CloudLinux is transforming the Linux infrastructure market by ensuring security and stability for over 500,000 servers worldwide. Our products - CloudLinux OS and Imunify360 - are the de facto standard in the hosting industry and Enterprise segment.
We are seeking a visionary engineer to lead the evolution of our data platform. In 2025, we are shifting from classic database administration to an Internal Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) model. We need a specialist who doesn’t just "configure backups," but designs resilient distributed systems, writes code to automate infrastructure, and transforms databases into a reliable service for product teams.
If you are tired of endless tickets and want to build platforms capable of processing petabytes of data, this role is for you.
Your Challenges & Responsibilities:
DBaaS Architecture:
Design and implement a self-service platform based on
Terraform
and
Ansible
, enabling the deployment of HA clusters (PostgreSQL and ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redis) in a heterogeneous environment (Bare Metal + OpenNebula + Kubernetes + Public Clouds). You will turn infrastructure into a product.
Scaling ClickHouse:
Manage exponentially growing analytics clusters (12+ clusters, tens of terabytes of data). You will tackle sharding, table engine optimization (ReplicatedMergeTree), and building reliable S3 backup pipelines under high load.
Data Platform & Analytics Support:
Maintain and scale the infrastructure for Apache Airflow and Redash. You will ensure the reliability of ETL pipelines and visualization tools, bridging the gap between raw infrastructure and the data analytics team.
Reliability as Code:
Implement SRE practices in data management. Replace manual incident response with automated self-healing mechanisms. Define and implement SLO/SLI for all databases.
Stack Modernization:
Lead the migration process from legacy solutions to modern cloud patterns. Participate in decision-making regarding the implementation of Kubernetes operators for stateful workloads.
Expertise & Mentorship:
Serve as the technical authority for product teams, helping them optimize data schemas and SQL queries for high-load systems.

Automation & IaC:
Terraform, Ansible, Python/Go, GitLab, Jenkins, Gerrit.
Observability
: VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Loki.
Why CloudLinux?
Culture:
A Remote-first company with an "Employees First" principle. We value results, not hours in the office.
Impact:
Your architectural decisions will determine the stability of services used by thousands of companies around the world.
Growth:
We support professional development and pay for training and conferences.
Requirements
What We Expect From You:
AI-Augmented Engineering:
You don't view AI as a replacement for deep technical fundamentals, but as a high-leverage tool. We actively use AI agents (Claude, Codex, Gemini, etc.) to automate boilerplate, analyze complex logs, and speed up research. We expect you to be open to modern workflows and integrate AI into your day-to-day operations, allowing you to focus your brainpower on the true architectural challenges.
Deep PostgreSQL Expertise (5+ years):
You know MVCC internals, understand locking mechanics, can configure Patroni and PgBouncer "with your eyes closed," and have experience with seamless major version upgrades under load.
ClickHouse Mastery:
Experience operating large clusters, understanding ZooKeeper/ClickHouse Keeper, sharding, replication internals, and the ability to diagnose performance issues at the data-part level.
Engineering Mindset (SRE/DevOps):
You hate doing the same task twice by hand. Experience writing complex Terraform modules and Ansible roles is mandatory. Programming skills in
Python
or
Go
for automation are a huge plus.
Hybrid Environment Experience:
You understand the differences between running DBs on Bare Metal vs. Kubernetes vs. Cloud and know how to optimize TCO and disk subsystem performance (NVMe, Network Storage).
Systems Approach:
You see the big picture - from the network packet to the application business logic. You understand the importance of security (FIPS, Audit logs) and Disaster Recovery.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
THE ROLE
We're building AI-native development practices into how this team works at a foundational level. That means infrastructure design needs to account for a new kind of collaborator: AI agents that generate, deploy, and operate software. The Senior Software Engineer, Billing on this team will keep systems running, help define what safe, observable, AI-assisted infrastructure operations look like in practice, and model that standard for the rest of the team.
