of the most important regional acquisition opportunities across priority retail verticals, helping shape what customers can find on Wolt in their cities.
This role can be based in Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg or Munich .
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll own the acquisition and development of high-value regional Enterprise retail partners in Germany, from identifying and engaging the right prospects through commercial negotiations, signing and initial rollout. You’ll combine strong commercial execution with a strategic view on which partners can have the greatest impact on Wolt’s selection, coverage and long-term growth.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
Own the end-to-end sales cycle for regional Enterprise retail opportunities, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, contracting and signing.
Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of larger regional retailers and multi-location partners across priority verticals such as grocery, convenience, pet, pharmacy and beauty.
Develop a deep understanding of prospective partners’ businesses and create compelling commercial propositions that demonstrate the value of partnering with Wolt.
Lead complex commercial negotiations, balancing partner needs with sustainable economics and Wolt’s long-term business objectives.
Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and act as a trusted commercial partner throughout the sales process.
Work closely with internal teams including Operations, Account Management, Finance, Legal, Marketing and Product to structure partnerships and enable successful launches.
Take ownership beyond the signature, ensuring a strong handover and initial rollout so that newly acquired partners can successfully go live and scale.
Use market insights, pipeline data and commercial learnings to identify opportunities, prioritize the highest-impact accounts and continuously improve our regional Enterprise sales approach.
Contribute to sharing best practices and raising the bar for Enterprise sales execution across the wider team.
Our humble expectations
You have significant experience in B2B sales, business development or strategic partnerships, ideally working with Enterprise or other complex, multi-stakeholder customers.
You have a strong track record of independently managing and closing complex commercial opportunities from initial outreach through contract signature.
You’re an excellent negotiator and understand how to build partnerships that create sustainable value for both sides.
You’re comfortable engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, both externally and across cross-functional internal teams.
You combine a hands-on, results-oriented sales mindset with strong commercial judgment and the ability to prioritize opportunities based on their strategic impact.
You’re highly structured and comfortable managing multiple opportunities and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
You’re comfortable working with data and commercial metrics to evaluate opportunities, build business cases and inform decisions.
You communicate clearly and persuasively and are fluent in German and English.
What we offer
This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in the next phase of Wolt’s Retail growth. You’ll have direct ownership of high-impact regional partnerships and the autonomy to take opportunities from first conversation all the way through to launch.
You’ll work at the intersection of sales, strategy and operations, collaborating with experienced colleagues across Wolt while building relationships with some of the most important retailers in the market. The role offers substantial commercial ownership and exposure while giving you the opportunity to develop further in Enterprise sales and contribute to how we scale our Retail business.
You’ll also join a fast-moving international environment where good ideas can quickly turn into action, with the tools, support and trust to take ownership of your work and make a visible impact.
Next steps
If this sounds like an opportunity you’d be excited about, we’d love to hear from you.
After you apply, our Talent Acquisition team will review your application and get in touch with selected candidates for an initial conversation. The process will typically include interviews with the hiring team and relevant stakeholders, giving you the opportunity to learn more about the role, team and business while we get to know your experience and approach.
Depending on the role and location, the process may also include a practical case or commercial exercise. We’ll share the exact interview steps and expectations with you as you progress through the process.

If you've been shipping agents and want that to be the job, let's talk.
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
Take a look at these blog posts written by members of our team:
- Baseten Training: an autoresearch substrate https://www.baseten.co/blog/baseten-training-an-autoresearch-substrate/

- Design the harnesses, execution flows, and guardrails that make AI systems reliable in production.
- Build internal automation and AI tooling that measurably increases the velocity of engineering, research, and go-to-market teams.
- Partner with research engineers to scope product opportunities out of internal research workflows and turn them into customer-facing features.
- Define and instrument evals so you know whether a change actually improved output quality.
- Work throughout the stack (API layer, backend, agent orchestration, frontend) to implement features end to end.
- Use Baseten's own training and inference products yourself to develop intuition around customer workflows.
- Identify where AI can replace manual process across the company and build the thing rather than write the proposal.
- Fix bugs and resolve customer issues with urgency.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping software applications.
- Demonstrated experience building AI or LLM-powered products, agents, or agentic workflows that real users depend on.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to clear a real technical bar, not just prompt well.
- Ability to build accurate mental models of how systems work under the hood, including the models and harnesses you're building on.
- Proficiency in Python, with fluency in at least one other language.
- Comfort working autonomously in a fast-moving environment with limited structure.
- Ability to move between customer-facing product work and internal tooling and automation.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical depth and business needs.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience as a founding engineer or early employee at a startup.
- Experience building evals, agent observability, or tooling for non-deterministic systems.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks and harnesses (LangChain, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, MCP).
