About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Life Sciences team is building a research group focused on biological discoveries by combining AI with hands-on biological research. We're seeking a research scientist who combines deep chemistry knowledge with machine learning expertise to join the team. Our goal is to speed up progress in the life sciences by an order of magnitude, and this role puts that mission into practice. You'll be a computational chemist who knows reactions, synthesis, and medicinal chemistry in depth and has hands-on experience training and evaluating machine learning models. Above all, you'll build the reinforcement learning environments, datasets, and evaluations that teach Claude chemistry. Working alongside our bench chemists and AI researchers, you'll turn real chemistry problems and experimental data into training tasks and measure whether the models get better at them.
This role is fully on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Key responsibilities
Design and build reinforcement learning environments for chemistry end to end, including task design, data curation, automated grading, and checks against shortcuts and data leakage
Design and source new experimental datasets, environments, and evaluations with our bench chemists, and external research and academic partners
Develop evaluations that measure model performance on real chemistry tasks, such as reaction outcome prediction, synthesis planning, structure elucidation, and compound design, and feed results back to research teams
Run and analyze training experiments with AI research teams, diagnose where models fail at chemistry, and prioritize what to build next
Ensure datasets and environments are high quality and well documented, including sources, train and test splits, and failure modes
Communicate findings clearly to chemistry, AI research, and life sciences audiences
Minimum qualifications
PhD in chemistry, computational chemistry, or a related field
Deep knowledge of organic and medicinal chemistry, including reactions, synthesis, and SAR, with experimental data as your ground truth
Strong Python skills and solid machine learning fundamentals, with hands-on experience training and evaluating models
Comfort navigating ambiguity and defining problems in a rapidly evolving research environment
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
Experience with reinforcement learning, large language models, or building evaluations and benchmarks
Track record of supporting drug discovery programs alongside medicinal and synthetic chemists
Experience curating chemistry datasets from the literature, patents, or lab notebooks, including reaction, ADMET, and spectroscopic data
Cheminformatics and molecular modeling skills, for example RDKit, docking, free energy calculations, or quantum chemistry
Hands-on synthetic or medicinal chemistry experience at the bench
Publications, patents, or open-source software demonstrating scientific impact

Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

Travel:
Approximately 3-4 trips per year, including at least one to a country of operation and one to a key in-person leadership moment.
About this role
We are currently planning for a significant increase in scale, and we are building the People function that can carry it.
This is our first senior talent management role. Today we have pieces of talent management programs and processes in place, but not yet a function. You will build one: an intentional approach to how we onboard, develop, and retain our people. That covers performance management and its link to pay, manager and leadership development, learning, onboarding, talent planning and succession, employee listening and engagement, and culture and values.
The first year is weighted toward four priorities: joining the redesign of our performance system early, alongside the Head of People, and owning it as it moves into execution, as we move to pay for performance, revamping onboarding ahead of our next wave of hiring, planning our values retreat for senior leaders, and getting a read on employee listening and engagement. As those take shape, the balance shifts toward the longer-term build: the vision and roadmap for the function, a foundational manager program, talent planning and succession, and the team around you.
The reason for this weight: the performance system and onboarding are our most acute gaps today, but they should not be construed as a ceiling of the job. We are hiring a senior talent management leader who can shape the whole function over several years, not the owner of one or two programs. If your instinct on reading this is that the performance redesign is the whole job, this role probably isn’t the right fit, and the reverse is also true: if you want to set strategy but not build the first versions yourself, year one will frustrate you.
What you’ll do
Build the talent management function
Within your first 90 days, assess what exists today across these areas, recommend the sequencing for the first year, and agree to it with the Head of People.
Set the vision and multi-year roadmap for talent management across the areas it covers, and sequence the work against the People roadmap.
Propose the team around it, and decide what we build in-house and what we buy or borrow.
Connect talent management to workforce planning, compensation, and recruitment, in partnership with the Head of People, Finance, and function leaders.
Build an approach to talent and succession planning, starting with critical roles: work with leaders to identify succession gaps, assess potential successors, and put development plans in place to prepare people for future opportunities.