_______________________________________________________________________
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
The Billing Platform Engineering team owns the systems that make Docker's commercial model real. You'll work on problems like:
- How do we design infrastructure that makes AI-generated deployments safe to ship and easy to roll back?
- How do we instrument billing systems so that failures — billing miscalculations, entitlement gaps, payment errors — are detected immediately and unambiguously?
- How do we build infrastructure that scales with usage-based billing workloads without manual intervention?
- How do we make the developer experience on this team faster and more reliable — local environments, CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling?_______________________________________________________________________
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and evolve the infrastructure supporting Billing Platform services: compute, storage, networking, CI/CD, and observability
- Design and maintain IaC (Terraform) for billing system infrastructure on AWS; contribute to module patterns and standards for the team
- Build and own observability systems — metrics, logging, alerting — with a focus on billing accuracy and payment reliability
- Implement deployment patterns and runbooks that work well in an AI-agent-assisted development workflow: clear rollback procedures, safe promotion gates, automated validation
- Partner with software engineers on service design — bringing infrastructure constraints and operational requirements into the conversation before code is written
- Identify systemic risks in the team's systems and drive improvements, including work that reaches into adjacent teams or services
- Participate in incident response for billing system issues. This role may require participation in an on-call rotation to provide support outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Mentor engineers on the team; your technical judgment should help raise the bar for how the team builds and operates
_______________________________________________________________________
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years in platform, infrastructure, or SRE roles supporting production SaaS systems at scale
- Strong AWS expertise: ECS or EKS, RDS (Postgres preferred), networking, IAM, cost management — you've operated these systems under real load and real incidents
- Strong Terraform skills; you've built reusable module patterns and can improve the ones a team relies on
- Experience building and owning observability stacks (Datadog, Grafana, or similar) for production services — not just using them
- Strong familiarity with CI/CD systems — Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent — including pipeline design and developer experience
- Kubernetes at an operational and architectural level
- A track record of identifying systemic risks and driving improvements within your team and adjacent systems
- Security-first mindset: threat modeling, blast radius analysis, least-privilege by default, audit trails as a design requirement
- Strong written English; clear written communication is how you scale your work across the team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
ON-CALL
Operational ownership is part of the job. You’ll join the rotation after onboarding and shadowing, and help improve on-call itself: better alerts, stronger runbooks, less toil, and blameless postmortems aimed at prevention.
WHAT SETS YOU APART
You don't wait for problems to be handed to you — you find them, frame them, and drive the solution. You've operated at a scope where your decisions affected the systems your team owns, and you know how to build alignment and move work forward without direct authority. You've thought seriously about what infrastructure needs to look like when AI agents are generating and shipping code — safe deployment patterns, strong observability, clean rollback — and you want to help define that standard here. Experience with billing, payments, or financial systems infrastructure is a meaningful plus.
_______________________________________________________________________
WHAT TO EXPECT
First 30 days
You will ship code in your first week. We run an agent-first development workflow — infrastructure changes start with a plan, specifications are written before generation, and every change is reviewed before it merges — and onboarding is no exception. You will get hands-on with the infrastructure supporting Billing Platform services early, shadow on-call, and build a clear picture of the system before you start making bigger changes. By the end of 30 days you will have shipped real work and know where the most important problems are.
First 90 days
You will have taken ownership of one or more infrastructure components and delivered an improvement from design to production with measurable impact. You will be an active participant in deployment and reliability discussions, bringing infrastructure constraints and operational requirements into the conversation early — before code is written. You will be a full participant in the on-call rotation and will be contributing to the team's technical direction.
One year outlook
You will be one of the team's go-to engineers on billing infrastructure. You will have driven meaningful improvements to observability, deployment safety, or platform reliability — and your work will be directly visible in the resilience and correctness of systems that handle real financial transactions for millions of Docker users. You will have helped define what AI-agent-assisted infrastructure operations look like done right.
Visa sponsorship: Docker considers visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis based on business needs.
