ABOUT SENTRY
Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building.
Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Sentry already sees the moment software breaks: the error, the trace, the replay, the commit that caused it. Seer, our AI debugger, uses all of that to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. We're looking for a Staff engineer to help decide how that system should evolve as models improve every few months. Some of what we build today will be obsolete by next spring. Part of the job is knowing which parts, and building the rest to last.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Build state-of-the-art agentic AI systems to triage, debug, and solve real production issues
- Set technical direction for how our agents get context, use tools, and decide when they're done
- Build the evals that tell us whether a new model or prompt actually helped, fast enough that people use them
- Decide when to use a frontier model, a smaller one, or one we trained, and revisit that as cost and capability shift
- Leverage Sentry’s novel (and massive) dataset of errors, spans, and profiles
- Own major AI initiatives end to end, alongside the developers and product teams shipping them
- Run what you ship in production and debug it with Sentry
YOU'LL LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU
- Are driven by impact and enjoy working on high-stakes, high-visibility projects
- Enjoy building things. You will have the opportunity to join the AI/ML team as one of its foundational members
- Thrive in cross-functional teams and enjoy building features alongside developers and product teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- You've shipped an LLM-backed system people depended on, and can tell us what broke
- You have strong opinions on agent design and have changed at least one in the last year
- You've trained or fine-tuned models when it was the right call, and you know when it isn't
- You write solid production Python
- You've owned a system or component and led work across multiple engineers and teams, with a design doc people actually read
- You write clear technical documentation, mentor other engineers, and present to technical audiences

Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
A strong and reliable platform is essential to scaling Sentry for the future. Our Platform organization is responsible for everything that powers Sentry, from cloud infrastructure and streaming systems to storage, deployment, and security. We own the core services and technical foundations that enable every product and engineering team at Sentry to move fast and build with confidence.
We’re looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to set technical direction across Sentry’s Platform organization and lead engineering work spanning infrastructure, streaming, and storage.
Reporting directly to the VP of Platform Engineering, you’ll partner with engineering and product leaders to identify where our platform needs to evolve, make architectural decisions across team boundaries, and lead those changes through production delivery. You’ll stay hands-on through system design, prototyping, and code while helping senior and staff engineers lead work across teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Set technical direction for platform initiatives spanning multiple teams, connecting architectural decisions to product needs and business priorities.
- Identify and lead changes addressing system bottlenecks, reliability risks, and architectural constraints.
- Own cross-team initiatives from problem definition and design through implementation, rollout, and evaluation.
- Make tradeoffs across reliability, performance, cost, operational complexity, and delivery speed.
- Stay hands-on where your contribution matters most, writing code, building prototypes, and helping teams resolve difficult implementation problems.
- Partner with engineering and product leaders to prioritize platform investments and sequence work across teams.
- Guide major architectural decisions and help teams resolve disagreements with clear reasoning and evidence.
- Mentor senior and staff engineers, strengthening their technical judgment and ability to lead across team boundaries.
HOW YOU WORK
- You bring structure to ambiguous problems and help teams agree on what to solve first.
- You pair architectural judgment with hands-on engineering and ownership through delivery.
- You build alignment across teams, challenge assumptions, and make decisions when priorities compete.
- You favor simple, maintainable designs and understand when added complexity is necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience setting technical direction across multiple engineering teams, aligning engineering and product leaders on architectural decisions, priorities, and tradeoffs.
- Track record of leading complex, cross-team initiatives from problem definition through production delivery, with measurable improvements in reliability, scalability, performance, or engineering productivity.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial hands-on experience architecting, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep experience designing and operating production systems in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP, with ownership of architectural decisions and their operational outcomes.
- Strong hands-on software engineering skills, including writing production code and building prototypes to validate architectural approaches.
- Deep expertise in one or more of the following areas, with working knowledge across others:
- Cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code, such as Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Event streaming and real-time processing systems, such as Kafka, Flink, or Beam.
- Distributed storage and data systems, including OLAP/OLTP databases, blob storage, and caching.
- Ability to explain complex technical tradeoffs, build alignment across teams and senior leadership, and resolve architectural disagreements.
- Experience mentoring senior and staff engineers, strengthening their architectural judgment, and developing technical leadership across teams.
The base salary range Sentry reasonably expects to pay for this position is $260,000 to $400,000, plus an annual performance bonus of up to 20% of base salary. A successful candidate’s actual base salary (or hourly wage) amount will be determined by a variety of relevant factors including, without limitation, the candidate’s work location, education, work and other relevant experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. • Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and launch readiness with the ePMO.
• Partner with Product Marketing and RevOps on enablement plans and rollout execution.
• Manage pricing-related sales escalations and the cross-functional coordination required to resolve them.

