Location: United States (Remote) Workplace: Remote About Teleport Don't wait for the future of infrastructure. Be part of it. Teleport is the AI Infrastructure Identity Company. We're solving one of the hardest problems in security: giving every human, machine, workload, and AI agent a cryptographically secured identity, improving engineering velocity while maintaining security. We make trusted computing simple. This gives you the freedom, power, and autonomy to build and innovate with confidence. Remote-first and globally distributed, we work with companies like Nasdaq, DoorDash, and Elastic to secure infrastructure for an AI world. ABOUT THE ROLE We are adding a Senior Financial Analyst to the Strategic Finance team to expand our FP&A capacity and give us deeper coverage across the business. You will own corporate FP&A and the consolidated three-statement view, partner directly with Customer Success and G&A leaders, and provide a perspective on go-to-market (GTM) planning. You will also help us stress-test the assumptions behind our plans and key metrics. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Corporate FP&A: Own the three-statement financial consolidation (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Sync the long-range plan with the detailed financial operating plan and monthly actuals load. - Monthly close: Participate in and review the monthly close, working with Accounting to make sure the numbers tie out and the story behind them is clear. - Business partnering: Serve as the finance partner to Customer Success and to G&A functions (HR, Recruiting, Finance, Legal, IT, Biz Ops), supporting budget owners with planning, headcount, spend tracking, and decision support. - Board and investor reporting: Build and maintain board decks, investor updates, and other leadership deliverables. - Equity plan forecasting: Forecast equity plan usage and dilution, and support related analysis. - Corporate valuation support: Support valuation work, including model inputs and analysis. - Team coverage: Provide backup and redundancy across the team's workstreams so that no process depends on a single person. - Tools and process improvement: Help implement and optimize FP&A and AI tools, and look for ways to automate and improve how the team works. - Executive partnership: Work directly with senior leadership and budget owners as a trusted, independent finance voice. WHAT YOU WILL BRING - 8+ years of progressive finance experience, most recently with 5+ years in FP&A and 2+ years owning P&L forecasting and executive reporting at a growth-stage SaaS company. - 3-statement financial planning, including integrated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting. - SaaS GTM motion, including how pipeline, bookings, and IARR/ARR connect. - Pricing and margin analysis, such as modeling how pricing and packaging changes affect bookings, gross margin, and unit economics. - Lead-to-cash process, including how billing, collections, and revenue recognition flow into ARR, deferred revenue, and cash forecasts. - CFA charterholder, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or Big 4 audit experience is a plus but not required. TECHNICAL SKILLS - Deep working knowledge of standard SaaS metrics (CAC payback, burn multiple, magic number, Rule of 40, net and gross retention), including how to calculate them, what drives them, and how plan assumptions move them. - Advanced financial modeling skills, ideally in Google Sheets as well as Excel. You design driver-based models from scratch, with assumptions you can trace and defend, rather than only updating existing ones. - Hands-on experience pulling and reconciling data across systems (ERP, CRM, planning tools), and a track record of using or testing AI tools to speed up finance work. HOW YOU WORK - You possess a strong sense of intellectual curiosity and professional ethics. - Demonstrated self-initiative: you spot problems and fix them without being asked. - You operate independently, with a continuous improvement mindset. - You communicate clearly with non-finance partners and senior leaders. - You fit Teleport's culture and behaviors, and you do well in a fast-moving startup environment. Why Teleport You're joining a company where the problem is real, the team is small, and your work shows up directly in the product. We're not a big company, you won't get lost in a crowd. You'll have the freedom and autonomy to do what you're great at, alongside teammates who care about doing it right and want to see you succeed. The work is collaborative, there's real room to grow, and the mission is one worth showing up for. Remote-first and globally distributed, we're genuinely passionate about what we're building. The Benefits At Teleport, we believe your career is more important than a list of perks. That's why we focus on making your day-to-day the best it can be — giving you the autonomy, access, and support to do the best work of your career. - Extensive health coverage - Annual expense budget - Rest and recovery policies that maximize your ability to recharge - Investment in your future with retirement savings plans - Professional development opportunities Teleport is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant on the basis of age, color, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any classifications protected by federal, state, or local