Own the performance system
Join the performance system redesign early, alongside the Head of People, and own it as it moves into execution: a system that produces reliable, calibrated outputs to inform merit increases, connected to our new salary bands.
Make the system worth using, not a check-the-box exercise: one that helps managers hold better performance and development conversations and gives employees clarity on expectations, feedback, and growth.
Build calibration and the data around it so ratings and merit decisions stay consistent and fair across countries, currencies, and manager quality.
Set a clear global standard for handling low performance that doesn’t default to a misconduct process, and equip managers to use it.
Ensure the performance system helps managers identify and support sustained high performance, connecting it to recognition, development, and career growth opportunities.
Iterate the system through multiple cycles, using calibration, outcome data, and feedback from managers and employees to improve it.
Build how people join, learn, and are led
Revamp onboarding ahead of our next wave of hiring: own the content and experience for new hires and their managers, working with People Ops on process and systems.
Build a foundational manager program and the tools behind it: feedback, coaching, difficult conversations, and performance management.
Extend into leadership development and broader learning as the function matures.
Shape culture and listen to employees
Plan the values retreat with an external facilitator and our executive sponsor, and own what carries into daily work afterward.
Get a read on listening and engagement today, covering what we hear, where it goes, and what should change, and use it to build our employee listening strategy.
What this role is not
Not a recruiting role. Hiring sits with our Talent Acquisition team. You partner with them on the handoff into onboarding and on how we assess and develop talent once people are here.
Not the owner of compensation design. Pay structures and bands are set through our compensation work. You own how performance is assessed and how ratings connect to pay decisions.
Not an employee relations or casework role. Cases in country belong to managers and HR Managers, supported by the People team. You own the performance system and the manager capability that helps them handle concerns well.
Not the owner of HR systems or process administration. Onboarding workflows and our HRIS sit with People Ops. You own the content and the experience.
Who we’re looking for
Required
7+ years in talent management, performance, or organizational design roles, including time leading a function or a major part of one.
You have designed a performance system, not only administered one. You can show how ratings connected to pay and what you changed after the first cycle.
You have kept a rating and pay system fair across contexts with different currencies, labor markets, and manager quality.
You are a hands-on builder. You have built talent management programs and systems from scratch, or close to it, in a start-up or scale-up: performance, onboarding, manager development, or a whole function, where what you needed did not exist and you built it while the volume was already arriving. We are not looking for steady-state operating experience, or for leaders who have overseen this work without building it themselves.
You think in systems. You can show how a change in one part of a talent system, such as ratings, calibration, pay, promotion, or onboarding, shows up in the others, and you reason from the underlying problem rather than copying another organization’s template.
You design with change management in mind from the start. You plan for how managers and employees in different countries and cultures will adopt a new program or system as part of the design, not as a rollout step afterward, and can show how you knew it stuck rather than being worked around.
You have deep experience in at least two of onboarding, manager development, and employee engagement or listening, and working experience in the third. You have built programs and content people actually used, and can show how you knew they worked.
A track record of joining a major project already in motion, taking it over, and working through disagreement with a senior partner, and of influencing without formal authority in a matrixed organization.
Judgment and prioritization. You decide what slips and say so plainly.
Preferred
Experience in a mission-driven or international organization, ideally alongside high-growth commercial or tech experience.
Experience working across multiple countries, including sub-Saharan Africa.
Experience working with external facilitators, consultants, or vendors, and knowing what to hand off and what to hold.
Comfort using data (survey, performance, calibration) to make decisions, and knowing when the numbers mislead.
Exposure to compensation design or close work with a total rewards team.
Professional French or Portuguese.

Anthropic is an AI safety and research company working to build reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our customers and society as a whole. As an Enforcement Analyst focused on Agentic Alignment, you will play a crucial role in identifying and investigating harmful and unexpected behavior by models, and make enforcement decisions accordingly. You'll work closely with a suite of cross-functional teams, within and outside of Safeguards, including: Policy, Threat Intel, Engineering, Research, and Transparency. Your work will be essential in maintaining Anthropic's commitment to safe and beneficial AI as Claude takes on more autonomous work.