• A track record of driving cross-functional execution across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret pricing and revenue data and translate it into clear insights and recommendations.
• Experience establishing operating rhythms, governance processes, and repeatable playbooks.
• Familiarity with GTM and RevOps tooling and processes (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ, and BI tools such as Looker).
• Highly organized and self-directed, able to manage multiple concurrent programs in a fast-paced environment.

Alvys is building modern infrastructure for the logistics industry. Our cloud-based TMS (Transportation Management System) powers freight operations with intuitive workflows, real-time visibility, and deep automation—helping carriers and brokers scale faster and operate smarter. We’re a fast-growing startup backed by top investors and are passionate about solving real-world problems for an essential industry. We’re looking for a highly skilled and hands-on
Accounting Manager.
In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for establishing scalable processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, and enabling operational excellence as we grow.
Role overview
Alvys builds the transportation management platform that carriers and brokers use to run their businesses. As we scale, we’re building a finance function that is rigorous, hands-on and increasingly automated. We’re hiring an Accounting Manager to take ownership of the accounting engine behind that growth and work closely with the Head of Finance as the senior accounting lead on the team.
You’ll own the full accounting cycle — month-end close, general ledger, revenue, AP, payroll, tax and audit readiness — with responsibility for producing a clean, accurate and defensible set of books. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the ledger deeply enough to explain what changed, why it changed and what needs attention.
You’ll run the close end to end, review the work prepared by the team, own the areas that require judgment, and step into the details when needed. You’ll also help develop the team, strengthen our processes and continue building the automation layer behind the finance function.
Key responsibilities
Month-end close and general ledger
Own the close calendar end to end — task assignment, deadlines, review, and the close results package delivered to the Head of Finance.
Review and post the journal entries prepared by the team, and prepare the entries that carry judgment — commission and bonus accruals, payroll true-ups, and period-end reclasses.
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations covering cash, AR, deferred revenue, prepaids and accruals.
Run flux analysis (MoM, YoY) across the P&L and balance sheet, and write variance commentary that explains the movement.
Maintain the chart of accounts and product master lists, and keep reporting mappings current.
Revenue reporting and billing oversight
Review and approve the monthly revenue close prepared by the billing analyst — the reconciliation of subscription and non-subscription revenue across Stripe, Salesforce and QuickBooks Online, and the entries that come out of it.
Own revenue recognition policy under ASC 606 and make the judgment calls: usage overages, multi-element contracts, contract modifications, concessions and early terminations.
Own annual recurring revenue reporting (ARR and CARR) — the monthly build, the roll-forward of new, expansion, contraction and churn, and the tie-out of that roll-forward back to booked revenue in the general ledger.
Connect recurring revenue reporting to Salesforce pipeline and contract reporting, reconciling bookings, billings and recognized revenue with the billing analyst.
Oversee invoicing, collections and the dunning cycle. Approve concessions, credit memos and refunds, and review the deferred revenue schedule against the billing system.
Accounts payable, expenses and payroll
Oversee vendor bills, payment runs and employee reimbursements in Ramp, in partnership with People Operations.
Partner with People Operations on domestic and international payroll — review the runs, journalize them, and reconcile the clearing and benefits-payable accounts.
Review commission calculations and book the corresponding accruals and true-ups.
Financial reporting and expense forecasting
Update the monthly expense forecast off closed actuals — run rate by department and GL account, vendor and contract commitments, headcount and compensation roll-forward.
Maintain the amortization and accrual schedules that drive forward-looking operating expense, and carry the changes into the forecast as they’re booked.
Explain spend variance against budget at the account and department level, and keep the supporting detail current for leadership reporting.
Tax, compliance and audit
Coordinate with our external advisors on federal, state and franchise tax filings.
Own sales tax, 1099 and entity registration compliance.
Run audit readiness and execution: PBC lists, supporting schedules, and auditor questions.
Team and process
Manage and develop a small analyst team covering AP and expense operations, and billing and AR.
Serve as backup across the team’s work, and as the Head of Finance’s delegate on accounting matters.
Own the accounting SOP library, the close checklist and the task repository, and keep all three current.
Find manual and inefficient processes and eliminate them as we target an “autonomous close.” Our close, billing and reconciliation processes already run on a growing set of automations, and this role is expected to extend them.
Minimum qualifications
Experience
6+ years
of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of a full close cycle and hands-on balance sheet reconciliation.
Solid full general ledger background — you’ve prepared and reviewed entries across payroll, accruals and revenue, can defend a balance, and understand how accounting activity flows through the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
Revenue recognition experience under
ASC 606
in a subscription business.
Experience managing, reviewing and developing other accountants.
Systems
QuickBooks Online — required.
Daily hands-on experience: chart of accounts, journal entries, bank reconciliation, reporting.
Stripe — required.
Subscriptions, invoices, credit memos, disputes, payouts, and reconciling subscription billing activity into the general ledger.
Advanced Google Sheets. Pivots, lookups, nested logic, data validation.
Salesforce
is a significant plus.
AI fluency and automation — required
Demonstrated, current use of AI in your accounting work. Be ready to tell us what you’ve automated, what it replaced, and how much time it gave back.
Comfort writing prompts, iterating on output, and knowing when not to trust it. Everything AI produces is reviewed before it touches the ledger.
Our finance function runs on a library of custom AI workflows built in-house. You’ll use them daily and be expected to build on them.
Preferred
CPA or active CPA candidate — someone committed to a career in accounting and finance.
SaaS or technology industry experience.
Prior exposure to a modern expense, HRIS or close-management platform.
Personal attributes
Hands-on by instinct. You review the work, and you prepare it yourself when the cycle calls for it — working a reconciliation, chasing a variance or covering a teammate’s queue during close week.
Comfortable operating on a small team where the person who owns the number also understands and builds the schedule behind it.
Growth mindset. This role is deliberately scoped to expand, and we’re looking for someone who wants that.
Clear written communication. A large share of this job is explaining a variance or accounting issue to someone who does not work in finance.
Why Alvys
Ownership.
You’ll run the close and monthly financial reporting, with direct review from and partnership with the Head of Finance.
Modern stack.
A cloud-native finance stack — QuickBooks Online, Stripe and Salesforce at the core — with an AI tooling layer we build ourselves.
Proximity to decisions.
You’ll work directly with leadership and have real influence on how the accounting function is built as the company scales.
Growth.
This role is designed to expand in scope, with a path toward Controller as the business and finance organization mature.
Collaborative culture.
Mission-driven people building the future of logistics technology, grounded in trust and transparency.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About The Role

