At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Senior Engineering Manager for Agent Platform & UX, you will lead two teams reimagining Render's onboarding and activation experience for both humans and AI agents.
One team owns the experience a person sees the first time they come to Render: signup, onboarding, activation, and what drives them to adopt more of the platform. The other team builds the equivalent experience for agents, which reach Render through APIs rather than the UI, integrating with providers like Codex, Claude, and Cursor so agents can use Render the way humans do. You'll take an already-forming org through its next stage of growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and grow two teams, UX (human onboarding and activation) and Agent Platform (the equivalent experience for agents via programmatic interfaces like the MCP, CLI, API, SDK, and Blueprints)
- Own the roadmap for Render's self-serve user journey, from first touch through activation, initial monetization, usage expansion, new feature adoption, and PQL graduation
- Drive the agent-facing side of the platform: build the API-driven experience that lets agents integrate with and operate on Render
- Partner with the dedicated product and design partners on both teams to align roadmap with customer, growth, and platform needs
- Hire and develop engineers to support planned team growth, while keeping both teams' identities and focus areas clear as they scale
- Make key architectural and product decisions, balancing long-term platform investment against iterative improvements to onboarding and activation
- Build a strong performance management and career development practice for a team that already includes senior ICs
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong people leadership - the top priority for this role
- Hands-on enough to review code, prototype, and contribute directly when it helps the team
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, with adaptability and a growth mindset
- Proven experience building and scaling more than one team, ideally growing a group from a handful of engineers into a larger org
- Experience managing and developing senior (IC5+) engineers, including hiring and performance management
- Ability to partner closely with product and design without needing to fill those functions yourself
- Strong product instincts, with the ability to connect engineering investment to growth and activation outcomes
- Background from either a startup or a larger company is fine. What matters is experience and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Prior growth-focused engineering experience (onboarding, activation, funnel optimization)
- Experience building developer- or agent-facing product experiences, and integrating with AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude, or Cursor
- Background in developer platforms or DevTools
- Experience helping a team split or reorganize as it scales into multiple teams
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.

