Location: New York, NY (HQ) Workplace: Hybrid ABOUT RAMP Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. ABOUT THE ROLE People Programs at Ramp builds the programs that shape how employees experience the company day to day; from someone's first week to the moments that define Ramp's culture company-wide. As Ramp scales, we need someone dedicated to building that function and taking our foundations to the next level. In this role, you'll own programs like onboarding, manager enablement, engagement surveys, and the company-wide culture and recognition programs that shape how Ramp works, to name a few. You'll work closely with People Business Partners, People Operations, and Comms to make these programs land and thrive. This work is high impact and high visibility. This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role for someone with strong judgment who owns things fully. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build your own roadmap by pulling signal from engagement survey results, PBP and manager input, and People Ops, then make the call on what to build, improve, delegate, or stop. - Own onboarding effectiveness — from pre-start through the first week — so every new hire's first experience of Ramp reflects how we work and our culture, partnering with People Ops and IT on day-to-day logistics - Own the performance review cycle's program design — timeline, tools, and the manager/employee experience — partnering with PBPs on calibration and outcomes - Build and own manager enablement as a standalone program: design the content, frameworks, and moments that help managers lead well, in partnership with PBPs on delivery - Conceive, build, and run company-wide culture-building programs, fully owning logistics and content end-to-end - Own recognition programming: how we surface and celebrate what's worth celebrating across the company and the rituals/milestones that make Ramp's culture tangible day to day - Own the biannual engagement survey: design, run, and work with People Business Partners to translate results into action - Be the trusted voice on what we should build in-house versus buy (tools, vendors, platforms) for people programs, grounded in judgment about what's worth the investment, not a default toward either WHAT YOU NEED - 5+ years owning people/culture programs end-to-end at a high-growth company - from ideation through hands-on execution - A builder's track record: you've created programming that didn't exist before, not adapted someone else's playbook - Strong facilitation and executive presence. You’re comfortable being the face of a program in front of the whole company, not just behind the scenes - Comfortable with data: you can read engagement survey results and program metrics and turn them into a point of view, not just a report - Proven ability to partner across functions (PBPs, Comms, Enablement, leadership) - First-principles thinker who can turn ambiguity into a scalable framework: you don't need a rule book, but you can build one when it's missing BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL) - Flexible PTO - Centralized home-office equipment ordering - Health and wellness stipend - Budget for intra-office travel - Weekly coffee stipend UNITED STATES - 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents - One Medical annual membership - 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp - Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year) - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay - Pet insurance - In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more - Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed) CANADA - Group medical, dental, and vision coverage through Sun Life - Life, AD&D, and disability coverage - Fertility drug coverage (up to $4,000 lifetime) - Group Retirement Plan with employer match (RRSP + DPSP) - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay, with additional time available at reduced pay - Employee Assistance Program and virtual care through Lumino Health UNITED KINGDOM - Private medical insurance through Freedom Elite - Virtual GP and at-home care via eMed x Livi - Workplace pension through Penfold, with salary sacrifice option - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay with additional time available at reduced pay REFERRAL INSTRUCTIONS If you are being referred for the role, please contact that person to apply on your behalf. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems. We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that. We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft. We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us! WHY THIS ROLE? This role is for a highly experienced Back-End Software Engineer who wants to work on core systems that shape how the platform (Model Vault) operates. You will help define the architecture of the platform where reliability, security, performance, and simplicity all matter, and where many of the problems do not have off-the-shelf solutions. Model Vault is Cohere’s inference platform for deploying and operating models securely at enterprise scale. The team owns the systems between a customer and the underlying AI infrastructure, including