The Role
Own a portfolio of small and mid-sized advertisers across South Africa, selling media solutions on behalf of our partner platforms. This is a new-business hunting role first and an account management role second. If you are energised by clear targets and an active client list, this is your seat.
What You Will Do
Revenue and growth
Deliver your quarterly portfolio (BU) target, agreed with your Sales Manager. 100% achievement meets expectations.
Track against year-to-date and annual targets, quarter on quarter.
Grow your portfolio 20% year on year and retain 80% of your existing client base.
Generate 10% of quarterly revenue from new business: clients not yet onboarded, or inactive for 6+ months.
Reactivate 10 churned accounts every quarter (no spend for two full quarters or more) through proactive outreach and welcome-back incentives.
Send at least 2 revenue-driving proposals per week (deck, one-pager or email with a clear idea plus KPIs or benchmarks).
Account management
Hold at least 8 client or agency meetings per week (in person, virtual or by phone), each logged with a recap.
Run at least 6 client workshops per quarter (2 per month) and stay in weekly contact with clients.
Deliver at least 2 post-campaign reports per week, plus QBRs for key accounts.
Support Ad Ops to drive delivery and help clients reach campaign KPIs: optimise, troubleshoot and recommend solutions.
Spot and close upsells (IO top-ups, budget additions, extensions) and record them at project level in Salesforce.
Product and client knowledge
Know each client's business, history, spend and campaign performance.
Build deep working knowledge of our partner platforms, their products and updates, and educate clients through workshops.
Administration and Ad Ops
Execute Ad Ops processes accurately and on time, in line with Aleph procedures: trafficking bookings, sending IOs for signature, creating ad accounts, loading or publishing funds and granting access.
Reconcile client accounts, monitoring Go-Lives, slow-pacing IOs and expiring budgets.
Maintain tool expertise, internal process proficiency and administrative hygiene.
Salesforce and sales hygiene
Log everything in Salesforce: emails, calls, meetings, contacts, companies and upsells.
Maintain a BANT-qualified pipeline with genuine week-on-week movement and accurate closing dates.
Submit a bottoms-up weekly forecast within 20% of your agreed quarterly target.
Send meeting recaps within 24–48 hours, respond internally and externally within 24 hours, and escalate any opportunity delayed beyond 72 hours.
Keep client folders and collateral current on the shared drive (linked, never attached).
Schedule prep and debrief time around meetings, with a written agenda in every invite.
Prepare a handover document with a designated buddy for all approved leave.
Who You Are
3+ years in digital media, adtech or platform sales, ideally across SMB or high-volume portfolios
A genuine hunter — you enjoy cold outreach, you work the reactivation list, and you do not wait for inbound
Relentless energy and activity levels: five meetings and two proposals a week without being asked twice
Disciplined in CRM — you treat Salesforce as your own forecasting tool, not as admin
Confident presenting to founders, marketing managers and agency teams, and comfortable running workshops
Commercially sharp, resilient under target pressure, and quick to turn a client conversation into a proposal
Johannesburg-based, with a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel locally for client meetings

Own the data models, BI tools, and AI access patterns (Claude, MCP servers, Slack agents) that put trusted data in everyone's hands.
Build data applications the whole company relies on.
Ship production-grade apps that combine trusted data, APIs, and AI to answer questions dashboards can't.