ABOUT SENTRY
Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building.
Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Sentry provides developer-first observability to over 4 million developers worldwide. The Events Analytics Platform (EAP) team is at the heart of that mission: it powers how all of Sentry's event data, such as errors, transactions, spans, profiles, replays, and metrics, is stored, queried, and analyzed. It also powers Sentry's latest AI push, Seer.
The EAP team makes it possible for developers to efficiently search and debug across massive volumes of data, providing the context needed to understand and fix issues quickly. This team is also a cornerstone of Sentry's long-term strategy to become a context assembly and telemetry platform that unifies different signals so developers can see the complete picture.
As an engineering manager on the EAP team, you will lead a group of engineers building and scaling one of Sentry's most critical data platforms. You will be responsible for driving architectural evolution, ensuring system stability, and mentoring a talented team. This is a highly visible leadership role with direct ties to Sentry's long-term product and platform strategy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Grow and develop a team of engineers with high expectations for ownership and impact
- Set the technical and strategic direction for the team, balancing short-term stability with long-term architectural evolution
- Drive development of core EAP features, including support for complex analytical queries, dynamic routing logic across fidelity levels, storage and compute separation, and modern patterns for analytical storage
- Ensure EAP can support the workload demands of AI agents and MCP servers that unlock new AI capabilities for Sentry
- Guide the unification of all event data into EAP and enable fast, complex cross-event querying at scale
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Product Engineering, Streaming, Production Engineering, Security, and Compliance
- Lead the team through incidents, postmortems, and scaling challenges while fostering operational excellence
- Build a healthy and collaborative team culture rooted in growth, accountability, and inclusion
YOU'LL LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU
- Enjoy mentoring and developing engineers, especially helping junior engineers grow into senior roles
- Get excited by designing and running large-scale distributed data systems where performance and reliability matter
- Are passionate about tackling the challenges of continuously scaling as Sentry's traffic grows
- Like tackling complex querying and storage challenges at massive scale
- Thrive on cross-functional collaboration with product and infrastructure teams
- Want to work on a highly strategic team with significant visibility that shapes the future of Sentry's platform
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of industry experience in software engineering, including 4+ years of people management experience with career development and performance management
- Strong technical background in data platforms, storage systems, or analytical backends (for example, ClickHouse, Pinot, or Druid)
- Experience with distributed systems, query optimization, or scaling data-intensive workloads
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficiency with Python, Rust, or a similar programming language is a plus
- Familiarity with observability, developer tools, or event-driven systems is a plus
The base salary range that Sentry reasonably expects to pay for this position is $220,000 to $400,000 USD, plus an annual performance bonus of up to 15% of base salary. A successful candidate’s actual base salary (or hourly wage) amount will be determined by a variety of relevant factors including, without limitation, the candidate’s work location, education, work and other relevant experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. A successful candidate will be eligible to participate in Sentry’s employee benefit plans/programs applicable to the candidate’s position (including incentive compensation, equity grants, paid time off, and group health insurance coverage). See Sentry Benefits https://sentry.io/careers/ for more details about the Company’s benefit plans/programs.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AT SENTRY
Sentry is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to its employees and candidates for employment regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, veteran status, or other legally-protected characteristic. This commitment includes the provision of reasonable accommodations to employees and candidates for employment with physical or mental disabilities who require such accommodations in order to (a) perform the essential functions of their jobs, or (b) seek employment with Sentry. We strive to build a diverse team, with an inclusive culture where every teammate can thrive. Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Sentry's Infrastructure Engineering team is what makes operating Sentry simple, safe, and seamless for every other engineering team in the company. They build the internal control platforms, configuration systems, traffic routing, and automation that let product engineers operate services safely at scale without needing deep infrastructure expertise themselves.
As the Engineering Manager for Infrastructure Engineering, you'll lead a team of engineers building the tools that power Sentry's growth: internal admin and change management tools, configuration automation, and the routing layer that underlies Sentry's architecture. You'll be responsible for technical vision, team health, system reliability, and partnership with engineering teams across the company who depend on your team's tools every day.
You'll work closely with leaders across Infrastructure, Platform, and Production Engineering to shape how Sentry scales its operational model as the company grows.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Lead a team of engineers building the internal control platforms that every engineering team at Sentry relies on to operate services safely.

- Nurture and grow engineers at different levels, providing support through coaching, mentorship, and career development.
- Foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture focused on ownership, learning, and delivery.

YOU'LL LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU

- Enjoy solving infrastructure problems around configuration, routing, and automation, and turning them into clean, self-service abstractions.
- Believe in using proven technologies and committing to a single, reliable choice rather than chasing novelty.
- Think in terms of building for scale and cost effectiveness from day one, and for the needs of many teams rather than one.
- Value cross-functional collaboration and thrive in hybrid, in-person settings with engineers across functions, levels, and geographies.
- Take pride in building strong, healthy teams and enabling them to lead high-impact, multi-year initiatives.
- Want to be part of a thoughtful, highly technical team that cares about long-term system health and operational simplicity.
QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of engineering management experience, including growing and managing teams of engineers.
- Experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager leading the architecture and long-term evolution of internal control platforms or similar systems.
- Strong backend or full-stack engineering background, with solid Python skills.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, terraform, python, and a systems mindset for abstracting complex infrastructure for others to use.
- Strong technical communication skills and a track record of effective cross-team and leadership collaboration.
- Proven experience delivering and owning multi-year engineering initiatives in a leadership or technical leadership capacity.
- Comfortable working across org boundaries and aligning priorities across infra, platform, and product teams.

