Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
The Figma Research team is hiring an experienced researcher for our Rapid Research program. We're product builders who bring research expertise to the team, working closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to clarify problems, test ideas, and recommend what to change—often in one- to two-week sprints.
You'll rotate across product areas, ramp up quickly, and build relationships as you go, energized by unfamiliar products and ambiguous problems and ready to take initiative rather than wait for a fully scoped brief. You bring strong opinions about what makes a great experience, grounded in the needs of the people using it, spot connections across product areas, and combine deep qualitative and quantitative research expertise with a flexible, resourceful approach to moving quickly without sacrificing rigor. Beyond individual studies, you bring a clear point of view on what to build or change, tailor your communication to your audience, and are willing to challenge assumptions and say the hard thing with care—asking for help when you need it and offering it when others do.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
Scope and run focused research in quick sprints, using sound methods to answer the questions most likely to change a product decision
Turn findings into specific recommendations a designer or PM can act on, working through tradeoffs and helping the team put them into practice
Present product recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership, telling the story behind the data, not just reporting insights
Rotate across product areas and teams as needed, building credibility and relationships quickly without being embedded long-term
Contribute beyond research studies by using our products, joining design reviews, and helping teams recognize when they have enough information to act
Bring clarity to ambiguous problems, challenge assumptions, and adjust the scope or approach as you learn
Experiment with tools, templates, and workflows to make research faster and sharper
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
7+ years of experience in research at high-growth product organizations, UX/design agencies, or strategic consultancies focused on digital experiences
Proficiency in mixed methods research, including qualitative approaches such as interviews and quantitative approaches such as surveys and data analysis
Strong product judgment, with examples of specific recommendations you made and how they shaped the product, backed by strong communication and storytelling skills with a track record of securing executive buy-in
Experience ramping up quickly on new projects and delivering clear recommendations in one- to two-week research sprints, turning ambiguous problems into clear questions and a practical path forward
A scrappy, flexible approach, adapting to changing priorities and tight timelines while maintaining sound research methods, including active use of AI tools to improve speed, quality, or scale
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
Proficiency in designing and prototyping, ideally within the Figma suite of tools
Familiarity with researching design tools, developer tools, creative software, or other products people use to build things
A background in product design, product management, or engineering
Ability to combine product analytics with qualitative research to inform recommendations
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Coding agents are only as good as the context they're given. Most explore a repository like a new hire on day one – grepping, opening files, guessing. JetBrains Context replaces that with actual knowledge of your whole codebase and resources, served to any agent that asks. If you want to own the layer that decides what an agent knows before it writes a single line, this is for you.
About JetBrains
We create intelligent software development tools for developers and teams. More than 15 million users, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100 rely on our products to solve real, complex problems. Our mission is simple: make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale.
What you’ll do
As agents get better at searching for themselves, what is the durable value of a managed retrieval layer? We need someone with an opinionated answer to own JetBrains Context as a product – defining what it is for, who it is for, how we measure success, and where it goes next.
This is a hands-on role where you'll manage the product from a terminal and agent session rather than slides. You'll bridge the technical core and cross-functional teams: collaborating closely with engineering and ML teams on indexing pipelines and retrieval quality, working with Air, IDE, and Junie teams on integrations, and partnering with marketing, developer advocacy, sales, and customer success on positioning and adoption. You'll take full ownership of defining problem statements, setting explicit trade-offs, and balancing cost, latency, and freshness across the platform.
Day to day, you will:
Build and maintain a deep working understanding of chunking, embeddings, index freshness, retrieval, reranking, and agent-facing surfaces.
Define and defend an opinionated vision for the product's evolution, including explicit target audiences, use cases, and key success metrics.
Translate product strategy into actionable problem statements, priorities, plans, and milestones with an explicit definition of “done”.
Communicate product direction clearly to engineering, leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, customers, and prospects.
Analyze competing context and code-search products through direct use to establish clear differentiators and identify gaps.
Define core operational and product metrics – index freshness, retrieval quality, agent task outcomes, adoption, retention, and unit economics – to guide decision-making.
Represent the product externally by sharing roadmaps, publishing updates, speaking to developer audiences, and gathering community feedback.
Partner with ML teams on model evaluation and platform teams on service scale, reliability, and cost.
What you’ll bring
A well-argued point of view on where AI-first development is going and what agents genuinely need from a context layer.
Comfort with technical depth across embeddings, retrieval quality, sub-agents, tool-calling, indexing costs, and API design.
The habit of using the product you build daily alongside competitors' tools.
Communication that adapts to different audiences, from staff engineers and enterprise architects to conference attendees.
A data-informed approach that combines telemetry, evaluation results, customer conversations, and market signals.
Comfort with ambiguity and a preference for defining a new category over copying an existing one.
What you’ll need
Proven experience owning a complex developer, platform, or infrastructure product end to end, including strategy and roadmap.
Hands-on familiarity with modern AI coding tools and agent workflows.
The technical capability to work directly with engineering on retrieval behavior, APIs, data models, and integration surfaces.
The ability to define metrics for quality-sensitive products and build evaluation habits that maintain product standards.
Experience communicating a product externally through written content, talks, or community engagement.
Practical experience with search, retrieval, RAG, developer search, or static analysis at scale is a plus.
What success looks like
Within your first months, you'll form and share a clear thesis for what JetBrains Context is and is not – one the engineering team recognizes as theirs and leadership can invest in. You'll establish a metrics story that distinguishes real retrieval quality from vanity usage, a roadmap with clear trade-offs, and a documented evaluation of serious competitors.
Longer term, success means JetBrains Context becomes a deliberate choice for developers and organizations, agents get measurably better answers because it exists, enterprises adopt it for its governance and scale, and the market clearly understands its unique value because you've communicated it effectively.
Why join JetBrains?
Strong base salary. We offer competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience.
Flexible work location. Enjoy the freedom to work from home or from the office.
Remote work. Spend up to 30 days per year working remotely from abroad.

