- Location: FInland, Germany or Spain
- Department: Global Supply Chain
- Reports to: Global Director Supply Chain
- Employment type: Permanent
- Workplace model: Hybrid

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS - THE MISSION
We are seeking a strategic, commercially and legally strong Director, Supply Chain Strategy to shape how ICEYE secures, de-risks and scales the supply base behind the world's largest multisensor satellite constellation.
You will own ICEYE's global supply chain strategy: how we assess and manage supplier risk, which suppliers we develop as long-term partners, and where we vertically integrate through partnerships, licensing, joint ventures or acquisitions. You will also define and own our supplier portal landscape, the digital backbone of how we collaborate with suppliers. Finally, you will own how ICEYE meets local content requirements, supporting our local entities as they select and onboard in-country suppliers.
This role is for a leader who moves comfortably between the boardroom and the engineering bench: credible with executives, investors and partners, and equally credible with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and supplier engineers.
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.
ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system.
ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defense and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.
Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
Your day-to-day responsibilities
1. GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN STRATEGY
- Define and own ICEYE's global supply chain strategy, aligned with company, program and production roadmaps, and translate it into a multi-year plan with clear priorities, targets and KPIs.
- Establish and run a structured supplier risk assessment framework covering financial health, capacity, single and sole sourcing, geopolitical and export control exposure, security and compliance.
- Build and maintain a supplier risk heat-map across all critical commodities and suppliers, and use it to drive mitigation plans, dual sourcing and inventory strategies.
- Own supplier due diligence for new and strategic suppliers, including ownership and security screening, ESG and compliance checks, in close cooperation with Legal, Security and Quality.
- Lead supplier development programs that lift capability, quality and capacity of strategic suppliers, and grow a resilient, sovereign-capable supply base for defense and dual-use customers.
2. STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS & VENTURES
- Identify, evaluate and execute vertical integration opportunities where owning or controlling critical technologies, processes or capacity creates strategic advantage.
- Support the negotiation of long-term and strategic supply agreements, including pricing, capacity reservation, IP, liability, security and exit terms.
- Structure and negotiate license agreements and joint venture agreements with industrial and technology partners.
- Act as the M&A lead in the vertical integration domain: build the target pipeline, lead technical and operational due diligence, shape business cases and drive post-merger integration of acquired capabilities into the supply chain.
- Work closely with Corporate Development, Finance and Legal, and present recommendations to the executive team and board.
3. SUPPLIER PORTALS
- Define and own ICEYE's supplier portal strategy, roadmap and architecture.
- Lead the selection, implementation and continuous improvement of supplier portals for onboarding, qualification, forecasting, order collaboration, document exchange and performance scorecards.
- Ensure portals integrate with ERP and PLM, and meet ICEYE's information security and export control requirements.
- Drive supplier adoption and use portal data to improve visibility, risk monitoring and decision making.
4. LOCAL CONTENT & LOCAL SUPPLY
- Own ICEYE's approach to local content, industrial participation and offset requirements in customer programs and sovereign missions.
- Assess local content obligations early in bids and contracts, and translate them into sourcing plans with clear targets and tracking.
- Support ICEYE's local entities in identifying, assessing, selecting and onboarding local suppliers, applying ICEYE's risk assessment, due diligence and qualification standards.
- Develop local suppliers so they can meet ICEYE's technical, quality and security requirements, and integrate them into the global supply base and supplier portals.
- Report on local content performance and compliance to program teams, local entity leadership and customers.
5. LEADERSHIP & ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT
- Build, lead and develop a team of supply chain strategy, strategic sourcing and supplier management professionals, including managers.
- Define the operating model, workflows and governance for strategic sourcing and supply continuity across electronics, mechanical, electromechanical and specialty process categories.
- Develop hiring profiles, succession plans and long-term talent strategies to scale the organization.
- Foster a culture of urgency, technical rigor, proactive risk management and high accountability.
6. SECURING SERIAL SUPPLY CONTINUITY
- Partner with the Supply Chain Category Managers, who own category strategies and day-to-day supply continuity for serial production, and ensure the supply chain strategy actively supports their goals.
- Identify structural supply risks that category management alone cannot resolve, such as single and sole sources, capacity bottlenecks, obsolescence, technology dependencies and geopolitical exposure.
- Propose and execute structural solutions that secure continuous supply: strategic partnerships, long-term supply agreements, licensing, joint ventures, vertical integration and M&A.
- Build business cases with Category Management, Finance and Engineering that compare make, buy, partner and acquire options.
- Track how these initiatives improve supply security, lead-times and cost at rate.
7. SUPPORTING SUPPLIER ENGAGEMENT
- Support the Supply Chain Category Managers, who own the relationships with suppliers in their categories, including executive-level engagement with strategic suppliers where needed.
- Bring the strategic view into supplier relationships: risk heat-map findings, due diligence results, supplier development needs and partnership or integration opportunities.
- Support Category Managers in negotiations that need long-term agreements, capacity commitments or partnership structures.
8. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL & EXECUTIVE ALIGNMENT
- Act as the senior supply chain voice in executive, engineering, program management and manufacturing forums.
- Translate evolving technical and business requirements into executable supply chain strategies across electronics, mechanical and system-level builds.
- Communicate risks, mitigation plans and critical dependencies proactively to leadership and program teams.
9. RISK MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT-TO-PRODUCTION CONTINUITY
- Identify and mitigate risks to continuous supply, including component availability, obsolescence, material constraints, export limitations, supplier capacity and financial stability.
- Ensure supply risks are visible at program milestones and production readiness reviews (PRR).
- Drive early qualification of alternate components, materials, processes and sources.
- Ensure engineering and product teams understand how design decisions affect supply resilience, lead-times and cost at rate.
- Support Continuous Production Configurations with sourcing strategies that scale across electronics and mechanical domains.
What we’re looking for
Must haves:
- MBA and/or a law degree (LL.M. or equivalent), combined with a technical background, ideally a degree in engineering or a related discipline.