What you'll do
Build and own a trusted semantic model, with governed metrics and business definitions, that answers business questions consistently across every tool
Build evals and ground-truth datasets that measure answer quality, and use them to drive improvements and catch regressions
Instrument telemetry to see who uses the semantic model and AI tools, what they ask, and where they get stuck
Build a model-selection harness so GitLab can route work across LLMs and stay flexible on cost and quality
Own data modeling and curated datasets for self-service, with the ownership, data contracts, testing, and documentation that make them AI-ready
Define the AI data access strategy: when to use BI, Claude, MCP servers, or Slack agents, with the governance and security to keep access trusted and reliable
Own the enterprise BI and self-service tools strategy (e.g., Tableau, Omni), including evaluation, adoption, and cost
Build self-service capabilities, such as Claude skills, documentation, and guided workflows, that help people find and use data on their own
Build and own company-wide data applications, from Claude-built single-page apps to apps inside BI tools, that combine Snowflake data, API calls, AI-powered deep dives, and write-back to Postgres or Snowflake
Set engineering standards for data apps (security, authentication, testing, deployment, and monitoring) so they're reliable at company scale
Set a long-range roadmap tied to company strategy, and a lightweight operating model that balances urgent stakeholder needs with investment in reusable data products and tech-debt reduction
Hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team of 8: build career paths, develop leaders, distribute ownership, and recognize great work
Act as customer zero for GitLab and GitLab Duo in data workflows, sharing feedback with Product and Engineering
What you'll bring
12+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI, including 5+ years leading teams and 2+ years managing managers or senior leads
Deep expertise in data modeling and semantic layers (e.g., dbt Semantic Layer, Snowflake semantic views, LookML, Cube), and expert dbt, including testing and CI/CD across a multi-team project
Hands-on experience building LLM-powered data access (text-to-SQL, agents, MCP servers), including evals and telemetry for answer quality, and advanced use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code
Expert SQL and strong Snowflake experience; working knowledge of Python
Strong data governance experience: data quality, lineage, certified datasets, and access controls (RBAC, row access and masking policies)
Track record of leading cross-functional data initiatives from strategy through adoption and measurable business impact, including enterprise BI and self-service at scale
Systems thinker who sees how models, pipelines, and architecture decisions connect, and designs for second-order effects
Exceptional communicator who writes clear technical specs, sets a clear vision, makes trade-offs visible, and influences executives and peers across the company
Pragmatic in ambiguity: makes sound decisions on emerging technology and ships the right next version rather than waiting for the ideal end state
Able to use GitLab, thrive in an all-remote, asynchronous company, model GitLab's remote working competencies, and work in line with GitLab's values
Nice to Have
Experience with LLM routing or gateway tools and managing model costs
Experience with Tableau, Omni, or a BI platform migration
Experience with web app development (e.g., React, TypeScript) and Postgres
Experience owning finance or revenue-critical data (e.g., ARR, consumption) where accuracy and auditability are non-negotiable
About the Team
Analytics Engineering makes GitLab's data trusted, easy to find, and ready for anyone to use, whether they ask a dashboard, Claude, or a Slack agent. We own the curated data models, the semantic layer, the self-service tools, and the data applications that let teams answer their own questions.
AI is changing how people get to data. Questions that once went through an analyst now go straight to AI tools, so the answers are only as good as the data models and business definitions behind them. Our job is to make those answers correct, consistent, and measurable.

This role can based in New York or San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 3 days per week on a hybrid work model.
About the Team
The recruiting team is dedicated to bringing in the people who will help creators thrive. We partner closely with leaders across the company to understand their goals, anticipate future needs, and build diverse, thoughtful teams. As advocates for both candidates and hiring teams, we design an inclusive, transparent hiring experience that feels true to Patreon's values. Above all, we believe that every great employee experience starts with a great candidate experience - one rooted in respect, clarity, and genuine connection
About the Role
- Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and technical leadership to define and run sourcing strategy for Engineering, Product, and Design roles across a range of levels, from early-career to senior and staff-plus
- Run intake conversations with hiring teams to understand the technical needs of each role, translate them into target profiles, and set clear sourcing goals and timelines
- Proactively identify and engage passive talent through LinkedIn, GitHub, open-source communities, technical forums, portfolios, conferences, and other channels where technical talent spends time
- Write personalized, compelling outreach that earns responses from in-demand engineers, product managers, and designers, and continuously test and refine messaging based on what works
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates in the early stages of the process, providing a warm, responsive, high-touch experience that reflects our brand
- Build and maintain talent pipelines and talent pools so we have qualified candidates ready ahead of demand