Senior Frontend Engineer
An overview of this role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll solve high-scope frontend problems and influence your team's technical and product direction. You'll ship moderately sized features with minimal guidance, improve quality and performance, mentor other engineers, and help establish standards for a high-scale web environment. You'll partner across product, design, backend, and frontend to make sound trade-offs, communicate clearly, and improve how the team delivers software.
This is an opportunity to shape product experiences and frontend architecture for a global platform while helping define how modern frontend teams use agentic artificial intelligence. You'll apply artificial intelligence-assisted engineering workflows thoughtfully and help create trustworthy user experiences that incorporate artificial intelligence responsibly in a remote-first, asynchronous organization.
What you’ll do
Design and ship moderately sized frontend features and improvements with minimal guidance, making pragmatic architectural choices.
Turn ambiguous customer and product needs into clear technical plans and intuitive, accessible experiences.
Advocate for product quality, security, accessibility, performance, maintainability, and operational readiness throughout the development lifecycle.
Establish and improve practices for frontend architecture, styling, component design, testing, observability, maintainable code, and thoughtful use of artificial intelligence and agentic tools in production engineering work.
Mentor Associate and Intermediate Engineers, share knowledge, remove technical blockers, and improve team delivery practices.
Diagnose and prevent frontend performance and reliability issues at scale using observability and production signals, and participate in incident response or on-call responsibilities under your team's ownership model.
Design or review independently buildable frontend surfaces and explicit contracts for data, events, authorization, feature flags, error handling, testing, and performance expectations.
Collaborate with product, design, backend, quality, security, and other teams to deliver cohesive customer outcomes.
What you’ll bring
Experience applying frontend architecture, browser behavior, testing, accessibility, performance, and maintainability practices in a complex product or platform environment.
Experience designing or evolving modular frontend boundaries, independently buildable surfaces, component systems, or migration-safe architectures.
Experience making pragmatic trade-offs with product and design partners and turning complex requirements into clear user experiences.
The ability to lead through technical judgment, collaboration, and clear written communication rather than formal authority.
Experience mentoring engineers and improving team practices through code review, design review, documentation, or hands-on collaboration.
The ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous organization by managing priorities, creating clarity, and communicating decisions in writing.
Practical experience integrating artificial intelligence into a feature, workflow, or engineering process, or evaluating its reliability, security, privacy, and appropriate human oversight.
Helpful, but not required: experience with Vue, React, Angular, TypeScript, or JavaScript; PostgreSQL, Redis, or object storage; representational state transfer or GraphQL; Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine, Docker, or Google Cloud Platform; Prometheus or Sentry; and Git, GitLab Runner, or GitLab continuous integration and continuous delivery.