This role is perfect for someone who’s as comfortable digging into the details of our features and our users’ needs as they are with telling a big-picture story about where our platform and industry are headed.
This is not a Product Marketing role focused solely on executing requests from the product or sales teams. Product Marketing at Fivetran+dbt Labs is highly strategic and cross-functional, collaborating across product, marketing, GTM, customer success, and executive teams to shape the direction of our product offerings and deliver customer impact. If you are passionate about driving strategy, fostering cross-functional partnerships, and contributing to transformative initiatives in the data and AI space, we’d love for you to apply.

Develop thought leadership that translates complex technical concepts into clear, value-based messaging for technical audiences. Review and edit materials across the product portfolio to ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment.
Customer & Market Insights: Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics across the modern data ecosystem to inform product positioning and messaging. Partner closely with Product Management to deeply understand features, technical capabilities, and customer use cases across multiple product areas. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a technical marketing partner to GTM Product Marketers, Demand Generation, Regional Marketing, Sales, and Enablement to support launches, campaigns, webinars, field events, and sales plays across priority product areas. Collaborate with Partner Marketing to showcase integrations and ecosystem partnerships through joint initiatives such as webinars, workshops, and hands-on labs.
Technical Expertise: Operationalize technical product marketing best practices across teams. Stay up to date with trends in data integration, cloud data platforms, AI, deployment models, governance, etc. Serve as technical SME on the Fivetran platform, articulating how it fits into customers’ broader data stacks and workflows. Provide best practices, reference architectures, and technical validation to support sales cycles and customer conversations.
Thought Leadership: Represent Fivetran as a platform expert through events, presentations, webinars, and hands-on labs. Support analyst relations and strategic conversations by providing detailed technical insights and validating product innovation across the portfolio. Help position Fivetran as a foundational component of modern, scalable data infrastructure.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Finance Manager, Sales to join our Finance team. You will be a key partner to Sales and RevOps leadership, helping shape metrics-driven decision making across Sales budget and headcount, commissions, SLG bookings, quota planning, capacity, and productivity. This role will have high cross-functional visibility and will be central to building the financial discipline, operating cadence, and scalable reporting needed to support Vercel’s next stage of growth.
What you'll do
Serve as the trusted Finance partner for the CRO by delivering actionable insights through forecasting, scenario analysis, business reviews, and resource allocation recommendations
Own Sales budget and headcount planning, including bottoms-up workforce models that connect hiring plans, ramp timing, productivity assumptions, commissions, and compensation costs to bookings and revenue goals
Support SLG bookings and quota planning by partnering with Sales and RevOps on quota capacity, ramp, attainment, coverage, territory design inputs, and productivity assumptions
Support commissions planning, forecasting, and reporting in partnership with Accounting, RevOps, and Sales leadership, including commission expense, accruals, plan changes, and performance insights
Lead Sales BvA reviews and operating cadences, translating financial results into clear variance narratives, risks, opportunities, and recommendations
Improve Sales Finance reporting and tooling by building scalable dashboards, templates, and processes that reduce manual work, improve forecast accuracy, and surface key risks earlier
What you need
Commercially sharp and analytically rigorous
– You understand how Sales and RevOps teams operate and can connect SLG bookings, quota planning, pipeline, capacity, attainment, productivity, commissions, headcount, and spend to the company’s financial plan.
Anti-bureaucracy, pro-speed
– You streamline workflows, remove drag, and make decisions with clarity. You believe a 3-bullet Slack post with a clear recommendation is better than a 20-slide deck.
Tech-forward operator