- Build sourcing strategies that expand our reach and bring in diverse slates of qualified candidates
- Track and report on pipeline health and funnel metrics (response rates, conversion by channel, time to submit), and use that data to improve how we source
- Improve our sourcing and early-stage processes by identifying bottlenecks, testing new approaches, and sharing best practices with the broader talent team
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate data and activity in our applicant tracking system
What you’ll need
- 3+ years of experience sourcing for technical roles (Engineering required; Product and/or Design a plus) at high-growth technology companies or startup
- Strong understanding of the technical landscape: you can speak credibly about roles, stacks, and levels (for example, backend vs. frontend vs. mobile vs. infrastructure/ML) and evaluate profiles against a role's core requirements
- Hands-on experience with sourcing tools and channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, social media, and technical communities and forums. Juicebox souring strongly preferred
- Experience with an applicant tracking system; Ashby experience strongly preferred
- A track record of crafting creative, data-informed sourcing strategies that build a consistent, diverse pipeline of qualified candidates
- Excellent written communication, with a demonstrated ability to write outreach that gets responses from passive talent
- Comfort partnering with recruiters and senior technical stakeholders, and influencing hiring strategy rather than just taking requests
- Strong organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches at once
- Demonstrated ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are still being built
- A genuine passion for the creator economy and the people who make a living doing what they love

The posted salary range is dependent on the location and the level. This range may encompass multiple levels within the role’s job family. The final offer will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, competencies, and geographic location, aligning with the appropriate job level within Patreon’s leveling framework. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

An overview of this role
As Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), you'll lead finance for GitLab's Research & Development (R&D) organization, our largest operating expense area. You'll be the strategic finance partner to our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and their leadership team, owning R&D planning, forecasting, and investment decisions.
R&D builds our AI-powered development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) platform, which more than 100,000 organizations use. You'll connect investment in headcount, infrastructure, AI and cloud usage, and tooling to product outcomes, with clear measurement and reliable forecasts.
You'll sit at the CTO's staff table, shape GitLab's long-range plan, and help leadership decide where to invest next, making R&D spend predictable.
What you’ll do
Serve as the finance advisor to the CTO and R&D leadership. Hold partners accountable for execution against plan and connect R&D priorities to company financial targets.
Lead annual planning, and rolling forecasts for R&D. Own the operating plan across headcount, compensation, contractors, hosting and cloud, AI and large language model (LLM) costs, software, and tooling.
Build frameworks that connect R&D investment to product roadmap outcomes. Evaluate business cases for new initiatives, AI capabilities, build-versus-buy decisions, and vendor commitments, and present risks and opportunities to leadership.
Define and track R&D efficiency metrics, including R&D spend as a percentage of revenue, cost per engineer, hosting cost per user, and AI inference cost per feature. Identify large-scale savings and reallocation opportunities and see them through to completion.
Partner with People and R&D leaders on hiring plans, location strategy, and organizational design. Keep headcount forecasts accurate and reconciled to actuals.
Lead the AI transformation of R&D finance. Rethink planning, forecasting, and reporting workflows, and use AI tools to make them faster, more accurate, and more insightful.
Redesign FP&A processes, policies, and planning and reporting systems for efficiency and effectiveness, with AI in the center. Work with Accounting on capitalized software, accruals, and allocations, and with Procurement on process improvements.
Lead and develop your R&D finance team:: hire and coach team members, set goals and priorities, and give expert feedback. Put GitLab's values into practice through handbook-first, asynchronous collaboration across time zones.
What you’ll bring
Extensive finance experience, including serving as the lead finance partner to an R&D, Engineering, or Product organization plus experience leading a team of analysts
A strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and R&D cost drivers, including engineering headcount, cloud hosting, AI and LLM usage, software licenses, and capitalized software development.
Experience leading process redesign and change in a finance team, including hands-on use of AI tools to improve how work gets done.
Expertise in influencing senior technical stakeholders and translating complex analysis into clear recommendations for executives.
Advanced financial modeling skills that follow industry best practices, expertise in Google Sheets, and hands-on experience with financial and data visualization tools. We don't use Excel for modeling.
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Comfort working remotely and asynchronously, and the ability to use GitLab.
Preferred experience includes enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) finance; direct CTO partnership; NetSuite, Sisense, Adaptive Planning, or SQL; or a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.