identity, deployments, metering, billing, security, privacy, and confidential computing. We are strengthening these systems as Model Vault grows, with the goal of scaling to millions of users and supporting some of the world’s most demanding enterprise workloads. AS A SENIOR/STAFF SOFTWARE ENGINEER, YOU WILL: - Evolve and scale the backend systems that power Model Vault, including authentication and authorization, deployment management, billing, metering, and customer lifecycle. - Lead major architectural initiatives across identity, payments, usage systems, platform scalability, and other core product foundations. - Build highly reliable control-plane services for provisioning, configuring, scaling, and operating model deployments across clouds and hardware platforms. - Design APIs and distributed systems with strong guarantees around correctness, consistency, isolation, failure recovery, idempotency, and observability. - Build security and privacy into the platform architecture, including tenant isolation, least-privilege access, auditability, secrets management, encryption, and confidential computing boundaries. - Solve complex problems that span backend systems, cloud infrastructure, security, and AI inference, where conventional SaaS patterns are often not enough. - Drive projects end-to-end, from architecture and threat modeling through implementation, rollout, production operations, and iteration based on real customer workloads. YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF: - You are a strong backend engineer with excellent fundamentals in distributed systems, databases, networking, operating systems, and security. - You have strong programming fundamentals and experience building production systems in languages such as Go, Python, Java, C++, Rust, or similar. You write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and make thoughtful tradeoffs between simplicity, performance, and correctness. - You have designed and operated production systems where correctness, availability, security, and performance mattered at significant scale. - You can take ambiguous, high-impact technical problems, define the right architecture, and drive them through to reliable production systems. - You have strong systems-design instincts and understand concepts such as concurrency, consistency, caching, queues, rate limiting, backpressure, failure domains, idempotency, and graceful degradation. - You think deeply about security boundaries and understand authentication, authorization, identity, cryptography, secrets, tenant isolation, and how small implementation choices can create significant security risks. - You are comfortable reasoning across backend services, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and the cloud infrastructure they run on. - You are comfortable diving into unfamiliar codebases and debugging complex problems that cross service or system boundaries. - You care about the details of production engineering, including instrumentation, capacity planning, migrations, backwards compatibility, incident response, and safe rollouts. - You are comfortable challenging existing architecture and evolving foundational components when the system’s needs change. - You have a track record of taking technically difficult projects from an unclear starting point to systems that other engineers and customers depend on. FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS: - A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch. - Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health. - RRSP matching, 401K, Pension Scheme. - 100% Parental Leave top-up for up to 6 months, for either parent. - Annual enrichment benefits: Arts & culture, fitness/wellness, quality time, and a workspace improvement credit. Education & learning stipend for conferences, courses, and coaching. - 6 weeks of paid vacation (30 working days!) - Budget for traveling to other offices if you are remote, plus an annual company offsite. HOW AND WHERE WE WORK: - Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon. - For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events. - For those not near an office: a co-working benefit so you can work alongside others in your city. - Everyone receives a $500 home office stipend to set up your workspace properly. If any of the above doesn’t line up exactly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply. We strive to create an inclusive work environment for all; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Plan, design, and execute test cases for AI-powered components and traditional features, applying the appropriate methodology — eval-based or deterministic — based on the target behavior. - Analyze traditional functional requirements as well as AI model behavior specifications, prompt outputs, and edge-case scenarios. - Turn business requirements, user flows, and business process procedures into comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Perform manual feature testing across platforms and verify bug fixes. - Create clear, detailed defect reports and document unexpected AI model responses, hallucinations, and performance regressions. - Assist in developing QA practices for emerging technologies including AI frameworks, and disseminate best practices across the team. - Become a subject matter expert in core systems, interfaces, business processes, and reporting tools. - Partner closely with functional teams, engineers, and IT in a global environment with aligned LATAM working hours. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with HTML proxy tools such as Charles Proxy or Fiddler. - Hands-on knowledge of Xcode logs and ADB logs. - Experience in the financial services or fintech domain. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Location: New York City Office COMPANY DESCRIPTION Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often providers are overwhelmed with the painstakingly tedious work required to get paid by insurance companies. Powered by proprietary models, Tennr handles the complex paperwork that gets patients through the door and providers paid, helping operators get patients the right care, at the right time, in the right setting. ROLE DESCRIPTION We are looking for a recruiter to partner with our revenue org. You’ll run full-cycle recruiting across high-visibility roles, working with leaders across the GTM org to hire world-class talent. This isn’t a conventional recruiting role. You’ll work alongside executives to shape role strategy, design a high-touch candidate experience, leverage AI to improve our recruiting operations, and close exceptional talent for a fast-growing commercial team. You know what great looks like in a candidate, whether from building GTM teams at high-growth companies or from consistently exceeding hiring goals. The role centers on high ownership, data-driven decisions, and building pipelines and processes that scale. RESPONSIBILITIES - Own full-cycle recruiting for GTM functions, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships/BD. - Partnering with GTM leadership to refine role requirements, set hiring strategy, and identify the signals that raise quality of hire - Sourcing proactively, well beyond inbound, across healthcare technology, healthcare services, and B2B SaaS - Designing and managing candidate pipelines with a focus on efficiency, transparency, and a white-glove experience - Using AI to improve recruiting processes, such as sourcing, outreach, collecting feedback, and pipeline reporting, and sharing what works with the Talent team - Advising hiring teams with market insights, role benchmarks, and Ashby data, and building the rubrics, scorecards, and debrief practices that keep quality high - Representing Tennr externally. Every candidate interaction is a chance to show our brand and values. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS - 4+ years of recruiting experience, ideally focused on Sales and GTM roles - 1 to 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting at a high-growth startup, with a strong record closing customer-facing roles - Ability to manage high-volume, complex searches across multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or urgency - Strong partnership with hiring leaders: you influence with clarity, data, and operational rigor - Exceptional communicator who writes compelling role narratives and delivers a high-touch experience to candidates and stakeholders - Experience with Ashby preferred WHY TENNR? - Drive Impact: one of our company values is Cowboy, meaning you set the pace. You won’t just talk about things, you’ll get them done. And feel the impact. - Develop Operational Expertise: learn the inner workings of scaling systems, tools, and infrastructure - Innovate with Purpose: we’re not just doing this for fun (although we do have a lot of fun). At Tennr, you’ll join a high-caliber team maniacally focused on reducing patient delays across the U.S. healthcare system. - Build Relationships: collaborate and connect with like-minded, driven individuals in our Hudson Square office 4 days/week - Free lunch! Location: New York City Office COMPANY DESCRIPTION Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, "They'll be in touch soon." So you wait. ROLE DESCRIPTION As Director of Growth, you'll own the plan for how Tennr generates pipeline: where we invest, what we stop doing, and how we know it's working. Our buyers run DME suppliers, infusion centers, specialty pharmacies, and other provider organizations. They're operators, not software buyers. They search for specific problems, not product categories, and more of them now ask AI assistants which vendors to consider. We sell several products into each of them, including referral intake, prior auth, AI voice, and patient onboarding, and every new vertical, product, and channel multiplies the ways we could spend the next dollar. Your job is to pick the few that matter most and make sure the team executes on them. You'll lead Growth Marketing and work closely with Sales, Product, and Finance. You'll set the targets, work backwards from them to operating milestones, and run the cadence that keeps the team accountable to the number. This role suits someone who thinks like a general manager: you'll act as strategist, analyst, systems builder, and partner to Sales in the same week. The scope will grow to cover new problems as Tennr grows. You'll know you're right for this if you've been the person leadership hands its hardest growth