_______________________________________________________________________
COMPENSATION & EQUITY
All full-time roles include equity. Final compensation is determined on factors including but not limited to experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
United States: $160,900 – $260,700 base
______________________________________________________________________

Metabase is the easiest way for people to get insights from their data, from tiny startups who get up and running quickly to major corporations with tens of thousands of users. That's why people love us.
We bring data tools with the elegance and simplicity of consumer products to the crufty world of enterprise business intelligence. We provide an opinionated open source starting point for how companies should measure, analyze and share their data, which is used by tens of thousands of companies.
Our engineering team of ~70 people is fully distributed across the globe, and we work hard to build an async-friendly, shipping-focused engineering culture.
About the Role
We're seeking CI Engineers to join our engineering team and help keep our testing and release infrastructure healthy, fast, and reliable. This is a critical role — our CI and testing systems are complex, deeply relied upon, and continuously evolving.
You won't be writing product features, and you won't be expected to author new test coverage. Instead, your job is to own the health and reliability of our CI systems end to end. That means supporting the engineers who are writing tests, but it also means taking initiative — spotting problems before they become outages, identifying patterns in flakiness before they erode confidence in the test suite, and proactively improving the release process rather than waiting for things to break. We want someone who feels a genuine sense of ownership over these systems and acts accordingly.
This is a great role for a self-directed engineer who takes pride in the reliability of the infrastructure others depend on, and who can both identify problems as well as solve them.
What You'll Do
Own and proactively improve our GitHub Actions-based CI pipelines
— not just fixing what breaks, but anticipating bottlenecks and reliability issues before they impact the team
Triage and resolve flaky tests
across a large, multi-layered test suite spanning unit, integration, and end-to-end tests — identifying systemic patterns, not just one-off fixes
Support ongoing releases
and take ownership of improving the release process over time
Act as a first responder to emergent CI infrastructure issues,
diagnosing and resolving them quickly and independently
Support product engineers
who are writing tests using Cypress, Jest, and our home-grown Clojure-based test frameworks
Manage test infrastructure
across a wide matrix of databases — we test against nearly all major transactional and analytical cloud databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and more
Document and communicate
clearly and asynchronously across a globally distributed team — and keep the broader engineering team informed about the state of CI health without being asked, as well as communicating and demonstrating best practices.
What We're Looking For
Demonstrated experience working with CI/CD systems in a professional engineering environment — you don't need to be a 10-year veteran, but you need to have done this work, done it well, and owned it
A proactive, ownership-driven mindset — you notice things that are heading in the wrong direction and fix them without waiting to be asked
The independence to manage your own priorities and operate effectively without close supervision across a globally distributed team
Solid understanding of GitHub Actions or comparable CI platforms
Experience with JavaScript testing tools, particularly Cypress and/or Jest
Comfort with containerization (Docker) — our database test matrix depends on it
Solid shell scripting skills (Bash)
Experience diagnosing and fixing flaky tests in large test suites
Strong async written communication skills — this is a remote-first, globally distributed team
Curiosity and a systematic approach to debugging unfamiliar systems
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Clojure and TypeScript
Experience testing against or operating cloud data warehouses or analytical databases
Experience building and supporting software release pipelines
Why This Role
You'll have real ownership over systems that directly affect the productivity of a 70-person engineering team
You'll work on infrastructure that supports widely used open source software
Fully remote, any timezone — we're serious about async-first culture
You'll have the autonomy to identify and drive improvements rather than just work a ticket queue
Compensation
The US base salary range for this role is $116K–$213K annually, plus equity and benefits.
Compensation is determined by role, level, location, and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, and scope of responsibility. Pay may vary by geographic location and other job-related factors.
Benefits
We offer meaningful equity and a comprehensive US benefits package, including fully employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance (with 75% coverage for dependents), a 401(k) with employer match available to enroll after the first 30 days, flexible and unlimited paid time off including sick time, and an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
We're a global team (50% outside the US), fully distributed (from Thailand to California), who get things done asynchronously, with plenty of uninterrupted time, supporting each other to do the best work of our careers. We offer flexibility (define your own schedule and work from wherever you want), autonomy, and an environment that fosters growth, learning, and development. We're relentlessly user-focused and believe in building long-term value, not short-term hacks. And we raised a $30M Series B to take our approach to the next level for years to come.