Our innovative teams are driving the future of consumer-led products, and we're always looking for passionate individuals to join us. Learn more about our story at: https://rubylabs.com/about-us/
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior User Acquisition Manager to take full ownership of paid social acquisition for one of our products. Meta, Snapchat and TikTok are key channels for our product, alongside other paid social networks. This is a senior, hands-on media buying role with end-to-end ownership. You will own the whole paid social acquisition process: strategy, account structure, bidding, budget allocation, creative testing, measurement, scaling and account health. You decide what to test, what to scale and what to cut, and you are accountable for the results. We need someone who has scaled paid social at volume, who knows how to grow in a policy-sensitive niche, and who can operate independently on large budgets.
You will manage performance against real revenue data (CPA, ROAS, payback, LTV and cohorts), not surface-level platform metrics. We also work AI-first, and we expect you to use Claude and automation to move faster.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the process end-to-end: take full ownership of paid social acquisition across TikTok, Meta, Snapchat and other paid social networks: planning, launch, optimization, scaling, reporting and documentation.
- Lead on TikTok: own and scale TikTok as the primary acquisition channel, including account structure, campaign types (including Smart+ / automated formats and Spark Ads), bidding, optimization events and creative strategy.
- Scale spend profitably while holding payback, ROAS and CPA targets based on real revenue and customer-value data.
- Build and optimize account structure, conversion events, value-based bidding and budget allocation across paid social networks.
- Decide budget allocation across TikTok, Meta, Snapchat and other paid social networks, and find new scaling levers: audiences, formats, placements, campaign types and additional networks.
- Run a structured, high-velocity creative testing process with the creative team on all networks, with clear hypotheses and kill/scale rules.
- Manage signal quality: conversion events, event value, purchase optimization and attribution.
- Operate in a policy-sensitive niche: run acquisition within each platform's rules. Keep ads compliant, handle disapprovals, appeals and restrictions, and build prevention-first processes so issues are caught before launch.
- Protect account health: manage ad account structure, backups and recovery plans.
- Work with platform reps on betas, new campaign types and escalations.
- Diagnose drops and spikes quickly and act on them.
- Document tests, learnings and playbooks, and use Claude and automation to speed up builds, QA, reporting and optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of hands-on paid social / user acquisition experience.
- Large-scale experience running paid social acquisition.
- Proven experience working in policy-sensitive niches and keeping accounts healthy while scaling.
- Strong hands-on TikTok, Meta and Snapchat Ads experience, scaling them profitably.
- Working experience across other paid social channels is a plus.
- Direct ownership of large budgets, ideally $1M+/month hands-on.
- Strong understanding of subscription / app economics: LTV, ROAS, payback windows, cohorts, high-value-user dynamics and value-based optimization.
- Deep policy and account health experience: disapprovals, appeals, restrictions, ad account bans and how to recover from and prevent them.
- Strong creative testing discipline and measurement rigor.
- Ownership mentality: you run channels end-to-end with minimal supervision and take responsibility for outcomes.
LOCATION
Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
BENEFITS
- Remote Work Environment: Embrace the freedom to work from anywhere, anytime, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
- Unlimited PTO: Enjoy unlimited paid time off to recharge and prioritize your well-being, without counting days.
- Paid National Holidays: Celebrate and relax on national holidays with paid time off to unwind and recharge.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Corporate Systems team runs the core collaboration platforms everyone here works in and builds the tooling and automation behind IT. That responsibility extends to the companies we acquire. Their people, devices, and systems have to come into Anthropic securely.
You'll own the IT side of Anthropic's acquisitions: due diligence, integration planning, and integration. Before close, you'll assess a company's IT environment and give the deal team a clear read on risk and effort. You'll define the technical integration plan and its requirements: what moves, where it lands, in what order, what has to be ready on day one, and how each security gap gets closed. After close, you'll carry out that plan and bring the company's people, devices, and systems onto our stack. This is a hands-on engineering role. You'll hold admin, write code, build automation, run the cutovers yourself and bring in other teams when the work calls for their expertise or support. You'll lead this work for IT Engineering and partner with Security, Corporate Development, Legal, People, and Finance at every stage.
M&A will be your primary focus and responsibility, but you'll be a full member of the Corporate Systems team; taking part in planning and reviews, using and contributing to the team’s tooling, and contributing to the roadmap. Early on, M&A will be most of your work, including using Claude to automate the repeatable parts of diligence and integration. As that automation matures, and when M&A load is light, you'll contribute to other parts of the team’s roadmap.
