About WorkOS 🚀
WorkOS builds modern developer tools and APIs that make it easy for companies to become Enterprise Ready. Our platform powers authentication, identity, authorization, and other critical infrastructure that developers need to securely scale their products to large organizations.
We recently raised a $100M Series C, valuing the company at $2B, led by Meritech and Sapphire with participation from Greenoaks, Craft, Abstract, and Audacious. WorkOS powers enterprise features for many of the fastest-growing AI companies, including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity, Sierra, and Plaid.
As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
About the role 💭
We’re looking for a commercially minded, AI-native BDR who enjoys understanding what technical teams are building and finding thoughtful ways to start conversations with them. You’ll combine account research, AI-assisted prospecting and engagement with the startup community to create qualified opportunities for our sales team. This is a hands-on outbound role: researching accounts, reaching out, following up and qualifying prospects are central to the job.
Responsibilities ✔️
- Creative Outbound Prospecting: Generate new leads through targeted outbound activities, including cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, events and other channels. We are looking for resourcefulness and innovation crafting new outbound strategies.
- AI-Powered Workflows: Build and improve lightweight AI-assisted workflows for account research, identifying relevant buying signals and preparing outreach. Validate sources, review messages before sending and use results to refine your approach. The goal is more relevant conversations and qualified opportunities, not automation or message volume for its own sake.
- Account Research: Research and identify key prospects, decision-makers, and stakeholders within target accounts to tailor your outreach efforts. Understand what a company is actually building — their stack, their auth setup, their scaling problems.
- Lead Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their pain points, business needs, and how WorkOS can help solve their challenges, qualifying them for the sales team.
- Pipeline Development: Set up high-quality meetings and demos for Account Executives by nurturing leads through the sales funnel.
- CRM Hygiene: Diligently log all prospecting activities, conversations, and pipeline data in Salesforce (or other CRM systems) to maintain accurate records and forecast pipeline health.
- Metrics-Driven: Meet and exceed monthly quotas for outbound activities, including the number of meetings set, emails sent, calls made, and qualified opportunities created.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, WorkOS product developments, competitor offerings, and what's changing in AI and developer tooling — so you can position yourself as a trusted advisor to technical buyers.
Qualifications 🌟
- Experience: You have experience creating opportunities for a product, business or community. That could come from sales development, growth, partnerships, community building, a startup or your own project. A BDR title isn’t required, but you should be able to explain how you identified an audience, earned their attention, followed up and turned interest into a meaningful next step.
- Target Personas: Experience outbounding to cofounders and CTOs.
- AI-Native: You have personally built or materially improved an AI-assisted workflow and used it in practice. You can explain the problem, how the workflow works, what you contributed and how you checked its output. You know where automation helps and where human judgment is essential, and can describe what improved or what you changed when it failed.
- Community Engagement: You actively engage with startup or technical communities and can share how you have contributed, learned from others or built useful relationships. This might happen through your work, online discussions, events, customer communities or a project. We value curiosity, consistent contribution and thoughtful follow-through, not the size of your network or who you know.
- Writing Skills: Able to independently craft messages and campaigns to technical leaders. You use AI to draft and scale, but you have the judgment to know when the output isn't good enough to send.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft personalized messages that resonate with different audiences.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfort with understanding technical products and effectively communicating the value of WorkOS to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bonus if you can read API docs, poke at a codebase, or have shipped something yourself.
- Tools: Experience with a modern sales stack and AI tools. Examples include Salesforce, Gong, Loom, Outreach, Claude, ChatGPT and Clay; experience with these specific tools is not required.
- Curiosity & Adaptability: Willingness to learn, adapt quickly to new strategies, and stay curious about the industry and your prospects' needs.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and able to manage your time effectively.
- You are located in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, able to work locally, available for in-person meetings with clients and customers, and able to attend in-person events as needed.

Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
ABOUT THE ROLE 💭
The Platform team builds the shared backend components and development systems that every WorkOS product, workflow, and team member depends on.
On the platform side, we build common backend capabilities used across WorkOS, including our events infrastructure, webhooks, email delivery, outbox-pattern queues, and more. These systems allow product teams to scale without rebuilding the same critical primitives. Because they sit on critical paths across our products, scalability, latency, consistency, reliability, and operational simplicity matter deeply.
On the productivity side, we build the systems that take code from an idea to production, including CI/CD, build and test infrastructure, deployment workflows, and internal tooling. As agents play a larger role in software development and increase the volume of code and concurrent changes, we are rethinking this platform to scale with that volume through safe execution, fast feedback, relevant context, and verifiable outcomes.
Our internal teams are our customers. Success means they can build and operate products faster, adopt shared capabilities instead of creating one-off solutions, and confidently delegate more work to agents.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON ✔️
- Design, build, and operate high-throughput, low-latency shared backend systems that preserve consistency and durability through retries, duplicates, reordering, partial failures, and high concurrency
- Create platform interfaces, abstractions, and paved paths with a clean developer experience that makes shared capabilities easy for product teams to adopt
- Rotate across and embed with product teams to experience their workflows directly, understand their friction, and use those insights to shape platform investments
- Map evolving product-team needs and collaborate with the Foundations team to introduce new systems and primitives, such as scalable search, database partitioning, and archival strategies
- Own and evolve our CI/CD, build, test, deployment, and release infrastructure to shorten feedback loops and make production changes safer
- Reimagine CI/CD for an agentic software development lifecycle by building isolated, reproducible, and verifiable execution environments, along with automated loops that allow agents to diagnose failures, update changes, rerun validation, and safely move work through review, deployment, and production verification
- Instrument the entire software development lifecycle and use metrics such as feedback time, CI reliability, deployment frequency, lead time, and change failure rate to identify bottlenecks and verify that platform investments improve engineering outcomes
- Own platform reliability end to end, including observability, capacity planning, incident response, root-cause analysis, and prevention
- Shape the long-term platform strategy with a high bar for introducing new infrastructure. Thoroughly evaluate vendors and existing solutions, make deliberate build-versus-buy decisions, and account for operational complexity, lock-in, migration cost, reversibility, and long-term ownership
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 🌟
- 8+ years of software development experience, with a track record of owning high-impact technical projects
- Experience building and operating distributed systems or platform services at scale, with a strong understanding of event-driven systems, queues, concurrency, idempotency, consistency, backpressure, retries, and failure recovery
- Experience building or operating CI/CD, build systems, test infrastructure, deployment platforms, or similar developer tooling
- A track record of designing platforms, frameworks, and tooling with a clean developer experience that makes complex capabilities easy for other engineers to adopt and operate
- Strong operational instincts across observability, capacity planning, incident response, and reliability
- Hands-on experience with AI coding agents, or a strong interest in building agentic CI/CD systems, verifiable execution environments, automated feedback loops, evaluations, and verification
- Exceptional pragmatism and technical judgment. You treat major infrastructure changes with the gravity they deserve and make deliberate, evidence-based decisions about when to build, buy, or improve an existing system
- Ability to move between long-term architecture and hands-on implementation while making thoughtful tradeoffs in an ambiguous environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience documenting systems and influencing technical direction across teams
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Postgres, AWS, Terraform, and queueing or streaming systems such as SQS and Kinesis is helpful, but not required
We expect strong depth in either distributed platform systems or developer infrastructure, along with an interest in working across both.

The role
We’re
hiring a senior, hands-on Product Manager to join WooCommerce Payments and take ownership of a defined area within our payments products and partner integrations.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Product, and work day-to-day with engineering, design, support, and partnerships. This role is deeply executional. You’ll spend much of your time in the work: in Linear writing and refining issues, triaging bugs and incidents, reviewing and shaping flows in Figma, creating lightweight prototypes, and writing briefs or PRDs when they’re needed.
Payments at WooCommerce run at a serious scale—billions in total payment volume—and the quality of this experience directly affects merchant revenue, shopper conversion, and the success of Woo’s commercial engine. This role sits right where reliability, trust, and execution matter most.
What you’ll work on
Own product direction and execution for a key part of the payments product area, with clear goals, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
Improve merchant and shopper experiences across onboarding, checkout, refunds and disputes, payouts, reporting, and overall reliability.
Raise the quality bar by reducing failures and friction, lowering support volume, and improving product ratings and merchant trust.
Use data, support signals, and merchant feedback to decide what to work on next, define success measures, and make tradeoffs explicit.
Work closely with priority payments partners (including Stripe and PayPal) to improve integrations, ship changes, manage dependencies, and resolve issues.
Keep stakeholders aligned through clear, direct writing and communication about progress, risks, and decisions.
What we’re looking for
7+ years in product roles, with senior IC experience owning complex problem spaces and influencing cross-functional teams through clarity of communication and precision of execution.
4+ years in payments or fintech, ideally on products operating at scale; experience with large or global launches is a plus.
Strong product judgment. You can make good calls in messy situations and don’t need perfect information to move forward.
Comfort working on critical, high-trust systems where reliability matters and small changes can have outsized impact.
Ability to work deeply with engineers and designers on complex problems, including technical constraints and tradeoffs.
Strong analytical habits and a practical approach to metrics, dashboards, and instrumentation.
Clear written and verbal communication in a distributed, async environment.
Familiarity with WooCommerce,
WordPress
, or open-source ecosystems is a plus.
Salary range: $170,000-$240,000 USD.
Please note that salary ranges are global, regardless of location, and we pay in local currency.