For U.S. applicants: Metabase participates in the federal E-Verify program, which confirms employment authorization of newly hired U.S. based employees. E-Verify is not used as a tool to pre-screen candidates and is only initiated upon hire.

We’re looking for exceptional Technical Product Leads to help shape what we build and why.
This is a highly technical, user-focused product role for people who want to work closely with both customers and builders to influence product direction. The scope will evolve with the product and team.
What you'll do
Talk directly to customers to understand how they use the product and where it falls short
Build a deep understanding of user workflows, especially in data-heavy environments
Identify and clearly define the most important problems to solve
Turn those insights into clear proposals for product direction
Move across engineering teams, focusing on where context is most useful
Work closely with engineers and design to shape solutions and tradeoffs
Bring clarity to ambiguous problems so teams can move quickly and make good decisions
How this role fits
Product is led directly by our CEO. You’ll work closely with him, along with engineering and design leadership, to shape direction and priorities.
Technical Product Leads contribute to roadmap discussions and help guide what gets built through strong problem definition and customer insight. Engineering Managers plan and execute the work.
What we’re looking for
Strong technical foundation (e.g., engineering or similarly technical experience)
Hands-on experience working with data tools (e.g., querying, modeling, or building with data)
Ability to understand user needs and translate them into clear problem definitions
Strong product judgment - what’s worth solving, what isn’t, and why
Comfortable working closely with engineers on feasibility and tradeoffs
Able to operate with high judgment in ambiguous environments
Clear thinker and communicator, especially when simplifying complex ideas
You should be able to quickly build context, form strong opinions, and contribute at a high level.
Additional strengths
Experience working on data-heavy or technical products
Experience building or leading complex projects or initiatives
Track record of taking ownership and operating with autonomy
Compensation
The US base salary range for this role is $102K–$200K annually, plus equity and benefits.

🤖 WHO WE ARE
We’re building Mo — a health companion for everyone.
We’re a small team within Alan, on a mission to redefine the future of care by democratizing access to medical expertise. We are building Mo, an intelligent, empathetic, multimodal LLM-based conversational AI assistant able to prescribe, triage, and proactively follow up on care.
Imagine giving every person in the world instant, 24/7 access to personalised medical expertise - through chat, voice, or video. That’s what we are building 🤖.
We kicked off the project in 2023, and we have launched Mo to all our french members (1M) in Q1 2026, making it the first safe AI health companion live at scale in Europe.
🚀 WHAT KEEPS US UP AT NIGHT
We’re building a medical agent that works — reliably, safely, and at scale.
You’ll work at the intersection of product engineering, ML engineering, and medical expertise. Our mission is to build the most accurate and reliable medical agent in the world, while delivering an outstanding conversational experience. Things we’re working on:
- 💬 Deliver the most memorable chatting experience — You’ll work on making Mo the obvious choice when it comes to asking a health question. It means having a world-class snappy and delightful chatting experience, blazing fast time to answer, and rich content shared.
- 🧱 Integrate Mo with Alan services and our healthcare system — You’ll work on integrating Mo with our other services (digital chat with HP, map of physical location of HPs, tailored prevention programs, …) to help members get from words to actions.
- ➕ Extend our architecture to support the next chapters of Mo — You’ll work on our architecture, and agentic framework, to support Mo’s next needs (get more context, use new skills, be accessible in other countries we operate in)
If you’re excited by the idea of building the future of healthcare, this is the team for you - we're at the start of the journey. If you’re curious, here https://arxiv.org/abs/2411.12808 is a paper we published recently.
🎯 IS IT YOU WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for Product engineers with 3+ years of experience who get excited about building state-of-the-art AI systems and applying them to real-world, high-stakes problems in healthcare.
