Location: Anywhere in Belgium, France HEALTH CAN’T WAIT. Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t. Alan exists to end the wait. Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way. So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience. We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR. Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond. At Alan, we want people to find the right product to take care of themselves, as early and as easily as possible. Getting a new pair of glasses usually means an appointment, a lost prescription, 47 frames tried on in a store, and a two-week delay. Most people put it off for months. The Shop is how Alan members get glasses, lenses and well-being products in a few clicks, covered by their insurance when possible. Most e-commerce teams are incentivized to sell more. We're incentivized to get members the right product at the right time for their health. We're looking for a fullstack engineer to join the Shop crew. One brief: help our members choose what is right for them, when it is right for them, in a few clicks. Everything else, we figure out together. ABOUT THE SHOP CREW The Shop crew is a fully autonomous product team that owns the whole lifecycle of the Shop: not just the code, but the whole business. Product managers, product marketers, ops specialists, designers, data scientists and engineers work side by side on one mission. What we've built so far: - An end-to-end optics experience: frames and lenses, virtual try-on, prescription scanning, and checkout priced against each member's coverage. - One commerce platform behind the whole Shop and its three verticals. - A growing well-being catalog: about 14 brands and 170 products today, thousands soon. The Shop is growing fast: more products, smoother flows, and an experience that's more and more integrated into the rest of Alan for our members. The crew needs to grow too, and that means plenty of new opportunities for engineers. WHAT YOU'LL DO The Shop is one of the most varied crews in Alan Engineering. In the same week, you might: - 🔌 Build integrations with our customized e-commerce back office, our in-house virtual try-on, suppliers and partner opticians. - 🛍️ Ship member-facing flows: dynamic catalogs, purchase flows tailored to each member's coverage, prescription scanning, returns, and out-of-pocket purchases like lens upgrades and extra pairs. - 🌿 Scale the catalog beyond optics, with discovery and personalized navigation that still work at thousands of products. - ⚖️ Navigate legal ground: e-commerce rules, invoicing, France's 100% Santé reform, and supplier compliance. Selling medical devices is not like selling socks. - 📣 Help products reach members in the Alan app, in campaigns, and through Mo, our AI health assistant. A shop that can't promote its products is just a warehouse. - 📦 Work with ops on orders, deliveries and customer service, so a two-day delay never surprises a member. You won't just write code. You'll question supplier contracts, debate marketing copy, and debug prescription-scanning logic. Some days it feels less like building software and more like running a small business. That's the point. And the impact is direct: when someone orders their glasses faster, they literally see better, sooner. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 8+ years building scalable software, with full-stack experience across backend and frontend. - A strong product mindset. You want to understand the why before the how, and you enjoy working with members, ops, legal and marketing. - Ownership from start to finish: you frame the problem, ship the solution, and watch the numbers afterwards. - Comfort with ambiguity and complex problems. You help shape the scope instead of waiting for a spec. - Clear communication with non-engineers, in English (French is a plus, since our first market is France). - Humility, curiosity, and a real interest in making healthcare more accessible. BONUS POINTS - Experience with e-commerce: catalogs, checkout, payments, order management, or a headless commerce platform like Saleor. - Curiosity about where e-commerce meets healthcare. - Experience with mobile (React Native) or with LLM-powered product features. HOW WE WORK - Our stack: React and React Native on the frontend, Python/Flask and PostgreSQL on the backend, all in one monorepo. Saleor powers our commerce back office. - We deploy daily, and the engineers who make product decisions are the ones who build them. - We use AI coding agents every day to move faster and focus on the hard problems. - You own decisions, outcomes and a whole domain, and your incentive is to build what's best for members. ⭐ THE ENGINEERING TEAM ⭐ In our engineering team, we build the infrastructure, interfaces, and applications to provide first-class service to our members, health professionals, and even ourselves! Being an engineer at Alan means joining a team of talented, committed and passionate engineers, with a lot of product interaction. We move fast, with a lot of ownership, and are proud to tackle big problems! Our process is very simple: those who make product decisions are the same ones who build them. Our stack is React, Python/Flask, PostgreSQL in a monorepo. If you are not familiar with this stack but are a keen learner, it is totally fine. We deploy daily and believe in distributed ownership - you build it, you own it. Want to know more? We are looking for people who want to help people live in good health to 100 while helping employers turn health benefits from a cost center into their most valuable investment.. 🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience leveraging AI workflows for meaningful development acceleration beyond autocomplete — code generation, refactoring, debugging, and test authoring at scale. When you join Solvd, you'll… - Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation. - Be part of a global team with equal opportunities for collaboration across continents and cultures. - Thrive in an inclusive environment that prioritizes continuous learning, innovation, and ethical AI standards. Ready to make an impact? If you're excited to build things that matter, champion responsible AI, and grow with some of the industry’s sharpest minds. Apply today and let’s innovate together. Solvd is an equal opportunity employer.