Sentry already sees the moment software breaks: the error, the trace, the replay, the commit that caused it. Seer, our AI debugger, uses all of that to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. We're looking for a Staff engineer to help decide how that system should evolve as models improve every few months. Some of what we build today will be obsolete by next spring. Part of the job is knowing which parts, and building the rest to last.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Build state-of-the-art agentic AI systems to triage, debug, and solve real production issues
- Set technical direction for how our agents get context, use tools, and decide when they're done
- Build the evals that tell us whether a new model or prompt actually helped, fast enough that people use them
- Decide when to use a frontier model, a smaller one, or one we trained, and revisit that as cost and capability shift
- Leverage Sentry’s novel (and massive) dataset of errors, spans, and profiles
- Own major AI initiatives end to end, alongside the developers and product teams shipping them
- Run what you ship in production and debug it with Sentry
YOU'LL LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU
- Are driven by impact and enjoy working on high-stakes, high-visibility projects
- Enjoy building things. You will have the opportunity to join the AI/ML team as one of its foundational members
- Thrive in cross-functional teams and enjoy building features alongside developers and product teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- You've shipped an LLM-backed system people depended on, and can tell us what broke
- You have strong opinions on agent design and have changed at least one in the last year
- You've trained or fine-tuned models when it was the right call, and you know when it isn't
- You write solid production Python
- You've owned a system or component and led work across multiple engineers and teams, with a design doc people actually read
- You write clear technical documentation, mentor other engineers, and present to technical audiences
The base salary range (or hourly wage range, if applicable) that Sentry reasonably expects to pay for this position is $240,000 to $400,000.
Sentry is an open-source company because we believe that everyone, everywhere, should have the ability and tools to make great software. Software should be accessible. That starts with making our industry accessible.

Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
A strong and reliable platform is essential to scaling Sentry for the future. Our Platform organization is responsible for everything that powers Sentry, from cloud infrastructure and streaming systems to storage, deployment, and security. We own the core services and technical foundations that enable every product and engineering team at Sentry to move fast and build with confidence.
We’re looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to set technical direction across Sentry’s Platform organization and lead engineering work spanning infrastructure, streaming, and storage.
Reporting directly to the VP of Platform Engineering, you’ll partner with engineering and product leaders to identify where our platform needs to evolve, make architectural decisions across team boundaries, and lead those changes through production delivery. You’ll stay hands-on through system design, prototyping, and code while helping senior and staff engineers lead work across teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Set technical direction for platform initiatives spanning multiple teams, connecting architectural decisions to product needs and business priorities.
- Identify and lead changes addressing system bottlenecks, reliability risks, and architectural constraints.
- Own cross-team initiatives from problem definition and design through implementation, rollout, and evaluation.
- Make tradeoffs across reliability, performance, cost, operational complexity, and delivery speed.
- Stay hands-on where your contribution matters most, writing code, building prototypes, and helping teams resolve difficult implementation problems.
- Partner with engineering and product leaders to prioritize platform investments and sequence work across teams.
- Guide major architectural decisions and help teams resolve disagreements with clear reasoning and evidence.
- Mentor senior and staff engineers, strengthening their technical judgment and ability to lead across team boundaries.
HOW YOU WORK
- You bring structure to ambiguous problems and help teams agree on what to solve first.
- You pair architectural judgment with hands-on engineering and ownership through delivery.
- You build alignment across teams, challenge assumptions, and make decisions when priorities compete.
- You favor simple, maintainable designs and understand when added complexity is necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience setting technical direction across multiple engineering teams, aligning engineering and product leaders on architectural decisions, priorities, and tradeoffs.
- Track record of leading complex, cross-team initiatives from problem definition through production delivery, with measurable improvements in reliability, scalability, performance, or engineering productivity.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial hands-on experience architecting, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep experience designing and operating production systems in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP, with ownership of architectural decisions and their operational outcomes.
- Strong hands-on software engineering skills, including writing production code and building prototypes to validate architectural approaches.
- Deep expertise in one or more of the following areas, with working knowledge across others:
- Cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code, such as Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Event streaming and real-time processing systems, such as Kafka, Flink, or Beam.
- Distributed storage and data systems, including OLAP/OLTP databases, blob storage, and caching.
- Ability to explain complex technical tradeoffs, build alignment across teams and senior leadership, and resolve architectural disagreements.
- Experience mentoring senior and staff engineers, strengthening their architectural judgment, and developing technical leadership across teams.
The base salary range Sentry reasonably expects to pay for this position is $260,000 to $400,000, plus an annual performance bonus of up to 20% of base salary. We’re looking for a
Program Manager
to serve as the operational backbone of our pricing and monetization strategy in addition to supporting strategic initiatives, as needed. Sitting within Product Program Management and partnering closely with Analytics, Product, Sales, Product Marketing, RevOps, Finance, and Engineering, you'll own the cross-functional execution that turns pricing strategy into well-governed, shipped programs. You'll coordinate launches end to end, track commitments, resolve escalations, and expand the playbook that makes growth at Fivetran repeatable and scalable. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives at the intersection of program management, GTM, and product strategy. You will be driving some of the most impactful business outcomes.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland, CA office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
Technologies You’ll Use
Google Workspace(sheets)/Excel, Jira, Looker/Sigma/Hex, Notion, Salesforce and Slack.
What You’ll Do
• Define and own the operating model and standards for pricing program management — the governance frameworks, templates, and decision rights adopted across Growth & Monetization.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Product and Sales leadership on pricing strategy, influencing roadmap and go-to-market decisions and representing pricing in executive forums.
• Lead the most complex, high-stakes, cross-org pricing initiatives end to end — navigating ambiguity, aligning competing stakeholders, and setting precedent for how future pricing programs are run
• Track executive pricing deliverables and commitments end to end, including commitments made to the CEO.
• Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and launch readiness with the ePMO.
• Partner with Product Marketing and RevOps on enablement plans and rollout execution.
• Manage pricing-related sales escalations and the cross-functional coordination required to resolve them.
• Lead pricing analyses and business requests, turning data into recommendations that inform pricing decisions.
• Report on pricing outcomes — such as closed-lost-due-to-pricing and overall pricing impact — and translate results into forward-looking recommendations.
Skills We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in program management or product operations, ideally supporting pricing, monetization, or GTM initiative in B2B SaaS and with consumption based pricing.
• A track record of driving cross-functional execution across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication, including tracking and reporting on commitments to senior leadership.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret pricing and revenue data and translate it into clear insights and recommendations.
• Experience establishing operating rhythms, governance processes, and repeatable playbooks.
• Familiarity with GTM and RevOps tooling and processes (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ, and BI tools such as Looker).
• Highly organized and self-directed, able to manage multiple concurrent programs in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Skills
-Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based platforms
-PMP Certified