RESPONSIBILITIES ✔️
- Own and scale WorkOS’s developer events strategy (meetups, panels, workshops, office events)
- Represent WorkOS as a public-facing technical voice (talks, demos, community conversations)
- Create high-signal technical content that supports events and developer education (guides, talks, demos)

- Partner with GTM, Product, and Engineering to bring community feedback into our roadmap and messaging
- Support talent and pipeline generation by building communities where great candidates and customers gather
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in Developer Relations, developer advocacy, community, or a highly technical marketing role
- Strong technical foundation and credibility with developers (you can demo, build, and explain)
- Bias toward doing: you can run events end-to-end and create content that ships
- Excellent communicator and facilitator. Comfortable on stage and in small group conversations
- High agency and a builder mindset; you’re energized by experimentation
- Bonus: Experience in developer tools, identity/auth, or enterprise readiness topics

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for Research Engineers to contribute to our ambitious research agenda spanning multimodal foundational models, interactive world modeling, and real-time generation. This role is highly collaborative and will touch many aspects of our broader research efforts, taking a full-stack approach across pretraining, SFT/RL post-training techniques, evaluation, and bringing models to production.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Run experiments to teach world models new behaviors — action following, scene manipulation, camera control, and beyond
- Develop and test new data strategies, architectural variants, and training techniques
- Design evaluations that measure model capabilities, and use them to drive model improvement
- Take features from research prototype to production, collaborating with product and creative teams to address application-specific gaps
- Contribute across the entire stack (data pipelines, modeling, production inference) to move projects forward
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 4+ years of experience in machine learning research or engineering
- Familiarity with the architecture, training, and inference of large-scale multimodal generative models
- Experience building robust data pipelines for pretraining and post-training
- Comfort working across the full research stack: data, training, evaluation, and deployment
- Proficiency with at least one ML framework (e.g. PyTorch, JAX) and experience with distributed training at scale
- Ability to context-switch quickly and drive projects forward in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
- Excitement about building AI that simulates the world
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a mid-level Data Engineer for our team.
Become a part of a team of data specialists who take care of massive amounts of data and groundbreaking technologies. Your work will be driving and empowering efficient and successful decentralised domain data ownership and data consumption, for example, around car pricing intelligence or deliveries. When needed, you can participate in the evolution and optimisation of our data stack, helping domains to ingest, process and consume data across the company. You will also play an active role in driving our agentic evolution roadmap.
While being part of a central team of data engineers across Portugal, Poland and Spain, you will be embedded in cross-functional packs on a rotational basis. You will work closely with product managers, software engineers, product analysts, data scientists and regional business partners to identify and design new data projects and guide them through successful delivery and validation from end to end.

Build, maintain, and improve rock-solid data pipelines using a broad range of technologies
Support teams without data engineers in building decentralised data solutions and product integrations.
Build data pipelines in our Lakehouse using Medallion architecture.
Act as a data ambassador, promoting the value of data and our data platform among engineering teams and enabling cooperation
Cooperate with product teams to look for opportunities to integrate data into our end products and streamline source data so that data is cleaner earlier in the process
Follow and promote data mesh principles around decentralised data ownership and ‘data as a product’
Promote and uphold privacy-by-design principles, ensuring sensitive data is managed in strict compliance with established security and privacy standards
Increase data literacy of the engineering organisation by hosting training and mentoring other engineers (both less experienced data engineers and software engineers)
Help advance agentic systems tailored for data engineering through the creation of specialized skills and agents.
Who we are looking for:
+2 years of experience building complex data pipelines and working with both technical and business stakeholders.

Potential to build rock-solid Python applications - writes understandable and maintainable code
Experience with cloud data technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud), such as Redshift, Spark, Trino, Iceberg, Airflow.