- Proven track record of defining and executing supply chain strategy, including supplier risk management, supplier due diligence and supplier development programs.
- Hands-on experience negotiating and structuring strategic supply agreements, license agreements and joint ventures, and supporting or leading M&A transactions, ideally in a vertical integration context.
- Strong understanding of commercial and contract law, including IP, liability, compliance and export control topics.
- Solid technical understanding of hardware supply chains.
- Experience defining and implementing supplier portals or supplier collaboration platforms integrated with ERP and PLM.
- Demonstrated success securing continuous supply in serial or rate production environments.
- Strong executive communication, negotiation, commercial and cross-functional leadership skills.
Nice to haves:
- Experience in space, aerospace, defense or other regulated high-reliability industries.
- Familiarity with export control regimes (EU dual-use, ITAR/EAR) and security-cleared supply chains, and with local content, industrial participation or offset requirements in defense programs.
- Experience in corporate development, M&A advisory, strategy consulting or legal counsel for industrial transactions.
- Experience building supply chains across Europe, North America and Asia.

About seQura
seQura provides innovative, flexible and easy-to-use payment technologies that help merchants acquire, convert and retain more customers.
We make a difference in sales performance by tailoring our solutions to different sectors, to address their unique pain points and deliver superior results in Retail, Education, Eyewear, Repairs and Travel.
We also empower smart shopping to consumers who seek more value, convenience, and flexibility in their shopping, with new payment experiences that allow them to save, access interest-free credit, or pay in small, comfortable installments of up to 24 months.
Born in Barcelona, seQura is a privately-owned fintech, currently expanding throughout southern Europe and Latin America, growing above 50% CAGR.
Over 6000 businesses, almost 3 million shoppers, and almost 400 employees continue to rate us as one of the most loved and trusted fintechs out there, with an NPS of 87%, a Trustpilot rating of 4.7/5, and a Glassdoor rating of 4.1/5.
About the role
🤓
We're looking for a
Senior Platform Engineer
to join our Platform team and help us build the platform that lets every engineer at seQura ship safely, quickly, and on their own.
seQura is expanding into new international markets, and the platform has to grow with it without growing its cost at the same pace. At the same time, AI is changing how infrastructure is built and run. We already put AI agents to work on our everyday platform work, from reviewing infrastructure changes and explaining plans to helping engineers resolve incidents on their own. Our goal is to go much further: independent agents working across the whole scope of the platform, with engineers who decide what matters and own the outcome.
You'll work in a cloud-native AWS environment, in a regulated fintech, where security, compliance, and reliability are part of the product we offer to the rest of engineering.
How we build at seQura
🤖
AI-assisted development is how our engineers work every day. We use AI agents to think through problems, write, review and iterate on code, and we're looking for engineers who already work this way, or are actively making the shift.
What matters to us isn't whether you know the syntax and idioms of your preferred programming language or tech stack by heart. It's whether you understand the problem you're solving, can explain the business logic behind it, and own every line you ship, no matter who (or what) wrote it first.
AI helps you move faster, challenge assumptions, explore different approaches and improve your solutions. But knowing which questions to ask, making sound technical and product decisions, and taking responsibility for the outcome is always up to you.