- Experience with model development methods like supervised fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, synthetic data generation, LoRA, and full fine-tunes.
- Frontend fluency.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Render is building a channel partnerships program from the ground up, and we're hiring our first Head of Revenue Partnerships to lead it — reporting to our VP of Revenue. You'll build Render's relationships with development agencies, PE firms, and — over time — systems integrators, to help Render customers who are migrating off competitive platforms, or who are pursuing new builds with Render.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Map partner types — agencies, PE firms, SIs — and determine which are the best fit for Render's product and customer base.
- Build relationships with execs at partner firms to understand their priorities, pricing, and delivery models.
- Develop commercial agreements with partners to co-sell Render alongside their own services, to both existing and net-new customers.
- Develop Render-specific narrative and enablement materials: decks, pilot frameworks, ROI overviews.
- Design co-marketing models with partners — customer dinners, digital campaigns, conferences, and joint events.
- Work with our technology partner team to build a co-sell motion for large & enterprise accounts.
- For partners with a portfolio model, like PE firms, design scaled activation programs — webinars, cohorts, office hours — that drive Render adoption across many portfolio companies at once, without requiring 1:1 touch on every account.
- Drive the creation of new pipeline for both Render and the partner, and own the path from first engagement to partner-qualified referral to closed revenue.
- Set up the operating rhythm of each partnership: regular engagement cadences, co-sell activity, and a clear, repeatable path from first call to referral.
- Partner closely with Render's internal Sales and Delivery/CS leaders to align on how reps and partners work together, keep deal registration and pipeline hygiene clean, and avoid channel conflict with internal teams
- Define and report on success metrics for the channel, evolving from early engagement signals toward pipeline and revenue impact as the program matures.
- Build out a team of partner managers over time, dedicated to each partner type.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of experience in B2B partnerships, sales, GM/general management, or solutions engineering roles, ideally at a B2B SaaS, Infra or PLG company.
- A generalist with strong seller DNA — someone who is outcomes-obsessed and comfortable being measured on pipeline creation, deal influence, and revenue, not just relationship-building.
- Comfort building a program without a playbook: you can hypothesize, run small experiments, and iterate quickly rather than waiting for a fully-formed process.
- Real experience working with solutions partners, agencies, or SIs — ideally in co-sell, referral, or partner-sourced revenue motions.
- A proven record of getting deals done — willingness to travel, get in front of partners in person, and find creative ways to keep partners engaged and motivated.
- Strong cross-functional operating skills — you'll work daily with Sales, Delivery/CS, Product Marketing, and Legal, and need to build trust and alignment across all of them.
- Comfort operating at the executive level, both with partner leadership and internally at Render.
- A technical enough orientation to credibly engage with developer-focused partners and speak to how AI is changing the questions partners are asking.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience building or scaling a channel program at an infrastructure, dev-tools, or other PLG-motion company.
- Familiarity with partner/ecosystem tooling such as Crossbeam, or experience running account mapping and pipeline reviews jointly with external partners.
- Experience navigating the emerging AI SI / AI consulting partner category.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.
This position is generally not eligible for new visa sponsorship. At Render's discretion, the business may sponsor existing visa transfers. Applicants who require sponsorship must receive business authorization.
Render is an equal-opportunity employer. We know that employing a team rich in diverse thoughts, experiences, and opinions allows our employees, product, and community to flourish. We make all employment decisions including hiring, evaluation, termination, promotional, and training opportunities, without regard to race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, physical handicap, mental disability, medical condition, disability, gender or identity or expression, pregnancy or pregnancy-related condition, marital status, height and/or weight.
We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

Priority application deadline:
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Early applications are heavily encouraged.
We’re growing at incredible speed, and expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. We’re hiring a
Chief Technology Officer
to lead the building and rebuilding of the technology, systems and ways of working that will enable a sustained $5B+ p/a operation.
You will build software that safely and securely moves billions of dollars to millions of vulnerable people in some of the poorest and highest need parts of the world. This will require applying excellent engineering, team building and organizational judgment to complex, high-stakes operations: identity and fraud management, machine learning on large but imperfect datasets (cell phone data, satellite imagery, government registries), mobile money integrations, low-connectivity environments, rapidly evolving requirements all in diverse regulatory environments and country contexts. You’ll need to keep our legacy technology stack stable and performant, while in parallel building new systems from the ground up for our next level of scale.
You will lead engineering, data, security and enterprise technology – with a small, mighty and rapidly growing engineering team of ~15, and the expectation that this can at least double to ~30 in the next 12 months if you want it to. You’ll report to a CEO with deep experience running technology companies, and partner with our VP Product.