You’ll provide Pricing and Order Operations subject-matter expertise and execute assigned business validation across signature packets, bookings, marketplace offers, and booking-to-order management handoffs. This role partners closely with Order Operations & Monetization, IT’s business systems team, Pricing Operations, Sales, and Deal Desk.
Reporting & Prioritization
Reports to the Order Operations & Monetization lead, Jamie Calkins.
The Senior Pricing Operations Manager may help prioritize pricing-related test cases and QTC issues tied specifically to pricing and quoting.
The Order Operations & Monetization lead owns final prioritization of the analyst’s workload across order operations, assigned non-pricing UAT participation, and pricing-related support work.
This is a hybrid role, 1-2 days in the office.
Technologies You’ll Use
Salesforce CPQ
Jira
Suger and marketplace user interfaces, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and Snowflake

What You’ll Do
Pricing Operations & QTC Support
Support pricing operations changes through business requirement review, data validation, configuration checks, and documentation, helping ensure pricing logic is accurately reflected in QTC workflows.
Validate pricing-related QTC changes across quoting, approvals, discounting logic, product configuration, and downstream order execution.
Help confirm that pricing changes are operationally ready before launch, including impacts to Sales, Deal Desk, Order Operations, Billing, Revenue, and marketplace workflows.
Partner with the Senior Pricing Operations Manager to prioritize pricing-related test cases, identify gaps in business requirements, and document expected system behavior.
Help maintain documentation for pricing- and order-related system configurations, known dependencies, and release-readiness criteria.
UAT & Testing
Participate as a Pricing and Order Operations subject-matter expert in UAT project-managed by Technical Program Management (TPM) and executed under RevOps coordination, ensuring relevant business scenarios and expected outcomes are represented.
Execute assigned Pricing and Order Operations test cases and collaborate with the GTM subject-matter experts identified by RevOps.
Partner with RevOps and relevant subject-matter experts to develop and maintain Pricing and Order Operations test cases, including scenarios for quoting, approvals, signature packets, bookings, marketplace offers, billing, and order management.
Document test results and defects with clear traceability from business requirement to test outcome, and provide domain-specific readiness input through the established UAT sign-off process.
Maintain the Pricing and Order Operations portion of the regression test suite for recurring QTC changes.
Order Operations
Operate under defined business requirements for order operations rules within the QTC flow, validating execution across signature packet generation and e-signature routing, booking rules, marketplace offer configuration—including AWS, Azure, GCP, and Snowflake—and the booking-to-order management handoff.
Partner with IT’s business systems team and the Proposal-to-Order Lead to keep order operations rules aligned with upstream pricing and quoting logic and downstream billing and revenue systems.
Ensure signature packets and marketplace offers accurately reflect the underlying order and pricing terms before execution.
Identify and troubleshoot order operations issues across bookings, signature packets, and marketplace offers, escalating systemic problems to the appropriate system owner.
Skills We’re Looking For
2–3 years of experience in pricing operations, order operations, business systems analysis, or quality assurance within an agile environment, ideally involving quote-to-cash processes.
Working knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and order management or billing systems, with the ability to read and understand configuration logic without necessarily building it directly.
Strong attention to detail and comfort performing structured, repeatable testing work.
Comfort using conversational AI tools—such as Claude, ChatGPT, or internal chatbots—to support daily and project work, combined with sound judgment about when human review or decision-making is necessary.
Clear written communication skills, with the ability to document test cases, defects, and sign-off criteria for technical and business audiences.
A proactive, organized approach, with the ability to work across IT, Pricing and Order Operations, and Sales and Deal Desk with minimal oversight.
Bonus Skills
Exposure to Revenue Recognition or Professional Services systems and processes.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