Our technical interviews reflect this approach: you'll use your own AI tools, and we'll ask you to walk us through your solution, both the business reasoning and the code.
If you're only interested in technical challenges without engaging in the product decisions behind them, or you'd rather not work with AI, this probably isn't the right role for you.
About the Platform team
🧩
Team Mission
To empower engineers with secure, efficient, and compliant infrastructure, while continuously improving through automation and collaboration.
What we own
Our multi-account
AWS
foundation and the
Kubernetes (EKS)
clusters where seQura's products run
Infrastructure as Code
with Terragrunt, delivered through pull requests and Atlantis
Deployment and GitOps tooling: Helm charts, shared deploy configuration, and CI/CD pipelines
The
observability
stack used across engineering: metrics, logs, traces, and alerting
Security and compliance foundations: secrets management, access control, PCI DSS, and the controls required to operate regulated entities across multiple countries under regulations such as DORA, NIS2 and those still to come.
Internal developer tooling, including the AI agents and Claude Code plugins that engineers use to work with our platform on their own
How we work
We're enablers: internal teams are our customers, and we measure success by how much they can do without us
We're autonomous end-to-end: we code, deploy, observe, improve, and document what we build
Everything as code, everything through a pull request, everything reviewed, and every important decision written down in an ADR
Strong opinions, held weakly; collaborators over rock stars; blameless by default
We plan by quarter and choose initiatives by their impact on users and on the business
We work closely with every product engineering team, with Security, with the Data Platform team, and with Compliance.
What challenges you'll be solving 🚀
International expansion
: help seQura launch in multiple new markets, with the isolation, compliance, and reliability each one requires
AI-native platform
: move from AI that assists us to independent agents that operate across the whole scope of the platform, from infrastructure changes to support and incident response
Keeping up with open source in the AI era
: define new strategies to adopt, upgrade, and secure the open source software we depend on, now that it moves faster than ever
Scale without raising our baseline cost
: design the strategies that let the business keep growing while our base infrastructure cost stays flat
What to expect in the next 90 days
🏁
Month 1:
Learn the terrain 🧭
You'll join initiatives the team already has in motion, pairing with your teammates and shipping your first changes to production. You'll learn how we work, why we made the decisions we made, and what the rest of engineering expects from us.
By the end of the month: you've shipped to production and you know who to ask for what.
Month 2:
Own your first mission 🎯
We'll hand you an opportunity the team has already identified, and it's yours: from the technical design to running it in production. You'll keep discovering seQura along the way, and we'll be there whenever you need context.
By the end of the month: you've delivered an initiative end-to-end and you have your own opinion on where the platform should go next.
Month 3:
Shape what comes next 🚀
With more context, you'll be the one finding the opportunity. You'll talk with other teams to understand their friction, lead a cross-team initiative, and bring your own proposals to the planning of next quarter.
By the end of the month: part of next quarter's roadmap has your name on it.
What we are looking for🤝
Must have:
You've
designed and operated highly available distributed systems in production, and you've lived through what happens when they fail
: incidents, post-mortems, and the changes that made sure it didn't happen again
Proven experience
scaling infrastructure at a global scale
Strong hands-on experience with
AWS
,
Kubernetes