This role is remote, with working hours between US Eastern Time and East African Time, and some preference for candidates in our office hubs of New York, London, or Nairobi.
What we’re looking for:
An exceptional hirer, manager and organizer of technical talent.
Proven record identifying, hiring, developing and retaining excellent engineers and engineering leaders, and creating team processes that consistently deliver software with quality and velocity.
Deep technical judgment, applied close to the work.
You can evaluate major designs, pressure-test architecture and build-vs-buy decisions, and recognize when a team is heading the wrong way, without becoming the primary implementer. Low-ego: you’ll investigate a problem yourself when that’s what the situation requires.
Business judgment and decisiveness under ambiguity.
You’re not just a technical leader, you’re also a business executive. You understand the business, are a strong cross-functional partner, and have a history of good judgment when navigating tradeoffs of long vs. short term, speed, reliability, security, flexibility, cost, technical quality, and user impact.
AI first.
You have a point of view on where AI meaningfully changes engineering productivity and organizational capability, and you’ve moved a team from experimentation to real, measured use. You can set the tools, culture, goals, and guardrails that leverage the opportunities and mitigate the risks of an AI first engineering culture.
Embody and set an example for GD values.
We take
our values
incredibly seriously, and expect our leaders to embody, nurture, and promote them in the way they work and the teams they build.
Advantages, not requirements.
Experience in an operationally complex or regulated domain (fintech, payments, humanitarian response, global development); systems involving financial controls, fraud risk, identity, or sensitive recipient data; operating across multiple countries, particularly lower-income or infrastructure-constrained ones; leading both modern product engineering and enterprise technology.
What you’ll do
Define our technology vision and target stack.
Own the technical strategy for technology-first delivery at $5B+/year: architecture, platforms, build-vs-buy, and what we retire. Work with executive, product, finance, risk, and data leaders to turn program and product strategy into a sequenced, credible portfolio of technical investments.
Balance a demanding portfolio.
You'll manage six workstreams that all matter and won't all move at once: (1) building our new cash delivery stack (remote-first verification, fraud prevention, massive volume) (2) stabilizing our legacy stack until switchover, then managing the migration; (3) donor-facing fundraising products; (4) our global emergency cash system (and eventual white-labelling of that product); (5) enterprise technology; (6) internal tooling, platform, and cybersecurity. Deciding sequencing and staffing across these (and saying "not yet" credibly) is the job.
Build and grow an exceptional technology organization.
Recruit outstanding engineering and technology talent, design the org GiveDirectly needs at its next stage of scale (engineering, product, data, security, infrastructure, enterprise systems), and create the accountability, decision rights, and career paths to sustain high talent density. Grow the engineering team from 15 to ~30 with a lean but durable management structure.
Own the technical direction and quality bar.
Guide consequential decisions on integrations, data, security, reliability, and technical debt. Ensure our systems can safely support a major increase in transaction volume, geographic reach, and organizational dependence on technology. Set a pragmatic quality bar appropriate to high-stakes financial delivery while preserving speed.
Lead across organizational boundaries.
Serve as a member of GiveDirectly’s executive team, reporting to the CEO and bringing technology into major strategic and operating decisions. Help non-technical leaders understand technical constraints and costs, build credibility with country and functional leaders by understanding their realities, and force clarity when priorities, ownership, or tradeoffs are ambiguous.
Travel.
Approximately 4–6 trips per year, including visits to GiveDirectly countries of operation.
Compensation
At GiveDirectly, we strive to pay our employees generously and equitably. We use an accredited third party salary aggregator to calculate what we believe to be competitive pay based on role, location, and cost of living. We also have a no negotiation policy so pay is consistent across comparable roles.

We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Role overview:
North is Cohere’s AI workspace platform for enterprises: a secure, customizable environment where companies can use AI across their real workflows while maintaining control over sensitive data. North connects AI agents with workplace tools, applications, and business context, helping users delegate complex work, build automations, inspect outputs, and collaborate with AI in production environments.
As North becomes more capable, one of the most important questions is also one of the hardest: how do we know whether the model is actually getting better for the workflows customers care about?
This role is about being the voice of North inside modelling. You will build the evaluation systems, feedback loops, and applied modelling workflows that make sure model progress translates into better product outcomes for North users. You will work closely with North product teams, customer-facing teams, and modelling teams to define what “good” means across the product surface, turn real usage and product direction into high-quality evals, and use those evals to guide model selection, patches, and regular model updates.
This is neither a pure research role nor a conventional product engineering role. It is a rigorous applied MLE role for someone who cares deeply about measurement, model behavior, and real-world product quality. You should be excited by the craft of building careful evals: evals that capture messy agentic workflows, reflect actual customer needs, resist superficial benchmark hacking, and provide useful signal for where the product and models need to go next.