law. About the Role: As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Teleport, you will own the full sales cycle for mid-sized organizations looking to secure their infrastructure in an AI-driven world. Teleport unifies identity across humans, machines, workloads, and AI agents — replacing fragmented, credential-based access with a hardware-rooted, cryptographic identity layer that scales zero trust across cloud and on-prem environments. You'll work closely with Sales Engineering, Account Development and Marketing to identify, qualify, and close new business, building a repeatable, high-velocity motion across a defined territory or vertical. This role is ideal for a driven, autonomous seller who thrives on prospecting and closing deals in a fast-paced, high-growth environment — while helping customers eliminate credential sprawl, reduce identity-based attack surface, and prepare their infrastructure for the demands of agentic AI. 225 000 – 300 000 $
Location: United States (Remote); San Francisco Bay Area, CA; Seattle, WA Workplace: Remote About Teleport Don't wait for the future of infrastructure. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for our first Data Engineer to build Teleport's internal data platform. You will design and own the pipelines and warehouse that turn raw data from across the company, including product usage, production costs, budgets, and sales, into data that any team can use to answer their own questions. You will work closely with teams across the company, including product, engineering, finance, and revenue, to understand their data needs and deliver reliable, well-modeled data they can depend on. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design and operate a low-maintenance cloud data warehouse and transformation workflow. - Evaluate managed connectors, source exports, and native cloud services before building custom ingestion software. - Model data from CRM, contracts, finance, billing, product usage, and cloud infrastructure into coherent business entities and metrics. - Establish canonical customer identity and mappings between accounts, tenants, billing entities, and other source-specific identifiers. - Partner with Finance, Revenue, Product, and Engineering to define concepts such as ARR, adoption, infrastructure cost, and gross margin. - Build data quality checks, reconciliation, documentation, lineage, and observable failure behavior into the system. - Protect customer and employee information through appropriate access control, minimization, redaction, and retention practices. - Manage warehouse performance and cost, and keep the platform understandable and operable by a small team. - Use Python or Go for integrations that cannot be handled safely and economically by managed or warehouse-native capabilities. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Willingness to work collaboratively with Teleport's engineers on Data Engineering Challenge https://github.com/gravitational/careers/blob/main/challenges/data-engineer/challenge-1.md to design and build an analytics warehouse for a fictional business. - Builder mentality; experience building a data engineering function from scratch at a growing startup is highly desirable. - Strong SQL and dimensional or analytical data-modeling expertise. - Experience translating ambiguous stakeholder questions into documented, testable business definitions. - Production experience with dbt or an equivalent SQL transformation workflow. - Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery. - Experience with managed ELT, APIs, object storage, incremental loading, and source schema evolution. - Strong data-quality and reconciliation practices, including explaining how published numbers relate to their sources. - Experience handling sensitive data, access control, and retention responsibly. - Practical experience with Python or Go, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud operations. - Sound judgment about build vs. buy decisions, operational simplicity, and managing scope in a startup environment. - Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to master new technologies. - Comfortable changing the area of focus and working directly with stakeholders across the company. - No-ego mindset of collaboration, transparency, and seeking feedback from others. HOW WE HIRE Our process is designed to be straightforward and respectful of your time. We skip performative rounds and focus on what matters: understanding how you think and what you can do. For this role, we use a take-home challenge that mirrors real work at Teleport — on your time, your way. You'll have support from the team throughout. 1. Zoom meeting with a Teleport recruiter. You’ll learn about the company, our products, compensation philosophy, interview process, and key requirements. 2. Zoom meeting with the Hiring Manager. The Hiring Manager will walk you through the data engineering challenge and answer your questions. 3. Challenge collaboration. The day after your meeting with the Hiring Manager, you join a Slack channel and complete a Data Engineering Challenge https://github.com/gravitational/careers/blob/main/challenges/data-engineer/challenge-1.md using GitHub. The challenge usually takes about 2 weeks and ends with a Zoom meeting with the Hiring Manager and a member of the interview team to review your solution. 