An overview of this role
As a Senior Developer Advocate at GitLab, you'll help technical audiences understand and use our intelligent orchestration platform where teams and their AI agents ship secure software faster. You'll go deep on the product, especially GitLab Duo Agent Platform and our newer capabilities, and continuously discover real-world workflows that teams care about. You'll turn that hands-on knowledge into demos, blog posts, videos, and presentations, and bring what you learn from customers and the developer community back to GitLab.
This role focuses on showing the product in action and building relationships with customers and the community. You'll help cover events and work across U.S. and Canadian time zones.
What you'll do
Deeply understand GitLab's platform, especially our AI agent capabilities, and continuously find productive, real-world use cases worth showing.
Create product content, including videos, blog posts, presentations, and social clips that show key use cases for GitLab in the user interface and terminal.
Produce video content end to end: script, record, and edit product walkthroughs and demos, and collaborate with GitLab's video team on longer or higher-production pieces.
Deliver product demos and participate in analyst briefings.
Engage with customers through webinars, customer meetings, and other conversations.
Participate in the developer community by engaging on the GitLab forum and Discord, following the conversations happening on social platforms, in newsletters, and at events, and making sure GitLab has a voice in the ones that matter.
Answer technical questions that come through the sales team, and partner with support, sales, and product on developer-facing educational content.
Use hands-on product experience to share feedback with product teams and test new features.
Contribute to technical research and analysis of the developer tools landscape.
Travel requirement up to 20% for events and customer meetings.
What you'll bring
Hands-on technical experience. You understand how software gets built, with a focus on everything that happens after code is written, and can talk about it credibly with engineers.
Understanding of artificial intelligence and its use in software development, from coding all the way to production. You have built and operated agentic systems and infrastructure.
The ability to explain technical products clearly. You can demo a product, record a walkthrough, or speak at a conference without it feeling forced.
Fluency in developer social platforms. You know what's interesting to the people we're trying to reach and can participate in the conversation with credibility.
Curiosity and self-direction. You're already finding the next thing worth talking about, following the right people, and noticing opportunities.
Experience engaging with customers, developers, or technical communities.
Ability to work independently and collaborate across sales, engineering, product, and other teams.
About the team
The Developer Advocacy team creates content that shows GitLab in use, engages with customers and the developer community, and brings hands-on product feedback to GitLab teams. The team also contributes technical research and analysis, while partnering with other groups to share its findings.

Able to provide a high degree of account management and control, working under minimal supervision on complex opportunities while maintaining clear communication and alignment.
Ability to generate new business and expand existing accounts through consultative, multi-stakeholder sales motions that result in sustainable, long-term partnerships.
Experience collaborating with strategic channel partners to develop opportunities, co-sell, and support successful customer adoption.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, with effective written and verbal communication that influences internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Director of Customer Experience Operations, you will be a strategic and hands-on partner to PS leadership. You will help move the organization from manual, disjointed processes to connected, reliable, and increasingly automated ways of working. Your work will give leaders better visibility into pipeline, capacity, staffing, delivery economics, and growth and will ensure our teams have what they need to successfully deliver.
What you’ll do
Mature the PS operating cadence, including forecasting & planning alignment, business reviews, performance reporting, and executive readouts.
Establish connected capacity, utilization, and resource management practices across billable and non-billable roles, including skill-based staffing and hiring planning.
Improve visibility and deliver insights into project economics, including rate cards, fully loaded costs, burden rates, project margin, fixed-fee budgets, utilization, and revenue recognition.
Partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, CX Engineering, Solutions Architecture, and Delivery to improve PSA, time-tracking, CRM, reporting, and related tooling.
Define requirements and lead process improvements, automations, and efficiency drivers across Professional Services, Operations, and newly integrated services teams.
Improve go-to-market alignment by tracking PS attach, connecting PS planning to account and renewal timelines, and enabling earlier PS involvement in deal strategy and account planning.
Partner cross functionally to deliver improvements in service catalog, pricing and packaging, SKU governance, and partner or channel delivery models.
Document processes, clarify roles and decision rights, and partner with Analytics to build self-service reporting that reduces dependencies of PS leadership for day-to-day execution.
What you’ll bring
10+ years’ experience in Professional Services Operations, Services Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related function in a technology or subscription business.
Deep understanding of PS business models, including time and materials, fixed-fee, and blended engagements.
Experience owning and developing forecasting and planning processes that connect sales pipeline to delivery capacity, staffing, bookings, and revenue.
Experience with resource management, utilization, project margin, delivery operations, PSA systems, or services go-to-market operations.
Experience leading process and systems improvements across evolving organizations.
Strong analytical, business judgment, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
A pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving ambiguous operational problems.
Hands-on experience with Kantata or a comparable Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform.
Ability to translate business requirements into system workflows, data definitions, reporting requirements, and automation opportunities.
Deep familiarity with revenue recognition processes and the systems partnership required between Professional Services and Finance.
Nice to have
Experience integrating two or more services organizations, operating models, or systems or driving operations transformation and maturity.
Experience improving PS attach, deal structuring, account planning, or services participation in the sales cycle.
Experience with partner, channel, or customer-funded delivery models.
Experience working in a distributed or all-remote organization.