Please note: this team works closely across Europe and East Coast North America time zones. We are open to candidates who can collaborate effectively within those hours.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the eval strategy for North: define what we need to measure across agent workflows, tool use, enterprise knowledge work such as deep research, document creation or editing, and other human-AI interactions.
- Build high-quality evals from the realities of the product: user feedback, production failures, privacy-preserving usage logs, internal dogfooding, customer needs, and forward-looking product goals.
- Create systems that continuously turn what North is learning from users, customers, and feature teams into evals, so measurement keeps pace with the product rather than becoming a static benchmark.
- Be the voice of North inside modelling: extract clear insight from eval results, customer-derived data and product context, then turn model failures, capability gaps, and North-specific needs into actionable recommendations for the central modelling teams.
Qualifications:
- You have improved LLM-powered, agent-powered, or AI-product systems through evals, feedback loops, data curation, prompting, model adaptation, or model selection.
- You care deeply about evaluation as a craft: representative tasks, precise rubrics, clean data, failure analysis, regression tracking, and knowing when a metric is giving false confidence.
- You have strong applied MLE judgment and can reason clearly about model behavior, eval validity, product outcomes, and production tradeoffs.
- You are comfortable working close to users and product teams, while translating messy qualitative signals into measurement that other modelling teams can act on.
- You are self-directed, practical, and motivated by open-ended problems where the right answer requires both technical depth and product understanding.
- You care about making AI systems genuinely useful in real enterprise settings, not just better on abstract benchmarks.
If some of the above does not line up perfectly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply.
Working Location:
This role can be based remotely or from one of our office locations listed on the job description - there is no minimum in-office qualification requirement. We care most about hiring exceptional people regardless of locations, though please check the location listed on the posting for guidance around the core time zone or working hours alignment expected for the role.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Forward Deployed Engineers work directly with the largest and fastest-growing AI companies in the world, owning their technical outcomes on Baseten and taking on the hardest problems in serving and improving models at scale. The work spans the model lifecycle: inference, post-training, and the systems that tighten the loop between them.
- Act as each account's de facto CTO on Baseten, with final accountability for how their workloads are designed, run, and scaled.
- Take customer objectives from vague to shipped: frame the problem, define the spec and success criteria, build the PoC, and carry it through to production quickly, using the right tools for the problem.
- Design the evals and benchmarks that isolate where quality or performance falls short, then close the gap yourself, whether that means optimizing inference, improving the model through post-training, or reworking the eval itself.
- Be the first responder to mission-critical failures including triage, owning the fix directly or route to the owning team and stay accountable until it ships.
- Build internal systems so that each engagement is faster than the last. This includes tooling and automation for eval and deployment infrastructure, and the recipes and reference implementations that make the product more self-serve.
- Shape the product itself, channeling what your accounts need into the roadmap and shipping fixes and features into Baseten's codebase yourself.
- Do all of this across multiple accounts at once, sequencing the work, pulling in the right people at the right time, and keeping customers and internal stakeholders aligned on status and risk.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1-2 years of software engineering experience, shipping and maintaining code in large production systems, ideally with breadth across the stack
- Experience debugging complex production issues - working through logs, metrics, and traces to root-cause problems in unfamiliar systems
- Confidence owning ambiguous technical problems. This includes triaging, making decisions under uncertainty, and knowing when to pull in other engineers who own the underlying systems
- Motivation beyond pure engineering. An interest in wanting to work directly with customers, understand their problems firsthand, and influence the product
- Clear communication on complex technical topics, whether you're talking to a customer's engineers or their leadership
- Genuine curiosity about AI inference and training, and a drive to become an expert in the infrastructure powering it
- Willingness to respond to customers outside regular working hours and participate in an on-call rotation
- Excitement about solving problems for some of the largest and fastest-growing companies in the world running mission-critical AI workloads
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
We don't expect any one person to cover all of this - the strongest candidates may spike in one or two of the following:
- Depth in a core infrastructure domain such as storage systems or networking (anywhere from the cloud layer to cluster interconnects like InfiniBand and RoCE)
- Experience operating distributed compute platforms like Kubernetes, Slurm, or Ray, especially for GPU workloads
- A detailed understanding of LLM architectures and modern inference engines like vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, or SGLang
- The ability to profile and optimize GPU workloads, in training or serving
- Hands-on experience with post-training techniques like SFT and RL, or a broader deep learning background plus fluency in a tensor computation library like PyTorch or JAX
- Operational depth - running on-call, leading incident response, debugging distributed systems under pressure
