Location: Limassol Cyprus Workplace: OnSite Job Title: Staff/Lead SDET Engineer (Test Automation Platform) Product: Total Battle Total Battle is a massive MMO 4X strategy game available on mobile and web, uniting millions of active players. As our product and engineering teams scale, we are shifting our testing paradigm: automated testing must become a daily, self-service engineering tool rather than a bottleneck owned by a dedicated team. We are looking for a Staff/Lead SDET to take technical ownership of our internal test automation tooling and make this vision a reality. Why this role exists Your core mission is to empower product QA teams. You won't write tests; you will build the tools, APIs, and abstractions that allow QA engineers (with basic Python & OOP skills) to independently create checks, manage test states, run tests in CI/CD, and diagnose failures. - The Product Teams own the tests. - You own the tooling layer that makes their work possible. [https://app.ashbyhq.com/api/images/user-content/55591132-5874-4888-add0-f14f70025dca/2aa3a273-986b-4c05-b6a2-27fee33e607f/image.png] 💡 Core Focus Areas: 1. Client Testing Tools: UI scenarios, method/component checks across Android, WebGL, and (soon) iOS. 2. Server Integration: Component testing tools built over existing Python clients, SDKs, and product testability capabilities.(Note: We aren't starting from scratch. We need a visionary who can assess our existing solutions, define a target architecture, and evolve them incrementally). What You’ll Work On - Drive Technical Strategy: Define the roadmap for QA tooling, evolve its architecture, and personally implement key solutions. - Build the Platform: Develop domain APIs, fixtures, and state-preparation tools for integration/component testing over existing SDKs. - Enhance Client Automation: Extend client UI automation and enable sub-UI checks for specific client methods. - Unify Execution: Ensure local and CI execution follow a predictable, unified path across Android and WebGL. - Create Diagnostics: Build clear diagnostic tools to help QA engineers easily distinguish between product, test, tooling, and infrastructure failures. - Cross-Team Collaboration: Translate recurring QA needs into product testability requirements and establish technical contracts with client/backend teams. - Evangelize & Mentor: Drive adoption of your tools through pilots, solid documentation, and feedback loops. (Where needed, help define engineering roles and participate in hiring/onboarding). Who You Are We are looking for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in long-term ownership of internal platforms. - Python Expert: You regularly write, debug, and maintain Python code for libraries, frameworks, SDKs, or internal tools. - Platform Builder: You have designed or substantially evolved a framework/SDK used by multiple teams, bringing it to a point where teams can use it independently. - API Designer: You know how to build stable public APIs over existing SDKs, hiding low-level details from the end-user. - Cross-Functional Driver: You’ve successfully worked with backend, client, or framework teams to deliver testability capabilities, driving changes even when you don't directly manage the teams. - CI/CD & Diagnostics Guru: You have integrated automated checks into CI quality gates with robust reproducibility and diagnostics. - AI Adopter: You leverage LLMs and coding agents to investigate codebases, develop tooling, or create tests efficiently. - Deep Domain Expertise: You have profound hands-on experience in at least one of the following (and can take technical responsibility for the other): - Client/UI automation: Drivers, custom/non-native UI, synchronization, and sub-UI checks. - Backend/integration tooling: Python clients/SDKs, protocols, sessions, fixtures, and test state. Nice to Have (Bonus Points) - Experience in both client/UI and backend/integration tooling. - Background in modernizing legacy automation and conducting incremental user migrations. - Experience with complex test lifecycles (data isolation, flaky checks, state management). - Experience in GameDev or complex live-service products (Unity, Cocos/Axmol, WebGL). - Familiarity with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, XCUITest, Android ADB, or iOS infrastructure. - Experience with asynchronous Python, typed models (Pydantic, mypy), or schema-based code generation. Why to join: 1. ☀️ Live & Work in Sunny Cyprus: We’re an office-first team in Limassol with a modern seaside workspaces. We provide full relocation and visa support for you and your family. 2. 💰 Industry-Leading Rewards: High salaries, a 13th salary, performance bonuses, extra rewards for life milestones (marriage, babies, long service), daily breakfast and lunch. 3. 🛡️ Family Support: Private family health insurance, plus a highly competitive monthly allowance for your children’s pre-school, school, and university education. 4. 🚀 Shape a Global Hit: Work on a Top-10 global mobile 4X strategy game that has grown 25x in revenue and audience over 5 years. 5. 🏰 Rock-Solid Stability: We operate at startup speed but with zero history of lay-offs. We are independent, financially secure, and boast a 99% employee satisfaction rate. 6. 🧠 Culture & Growth: A flat structure where the best ideas win and transparency rules. Your growth is funded from specialized training, certifications, language courses and books to internal and external conferences coverage.