About WorkOS 🚀
WorkOS builds modern developer tools and APIs that make it easy for companies to become Enterprise Ready. Our platform powers authentication, identity, authorization, and other critical infrastructure that developers need to securely scale their products to large organizations.
We recently raised a $100M Series C, valuing the company at $2B, led by Meritech and Sapphire with participation from Greenoaks, Craft, Abstract, and Audacious. WorkOS powers enterprise features for many of the fastest-growing AI companies, including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity, Sierra, and Plaid.
As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
ABOUT THE SECURITY PLATFORM TEAM
The Infrastructure Security team provides and supports the primitives that enable engineering to securely build applications and meet compliance obligations, while abstracting away the underlying complexity for the best possible developer experience.
Our work centers on workload identity and authorization: how internal applications authenticate to each other and to the services they depend on, and how that access is granted and enforced. We're replacing static secrets with short-lived identity credentials, bringing identity-based authentication to the services engineers use every day, and unifying how authorization is managed across the company.
We're a platform engineering team with a security mission. We measure success by the security outcomes we enable and by how much engineers enjoy building on what we ship — the secure path should be the easiest path.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A platform builder. You love building infrastructure that other engineers rely on every day, and you sweat the developer experience details that make adoption effortless.
- Fluent in service-to-service auth. You know authentication and authorization deeply: JWTs, X.509 certificates, and when to reach for each.
- A systems thinker. You reason carefully about bootstrapping, circular dependencies, availability, and failure modes, especially for infrastructure that everything else depends on.
- A pragmatic migrator. You know that shipping the primitive is half the job. You can drive adoption across many teams, meet them where they are, and retire the legacy path.
- A strong partner to engineering. You build trust with engineers by understanding their priorities and making security frictionless.
- Excited about AI. You're embracing AI and automation to scale platform work and reduce toil.
- Curious and humble. You ask the basic questions, enjoy untangling complex systems, and bring others along with you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build workload identity infrastructure. Make short-lived identity credentials a default part of every application's runtime environment, in partnership with application platform owners.
- Bring identity-based authentication to internal services. Work with the owners of major internal dependencies to support identity certificates, make them the golden path for newly onboarding applications, and drive migration of existing ones.
- Eliminate static secrets. Replace all static passwords and service tokens with short-lived identity credentials, and build identity-authenticated egress proxies and API abstractions that inject and automatically rotate managed secrets for the external dependencies that still require them.
- Unify authorization. Build a single interface and framework through which authorization policies are centrally managed and enforced.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on security-related platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems.
- Strong working knowledge of secrets management, fine-grained authorization, and workload identity systems.
- Familiarity with the Kubernetes ecosystem and authentication/authorization technologies such as JWTs, X.509 certificates, PKI, cert-manager, SPIFFE/SPIRE, and OPA.
- Experience building and operating production infrastructure that other teams depend on, with attention to availability and failure modes.
- Proven ability to drive cross-team adoption of platform capabilities or lead large-scale migrations.

Our security program is shaped by hands-on experience attacking and defending systems, and applying lessons from across the industry. We embrace the latest advancements in practices and tooling that make modern security teams effective.
We are comfortable in code and collaborate often with engineering to create products that are secure by default.
Who we’re looking for
- Risk-focused and pragmatic. You excel at identifying and reasoning about security risk in real-world contexts. You prioritize ruthlessly, always asking: what's the most effective way to reduce risk right now and in the long term?
- A builder who can break things. You're comfortable reading and writing code, and you have a passion for deeply understanding the products you secure. You think like an attacker to find subtle, high impact vulnerabilities and like a defender to design pragmatic, effective mitigations.

- Excited about AI. You're embracing AI and automation to scale security and reduce toil.

Responsibilities
- Lead secure design efforts. Partner with engineering teams on secure design and code reviews. Identify and prioritize risks early in the product lifecycle.
- Build secure by default systems. Develop paved paths that systemically reduce risk and make secure development the easiest path for engineers.
- Perform offensive security testing. Conduct penetration tests and code audits on new and existing products from an adversarial lens.
- Improve our security tooling. Integrate and improve our static analysis, supply chain security, and vulnerability management capabilities across engineering pipelines.
- Operate our responsible disclosure program. Run and improve our program by furthering automation, validating submissions, and coordinating remediation.
- Improve our products. Write and ship code to remediate vulnerabilities in production systems and improve the security posture of WorkOS products.
- Work directly with customers. Help build our customers' trust by directly engaging with their security-related questions and concerns.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a security engineering or security-focused software engineering role.
- Ability to execute across a wide range of security functions such as security assessments, penetration testing, responsible disclosure, security tooling integration, etc.
- Familiarity with and experience using common industry tooling.
- Proven ability to identify vulnerabilities in software, demonstrated through CVEs, bug bounty, blog posts, or prior work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in partnering with engineering teams.
- Comfortable reading and writing code, and able to effectively leverage AI during the process.
- Bonus: Experience in the authentication and identity domain.
- Bonus: Experience writing production level code, especially developing security features.