Terraform
in production
A
product mindset
: you put users and the business at the center of your decisions, and you can explain why one initiative matters more than another

Experience with Terragrunt, Atlantis, or GitOps workflows
Scripting or programming in Python, Go, or similar

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
Wolt is building the delivery of almost everything, and shopping is a key part of that ambition in Israel. Our Shopping business brings leading retailers across categories such as Electronics, Home, Beauty, Fashion, Kids, Pets and more onto the Wolt platform, helping customers find what they need with a convenient delivery experience.
We are looking for an
Enterprise Retail Partnerships Manager
to lead the acquisition of the largest and most strategic non-grocery retail partners in Israel. This is a high-impact, consultative sales role: building trust with senior decision-makers, understanding complex business needs, and shaping partnerships that create long-term value for both Wolt and our partners.
You will own the journey from identifying the right strategic partner through closing the deal, and will remain closely involved in the commercial relationship alongside our Account Management team.
What you’ll be doing
As an Enterprise Retail Partnerships Manager, you will play a key role in expanding Wolt’s Shopping business by bringing Israel’s leading retail brands to the platform. You will lead complex partnership processes from the first conversation through signing and launch, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and shaping commercial solutions that create long-term value for both Wolt and our partners.
Day-to-day in this role, you’ll:
Own the full acquisition journey for Wolt’s most strategic Shopping retail partners, from prospecting and relationship-building through negotiation, contract signing and launch preparation.
Work closely with internal stakeholders across Account Management, Integrations, Marketing and Legal to build thoughtful, executable partnership solutions and ensure a smooth path from deal to launch.
Identify and engage senior decision-makers across Israel’s leading retail companies, building trusted relationships throughout complex sales cycles.
Develop a deep understanding of each prospective partner’s business, priorities and challenges, and shape a compelling partnership proposition that creates clear value for both sides.
Lead complex commercial negotiations, balancing partner needs with Wolt’s strategic and commercial objectives.
Stay closely involved in key commercial discussions and growth opportunities after signing, in partnership with the Account Management team.
Our humble expectations
We’re looking for an experienced commercial professional who can build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, lead complex partnership processes, and take ownership in a fast-growing Shopping business.
6+ years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, business development or a similar commercial role, ideally with large retail, consumer, technology or platform businesses.
Demonstrated experience closing complex, high-value enterprise deals involving multiple stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
Strong commercial judgment and the ability to turn a partner’s business needs into a clear, credible and realistic value proposition.
Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the maturity to represent Wolt in front of Israel’s leading retailers.
A structured and analytical approach, with the ability to manage long sales cycles, prioritize opportunities and move multiple complex processes forward.
A collaborative working style and experience partnering closely with Account Management or Customer Success teams to ensure continuity after the deal is signed.
Fluent Hebrew and English, written and spoken.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for partner meetings across Israel.
What we offer
Working at Wolt means joining a fast-paced, high-impact and people-first company. This is an opportunity to be part of one of Wolt Israel’s most significant growth engines in the coming years, helping shape how leading retailers reach customers through Wolt. You’ll work closely with supportive and passionate colleagues, build partnerships with some of Israel’s largest retail brands, and make a meaningful impact on the future of Shopping at Wolt.