Location: Remote About the Team: Netlify’s Data team helps the company understand and improve the full product-led growth journey, from activation and engagement through conversion, retention, and monetization. We partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth to uncover opportunities, evaluate investments, and understand what drives customer and business outcomes. We’re hiring a Senior Staff Data Scientist to deepen how data shapes our product and growth strategy. You’ll develop an end-to-end understanding of the PLG journey, proactively identify opportunities, and turn complex data into hypotheses, experiments, and recommendations that influence where we invest and what we build. This is a highly autonomous role for someone who can move from identifying an important question to shaping the approach, defining success, and driving toward an answer. What You'll Do: Own the analytical understanding of Netlify’s PLG performance across activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention, identifying opportunities before they become requests Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to turn behavioral insights into product bets, defining what to test, how to measure it, and what the results mean Lead experimentation from hypothesis through decision, including study design, methodology, success metrics, guardrails, analysis, and recommendations Apply statistical rigor where it matters while recognizing when there is enough signal to make a decision and move forward, and help teams develop that same judgment Build scalable analytical systems like semantic models, trusted metrics, proactive monitoring, and AI-powered agents that surface opportunities without waiting to be asked Use AI to investigate faster, automate recurring analytical work, and test more hypotheses without sacrificing the judgment that makes the output useful Identify gaps in measurement, event instrumentation, and metric definitions, and partner with Data and Product Engineering to close them Serve as a trusted analytical partner to PLG leadership, using evidence and product judgment to influence investment decisions and roadmap priorities Influence product strategy through evidence, product instincts, and a clear point of view, without relying on formal authority to do it What You'll Bring: 8+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or data science, with a track record of high ownership and measurable impact on PLG or consumer product outcomes Deep understanding of product and growth dynamics across activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention Demonstrated ability to turn behavioral data into product hypotheses and carry them from insight through experimentation and measured outcomes Deep experimentation expertise: study design, statistical reasoning, causal inference, and the judgment to know when an experiment has told you what you need to know Experience building analytical systems such as metrics layers, monitoring frameworks, or semantic models that teams can rely on over time An AI-native approach to analysis: you use AI tools actively to accelerate investigation, automate repetitive work, and surface patterns faster A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and product direction through analytical reasoning, clear recommendations, and sound judgment Comfort operating with significant autonomy in ambiguous problem spaces, including determining which questions are most important to answer Strong written and verbal communication skills in distributed environments, with the ability to make complex findings clear and recommendations actionable This Role is a Great Fit If: You're energized by finding the opportunity before anyone thought to ask - proactive discovery is how you naturally work, not a mode you shift into You think like a product person who happens to be exceptionally rigorous with data, not a data person who occasionally weighs in on product You thrive when the problem isn't handed to you - you'd rather define the question worth asking than answer the one that landed in your queue You get excited about building systems that keep working after you've moved on to the next problem You're comfortable making a call with imperfect information and can articulate clearly why you made it You enjoy being a thought partner to senior leaders - shaping how they think about investment and opportunity, not just supporting decisions already made You work well in a remote-first, async environment where written clarity and self-direction matter more than proximity You're drawn to roles where the measure of success is outcomes, decisions made, bets tested, metrics moved, not volume of output produced Applying Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? Please apply anyway! When applying please include: A resume or short listing of your job history & skills (link to a LinkedIn profile would be fine). We appreciate a cover letter explaining why you would enjoy working in this role at Netlify to get to know you a bit better, though this is not required and will not impact your application. Our mission is to “build a better web” and that cannot be done without a diversity of skill sets, backgrounds and thoughts. Of everything we've ever built at Netlify, we are most proud of our team. Netlify is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are devoted to building a team of people with diverse backgrounds and lifestyles. Driving equality empowers our team, enables us to innovate, and helps us maintain a more inclusive environment. We don’t discriminate against employees or applicants based on gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, race, military/veteran status, citizenship, pregnancy status, or any other differences. If we can do anything to provide a better interview, i.e. accommodate a disability, then please let us know by emailing accommodations@netlify.com . About