Important context for this role: In this position you may be exposed to and engage with explicit content spanning a range of topics, including those of a sexual, violent, or psychologically disturbing nature. There is also an on-call responsibility across the Policy and Enforcement teams.
Key responsibilities
Review and investigate potential instances of Agentic Misalignment, working from transcripts, tool-use traces, and code
Triage cases by severity and urgency and share through the appropriate channels
Help operationalize review pipelines for agentic cases, translating leads from detection outputs and investigations into structured review workflows that scale
Make enforcement decisions under the Usage Policy, applying it consistently to novel agentic scenarios and across surfaces, and documenting the reasoning behind each decision
Assess cyber-related agentic activity, such as scanning, exploitation attempts, credential misuse or malicious code to determine its real-world harm potential
Write clear, well-evidenced case write-ups for audiences ranging from enforcement peers to senior leadership
Identify patterns and trends across cases, and close the loop between enforcement outcomes and upstream improvements by feeding findings back to policy, detection and research teams to improve policies, classifiers and model behavior
Maintain rigorous documentation of enforcement decisions, review logic and precedents to build institutional knowledge
Collaborate with Threat Intelligence, Research, Engineering and Policy partners so that detection coverage keeps pace with how agentic misuse and misaligned behavior evolve
Use AI systems, including Claude, to accelerate your own investigations: summarizing long transcripts, analyzing code, querying data and building lightweight tooling
Contribute to regular reports on agentic harm trends and enforcement outcomes
Minimum qualifications
Can read and understand code (for example Python, JavaScript or shell scripts) well enough to follow what happened and why it matters
Have a background in security, cyber threat intelligence, or a similar technical field that lets you understand how cyber harm happens and judge its severity
Have experience in trust and safety, enforcement, investigations or a related field, translating ambiguous policy questions and facts into defensible enforcement decisions and clear written findings
Have conducted structured investigations, building a case from first signal to final finding and knowing when the evidence is strong enough to act on
Have supported or contributed to formal enforcement actions, including case documentation, evidence packaging and escalation coordination
Write clearly and concisely, and can present complex findings to stakeholders across Legal, Policy and Engineering, including non-technical audiences
Have sound judgment about when a case needs escalation, and the resilience to work with difficult content
Preferred qualifications
Have demonstrated use of AI systems to accelerate your own work, and are excited to keep finding new ways to do so
Are comfortable working with large volumes of data, from long transcripts, logs and traces to complex, multi-table datasets, and surfacing the behavioral patterns that matter
Are curious about how AI agents behave, and enjoy investigating behavior no one has categorized before, building approaches where established playbooks don’t exist
Have familiarity with AI safety and alignment, and current debates about the risks of increasingly autonomous AI systems

Minimum qualifications
Experience running incidents or urgent escalations from start to finish in trust and safety, security, platform integrity, crisis management, or a comparable field, and readiness to lead high-severity incidents with support
Hands-on experience with incidents where someone was abusing or misusing a product or platform, such as account compromise, fraud, or coordinated malicious activity
Ability to make clear decisions under time pressure, record your reasoning, and recognize when a decision belongs to Legal, Policy, or leadership
Ability to write short, accurate updates that an executive can act on and that hold up to legal and external scrutiny
Experience coordinating people across many functions who do not report to you, securing their commitments, and following through on them
Experience improving an operational process on your own initiative, and the ability to tell which steps need a person and which can be automated
Willingness to do hands-on queue work as a regular part of the job, and to treat it as a source of information about what is breaking
Ability to participate in after-hours and weekend incident coverage on a rotating basis
Preferred qualifications
Experience joining an incident response function early and helping write runbooks and review processes
Experience with incidents involving AI systems
Experience with the enforcement steps that follow an incident, such as account actions, law enforcement referrals, or user and customer notifications

ABOUT SENTRY
Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building.
Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced engineering leader to own one of the most critical areas within Platform: the runtime and stateful systems Sentry runs on. You'll lead multiple engineering teams and Staff engineers responsible for OLTP and OLAP databases, real-time compute and stream processing, blob storage, and distributed caching.
