LBC Mortgage is hiring an entry-level GEO Specialist!
This is a hands-on, learn-fast role. You don't need years of GEO experience. You need to be obsessed with AI tools, follow a plan, test new ideas every week and track what works. New AI platforms and agents appear every few weeks, and you'll make sure we show up on them.
About the Role

You’ll follow a clear strategy, use AI tools like ChatGPT to work efficiently, and take ownership of our listings, community presence, and content.
What You’ll Do
Set up, verify, and maintain our business profiles on key platforms, including Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, LinkedIn, Yelp, Facebook, Trustpilot, Nextdoor, Foursquare, and YellowPages.
Keep our business name, address, and phone number (NAP) identical across every listing, and audit regularly for inconsistencies.
Write clear, conversational business descriptions and profile content that match how people phrase questions to AI assistants.
Participate genuinely in communities such as Reddit and Quora by answering questions, sharing expertise, and representing the brand transparently.
Encourage and manage customer reviews on platforms like Google, Yelp, and Trustpilot, and respond to reviews professionally.
Use ChatGPT and other AI tools to draft content, research questions people ask, and speed up routine work.
Track where and how our brand appears in AI-generated answers and local search results, and report on progress monthly.
Support basic SEO tasks such as updating website content and keywords as directed.
What We’re Looking For
1+ years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, social media, or content (or a strong portfolio showing similar work).
Excellent written English and the ability to write naturally for different audiences.
Comfort using AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity in daily work.
Strong attention to detail, especially with data consistency across platforms.
Familiarity with Reddit and Quora community norms.
Organized, reliable, and able to follow processes while flagging ideas for improvement.
Nice to Have
Experience with Google Business Profile or local SEO.
Basic knowledge of SEO tools (Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar).
Interest in how AI search is changing digital marketing.

Little more about the team:
The team builds observability for AI in Honeycomb. We help customers see what their agents are doing, what those agents cost, and where errors happen. We also give them insight into individual conversations so they can debug them. We're bringing LLM and agent observability together, and we own both the data foundation and the product experiences built on top of it. You'll work in a small, cross-functional group of engineers with a dedicated product manager and designer, shipping features customers use in production. If you want to define how people understand and debug AI systems, this is the team for you.
What you’ll do in the role:
Own end-to-end development of AI observability capabilities, from ingestion to in-product visualizations.
Architect and evolve the data model and infrastructure that let us observe agents and their ecosystems across the Honeycomb product.
Build systems that analyze and surface AI-specific signals, such as cost, token usage, errors, and anomalies.
Collaborate with product and design partners to make sure what we build is usable, intuitive, and unlocks meaningful user workflows.
Teach best practices for exploring and understanding AI system behavior across conversations and workloads.
Iterate through fast feedback loops and experimentation, and share both wins and failures.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Significant software engineering experience, with a record of shipping and owning features end to end.
Experience shipping customer-facing features at a SaaS company, beyond internal tooling.
Full-stack range, with proficiency in backend development (Go and/or Python) and frontend development (TypeScript and React).
A track record of working closely with product managers and designers.
Regular, hands-on use of AI tools in your day-to-day engineering work.
Experience being on call. You'd join our rotation after about 90 days.
A track record of navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving field where requirements shift and experimentation is a core part of the job.
Bonus: Experience building LLM or agent-powered features in production.
Bonus: Hands-on experience with observability tooling, such as OpenTelemetry.