Netlify Netlify is the most popular way to build, deploy, and scale modern web applications, empowering everyone from fast moving solo developers to enterprise teams. We are a Series D company that has raised over $200M from investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Kleiner Perkins, EQT, Bessemer, BOND, and Menlo Ventures. As a fully distributed company, we aim to create a company culture where the best idea can come from anywhere and strive to be thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative in our work. If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, we’re excited to connect with you! At Netlify, we are committed to a compensation philosophy that prioritizes fairness and equity, positions our employee compensation competitively in the market, recognizes and rewards performance, and takes a comprehensive approach to our rewards package. We anchor our compensation philosophy on a market-based approach, therefore salary ranges may differ depending on the labor cost in a particular location. The salary provided is in addition to robust benefits and participation in Netlify’s equity plan. Our hiring range for this role is targeted at $204,000 - $275,000 for most US-based locations. Candidates outside the US or in premium markets should consult with their Talent Acquisition partner regarding location-based ranges, as they may be higher or lower than the average US range listed. The starting pay will be determined based on multiple factors, including expertise and skills, market demands, experience, internal equity, and applicable geographic location. These compensation packages and ranges are subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Location: Remote About the Team Netlify is a product-led growth company, and Revenue Operations owns the systems, data, and infrastructure that turn that growth into revenue. With a large volume of people discovering and signing up for Netlify every day, Marketing Operations is critical to understanding those users, connecting activity across our systems, and creating scalable ways to engage them throughout their journey. As Senior Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll own the operational foundation behind that work. You’ll connect HubSpot, Salesforce, product data, and analytics, build the systems and lifecycle infrastructure that turn signals into action, and give Marketing and our GTM partners trusted visibility into performance. Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Operations, you’ll translate the Marketing Operations vision into a roadmap and independently drive it forward while partnering closely with Growth, RevOps, Data, Product, and other GTM teams. What You’ll Do Execute on the Marketing Operations roadmap, translating broader Marketing and GTM priorities into scalable systems, processes, and programs. Own our marketing automation platform end to end, including workflows, lifecycle stages, segmentation, forms, lists, email operations, data hygiene, deliverability, governance, and documentation. Build and maintain the connection between marketing automation, Salesforce, product data, and analytics so we can understand and engage users throughout the customer journey. Establish reliable attribution and measurement across marketing and product-led journeys, including UTM governance and connections between campaigns, signups, activation, conversion, and revenue. Build reporting and self-service dashboards that give Marketing and GTM partners a trusted view of performance and support weekly, monthly, and executive-level decision-making. Partner with Growth to operationalize lifecycle programs across email, in-product experiences, and sales-assist triggers, turning customer and product signals into scalable journeys from signup through activation and conversion. Build experimentation infrastructure that allows marketers to launch, measure, and learn from tests without requiring engineering support for every experiment. Own the operational health of the MarTech stack, including integrations, data flows, governance, vendor relationships, and periodic assessments of what we should keep, retire, consolidate, or integrate. Establish scalable practices for high-volume email operations, including audience management, domain and inbox health, deliverability, and safeguards that protect the customer experience. Turn large and sometimes ambiguous datasets into actionable recommendations, identifying points of friction or drop-off and partnering with Marketing, Growth, Product, Data, and RevOps on opportunities to improve conversion. Own the Marketing Operations portion of the broader Marketing budget and evaluate technology investments based on business value, scalability, and ROI. Explore emerging capabilities in AI-enabled marketing operations and AI visibility measurement, helping the team establish useful workflows and baselines as the space develops. What You’ll Bring 7+ years of experience in Marketing Operations or a closely related discipline, with experience operating independently in a complex B2B SaaS or product-led growth environment. Deep experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems such as HubSpot, Marketo, Eloqua, and Salesforce, including lifecycle stages, campaign architecture, attribution, lead or account routing, and data governance. Experience working with high-volume customer or prospect datasets and designing segmentation, lifecycle, and operational approaches that remain reliable at scale. Significant experience operating high-volume email programs, with a practical understanding of deliverability, domain and inbox reputation, audience management, warming strategies, and the risks that emerge at large sending volumes. Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate complex datasets, identify meaningful patterns, question the quality of the underlying data, and turn findings into recommendations. Experience building or operating lifecycle, nurture, or in-product engagement programs tied to measurable activation or conversion outcomes. Systems thinking and experience designing integrations across marketing automation, CRM, product, analytics, and data systems. Experience building measurement and experimentation infrastructure that enables other teams to operate and learn independently. Strong GTM fluency and an understanding of how Marketing Operations, Growth, Sales, RevOps, Product, and Customer Success connect to customer experience and revenue. Comfort using AI-enabled tools and workflows to accelerate your work while applying judgment to validate outputs and determine where automation is (and isn’t) appropriate. Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Amplitude and experience with emerging AEO or AI-visibility tooling is helpful. Experience working with contractors, agencies, or distributed partners is helpful but not required. Familiarity with developer tools, web platforms, or another high-volume PLG business is useful, but we value relevant operating experience over category-specific expertise. This Role Is a Great Fit If You enjoy building the foundation, not just operating what someone else has already built. You’re energized by taking an imperfect system and creating something scalable, measurable, and trusted. You’re comfortable moving between architecture and execution. You can define how a system should work and then get into the details yourself when necessary to make it work. You thrive with significant autonomy. Given a goal and context, you investigate the problem, weigh tradeoffs, make a recommendation, and drive the work forward without needing a detailed playbook. You genuinely enjoy data. Large, messy datasets make you curious, and you’re willing to dig until you understand what is happening and what the business should do about it. You care deeply about operational quality. Data integrity, attribution, documentation, audience segmentation, and email deliverability aren’t afterthoughts—they’re part of building a trustworthy growth engine. You balance speed with judgment. You know when to move quickly, when a shortcut creates unacceptable downstream risk, and when to challenge an approach that won’t scale. You see AI as a way to amplify good judgment and increase leverage rather than a substitute for understanding the work. You communicate clearly in an async, distributed environment and can build alignment across Marketing, Growth, Product, Sales, RevOps, and Data without relying on organizational authority. Location: Berlin Workplace: Hybrid OUR STORY: Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence. Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016. ROLE SUMMARY You own the marketing-technology layer behind Taxfix's growth: the conversion signals that tell ad networks who converted, the customer data that powers CRM, the consent flows that decide what we may share and with whom, and the referral program, one of the growth mechanics the team owns end to end. This is a senior individual-contributor role with no direct reports. You set direction for a small engineering team (a tech lead plus 3–4 engineers, two-week sprints) that supports four products across three markets, with Paid Acquisition, CRM, Brand and Creative as internal customers. A typical week mixes debugging a missing ad-network event, scoping a referral reward, settling a data-sharing question with Legal, and explaining trade-offs to leadership. All work, including across markets, happens in English; German is not required. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own conversion-signal engineering for paid acquisition: client-side and server-to-server events into Singular, Firebase/GA4, Google Ads and TikTok, including synthetic events, revenue values and predicted-LTV signals. - Run the referral program as a product: reward mechanics, eligibility and fraud rules, voucher infrastructure (Voucherify), the in-app voucher wallet, entry points, and the experiments that tune them. - Grow push and marketing-consent opt-in through permission primers, iOS/Android OS permission flows and notification preferences. - Keep CRM data trustworthy: Braze attributes and events, Snowflake-to-Braze syncs, event-loss monitoring, and moving legacy messaging (SendGrid, Firebase) onto Braze. - Turn consent and privacy requirements into product behaviour, and work with Legal on what data can go to which partner. - Adapt tracking, CRM attributes and attribution to company launches, such as new subscription pricing tiers, without breaking downstream campaigns or reporting. - Turn stakeholder requests, support escalations and spike findings into tickets engineers can start on, and decide what goes into the sprint. - Weigh roadmap work against platform upkeep: pipeline migrations, security fixes, end-of-life SDKs. - Design A/B tests (Eppo) and read the results for marketing and consent opt-s, and referral changes. - Report progress, risks and trade-offs in writing to marketing leadership, including VP and C-level. MUST-HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Several years as a product manager owning martech, growth infrastructure or data products, setting your own roadmap with senior stakeholders. - Hands-on mobile and web attribution: an MMP (Singular or comparable), server-to-server events, and ad-network conversion setups (Google Ads, TikTok). - Event-tracking