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan Workplace: OnSite Almaty, Kazakhstan · Trust & Safety Engineering Why this role exists Our ML and analytics teams already work on fraud detection and risk analysis. This role owns the backend that turns their signals into reliable protections across accounts, credits, payments, and generation. You'll integrate risk checks into product flows, build enforcement services and operator tools, and make sure controls work correctly in production. We're looking for an engineer we can trust to take a backend problem from an unclear starting point to a working solution. What you'll actually do - Risk integrations: connect existing ML scores and risk signals to account creation, credit usage, payments, and generation flows, with clear timeouts and fallback behavior. - Enforcement services: implement configurable rules, rate limits, account restrictions, and credit or payment controls with consistent behavior across services. - Operator tooling: build APIs and workflows for reviewing cases, inspecting decision history, and safely applying or reversing restrictions. - Production reliability: handle retries, duplicate events, concurrent requests, and safe rollouts; add monitoring and audit trails so failures can be traced and fixed. - Work in other teams’ codebases to add signals or interventions without hurting their stability or architecture. - Ownership: clarify the control with ML, analytics, and operations → scope the smallest useful implementation → ship → verify production behavior and review impact with the team. Our release cycle is days, not quarters, so your first shipped protection happens fast. Must-haves 1. You've taken a difficult problem from an unclear starting point to a working system used in production, and can explain your own decisions, contribution, and results. 2. You can build reliable backend services: APIs, data models, queues, transactions, idempotency, and concurrency. You can integrate external services and debug failures across the request and event lifecycle. 3. You choose the next steps, remove blockers, and ask for help when needed. You cut scope to test an idea, adapt from evidence, and keep working through difficult problems. 4. You work with ML, analytics, and operations to turn risk requirements into clear backend behavior. You use operator feedback and customer cases to improve controls and learn unfamiliar systems quickly. 5. You take feedback, change your mind when the evidence changes, and do the work the team needs. You share knowledge and responsibility so others can operate and extend what you build. Who this is not for - You prefer problems where requirements stay stable after launch. - You prefer work centered on training models or producing analysis rather than building and operating backend services. Nice to have - Fraud prevention, payments risk, or platform abuse experience. - Integrating risk-scoring services or building rules engines and rate limiters. - Case management, appeals, and risk operations tooling. - Familiarity with Stripe. - Experience building real-time scoring, graph-based account linkage systems. - Python/Go experience. Interview process 1. Recruiter screen: role expectations, logistics, and fit. 2. Technical interview: a difficult system you shipped, what you personally decided and built, and how your work made the team more capable without leaving it dependent on you. 3. Additional technical interview, if needed: a deeper discussion of technical skills and open questions. 4. Product fit interview: take an existing risk signal and an operator need, scope a backend protection, and work through failure cases and effects on legitimate customers. 5. Offer. What we offer Competitive base in USD, equity, relocation support, and ownership of protections that preserve both company revenue and customer trust.

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan Workplace: OnSite Almaty, Kazakhstan · Trust & Safety Engineering Why this role exists An agent needs more than a model response to complete useful work. It needs tools, durable execution, permissions, context, and a way to recover when something fails. You'll build the backend that lets Higgsfield agents carry creative tasks from a user's request to a finished result. We're looking for an engineer we can trust with a problem: work out what is worth building, build it, and carry it through to users. What you'll actually do - Agent execution: build orchestration for multi-step tasks, tool calls, streaming updates, and cancellation. - Durable workflows: implement checkpoints, resumability, retries, and recovery without duplicating actions. - Tools and integrations: connect agents to generation, editing, and external services through clear, validated interfaces. - Execution boundaries: enforce user permissions, tenant isolation, resource limits, and approval requirements for consequential actions. - Evaluation and observability: trace failures, build regression cases, and improve task completion, latency, and cost. - Ownership: understand a real user task → define success and build evaluation cases → scope the simplest useful workflow → ship → measure completion, reliability, and dollar impact → improve from failed runs. Our release cycle is days, not quarters, so your first shipped agent capability happens fast. Must-haves 1. You've taken a difficult problem from an unclear starting point to a working system used in production, and can explain your own decisions, contribution, and results. 2. You can build reliable agent execution: state machines, concurrency, queues, recovery, model APIs, secure tool calls, and repeatable evaluations. You learn unfamiliar tools quickly and understand what you ship. 3. You choose the next steps, remove blockers, and ask for help when needed. You cut scope to test an idea, adapt from evidence, and keep working through difficult problems. 4. You investigate real user tasks and failed agent runs, use feedback to choose what to automate, and stop workflows that do not help users finish their work. 5. You take feedback, change your mind when the evidence changes, and do the work the team needs. You share knowledge and responsibility so others can operate and extend what you build. Who this is not for - You prefer deterministic application behavior without investigating model uncertainty. - You prefer prototyping without owning evaluation, recovery, and production reliability. Nice to have - Production agents, workflow engines, or developer tools. - High-throughput systems with heavy traffic, large data volumes, or many long-running jobs. - Agent context management, memory, subagents, or parallel tool calls. - Sandboxed execution and scoped authorization. - Multimodal workflows involving images, video, or audio. 4. Product fit interview: scope a useful tool-using workflow, evaluate failures, and explain when user feedback would lead you to change or stop it. 5. Offer. What we offer Competitive base in USD, equity, relocation support, and ownership of systems that turn AI capabilities into completed creative work.