ABOUT THE ROLE
ElevenCreative brings together leading image and video models alongside our own audio models, so our users can make everything they need in one place. We are looking for someone to own our relationships with the model providers who make that possible, starting with video.
You will be the main point of contact for our model partners, help bring new models to ElevenCreative, and build partnerships that are good for our partners, our users, and our business. You will work closely with product, engineering, finance, marketing, and sales.
This is a green-field role. You will define how we work with model partners as the ecosystem grows.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Build and manage relationships with image and video model providers.
- Identify and evaluate new partners and models to bring to ElevenCreative.
- Own the commercial side of our partnerships, working closely with finance.
- Drive marketing including joint launches, campaigns, and co-marketing.
- Work with product and engineering to shape which models we offer and when.
- Support enterprise sales on partnership needs for large customers.
- Stay close to the generative video landscape and the models creators and marketers want next.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for someone who combines strong partnership skills with sound commercial judgment. You will thrive in this role if you:
- Have 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or commercial roles at a technology company, ideally in AI or infrastructure.
- Have deep familiarity with the generative AI model landscape.
- Are comfortable with numbers and can connect partnership decisions to business outcomes.
- Can manage several partner relationships at once and build trust with senior stakeholders.
- Have worked cross-functionally with product, engineering, finance, and marketing.
- Can operate with US and European timezone overlap, with flexibility for partners in Asia.
- Thrive in fast-moving environments where you define the playbook rather than follow one.
BONUS
- Experience working with AI model or API providers.
- Familiarity with usage-based or credit-based pricing.
- Experience running co-marketing or channel partnerships.
LOCATION
This role is remote. The team operates across US and European time zones, so the ability to maintain meaningful overlap with both is important.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Our Global Sourcing team is looking for an exceptional Sourcer to help build the future of global finance at Payward. This is a high-bar role requiring extreme ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex hiring challenges in a fully remote, high-agency, async-first environment where speed and quality are the standard.
Main differentiators between this role and any other Sourcer role on the market:
- Managing uncertainty: Payward is at the forefront of the innovation spectrum. As such, you can expect to tackle roles that you have never heard about, with no prior experience, data or track record
- Subject matter expertise: We are building one interoperable stack connecting crypto, tokenized assets, and traditional markets. We are looking for experts in the fintech field, or deep thinkers able to bridge that gap quickly
- Pace: You will be expected to flex your sourcing skills across Tech, Non-tech and anything in between with a very quick turnaround, across different payzones and businesses under the Payward umbrella, including Kraken, Ninjatrader and Reap.
- Builder mentality: We are not looking for a plain executioner but someone that will contribute to building something new, awesome and cutting edge
- Team work: Our sourcing team’s track record is unprecedented - we provide velocity and quality to our pipelines through hard work, but always working as a team. We have no room for solo players or internal competition
In return, we offer the chance to leave a mark in one of the most innovative companies in the space as well as the opportunity to join a world-class and high-performance team. If you believe you have what it takes, continue reading below.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to design and execute effective hiring strategies
- Gather, organise and communicate competitive market intelligence, identifying where target talent exists and sharing industry trends
- Collaborate with the broader sourcing team in leveraging best practices across research techniques, boolean searches, tools, networking and other sourcing methods
- Independently develop and maintain candidate flow across a variety of disciplines, leveraging data to drive decision making and process improvement
- Source candidates through a variety of search resources (social media, internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, etc.)
- Be an ambassador to Kraken/Payward, sharing our values and drive brand awareness in the market
- Participate in research projects and other initiatives which improve the infrastructure of hiring
WHAT YOU BRING
- Exceptional track record sourcing talent for reputable, fast-growing, high bar technology/product businesses against ruthless competition. Bonus points if you’ve hacked it in crypto, fintech or any product-driven org
- High craft - Ability to translate hiring needs into accurate sourcing strategies; strong expertise in boolean/X-ray sourcing
- High motor
- Scrappiness - you do not see problems but opportunities
- Strong product sense
- Sound appreciation for the fundamentals of talent acquisition, but creative and inquisitive when considering modern tactics
- High agency, strong bias for action, and the confidence to push boundaries, influence stakeholders, and close exceptional talent without compromise.
- Comfort in the chaos, thriving in ambiguity, owning your outcomes, and moving with urgency in a fully async, remote-native setting
- Ability to produce compelling market intelligence based on business and industry knowledge - Fintech/crypto understanding required.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.