depth: you can define an event schema, write a tracking spec, and trace a missing or duplicated event through Segment, Google Tag Manager and the receiving platform. - CRM data platforms, ideally Braze: custom attributes, event-triggered segmentation, data ingestion and sync quality. - Working knowledge of EU consent and privacy: GDPR, consent mode, iOS App Tracking Transparency, and how push permissions behave on iOS and Android. - Experimentation: framing hypotheses, choosing and configuring metrics, judging when a result is real. - Precise writing: specs that engineers (and AI coding agents) can start on without a meeting, and concise updates and decision memos for leadership. - Enough technical fluency to work through trade-offs with engineers across mobile apps (React Native), backend services and data pipelines, and to triage production incidents. NICE TO HAVE - Performance marketing experience with the main app and web acquisition channels (e.g. Google Ads, TikTok). - Referral, loyalty or voucher programs; Voucherify specifically. - Predicted-LTV or value-based bidding signals (e.g. Churney). - Deep linking and deferred deep linking across ad networks. - AI-driven CRM orchestration (Aampe) or creative asset tooling (Frontify, AI creative tagging). - Building AI agents or automation for product and engineering workflows. - Querying data yourself in SQL (Snowflake), and familiarity with dbt and Airflow. WHY TAXFIX? - A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals. - Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions. - A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like. - Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create. - 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours. - A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts. - Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip. - Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible. - Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions. - Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office. Excited? So are we. Check out our Life at Taxfix https://www.linkedin.com/company/taxfix/life/8684512c-424f-44de-8d07-6e6b516e3319/?viewAsMember=true page on LinkedIn to get a glimpse of our culture. At Taxfix, we believe that incredible things happen when you have a wealth of perspectives and experiences. We're proudly committed to equal employment and development opportunities no matter your gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, colour, disability, or place of origin. To help mitigate any potential unconscious biases, we ask that you refrain from including your picture, age, or marital status on your CV. Let your experiences speak for themselves. Not sure if you meet all the requirements for this role? Please apply anyway. You might bring something special to the team that we hadn't considered previously.
-5+ years of professional software engineering, including ownership of production systems rather than isolated features. -Strong SQL Server - T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, indexes and execution plans.

Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. ABOUT US Notion helps you build beautiful tools for your life's work. In today's world of endless apps and tabs, Notion provides one place for teams to get everything done, seamlessly connecting docs, notes, projects, calendar, and email—with AI built in to find answers and automate work. In-person collaboration is essential to Notion's culture. We require all team members to work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, our designated Anchor Days. Certain teams or positions may require additional in-office workdays. ABOUT THE ROLE The Solutions Consultant Manager is the person who makes our GTM motion real on the ground. As an in-region leader directly managing a team of Solutions Consultants, you'll own your team's full commercial output—new logo, expansion, and renewals—and be accountable for both the results and the quality of execution that produces them. This isn't a traditional pipeline-management role. The best SC Managers are coaches first: they know what a great first meeting looks like, can watch a live build and tell a rep exactly what to change, and build the operating rhythm and inspection cadence that makes consistent execution possible across the team. If you're a builder who loves developing people as much as winning deals—and you want to lead a regional team in a go-to-market model that's genuinely new—this is the role. WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE: - Own the commercial performance of your team across new logo ARR, expansion ARR, and UBP outcomes—accountable for both the headline numbers and the quality of execution that drives them - Coach SCs on the GTM builder motion: what great looks like in a first meeting (workflow diagnosis, current → future architecture), a second meeting (live build in Notion + value narrative), and through the full cycle to adoption hand-off - Contribute to and participate in the regional operating cadence: weekly pipeline reviews, deal support sessions, call reviews against the motion quality rubric, and forecast calls with senior leadership - Hire, onboard, and certify new SCs to the GTM builder motion—driving readiness from ramp through consistent execution, and managing performance with clarity when expectations aren't met - Partner with the regional BDR manager on pipeline strategy, outbound targeting, and qualification standards to ensure the team's book of business is healthy and growing - Partner with Outcomes leadership on adoption hand-offs, at-risk account management, and renewal strategy—owning the overall commercial