Responsibilities
Lead technical IT due diligence: assess a company's identity, applications, endpoints, and infrastructure, and brief the deal team on risk and effort before close
Find the gaps between an acquired environment and Anthropic's security model, rate them, and build the mitigations into the integration plan
Define the technical integration plan and its requirements: what moves, where it lands, in what order, and what has to be ready on day one
Run the integration: take over administration, migrate people, devices, and data, and retire what's no longer needed, with support from other IT Engineering teams as required.
Work with Business Technology, Client Platform, Corporate Network, IT Operations, and Security on their parts of each integration
Keep Corporate Development, Legal, People, Finance, and the acquired company's team clear on where IT stands
Build a repeatable IT M&A playbook and automate as much of it as possible with Claude
When M&A work is light, contribute to core Corporate Systems projects
You may be a good fit if you have
8+ years as a hands-on engineer in corporate IT. You have designed and shipped systems, carried out migrations or integrations yourself, and owned at least one area end-to-end, with experience supporting other areas: identity, applications, endpoints, or corporate infrastructure
Experience administering enterprise identity and collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, and an SSO provider, and working code in Python or similar against their SaaS APIs
Working knowledge of endpoint management and security concepts, enough to lead diligence on an unfamiliar fleet
A proven ability to understand an unfamiliar IT environment quickly and deliver a prioritized view of risk to non-specialists
A record of leading technical projects that span several teams and run to a fixed date, while doing much of the engineering yourself
Comfort working autonomously, with ambiguity and confidential information
Clear communication with executives, legal and corporate development teams, and engineers at acquired companies
Strong candidates may also have
Prior M&A, carve-out, or company-to-company migration experience
Experience across the full stack: endpoints, systems, applications, and infrastructure
Hands-on experience managing a device fleet or running an MDM
Experience working in or alongside a security team
A record of building tooling that replaces manual IT work
Using Claude or similar tools as a core part of how you work
Representative projects
Assess an acquired company's IT environment that nobody here has seen and produce a prioritized integration plan within days
Design a way to size integration effort and risk for a company of any shape or size
Automate bringing acquired people and devices onto Anthropic's identity and device management
Write the IT risk memo for a live deal and present it to Corporate Development and Security leadership
Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be received on a rolling basis.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About Beneficial Deployments
Beneficial Deployments ensures AI reaches and benefits the communities that need it most. We partner with nonprofits, foundations, and mission-driven organizations to deploy Claude in education, global health, economic mobility, and life sciences — focusing on raising the floor for those who need it most.
About the Role
We're looking for an Applied AI Engineer to join our Beneficial Deployments, Life Sciences team. Our goal is for Claude to close the loop on scientific discovery, and a significant part of this is helping Claude to drive scientific hardware and software. You'll help deploy the Model Hardware Standard (MHS) to labs doing the world’s most important research. You’ll scale what you learn in the field by contributing back to the standard, building scalable assets, and driving associated internal product and research direction.
Responsibilities
Work with labs to automate their experiments end-to-end with Claude - from advising, to prototyping, to writing production code.
Drive product, engineering and research direction based on field experience - e.g. building evals to measure limitations of our models in the physical world (capabilities and safety), developing new features on MHS, etc.
Scale your impact to the long tail of labs through reusable cookbooks, documentation, and other assets.
Be an EMEA ambassador for Claude in the lab - you’ll both inspire and build trust with scientific audiences, from small settings to large conferences.
This role will require significant travel
You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have
Hands-on experience connecting software to lab robots and instruments (liquid handlers, plate readers, scheduling software, LIMS), ideally in an automated lab.
Strong engineering skills: you can take an LLM-powered tool from prototype to production code, and write evals to measure its performance.
A scientist's instinct for how experiments work: you can spot what's worth automating, and where AI might fail or be unsafe in the physical world.
Experience working directly with external customers or partners in a technical role.
Clear written and verbal communication: you’ll write docs other labs can use without you and give talks that inspire and earn researchers' trust.
A scrappy mentality–comfortable wearing multiple hats, building from scratch, driving clarity in ambiguous situations, and doing whatever it takes to further the mission.