- You’ll work at the frontier of LLMs, multi-agent architectures, and human-in-the-loop learning — and see your work deployed in production, helping real people.
- You’ll implement new capabilities for Mo, working across engineering, data, and medical expertise
- You'll have deep product ownership over the use cases supported in Mo, making sure we actually help our members get and stay better.
- You’ll have significant influence on system architecture and code quality
- You’ll mentor engineers, contribute to our product & engineering culture, and help build the team (including participating in hiring, shaping our interview loops, etc.).
You would be a good fit in Mo if most of this sounds like you:
- Applied background in software engineering and systems architecture
- Experience with traditional ML, or LLMs, or ML dev ops is a big plus.
- Product-minded: you want your solutions to be used, and impactful
- Self-directed, pragmatic, driven, hard working
- Humble and still willing to grow (no matter your seniority!)
- Collaborative, enthusiastic about teamwork, learning, and teaching
- Fluent in English (no need to speak French!)
- Ex-founders are typically great fit in our team
But above all, we are looking for high potential and curiosity: make sure to show us this when you apply! Everything else is a bonus.
🤘 HOW WE DO IT ?
We benefit from Alan’s platform, infrastructure, distribution, and health expertise — but operate with the speed and focus of a startup. ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
THE ROLE:
We’re looking for an Infrastructure Security Engineer to design and secure the core systems that power our platform. This role focuses on building security directly into our infrastructure: from container isolation and orchestration to identity and secrets management in a multi-tenant, cloud-native environment.
You’ll work closely with engineering teams to define secure primitives and ensure our platform is resilient, scalable, and trustworthy by design.
This is a hands-on, deeply technical role focused on real systems, not compliance or policy.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
Platform & Runtime Security
- Design and improve isolation mechanisms for multi-tenant workloads (containers, sandboxing, execution environments)
- Strengthen boundaries between customers, workloads, and internal systems
- Identify and mitigate risks in distributed, dynamic compute environments
Container & Orchestration Security
- Secure and harden containerized workloads and orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes or similar)
- Improve workload isolation, scheduling boundaries, and runtime protections
- Evaluate tradeoffs in multi-tenant execution models
Identity & Access Management
- Design and improve authentication and authorization systems across services
- Implement strong service-to-service identity and least-privilege access patterns
- Improve access controls across infrastructure and internal systems
Secrets & Key Management
- Build and maintain systems for securely managing secrets, tokens, and credentials
- Improve rotation, auditing, and access controls
- Reduce secret sprawl and integrate secure patterns into developer workflows
Cloud & Infrastructure Security
- Secure cloud environments across providers (AWS, GCP, etc.) with a focus on consistency and portability
- Improve network boundaries, service segmentation, and access controls
- Embed security into infrastructure-as-code and deployment systems
Engineering Partnership
- Work closely with product and infrastructure teams to design secure systems from the ground up
- Review architecture and code for security risks and provide actionable guidance
- Identify patterns in risks and drive cross-cutting improvements
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
Core Experience
- You have experience securing cloud-native infrastructure and distributed systems in production
- You have a background in infrastructure, backend, or security engineering
- You’ve worked in multi-tenant or high-scale environments
Technical Depth
- You have a strong understanding of containerization and orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes or similar)
- You’ve designed or secured isolation mechanisms in multi-tenant systems
- You have a solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and service identity models
- You have experience with secrets management and secure handling of credentials
- You have a strong foundation in networking concepts (segmentation, service communication, access boundaries)
Mindset
- You have a builder mentality: you design and implement, not just review
- You take a pragmatic approach to security in fast-moving environments
- You’re comfortable working deeply with engineers and influencing system design
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience with sandboxing or runtime isolation technologies (e.g., gVisor, Firecracker, seccomp, or similar)
- Familiarity with kernel-level or low-level isolation primitives
- Experience securing Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems in production
- Background in developer infrastructure, compute platforms, or multi-tenant systems