arc for the region while collaborating on the execution that follows close - Represent your team or region in leadership forums with clear signal on what's working, what needs investment, and where execution is breaking down SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING: - Track record as a quota-carrying B2B seller with direct experience in workflow design, live demos, or technical sales—you can coach the builder motion because you've run it yourself - Frontline sales management experience: built an operating cadence, ran performance management, and developed talent from onboarding through consistent overperformance - Strong coaching orientation: you can watch a demo or deal review and identify specifically what to change—not just whether the outcome was good, but why, and what the rep should do differently next time - Commercial instincts at the team level: able to read pipeline health, identify risk early, and drive urgency across a team without micromanaging individual deals - You don't need to be an AI expert, but you have a strong interest in the evolving AI landscape, stay closely attuned to industry trends and developments, and are curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results. - Native or bilingual level fluency Japanese and business-level English proficiency across speaking, listening, and reading, including the ability to support team members with global communication NICE TO HAVES: - Experience selling or managing in a consumption or usage-based business where adoption signals matter as much as closed ARR - Track record building high-performing regional teams from an early stage: hiring to profile, structured onboarding, certification, and performance management - Experience in a shared account ownership model—able to navigate the SC/CSA hand-offs and hold the commercial arc across the full customer lifecycle We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our global employee base to represent the wide diversity of our customers. If you’re excited about a role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every bullet point listed in the job description, we still encourage you to apply. If you’re a builder at heart, share our company values, and enthusiastic about making software toolmaking ubiquitous, we want to hear from you. Notion is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristic. Notion considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. Notion is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures. If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please let your recruiter know. A NOTE ON AI You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on. EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Remote-first and globally distributed, we work with companies like Nasdaq, DoorDash, and Elastic to secure infrastructure for an AI world. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for product-focused systems engineers to work on Teleport Core Product. You will work on problems ranging from performance and scalability, security and networking, to integrations with external systems. You will work on the full product lifecycle from working with customers to understand their problems, writing RFDs for your proposed design, implementing, testing, and documenting. Teleport is an open core project, and most of the code you will write will be open source and written in Go. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Become an expert on scalability, performance, and reliability of Teleport in large deployments. - Design, develop, and ship outstanding, high-quality products. - Write most of the code in Go. - You'll join one of Teleport's access teams. These teams build secure, passwordless access to every kind of infrastructure, using short lived credentials, and it has to work at the scale of our largest customers. - Improve observability, tracing and failure handling so the access layer can be debugged at scale. - Grow your technical expertise. - Lead a distributed team of outstanding engineers. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Willingness to work collaboratively with Teleport's engineers on coding challenge in Go https://github.com/gravitational/careers/blob/main/challenges/systems/challenge-1.md as part of the interview process. - Builder mentality and experience -- you love being hands-on and building zero-to-one products. - Extensive Go experience. - Extensive experience developing scalable, reliable, and performant distributed systems and platforms. - Strong team leadership. - Engineering management experience. - Linux systems engineering experience. - Knowledge of Identity Management, RBAC, ABAC, and zero-trust security models. - Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to master new technologies. - Transparency, honesty, and a no-ego mindset. - Significant contributions in Open Source is a big plus. HOW WE HIRE Our process is designed to be straightforward and respectful of your time. We skip performative rounds and focus on what matters: understanding how you think and what you can do. For this role, we use a take-home challenge that mirrors real work at Teleport — on your time, your way. You'll have support from the team throughout. 1. Zoom meeting with a Teleport recruiter. You’ll learn about the company, our products, compensation philosophy, interview process, and key requirements. 2. Zoom meeting with the Hiring Manager. The Hiring Manager will walk you through the coding challenge and answer your questions. 