These systems power Sentry's products, including Seer, and are mission-critical to the business. When they perform well, every product team moves faster. When they don't, the whole company feels the impact.
You'll set the technical vision across these systems, lead significant architectural changes, and develop the engineering leaders and teams responsible for building and operating them. This role requires someone who brings deep technical judgment, thinks strategically, and has a track record of driving complex engineering initiatives from concept through execution.
You'll have the opportunity to shape both the technical direction and organizational growth of a critical part of Sentry's platform as our products and infrastructure continue to evolve.
This is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with an expectation of working from our San Francisco office three days per week.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Lead multiple engineering teams and Staff engineers responsible for the runtime and stateful systems supporting Sentry, Seer, and the products built on top of them.
- Set the technical vision and strategy across multiple systems, identifying opportunities to evolve our architecture as the business scales.
- Drive significant architectural changes and technical initiatives, making informed tradeoffs around scalability, reliability, performance, cost, and complexity.
- Provide technical leadership across teams, working closely with senior engineers to evaluate architectural decisions, challenge assumptions, and establish technical direction.
- Own the execution and operational excellence of mission-critical systems, ensuring teams deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing platform components.
- Build and develop a strong engineering organization, including hiring, mentoring, and growing engineering managers and senior technical leaders.
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, technical accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner across Platform, Infrastructure, and Product to align priorities, navigate ambiguity, and deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Anticipate evolving product and infrastructure needs, identifying opportunities to build new platform capabilities and improve existing systems.
YOU'LL LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU
- Enjoy solving complex distributed systems problems and have strong opinions about architecture, backed by experience and sound technical judgment.
- Thrive in roles where you're equally responsible for technical direction, execution, and developing engineering leaders.
- Like taking ownership of ambiguous technical challenges, establishing a clear strategy, and bringing teams together to execute.
- Are passionate about building large-scale systems where reliability, performance, and efficiency directly impact the business.
- Enjoy partnering with senior engineers, challenging technical assumptions, and helping teams make thoughtful architectural decisions.
- Take pride in building high-performing teams, developing future leaders, and raising the engineering bar.
- Want to shape the runtime foundation supporting Sentry's products and AI capabilities for years to come.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 12+ years of experience in backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering, with significant experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Director-level engineering management experience, or equivalent senior engineering leadership experience overseeing multiple teams at comparable scale and complexity.
- Deep technical expertise in at least one of the following domains:
- OLTP databases
- OLAP databases
- Real-time compute and stream processing

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is looking for a Communications Lead to own external communications for the Claude Platform, our API. The Claude Platform is how many of our customers put Claude to work, and this role shapes how that work is understood beyond Anthropic: from flagship product launches to the steady cadence of capability releases and developer-facing news.
You'll sit on the Product Communications team and work day to day with the Platform product and engineering teams, Product Marketing, and Developer Relations.
You should understand how developers and enterprises actually build with APIs and be comfortable engaging with developer tools and hold a clear point of view on what makes a product land.
Key responsibilities
Own communications for the Claude Platform end to end: capability releases, product updates, and the steady cadence of developer-facing news
Build and maintain strong relationships with the journalists, newsletter writers, and creators covering AI platforms, enterprise software, and the API economy
Prepare Platform leaders to be effective spokespeople for press, podcasts, panels, and the smaller moments in between
Partner with Product and Engineering to align external narratives with how these products are sold and supported, and surface customer feedback back to the teams who can act on it
Work across press, social, owned, and community channels, with the judgment to know which one carries a given moment and when to coordinate more than one at once
Minimum qualifications
Experience in communications, PR, or product marketing, including meaningful time on platform, API, developer, or enterprise products
An understanding of both developer culture and enterprise buying, and the judgment to read timing and tone when the conversation around AI gets noisy
Strong instincts for which product moments deserve the spotlight and which don't, and genuine curiosity about what makes a launch land
A demonstrated ability to operate with high agency and low ego, with a bias to action
Preferred qualifications
8-10 years of experience in communications, PR, or product marketing
Communications experience at a developer platform, API-first, or enterprise software company
Existing relationships with reporters and analysts covering AI platforms, enterprise tech, or the developer ecosystem
Experience managing communications for AI or ML products
Are very online: you follow the right channels, know what's moving through Hacker News and developer social chatter, and catch things early
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:

As an Intermediate Backend Engineer on the GitLab Orbit team, you'll help build and operate a graph data service that supports GitLab Duo agents, analytics, and architecture-level features across GitLab.com, Dedicated, and Self-Managed deployments. You'll join a Rust-first team that values clear ownership, thoughtful system design, and rigorous thinking about data and reliability.