4. If your challenge solution meets our bar, you'll receive an offer to join Teleport. Why Teleport You're joining a company where the problem is real, the team is small, and your work shows up directly in the product. We're not a big company, you won't get lost in a crowd. You'll have the freedom and autonomy to do what you're great at, alongside teammates who care about doing it right and want to see you succeed. Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA Workplace: Remote About Teleport Don't wait for the future of infrastructure. ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Field Account Development Executive at Teleport, you will own engagement with the accounts that matter most to our business in your metro. Teleport unifies identity across humans, machines, workloads, and AI agents — replacing fragmented, credential-based access with a hardware-rooted, cryptographic identity layer that scales zero trust across cloud and on-prem environments. You'll work closely with Field Marketing, Partner, Demand Gen, and the Account Executives who carry your accounts to build presence and pipeline in a single city, pairing multi-channel outbound with a heavy in-person motion across meetups, conferences, partner activations, and Teleport-hosted events. Instead of a sequence and a dial target, you'll be given a fixed book, a territory budget, an events calendar, a warm-path map, and the latitude to decide how all of it gets used. This role is ideal for a self-directed relationship builder who wants to become a field seller — someone who treats a city as a territory to be earned rather than a list to be worked. Expect to be in the field regularly, typically a couple of evenings a week and more during conference weeks. Reaching people has never been easier; earning their trust has never been harder. That harder part is the job, and it happens face to face. WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Own and quarterback the development of a fixed book of named enterprise and mid-market accounts in your metro, in partnership with the AEs who carry them - Build and defend a point of view on each account: who the buying committee is, what they care about, where the entry point is, and what the next three touches should be - Show up. Attend and work the meetups, happy hours, conferences, partner events, and Teleport-hosted events in your territory. Become a known face in your city's infrastructure and security community - Create reasons to engage that aren't a meeting request — event invitations, gifting, relevant third-party content, community connections, local activations - Map warm paths into your accounts using our customer, alumni, and employee networks, and drive the referral ask to completion, including directing the AE on when and how to make it - Run multi-channel outbound (phone, email, LinkedIn) against the buying committee, with real personalization rather than volume - Work with Field Marketing on which events are worth sponsoring in your metro, and with our Partner team on co-marketing opportunities that reach your 50 - Convert in-person contact into structured next steps: AE meetings, executive conversations, technical deep dives - Log every touch in Salesforce and Outreach so account progression is visible and creditable - Present a monthly account review: what you've done across the 50, what worked, what you're doing next, and where you need air support - Use our intent, buying-committee, and enrichment tooling — including AI-assisted research and account planning — to decide where to spend your week WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: - Based in your metro. You live in San Francisco Bay Area and can be in the field on short notice. This role is not remote-anywhere - Experienced: 3+ years in a role where you built relationships and pipeline in a defined territory. That could be account development against enterprise or mid-market named accounts, field or event marketing, community or developer relations, partner development, or field sales. What matters is that you've worked named accounts rather than lists, and that you've done it with real people in real rooms - A field animal: You would rather be at a happy hour with forty engineers than on your ninth call of the morning. You are comfortable walking into a room where you know nobody and leaving with three conversations worth following up - Self-directed: You are given a goal and a budget, not a playbook. You decide what to build. You bring ideas rather than waiting for a program - Technically curious: You can hold a credible conversation with platform, infrastructure, and security engineers about the problems they have. You don't need to be an engineer; you do need to be genuinely interested - Relationship-first: You measure your work in trust built, not touches logged — while still logging the touches - Tool-fluent: You are fast with modern GTM tooling and AI assistants, and you'd rather build your own leverage than file a request - Ambitious: You want to be a field seller. This role is the on-ramp Why Teleport You're joining a company where the problem is real, the team is small, and your work shows up directly in the product. We're not a big company, you won't get lost in a crowd. You'll have the freedom and autonomy to do what you're great at, alongside teammates who care about doing it right and want to see you succeed.