3. Coding challenge collaboration. The day after your meeting with the Hiring Manager, you join a Slack channel and complete a coding challenge in Go https://github.com/gravitational/careers/blob/main/challenges/systems/challenge-1.md using GitHub. The challenge usually takes about 2 weeks and ends with a Zoom meeting with the Hiring Manager and a member of the interview team to review your solution. 4. If your challenge solution meets our bar, you'll receive an offer to join Teleport. Why Teleport You're joining a company where the problem is real, the team is small, and your work shows up directly in the product. We're not a big company, you won't get lost in a crowd. You'll have the freedom and autonomy to do what you're great at, alongside teammates who care about doing it right and want to see you succeed. The work is collaborative, there's real room to grow, and the mission is one worth showing up for. Remote-first and globally distributed, we're genuinely passionate about what we're building. The Benefits At Teleport, we believe your career is more important than a list of perks. That's why we focus on making your day-to-day the best it can be — giving you the autonomy, access, and support to do the best work of your career. - Extensive health coverage - Annual expense budget - Rest and recovery policies that maximize your ability to recharge - Investment in your future with retirement savings plans - Professional development opportunities Teleport is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant on the basis of age, color, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any classifications protected by federal, state, or local law. This work sits across four hard technical domains: payments, security, real-time voice, and LLMs. Voice is the core challenge. A caller speaks or types a card number in a live, low-latency audio stream, and the digits must never reach the model, while the model stays on the call. Sierra owns every system that touches card data, and one small team owns it end to end across three workstreams: Platform, Product, and Safety & Integrity. Customers keep their own telephony and payment gateways. Payments is live in production for some of the largest consumer enterprises, on a platform that handles hundreds of millions of calls a year. The platform is certified to PCI DSS Level 1. - Build real-time card capture for voice: intercept keypad and spoken digits in a live audio stream, upstream of the agent runtime in a network-segmented environment, while the LLM stays live on the call. Make it work across every telephony provider and protocol Sierra supports. - Build and extend the tokenization platform: agents receive and send short-lived tokens, and the platform swaps a token for the real value only when it calls the customer's payment gateway. - Own the payments egress control plane: every destination for card data is approved, versioned with the agent release, and enforced by infrastructure below the application, not by convention. - Make payment actions correct: an at-most-once action primitive in the Agent SDK, validated amounts and items, and monitoring that compares what the agent said about a payment with what really happened. - Keep card data out of places it should not be: deterministic detection in the agent's hot path that catches what general-purpose models miss. No LLM, including any we build ourselves, ever sees a plaintext card number. - Make payments self-serve: one payments API across Agent Studio, the Agent SDK, and Ghostwriter, Sierra's agent-building agent; gateway middleware that developers write against tokens; and support for single-tenant and customer-cloud deployments. Any team can add payments to an agent without a payments engineer in the loop. - Grow the platform beyond cards: extend tokenization into a privacy vault for all PII. WHAT YOU'LL BRING - 5+ years building backend, platform, or infrastructure systems, with a track record of shipping and operating high-reliability services in production. - A deep security instinct. You design as though every component will eventually be compromised, and you reason naturally about blast radius, least privilege, and making bad states impossible rather than reacting to them. - Rigor about correctness under failure: retries, idempotency, at-most-once behavior, and clear handling of timeouts and unclear results from external systems. - Fluency in a systems language (we use Go) and comfort owning critical systems end to end, from design through production and on-call. - Range and ownership. You like a small team with broad scope, you build clean abstractions over messy external systems, and you're never satisfied solving a problem once per customer. - Clear communication. You can explain a design or a risk to other engineering teams and to non-engineers. - Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. You don't need payments experience. The engineers who built this platform came from backend, infrastructure, and security work, not payments. We care more about how you build correct, secure systems than about the word "payments" on your resume. EVEN BETTER… - Real-time or streaming systems: voice, telephony, media, or low-latency pipelines. - Applied cryptography and key management, network isolation, egress control, or cloud security. - Platforms other engineering teams build on, such as APIs, SDKs, and self-serve developer services. - Deployments into customer-owned clouds or single-tenant environments. - Customer-facing technical work, such as architecture reviews with customers. - Setting technical direction on ambiguous, high-stakes problems. - Payments, fintech, or another sensitive-data domain such as healthcare or identity. OUR VALUES - Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work. - Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones.