QA
Engineer (Manual & Automation)
SD Solutions is a staffing company operating globally. Contact us to get more details about the benefits we offer.
Responsibilities:
Test new features by hand, deeply: exploratory testing of long, multi-role flows (pricing, eligibility, documents)
Build and own automation: Playwright + TypeScript E2E and API tests, running in CI
Keep the suite trustworthy: hunt down flaky tests, maintain selectors and test data, keep regression fast
Own the release: run the QA board, test plans and regression, and give the go/no-go before every deploy
Investigate production issues: use Sentry, Datadog, and PostHog to find the error, the logs, and the user session, reproduce it, and hand developers a ticket they can fix right away
Requirements:
3–5 years in QA, with real, recent experience in both manual and automated testing
Hands-on test automation with Playwright in TypeScript or JavaScript
Comfortable with Git and CI (GitHub Actions or similar)
API testing experience (Postman, pytest or similar) and solid SQL to verify data directly in the database
A sharp eye for business-logic edge cases: states, roles, calculations, and flows that break halfway
Understanding of how a financial company works: money flows, compliance, and why one wrong number matters
Clear test plans, test cases and bug reports that a developer can act on without a follow-up question
Daily use of AI tools in QA work (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar) to write tests, generate data and find gaps
Detail-obsessed, and knows which details matter to the business
Confident saying “not ready,” and explaining why calmly, with evidence
Strong team player who works with developers, not against them

Excellent English, written and live
Organized, independent, and quick to learn a complex domain

Partner with Product and Architecture to review specs, map legacy dependencies, and turn that into estimates the team can actually hit.
Guide architectural decisions across .NET Core services, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and frontend integrations, and be the go-to for the hardest backend, data migration, and production incident calls.
Sharpen how the team works day-to-day — tighter task tracking in Jira, more accurate estimation, and a QA partnership that keeps bugs resolved fast and production stable.
Run regular 1-on-1s tied to real career goals, and drive the feedback and process changes that keep the team improving and engaged.
We expect from you:
Solid

Deep understanding of web application architecture, REST APIs, the microservices pattern, message brokers (RabbitMQ), and

Practical experience with legacy system modernization, monorepo-to-microservices refactoring, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Ability to act as the technical escalation point for complex implementation, data migration, or performance issues.
Proven experience managing engineering teams — running 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and objective evaluations.
Strong track record in delivery management: task tracking in Jira, process discipline, and hitting internal deadlines with predictable releases.
Experience reviewing business specs, assessing technical feasibility, and providing high-level estimates — partnering closely with PM and product to keep engineering output aligned with product goals.