problem, you're as comfortable building the model as running the review, and you want to build a team around this work. RESPONSIBILITIES - Goals & Metrics: Own Tennr's marketing-sourced pipeline target and set the channel goals that roll up into it. Break it into its drivers: CPL, CPQL, conversion to opportunity, and pipeline contribution by segment and channel. Own the model that explains what moves each one, and make sure progress is measured the same way every week. - Roadmap: Diagnose the biggest opportunities and constraints across verticals, products, and channels. Form a clear point of view on where Growth should invest and what it should deprioritize, and defend that call with data. - Planning: Turn the roadmap into a short list of initiatives with owners, success metrics, budget, and headcount. Run annual and quarterly planning for Growth, allocate budget across channels, including direct programs, and partner with Finance on spend and payback. - Operating System: Design the cadences, dashboards, and decision forums that surface performance gaps early and turn them into action. Partner with Sales on pipeline reviews, keep conversion signal clean from first touch to closed deal, and make changes in our systems of record yourself rather than filing a ticket. - Strategic Projects: Lead the high-stakes growth questions as they come up, such as how to enter a new vertical, how to take a new product to market, or how to position against a competitor, and bring the analysis that settles them. - Direct Programs: Own the programs that put Tennr in front of buyers and customers directly. Decide which ones earn investment, run them against a fixed budget and date, and hold them to the same pipeline standard as every other channel. - Experimentation: Set the bar for which experiments get run, funded, and scaled across new channels, AI tools, and Clay workflows, and cut the ones that don't earn their spend. - Team: Lead Growth Marketing across paid, search, AEO, and direct programs. Hire and develop the team as it scales, while staying hands-on in the work yourself. - Cross-Functional Leadership: Work with Sales on target segments and pipeline, Content Marketing on offers, Brand and Design on creative, Product on launches, and Finance on budget. Create clarity and drive decisions across teams you don't manage directly. QUALIFICATIONS - 7+ years of experience, mixing strategy work (management consulting at MBB or similar, investment banking, or private equity) with at least 3 years at a high-growth startup in strategy, business operations, growth, or revenue operations. At least 1 year personally owning a business outcome, such as a P&L, quota, pipeline, or retention number. - First-principles thinking. You can take an ambiguous problem, identify the outcome that matters, break it into its drivers, and design a practical path forward. - Quantitative fluency. You build your own models, write your own SQL. and can use imperfect data to find performance gaps, make tradeoffs, and tell whether a strategy is working. - Operator instincts. You move between setting direction and getting into the details required to make something work, and you keep multiple workstreams moving without losing the important details. - Program execution. You've delivered high-stakes programs with hard dates, outside partners, and fixed budgets, and you know what has to be true weeks before the day. - Presence. You can represent Tennr with senior operators and customers, and earn their trust quickly. - Cross-functional leadership. You create clarity, establish accountability, and drive decisions across teams you don't manage. - Ownership. You own the outcome, not just the inputs, and you follow up until the work is done. You've rebuilt a playbook from first principles before and want to do it again. - Clear writing. You can put a recommendation, the reasoning, and the tradeoffs on one page and get a room to a decision. - Judgment you can show. You can walk us through growth plans you've built, the bets you made, and what happened to pipeline. - An informed view on AI, backed by real examples of how you've applied it to your own workflows or a team's, and a clear sense of where it helps and where it doesn't. - Experience managing people, or a track record that shows you're ready to build and lead a team. A PLUS IF YOU… - Have healthcare or healthtech experience, especially selling to provider organizations. - Have worked at a vertical SaaS company that sells to operators rather than software buyers. - Have built a customer community or advisory board. - Have taken a new product or a new vertical to market. - Have built go-to-market workflows in Clay, Salesforce, or similar tools yourself. WHY TENNR? - Drive Impact: one of our company values is Cowboy, meaning you set the pace. You won’t just talk about things, you’ll get them done. And feel the impact. - Develop Operational Expertise: learn the inner workings of scaling systems, tools, and infrastructure. - Innovate with Purpose: we’re not just doing this for fun (although we do have a lot of fun). BENEFITS - Beautiful new office at 345 Hudson Street - Unlimited PTO - 100% paid employee health benefit options - Employer funded 401(k) match - Competitive parental leave
