- Direct experience with finance or accounting data, such as reconciliations, subledgers, cost basis or month-end close, including investigating discrepancies and validating outputs with accounting stakeholders.
- A track record of owning pipelines end to end, making sound technical decisions and improving reliability as requirements and systems evolve.
- Judgment and autonomy to lead complex work, navigate ambiguity and remain accountable for production outcomes.

An overview of this role
As a Customer Success Architect, you'll serve as a trusted strategic advisor and technical authority to some of GitLab's most complex and high-value Enterprise and Government customers across Japan. In this role, you will be driving and shaping how our largest customers adopt GitLab's intelligent DevSecOps platform to achieve their business goals and realise meaningful, long-term outcomes. You will be working closely with customers after the sale to turn pre-sales command plans into clear success plans, guide them through their customer journey, and drive adoption, utilization, and technical maturity. You will also be directly influencing renewal and expansion decisions through your post-sales engagements with executive-level decision makers in the account.
This is a individual-contributor role for someone who has already led pre or post sales customer engagements in large complex accounts across multiple industry domains to drive quantifiable business outcomes..The individual is comfortable operating with ambiguity, and can credibly advise VP- and C-level stakeholders on business transformation, application modernization, platform strategy, architecture, and organizational DevSecOps transformation. You'll also be shaping playbooks and best practices, and acting as an escalation point for the team's most technically or politically complex situations.
Reporting into the APJ Customer Success organization, you'll own a portfolio of GitLab's most strategic enterprise and Government accounts, act as the executive-level technical liaison for these accounts, and drive cross-functional resolution of their highest-priority issues — coordinating and, where needed, directing the efforts of Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Professional Services, and Support. You'll bring deep technical expertise in CI/CD, cloud platforms, multi-cloud, hybrid architecture and enterprise DevSecOps practices. You will use that expertise to shape customers' long-term platform strategy, apply best practices, configure GitLab for their environments and stay current with platform capabilities. In your first year, success will look like establishing yourself as the trusted senior advisor across a portfolio of flagship accounts, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, materially improving and increasing platform maturity, leading retention and renewal conversations, increasing customer satisfaction across your portfolio and contributing to the broader CSA team's technical standards and ways of working.

Owning end-to-end resolution of a critical, multi-team escalation for a flagship account — driving root cause analysis, coordinating Engineering/Product/Support, and personally briefing customer executives on remediation

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.

With over 30 years in business, we own and operate some of the fastest-growing enterprise software companies globally. More than 2,000 of the world’s largest corporations and governments rely on our software for their most critical operations and to safeguard their most valuable data.
We are looking for a Junior Support Engineer to join our team based at our Riverside Data Centre, California – this DC hosts infrastructure and equipment supporting multiple companies across our portfolio. This is a hands-on, junior technical role, ideal for someone looking to build their experience across IT support, hardware, networking, and data centre operations.
You’ll work alongside our existing Data Centre Engineer and wider IT teams, helping with day-to-day requests and providing on-site support when physical access to equipment is required. We’re not looking for someone who knows everything already; our goal is to identify someone practical, reliable and keen to learn, who is comfortable working with IT hardware and following technical instructions
Responsibilities:
Install, rack and cable servers, switches and other network equipment
Assist with basic installation and decommissioning of Data Centre hardware
Provide ‘Smart Hands’ support for our wider IT teams and portfolio companies
Carry out tasks such as power cycling equipment, checking connections, reseating cables and replacing basic components
Supporting our existing Data Centre Engineer when additional resource is needed
Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including checking cabling, ports, connections and device status
Escalate more complex infrastructure or networking issues to the appropriate engineer or technical team
Assist with laptop and end-user device management
Receive returned equipment and ensure assets are correctly recorded and stored; wipe and securely prepare laptops and other devices for re-use or disposal; configure and prepare devices to be shipped to new or existing users
Assist with IT asset and inventory management, including tracking equipment entering and leaving the Data Centre
Follow documented processes and maintain accurate records of work completed, and assist with other hands-on IT and Data Centre tasks as required
Requirements
A basic understanding of computer hardware and networking
Confidence working with laptops, desktops and other IT equipment
A basic understanding of network concepts such as IP addresses, switches, network ports and Ethernet connectivity
An interest in learning more about servers, networking and Data Centre infrastructure
The ability to follow technical instructions and documented processes carefully
Good organization, attention to detail and problem solving skills
A willingness to ask questions and escalate when something is outside your knowledge or experience.
Good communication skills and a helpful, service-focused attitude with the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and IT teams who may be based remotely
Preferred Requirements
Experience in any of the following would be useful, but is not essential:
Working in an IT Help Desk, Service Desk or desktop support environment
Installing or replacing computer hardware
Basic network troubleshooting
Server or network rack installation and cabling
Laptop imaging, configuration or device management
IT asset management
Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365
Working with a ticketing system such as Jira
CompTIA A+, Network+ or similar entry-level IT certifications
Benefits
This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of technologies and environments. You’ll work with infrastructure supporting multiple companies, giving you exposure to Data Centre operations, networking, servers, end-user computing and IT support.
For someone at the beginning of their IT career, it’s a great opportunity to develop practical skills while working alongside more experienced engineers and gradually taking on greater technical responsibility.
Compensation
The estimated compensation range for this role is $40,000 - $60,000/ year Gross USD. Actual compensation will be based on local market benchmarks and relevant experience.