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. More than 9 million developers and 250,000+ customers now build on Supabase, and the majority of new databases on the platform are created by AI app builders — so the systems underneath have to stay reliable while they grow fast.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Container Engineering (ConEng) owns the internal container platform that runs Supabase's multi-tenant, multi-region services — the managed Kubernetes platform that other engineering teams build and deploy on top of. We own cluster lifecycle and cluster classes, multi-cluster and multi-region topology, capacity, scheduling, isolation and runtime safety, the higher-level platform APIs, the Kubernetes deployment contract and Argo semantics, rollout primitives, and runtime configuration and secret injection.
Your job is to make the platform itself trustworthy, observable, and cheap to operate at scale — and to raise the reliability bar for everyone who depends on it. This is not a gatekeeper role. You'll make the reliable path the easy path: building the automation and platform APIs that let product teams run safely by default, instrumenting what we operate, and making sure that when something breaks we detect it and recover fast.
The work spans three strength areas:
Tooling & ecosystem — deep knowledge of the container and orchestration landscape (Kubernetes, containerd/OCI, the CNCF ecosystem) and a clear point of view on how to compose it.
Software engineering — designing and building the platform's automation, controllers, and internal tooling as production code, including solutions that don't come pre-shaped by an existing tool.
Operational / SRE practice — the discipline (SLOs, error budgets, incident response, ORRs) that runs the platform at scale as a predictable one.
We expect you to be genuinely deep in at least one of these, and many of our strongest candidates are deep in two (usually leaning toward one). Bringing real strength across all three is rare and exceptional — and even then, no one is equally strong in all three at once, so you'd focus where you're most needed at any given time. Different profiles are welcome here; tell us which of these is your center of gravity.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Regardless of the skill set, all team members carry a share of the team's on-call rota, responding to platform incidents and driving them to resolution and follow-up.
Platform reliability & operations
- Define SLIs/SLOs and error budgets for the container platform itself, and build error-budget policies that actually gate platform changes.
- Own the Operational Readiness Review (ORR) process for new platform capabilities and major changes.
- Design and track metrics for platform uptime, and increase observability into the platform by capturing the right metrics, logs, and traces across the platform layers.
- Drive the incident-to-improvement pipeline: facilitate blameless postmortems, connect findings to readiness gaps, spot repeat failure patterns, and push through systemic fixes.
Software engineering
- Build and maintain the platform's automation, controllers, operators, and internal tooling — writing production code and shipping it, not just wiring together existing tools.
- Design and implement the platform-side CI/CD and rollout primitives that speed up platform deployments while working within proper change and release management.
- Implement and maintain security automation for the platform: intrusion detection, automated remediation, and patch management.
- Identify and quantify operational toil, and build the automation that removes it rather than just documenting it.
- Contribute to the platform's continual testing automation — the test suites and pipelines that validate platform releases are fit for purpose before they reach tenants.
Tooling, ecosystem & architecture
- Act as a platform reliability and architecture expert — contribute to failure-mode analysis, dependency mapping, and resilience design for multi-tenant container workloads.
- Evaluate and evolve the platform's tooling ecosystem (orchestration, runtime, networking, isolation, and observability stack) with a clear, opinionated view on trade-offs.
- Improve system architecture to reduce infrastructure cost while balancing security, reliability, and performance across tenants.
- Guide teams building on the platform to design sustainable on-call practices for their own services: alert quality, escalation paths, runbook coverage, and noise reduction.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Have 5+ years in platform engineering, container/Kubernetes platform operations, SRE, or production infrastructure, and have operated production systems at scale and carried on-call for them.
- Are genuinely deep in at least one — ideally two — of the three strength areas below (and tell us which is your center of gravity):
- Tooling & ecosystem — know the container/orchestration landscape well: Kubernetes, containerd and the OCI/CRI standards, and the surrounding CNCF ecosystem (e.g. Argo CD/Argo Rollouts for GitOps and progressive delivery; Cilium/eBPF networking and the Gateway API; Karpenter/KEDA-style autoscaling; and workload-isolation runtimes such as gVisor or Kata Containers). You reason about trade-offs rather than reaching for defaults.
- Software engineering — write real production code (Go and/or a comparable systems language) and can build controllers, operators, and platform APIs — stepping back to the underlying problem and building the right solution when no off-the-shelf tool fits.
- Operational / SRE practice — are fluent in SLOs, error budgets, and operational KPIs; have led incident response and blameless postmortems; and have driven down MTTD/MTTR for systems you operated.
- Have worked with large-scale multi-tenant systems and understand isolation as a spectrum — from namespaces, RBAC, network policies, and resource quotas through to stronger primitives such as virtual clusters (e.g. vCluster) or VM-class runtimes.
- Operate confidently on AWS (multiple accounts, IAM, VPC) and are comfortable with infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi preferred; Terraform/CDK also fine) and Kubernetes.
- Script and automate to eliminate toil rather than absorb it.
- Communicate clearly with both infrastructure specialists and product engineers, and thrive in async, globally distributed teams.
- Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and iterating toward better systems over time.
Nice to Have
- Experience building and operating a multi-tenant Kubernetes platform that internal teams deploy onto.
- Familiarity with policy engines (Kyverno, or OPA/Gatekeeper) and cost-attribution tooling (OpenCost/Kubecost) for per-tenant chargeback/showback.
- Experience with managed database platforms or Postgres.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, or similar observability tooling.