THE ADVENTURE AHEAD 🚀
As a Senior Product Engineer II, you bring deep expertise in either backend or frontend engineering alongside strong working competency across the full stack. You own complex features and technical initiatives end to end, working across customer facing applications, services, APIs, and integration boundaries to deliver complete solutions.
Your primary strength may be building cloud native backend systems and event driven architectures, or architecting complex frontend applications and customer experiences. In either case, you understand how the broader system fits together and can confidently work across boundaries when needed.
Beyond your individual technical output, you function as a technical anchor within your squad. You help drive technical direction, mentor peers, coordinate dependencies, and ensure the team can consistently deliver high quality software without creating unnecessary knowledge silos.
THE DAY-TO-DAY ⚒️
- Own complex initiatives end to end Drive multi sprint technical initiatives from architecture through implementation, production deployment, and ongoing evolution.
- Build across the stack Navigate frontend applications, APIs, backend services, data layers, and platform integrations to deliver complete outcomes.
- Set technical direction Bring deep expertise in your primary discipline while shaping architecture decisions and engineering patterns across the broader system.
- Make durable technical decisions Evaluate complex tradeoffs, manage technical risk, and balance immediate delivery with long term scalability and maintainability.
- Anchor the squad Break down complex work, coordinate technical dependencies, unblock others, and help the team maintain delivery momentum.
- Drive engineering excellence Raise the bar for testing, CI/CD, observability, architecture, code quality, and pragmatic technical debt management.
- Partner across functions Work with Product, Design, QA, SRE, platform teams, and engineering groups to translate customer problems into reliable solutions.
- Level up the team Mentor engineers through architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
YOUR SUPERPOWERS⚡️
- Engineering depth and breadth Six or more years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in either backend or frontend engineering and strong working competency across the broader stack.
- End to end ownership A proven record of owning complex technical initiatives from architecture through production deployment and operation.
- System design expertise Strong understanding of scalable application architecture, APIs, distributed systems, cloud services, and maintainable production software.
- Technical leadership The ability to guide engineers through uncertainty, establish effective architecture patterns, and raise engineering standards.
- Integration fluency Comfort navigating unfamiliar systems and safely changing frontend, backend, and integration boundaries.
- Engineering excellence Strong experience with automated testing, CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and pragmatic technical debt management.
- Collaborative communication The ability to explain tradeoffs, challenge assumptions constructively, and align Engineering, Product, Design, QA, and platform stakeholders.
BONUS POINTS 🌟
- Cloud and event driven systems Cloud native AWS applications using serverless services, asynchronous workflows, distributed systems, or event driven architecture.
- Infrastructure and delivery Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, or production operations.
- Frontend architecture Angular, React, or comparable frameworks, including application architecture, state management, design systems, performance, or accessibility.
- Backend breadth Node.js and TypeScript services or polyglot environments that include Go, Python, PHP, or other backend technologies.
- Production observability Monitoring, tracing, logging, metrics, incident diagnosis, and production operation.
- Technical growth Experience acting as a technical lead or clear progression toward broader Staff level leadership.
OUR STACK 🛠️
Our product teams work primarily with TypeScript across frontend and backend development. Frontend applications include Angular and modern web technologies. Backend and platform systems span Node.js, TypeScript, Go, PHP, Python, AWS, REST APIs, event driven architectures, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD, and modern observability tooling.
You do not need deep expertise in every technology we use. We are looking for deep expertise in a primary discipline, strong software engineering fundamentals, and confidence working across frontend, backend, and integration boundaries.
OUR HYBRID WORK PHILOSOPHY 🤝

You’ll lead a team of 4–5 engineers, working closely with Product, Design, Data and other technical leaders to build products that improve our users’ financial health.
- Lead and develop a squad of 4–5 engineers, balancing hands-on technical contribution with line management, coaching and support for individual growth.
- Partner with Product Managers, Staff Engineers and other technical leaders to shape a clear, feasible roadmap and deliver against squad OKRs.
- Define and steer the technical direction of your squad, helping the team make pragmatic trade-offs across speed, quality, scalability and long-term maintainability.
- Create the conditions for effective delivery by providing clarity, unblocking progress and establishing healthy, sustainable ways of working.
- Run regular 1:1s, provide clear and actionable feedback, and support engineers through development, performance conversations and growth planning.
- Stay close to the code and contribute hands-on to our Ruby on Rails monolith, using practices such as automated testing, observability, A/B testing and feature flags.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Product, Design and Data to deliver and iterate on features that have a meaningful impact on our users’ financial health.

- Solid experience with Ruby on Rails, building data models, APIs, and business logic services in a production monolith
- Experience leading technical delivery within a product squad or engineering team, helping shape and scope work through to delivery
- Experience line managing and coaching engineers, including giving feedback, supporting development and navigating performance conversations
- Strong technical judgement, with the ability to balance delivery speed, technical quality, scalability and longer-term investment
- Comfortable delivering with agile methodologies and practices like automated testing, observability, A/B testing, and feature flags
- A collaborative approach — you work well with Product, Design, Analytics and Engineering partners, and enjoy shaping work beyond just the technical bits
- A track record of helping teams build healthy habits, improve ways of working and deliver meaningful outcomes
- Alignment with our company values https://web.meetcleo.com/life-at-cleo and engineering principles https://web.meetcleo.com/blog/cleo-engineering-principles