The Knowledge Graph service is a Rust backend that builds a property graph from GitLab’s software development lifecycle (SDLC) and code data. It uses ClickHouse, NATS JetStream, and the Data Insights Platform. It exposes secure graph queries and MCP tools used by AI agents and product features. In this role, you’ll deliver features and improvements in well-scoped areas, learn the broader architecture, and contribute to reliability, observability, and operational readiness.
In your first year, you’ll take clear ownership of specific components or features (for example, parts of the SDLC indexing pipeline or query paths). You’ll help reduce single points of failure with better tests and runbooks, and you’ll help the team ship analytical services that are easier to maintain and evolve over time.
What you’ll do
Implement and iterate on backend features in the Rust-based Knowledge Graph service, including changes to the query engine, SDLC and code indexing flows, and API endpoints (including MCP endpoints) under guidance from senior and staff engineers.
Maintain integrations between Knowledge Graph and the rest of the GitLab platform, working in areas that touch GitLab Rails, the Data Insights Platform (Siphon, NATS, ClickHouse), and GitLab Duo Agent Platform.
Contribute to system design discussions by proposing options, raising questions, and documenting decisions, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability for analytical graph workloads.
Improve the operational maturity of the service by adding or enhancing metrics, logging, runbooks, alerts, and small readiness tasks, and by participating in on-call rotation as appropriate for your level and experience.
Collaborate asynchronously with product, data, infrastructure, security, and AI counterparts to clarify requirements, align on scope, and ship features safely for customers and sustainably for the team.
Use AI-assisted development workflows responsibly (for example, using Knowledge Graph-backed agents and internal Duo tooling), and share what works with the team while keeping a strong focus on code quality and correctness.
Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and pairing to both learn from others and help maintain consistent standards across the codebase.
Contribute across the stack when needed, including occasional Ruby work for Rails integration and authorization paths, or small frontend changes related to Knowledge Graph features (for example, Software Architecture Map UI plumbing).
What you’ll bring
Professional experience building and maintaining backend systems in production, with an understanding of reliability, maintainability, and how to support services over time (for example, incident response and follow-ups).
Proficiency in at least one modern backend language and strong interest in Rust, with either prior Rust experience or clear evidence you can ramp quickly and deliver in a Rust-first, performance-sensitive codebase.
Some exposure to distributed data or analytics systems (for example, OLAP databases, Kafka- or NATS-style messaging, or change data capture (CDC) pipelines), or strong motivation to develop those skills in this role.
Interest in graph data modeling and query patterns (property graphs, multi-step (n-hop) traversals, aggregations), and willingness to learn the tools and concepts used in Knowledge Graph over time.
Practical experience (or strong interest) using AI tools in day-to-day development, along with a thoughtful approach to validating outputs and integrating AI into your workflow.
A language-agnostic mindset and evidence that you can pick up new languages and frameworks as needed (for example, Ruby, Go, or TypeScript/Vue where the work touches adjacent systems).
Solid fundamentals in system design for your level, including the ability to reason about trade-offs, ask good questions, and align your implementation work with documented architectural decisions.
Comfort working in a low-process, high-ownership environment where you take responsibility for your work, refine problem statements with teammates, and communicate progress clearly in writing across time zones in an all-remote team.
About the team
GitLab Orbit sits within the Data Engineering organization. We work closely with partners across AI (Duo Agent Platform), analytics, infrastructure and delivery, and security because our work spans many parts of the platform.
We collaborate asynchronously rather than following a feature factory model. A key challenge for us right now is scaling sustainably as usage grows and team members take time off. That includes hardening multi-tenant behavior. At the same time, we're bringing Knowledge Graph to
